I spent the first half of my day at work daydreaming an official plot with Nikia. Still not sure where exactly to place her on the timeline in terms of age, but I'm ignoring it for the time being.
I also successfully napped but getting out of bed was hard lmao
OC rambling thoughts under cut
Specifically working up her character progression over her lifetime and a very sweet plot that (of course) derails the original plot a bit later. Marineford of course because I love very specific fanfic things.
Mainly the "this new character makes wider changes in very small and unexpected ways" and "the out of left field person does the thing multiple others have failed to do".
Look, if I'm shipping her me with Thatch, I'm not doing the OG ending. That's just depressing as fuck lmao, I'm already perpetually single irl, I'm not fantasizing eternal maidenhood into my daydreams. I'm not that fucking weird. I do actually like romance as a concept.
I also internally examined some things and the size shifting devil fruit fits harder than I originally thought though I'm still work shopping the details of how it works. Mainly how to do what I want it to do (change wing size and boob size because I can't imagine running and flying with H cups, I'm sorry, not even in anime. Shit hurts). I was thinking changing the size of individual parts would work fine within reason. Mainly handicapped by balance. Too much or too fast and you'd just be falling all over the damn place whether something grew bigger or smaller.
Also what kind of transition happens. Like, when she grows big or shrinks, if there's some sort of effect. I thought it would be cool if there's steam or smoke. Would make a really great scene if she gets pissed and stalks forward, growing in height with every step, only to stop while towering over someone and just exhales smoke in a hiss. Very good visual. Much love.
Workshopped what kind of haki she's naturally good at. Already knew it would be observation haki and armament later on while training to be a ranger for flying in blizzards. Hail hurts like a bitch lol. No conquerors but thought it'd be neat if she could 'slide under' by minimizing her presence. Big hitters could still flag her but the common ones would miss her completely. Observation specifically works as long range sensing/vision and minimal intent/emotion sensing. She's naturally very 'quiet' in her own haki which means she absolutely sneaks up on folks very easily even if they're good at sensing people.
I just spent 10 minutes writing the plot I came up with but deleted it so I can surprise y'all later and also it's late so I need to go back to sleep lmao
Ya know, before I completely spoil everything

Unseen
afab!reader x Killer
CW: canon-typical violence, smooches, sexy times, second go at life try again style story, 18+ only
Tumblr media
Chapter 9: Unseen
You tilt your head to the side as another pea goes by it, a small smirk on your face. You hear Boogie grumble, and you catch the second one he throws out of the air.
"You have to be able to see, Brat." He grouses.
You laugh. "I'm telling you, it's just observation haki." You level your fork at him. "Plus, you keep giving yourself away, all that grumbling."
It had been a couple weeks since the explosion at the marine base. You've adjusted well, and half of that was because you could feel the guilt radiating off Hip and Hop, and it wasn't their fault at all, even if you were sore as hell and concerned about your sight, you didn't want to let it show. You had been worried that Killer was going to start avoiding you, but he was by your bedside when you woke up and he hadn't left your side much since then.
A few days ago, you finally got him to give you enough space he could go back to doing his duties properly. The two of you had also had a few heavy conversations, and in one of them you made him promise that he wouldn't resent Kid no matter if your vision returned or not.
"You sure you're ready to get back to work?" Hop asks as you get up to take your plate back.
You smile, ruffling her hair with a free hand. "Yeah, I'm plenty healed up and House cleared me for work today."
"Light work," Killer corrects from the kitchen.
"See?" You shrug. "Don't fret."
Setting your plate down, you grin as Killer takes your hand and leaves the mess hall with you. You haven't complained about him escorting you from place to place on the ship, even if you could make your way around just fine on your own. You both knew it too, but the warmth of his hands around your own is comforting, and you honestly hoped he never stopped escorting you places.
Light work on the deck went well enough. You made Killer a little nervous when you clamored up the rigging and got into the bird's nest the old-fashioned way, but he didn't stop you. Geppo'ing was a little difficult when you were relying on observation haki, breaking your connection with a solid surface made visualizing the world around you difficult.
Dive was up in the crow's nest and gave you a hand up and into it.
"You came up here just to give Killer hell, didn't you brat?" His question came with a light tone. He wasn't scolding you for it.
"Maybe a little." You admit. "He's been doing well to balance how much he wants to protect me and how much he should, so I'm trying to not be too mean. How's he looking down there?"
