when she qualified as a Keep Fit instructor, in record time

the time she delivered a baby, on an ocean-going vessel, to a young mother who was entirely unprepared, dealt with the cord prolapse and an injured Sister Evangelina and the care for mother and baby afterwards

writing an article about women needing better access to abortion care, getting it published in the Times and defending her position, successfully, on the radio against arrogant bigoted men

when she made Sister Julienne see that her involvement with Keep Fit was helpful for women of all ages to become healthier and learn to know their bodies and get help if needed

Being there for her colleagues when they are out of sorts, especially Jenny and Cynthia and Chummy, but everyone else as well

Saving the life of mother and baby by performing a surgical intervention with all improvised equipment