"Talking to Emma, though from the looks of it she's teasing the hell out of him. How're you holding up?" Dive asks.
"Well enough. I do hope I'll be able to see again soon, but if this is the new normal for me then there's not much I can do about it." You shrug, patting around the edge of the crow's nest. "If I didn't have observation haki I would probably be handling this a lot worse."
"That's fair... Uh, brat?"
"Yeah Dive?" You reply, stepping up onto the edge of the nest.
"Don't you dare."
"Boy it's a shame you can't stop me, Dive." You sat with a grin, leaping off the nest and into the open air. You were reaching out with your haki as strongly as you could, but you didn't need to push. Killer was practically a beacon of energy from the moment your foot left the crow's nest.
To his credit, he wasn't trying to catch you. You imagine he's looking as calm as possible, but his haki flares the way Kid's emotions do, whether he's aware of it or not. You air walk before you reach the deck and land lightly beside Killer with a smile.
"You said it was harder to see when you're not physically connected to something." He states flatly. His annoyance was obvious to you, but only because you could see his haki bristle.
"It is." You admit. "Harder, not impossible. You felt it, right? I really pushed out with my haki when I jumped."
Killer sighs and ruffles your hair. "I did. But," his hands went to your shoulders, "House said light work."
You put your hands up in front of you and there's a laugh in your reply. "Yes, yes, I'm sorry. I will refrain from acrobatics for a few more days, I promise."
"Oi! Brat!" Kid yells from the cabins, sounding to be in better spirits than he had for some days. You turn toward the sound of his voice, and Killer takes your hand leading you over. Apparently, Kid looks as improved as he sounds, and as you approach you felt his hand ruffle your already ruffled hair. You probably looked a mess between the two of them.
"Heat and Wire are adjusting our course, we're meeting up with that creepy surgeon." He says as you run your fingers through your hair to try and fix it a bit. "Tomorrow we'll know."
A fear zips through your heart that you were hoping hadn't made it to your smile. Tomorrow could be the end of your hope, if the doctor wasn't able to restore your sight, then there would be nothing left. If the Ope-Ope fruit couldn't see it happen, then medically it wasn't going to happen.
"You alright, brat?" Kid questions. You weren't keeping the face you had wanted to.
"Yeah, just... nervous, I guess."
"I can have House assist." Kid offers.
"No, no. It's," you laugh a little and are grateful it's not forced. "This guy's doing us a favor, no need to make it seem like we don't trust his skills." Not trusting his skills was different from not trusting him though. "But can Killer be there?"
"I'll make it work." Killer promises, squeezing your hand.
The day seemed to take forever to end. As though every second that ticked by sat on the edge of marching forward for a moment before moving on. Skipping dinner didn't help things, and you weren't going to get breakfast either. It was going to be the longest hours of your life, and at the end of it there would be no going back.
You would see. Or you wouldn't.
You had wandered around the ship almost listlessly for the rest of the day. You couldn't feign cheer or force a smile. The weight of tomorrow was already heavy on your shoulders, and there was little to be done about it. Even Killer was giving you more space than he had since you were first welcomed aboard the ship.
The cool breeze of evening brushes against your skin, and you decide to turn in early. Your feet carry you almost automatically. Your haki is exhausted, but even without it you knew the layout of the ship down to the last step and so long as no one had left anything in your way, you would be fine. Since the raid, the ship had been cleaner than ever, and it wasn't as though the crew slouched on keeping Victoria tidy.
There was some comfort to be found in knowing everyone was looking out for you. However, the idea of them needing to be mindful of you for the rest of your life left a bad taste in your mouth. You didn't want to dramatically decide to leave the crew, it wouldn't be safe for you in the first place, and second to that you already knew no one would resent you staying. No matter what your capacity was.
As your hand turns the knob you stopped for a moment. This wasn't your door, but it was one you knew well – or well enough. Your feet had brought you to Killer's room, and not your own. You'd never been one to fight your own instincts, so you continue turning the knob and let yourself in.
You pat around a bit, to be sure you didn't disturb anything, and make your way to the bed. Supper wasn't that long ago, and if Killer wasn't still eating, he would be stuck cleaning up for a good bit. Tired as you were, you made yourself comfortable in his bed, and drifted off to sleep.
.

** Killer's PoV **
I hadn't expected the softly sleeping form of (Y/N) to be in my bed when I returned to my room. Something about it squeezed my heart painfully, but I wasn't sure why. I knew I cared for her deeply, I was even willing to admit the feeling was love, dangerous as that emotion is.
She looked so helpless. I knew she wasn't. I know her skill in haki was enough that she could still be a fully functional member of the crew – assuming she wanted to stay. She didn't blame anyone for what had happened, but the fact of the matter is that we created the circumstances that had stolen her sight.
Sitting down beside her, I brush her hair away from her face. I would give anything to see Kid become the King of Pirates, but I would give Kid to the devil himself if it restored her sight, and that scared me. Not because I felt it was wrong to think that way, but because I knew she would be mad at me.
"Eustass is the Captain, he has to be the priority for both of us or it's not gonna work."
I felt her hand wrap around my waist as she curled against me. There wasn't any indication that she had woken up. Only that she'd sought warmth and I was the warmest thing within reach. The grunt of a chuckle that escapes me is hardly more than a rough snort of air, close as I've dared to laugh in years. Pulling myself free of her hands I stand up, freezing for a moment as she mumbles.
"No, you gotta lemme..." She mutters sleepily, reaching out for where I was. "Braid ya hair... an' paint yer nails..."
I take off my mask with a sigh. I almost hoped she was dreaming about tormenting Kid, and yet, I hoped more that it was me.
Walking around to the other side of the bed I laid down behind her, pulling her back against my chest and wrapping my arms around her. The sleepy sound of my name tumbled from her lips and she fell into a steady rhythm of breathing.
.
.
.
.
You wake slowly in the morning and a steady heat fills your face as you realize you're tangled in the long limbs of your favorite pirate. You shift a little to move the blankets away. Killer's body heat is enough to melt the poles, but you don't want to untangle yourself just yet.
There's a soft groan, that rumbles against your back, and the long limbs wrapped around you hug you close for a moment before loosening a little.
"Good morning, handsome." You murmur softly.
"Morning, (Y/N), how'd you sleep?"
"Well enough, and longer than you, I'm sure." You reply. "I'd apologize for climbing into your bed uninvited, but -." You let the sentence drop, certain that the current situation proves your point.
"Mm, seems I'll need to soundproof my room and requisition a bigger bed." Killer muses, rubbing your hip and nuzzling into the side of your neck.
"I appreciate your positive outlook on how the day will go," you say, turning and kissing his cheek. You felt him flinch a little, but he cups your face and steals your lips, causing you turn more toward him. A content moan fills your throat and you let your back fall onto the mattress as you feel him over you, his hands and knees on either side of you, errant locks of his wild hair brushing against you.
While you two hadn't been apart since the explosion, you hadn't been intimate either. Whether it was guilt that held him back, or simply following the doc's orders, you hadn't been sure, and asking him seemed rude, all things considered. A bit like kicking the guy while he was down.
Killer's hands grip the sheets on either side of you, and you can feel frustration rising up in him. You reach up for him, stopping your hands before they reach his face, only to have him lean down and nuzzle his check into your hand. The skin is wet, and the reason why is obvious even before he speaks.
"I shouldn't have waited."
"There was no way to know." You reassure him.
"I know." His voice is filled with frustration.
"To me," you begin, brushing your fingers along his cheek, "it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what is under the mask, I have already lost. The sound of your voice, the warmth of your hands, the kindness in your limbs, the passion in your lips – I fell so hopelessly in love, that I knew it didn't matter.
"If I never see your face, if you're covered in scars, if you're beautiful and simply self-conscious of it, if you had three eyes, or whatever else I could think of." You smile, urging him to lean down so you could kiss him.
You hear Killer suck in a breath and his hands clasp yours, pushing them and you into the mattress. In a swift motion his hair is shifted away and hungry hot lips claim yours. The rush of heat and pressure causes you to gasp, and Killer wastes no time in deepening the kiss. The room is filled with the quiet moans of you both.
When the kiss breaks, you're both breathing heavy. You can feel the heat in your face, and Killer kisses your forehead gently before resting his forehead on your shoulder as he pulls you into a hug. The mane of his hair falls over your face a little, but it doesn't bother you.
"No matter what happens today, (Y/N), I don't want you to leave the crew." Killer states softly. "I won't stop you, whatever you decide, but I wanted to at least say that much."
The two of you stay like that a little longer, letting whatever the day was going to bring stay shut out on the other side of the door for just a moment more.

@giltheweebzard replied to your post “Starting the year off right: thinking about...”:
Don't forget Monet incapacitated Robin before she could use her abilities against her. And while Nami could use heat effectively, she and Chopper got bailed out by Zoro who drew attention from Monet.
Monet is definitely one of the most pragmatic characters in the series, which is in turn aided by the fact that she's well aware of where she stands relative to everyone else
She was able to "beat" Luffy because he wasn't getting serious against her; if he'd actually made a real effort to overpower her, he definitely could have, and she acknowledged that, so she made sure to go for a capture rather than for a win while he was still underestimating her
The circumstances of the fight play just as much of a role as the fighters, but let's take a look at how the match-ups might go if everyone were just plopped into battle without any context
Luffy: his Haki and overall strength easily overpower Monet if he's actually making an effort, as we've established
Zoro: same as above, and seen in canon
Nami: her Heat Eggs definitively give her an advantage, and the heat from her lightning attacks should work on Monet as well, but given Monet's speed, she should be capable of maneuvering around Nami's attacks once she knows to be cautious of them. Nami's weather manipulation could likely prevent Monet from conjuring a snowstorm and gaining a field advantage, but that might also just lead to a stalemate. If Nami lands a lightning attack, she wins, but she'd have to really strategize around Monet's abilities. I'm gonna call this one approximately even, but I'll give the advantage to Nami on the basis that weather is her entire thing
Usopp: I don't know how well his Pop Greens would work in a cold environment since they're from a tropical one, so there's a good chance that Monet could make her surroundings too inhospitable for them to be used properly. Usopp has used flame-based attacks before, so he definitely has a way to harm Monet even without Haki, but again, it's a matter of actually hitting her since she's very good at outmaneuvering her enemies. If he ever learns to actually utilize his Observation Haki, he'd probably be able to find where she hides in the snow, but if she's being cautious of long-ranged attacks, she'd probably be able to catch him before he can use his arsenal effectively. Usopp has a way to win, but advantage to Monet
Sanji: in terms of strength, Sanji wins - fire powers, Haki, iron skin, no contest. Buuut it's Sanji. He can't hit her, he won't hit her, he'll let himself die. Best bet is to tag in someone else
Chopper: no Haki, no heat-based abilities; he might be able to concoct a medicine of some kind that would allow him to produce heat, like a reverse version of Queen's Ice Oni, but Chopper's never been shown using medicine offensively aside from the Rumble Ball, so I'm not inclined to believe that he would. Even in Monster Point, Chopper doesn't have a way to hurt Monet and would really only be giving her more surface area to hit, though it might make him durable enough to resist most of her attacks. Monet has the advantage, though it would most likely come down to a battle of attrition more than anything else
Robin: Monet being a Logia-user gives her a distinct advantage, as Robin's grappling techniques are rendered completely moot; Robin's best hope against Monet is to use Fishman Karate, which can damage Devil Fruit-users the same way that Haki does, but Robin has thus far only used Fishman Karate strikes as a set-up for her grappling, so we don't have much reason to believe that she has anything in her arsenal that would allow her to land a definitive blow. If she has more techniques up her sleeve, sure, but as it stands, Monet most likely wins
Franky: Multiple methods of taking advantage of Monet's weakness to heat (fire-breath, laser beams, etc.) and a near-invincible body give Franky the distinct advantage, though Monet's cunning and strategy could eke her out the win. Still, I'm giving this one to Franky since I don't know if Monet's offenses have a way to get around Franky's iron constitution. Edit: Reevaluated this, I forgot that Franky's back is still his weakness post-timeskip. Monet would definitely figure this out since she favors attacking from behind. Franky is also canonically the second-slowest Straw Hat and almost exclusively wins his fights through brute force instead of strategy, so Monet would definitely land her hits with little difficulty. In the worst-case scenario, Monet would likely figure out that she can freeze Franky's cola to render his weapons useless. Monet takes the advantage
Brook: Brook's ice attacks shouldn't have much effect on Monet given that she's already frozen, though it's been stated that Aokiji's ice Logia would overpower her snow Logia the same way that Akainu's lava overpowered Ace's fire, so it's certainly possible that Brook could freeze Monet's snow into solid ice to force her into having a corporeal body, but that depends on how adept he is at using cold, I think. Brook's speed also gives him a good counter to Monet's, but a lack of Haki makes his offensive options a lot more limited. He uses his hypnosis abilities so rarely that it's hard to say whether they would affect Monet, but I'm inclined to believe they wouldn't since he only really uses them on fodder enemies. If ice overpowers snow he has a way to harm her, but being able to harm her isn't the same as being able to beat her. I'm going to give this one to Monet, but cautiously. Edit: after much thought, I've decided that Brook's ice should be able to harm Monet, and his speed should be more than enough to keep up with her, even if only via reaction time. Brook has shown resistance to being frozen (as he has no flesh or blood), and his lack of organs makes him resistant to stabbing attacks. Only Monet's bites pose a real threat, and they're her slowest attacks (Nami could move Chopper out of the way while otherwise immobilized by Monet's cold, which wouldn't affect Brook). This one goes to Brook, but Monet's strategies still give her a decent chance
Jinbe: no contest, Jinbe's on at least Doflamingo's level and is both skilled in Haki and the foremost Fishman Karate master. He's so serious that I don't even see a way that Monet could get the drop on him in any situation, either, but perhaps her binding-based abilities would let her hold her own for a while
So that's three definitive losses (Luffy, Zoro, Jinbe), three solid wins (Usopp, Chopper, Robin), two shaky losses (Nami and Brook), one shaky win (Franky), and one default (Sanji)
Huh, that came out a lot more balanced than I was expecting to be, actually. Basically three each of losses, wins and possible draws. Honestly, though, if Oda put any of the Straw Hats against Monet, he'd probably find a way for them to win, since generally the crew doesn't lose their arc fights, but that should only strengthen the argument that Monet isn't too weak to join. They're all dolls that Oda plays with as he sees fit, he can just write a way to win any given fight. He's skilled enough to do so with logical consistency between battles, but still, if Monet joined, he'd make sure that she's a competent enough fighter to beat whatever opponents he'd have her up against and would make her just as viable a combatant as anyone else on the crew
In short, "too weak to join" is just an excuse that people use to derail the argument

Helloo! I saw your #ask games post for the headcanons :3 I wasn't really sure if this was 'just' a reblog or if this is your event haha. Sometimes the world of Tumblr still confuses me 🙈
But. If you are taking requests, I'd like to see these prompts for Zoro, Ace and Law (if this isn't too much work ofc): ☾ ✿ ൠ
Thank you 😘💕
It's just a public reblog thing! If it was my event, it'd have ten different coloured banners everywhere xD. Also I hope you don't mind if I skip the sex headcanons, my brain doesn't want to co-operate on that field rn. (I have Law's here though)
☾ - sleep headcanon
Zoro: This man would probably defeat the god of sleep in a sleeping contest. He is always sleeping deeply, and it's a trouble getting him to wake up. Relies on his Observation Haki to wake him up if he gets in trouble's way.
He can and will sleep pretty much everywhere, uneven wooden floor, soft and comfortable mattress, you name it. He mostly sleeps in normal positions, with his hand tucked under his head for support. Doesn't matter if he's on his back or side.
Oh did I mention he prefers sleeping fully clothed? Might take off his shirt in rare occasions, but otherwise he prefers staying covered. Not big on cuddling either.
Ace: He has Narcolepsy. It does get in his way of doing things most of the time, but he has built his life around it. When these happen, he simply goes limp, and will wake up only on his own accord.
But when he does sleep on his own will, oh boy, he's a big baby. Will cuddle anything in his vicinity, be it a pillow, a blanket, a human. But he does sleep light and get a lot of dreams. Sometimes wakes up to find burnt blankets strewn around him.
He's the type of guy to sleep in weird positions. Half of the time he's hanging off his bed and will wake up with a headache or sore limb. If not that, he's taking up all the space with his limbs spread wide open. Or he's curved the wrong way like a crescent moon, you get it. (And Marco has tried to help him not get whacky joints but Ace never listens)
Law: Oh our poor sleep deprived doctor :''(. He hardly sleeps because he's always trying to study about new things, keep an eye out towards the safety of his crewmates, and his always persistent nightmares. Am I writing angst here? yes.
He only sleeps when he knows the situation permits. Like, actual full sleep. Not little naps. He will sleep in his room, all alone and very secure. Sleeps completely naked and curled up in a fetal position.
Would generally cling onto a pillow for comfort. And when he wakes up it looks as if he just came back from a duel. Also a light sleeper and can subconsciously use Observation haki. Sometimes hopes he had a person to comfort him while he sleeps, but has trust issues. Would probably ask Bepo to stay with him if he thinks his nightmares will get too bad that day.
ൠ - random headcanon : What kind of a father will they be?
Family headcanons lets go xP Also I'm gonna rate them on how much I'd recommend them being a father.
Zoro: Is going to be an absent father. Also extremely insecure. Let's just say he's a very unplanned guy too. He's going to take a long time accepting that he has a massive responsibility and needs to put in work. Needs a lot of talk from the other parent and from his friends. Look, I don't blame him, he has some sort of.... thing going on with his own parents, which even we don't know of.
4 / 10 ; could go for it, but prepare to take risks
Ace: Was he protective of his partner before? OH he's going to become, so, so much more protective. He had a bad father, and he's going to do everything he can to make sure his child gets the best dad (s) ever. (But he'd need help from his partner to know what he's supposed to do next) Will always make sure his partner is not getting too stressed, will always be by their side. He's also going to need some support for himself, which he'd seek from his friends. Maybe would get reminded of some unpleasant stuff. But hey! Atleast he's putting in effort to be responsible.
8 / 10 ; -2 because he's probably very unplanned too
Law: This guy. Where do I start. He had two amazing father figures in life (his actual one and Roci) so he knows what he needs to do. Also? He's a guy known for being strategy and plan oriented. So he's going to make sure that all the parents are emotionally, physically and financially capable. Also he's a doctor! What else do you need?
10 / 10 ; Maybe I'm biased.
Thankyou so much for the ask! Putting out some unpopular-bordering personal opinions on these characters. It was very fun to write and it came out way longer than I anticipated sksksk. Hope you have/had a great day!

Hello dear 🥰 your opening is far too tempting not to request more content of our favorite mochi from you 🥺 so if you're up to and there's still room, may I request HCs for Katakuri visiting an Amusement Park with his S/O? 🍩
I adored every piece you wrote for him so far and I'm a big fan of your work ❤ Thank you so much for being such an amazing content creator ✨ hope you have lots of fun writing for this new batch!
(EEEEEE anything for you Ellie <3)
The only canon amusement park in One Piece is Sabaody Park, and I can imagine Katakuri going there on some kind of work related to Big Mom’s empire (it’s got a lawless underground vibe and maybe he goes there for some rare ingredients that they couldn’t get through conquest? Maybe Big Mom’s craving the cotton candy there and she tells Kata to get a metric ton of it to bring back to Tottland? Who knows). Because nobody is likely to fuck with a Yonko’s best fighter who’s also 16 feet tall, he doesn’t mind bringing his s/o with him. He feels kinda bad for not being able to take them out on dates when he’s out on Sweet Commander business, so he mainly agrees to go to the island because he can try to do something romantic for his Sprinkle.
Even though he brings them there, he’s still very protective. He makes sure no other park attendees let their gaze linger on ____ for too long, and he makes sure that she’s properly strapped in for every single ride. It doesn’t matter if it’s something slow and low-key like some spinning teacups or a carousel--he HAS to ensure that his s/o is safe.
He was going to be fine with the likelihood that he wouldn’t be able to ride most attractions due to his size, but surprisingly he just barely meets the height limits for most of them (long story short, Whitebeard’s friends with the park owners and they started building rides to accommodate big-and-tall fellas who want to ride stuff with their huge family on vacation).
He feels strange riding them though, just because he isn’t used to indulging in something like that. He’s still a bit stoic and stiff on these rides, partially due to the fact that he’s faced much more scary and adrenaline-rushing stuff than a loop-de-loop or a sudden-drop ride. Throughout the day though, he becomes more and more relaxed and his s/o can tell he’s smiling more often underneath his scarf.
He was planning on going back to the ship for his Merienda, but his s/o begged him to try some of the food at the vendors in the park. After they snuck a few pieces of churros and funnel cake into his mouth while he kept his scarf on, he made a note to tell Mama about these interesting desserts that weren’t as common on Tottland. When he sees a stall for deep fried desserts, he’s confused as to how that could sound appealing...until he sees that they have deep-fried donuts on the menu. He gets the stall’s entire stock and has them make even more while he sets up a mochi shrine outside of the park to deliver to him and his s/o while they enjoy an extra special Merienda.
A few kids notice the shrine and assume it’s a bounce house attraction, but Kata’s Observation Haki clues him in to quickly putting on his scarf and coming outside before an unfortunate incident happens. When he sees the disappointed look on the kids’ faces though (and the puppy eyes from his s/o), he makes a large castle of mochi for the kids outside the park to play in. He tells the park owners that he wants more deep-fried donuts in exchange for the free attraction, though.
He doesn’t know what kind of souvenir to get, especially since the bubble-related ones will pop and be useless once they leave Sabaody. His s/o decides surprises him with a snowglobe with a figure replica of the park inside and glitter, and he handles it like it’s the damn One Piece with how much he treasures it. He also gets a bubble-shaped ornament/window decoration for Brulee to bring back, since she likes stuff like that as a souvenir.
He wins any and every prize at the park’s game booths, using his strength and Observation Haki to win against the rigged games. The kids from before ask for some help winning, since they’ve used up all their tickets and didn’t win a single thing--even when they managed to win, the employees only occasionally let them win just to hide suspicion that the games are rigged. Katakuri, not impressed by machinery that’s designed to take money from kids who don’t know any better and can’t realize they’re being tricked, robs those booths fucking blind with his skills and soon he has a mountain of stuffed animals and toys for every kid in the park to take home.
He holds his s/o’s hand (well...they hold his index finger) all throughout the day at the park. Even though he doesn’t think anyone is dangerous enough to take him on or hurt ____, he still gets extra protective whenever his Darling is in a crowd. Thankfully he’s very easy to spot.

All of these prompts are from chapter 6 of Seven Suitors in Obi's pov. Could you please write the snow neck kissing part and the "I'm tired of all this space between us" part with Obi waking up after? Thank you so, so much!!
Obi wakes with a start, eyes snapping open to –
To his Miss above him, her hair a burnished corona around the pale moon of her face. The lights are lowered, she is ready for bed, and he is certain he must still be sleeping. This comes far too close to his dreams to be reality.
“You fell asleep.” His mind churns at the sound of her voice – even after all these years, his dreams could never quite mimic the sweet cadence of it, could never quite predict the tender trajectory of her words. How could he, when she was the first to treat him as if he is more than what he can do for her. As if he had value outside of his usefulness.
As his mind awakens, he vaguely remembers entering his darkened room. He remembers his anticipation cutting through his exhaustion, of choosing to removing coat and boots, of sitting down on the bed to wait. For her. For later.
Something else stirs now, lower.
He bites back a groan. Not the time for that.
“You must be tired,” she observes, eying him critically. It’s an understatement: he is weary.
“I am.” He closes his eyes to blink, and their sudden roll startles him back into wakefulness.
He laughs, disappointed. Of course Makiri worked him so hard on this night of all nights. “I know we –”
“You’re tired.” Her hips settle next to his shoulder, just barely brushing. It’s torture having her so close, finally having these few moments together, and being able to do nothing about it. “It’s all right if you would rather get some rest.”
He rolls to his side, laying a palm against her thigh. It quivers under his touch, and he lets that make him bold, smoothing it over the flannel of her nightgown to hook over her hip. “I wouldn’t say rather, Miss.”
His gaze wanders over her, taking in her fast breaths, the squeeze of her thighs, her parted lips. “I’m sure I could put in a good effort, if you can’t wait.”
He could probably put in a good effort if he was half dead as well, but he doesn’t think she’d appreciate the compliment.
“I can,” she tells him, breathless. He bites back disappointment – he had almost hoped she would push, that after that display in the barn she’d give him no quarter –
“Wait, that is. For, um, this.” Her voice grows strained, breath more labored had he strokes his thumb along the bone where hip meets thigh, tracing it down to its end – “For – whatever we’re going to do.”
His heart stills with his hand. She’s never lain with a man, he knows; he hadn’t expected that as – as later. Kisses, yes, long and slow, promises of things that could come. A taste of what skin-against-skin felt like, his hands smoothing up over the soft skin of her arms, her thighs. Maybe even a, uh, easing of their wanting, had that interested her.
It hadn’t even cross his mind that she might have thought he wanted that.
“Miss.” He makes his tone insistent, enough that she drags her gaze from his hand to his eyes. “It’s whatever you like.”
He palms the soft curve of her hip, tender but also a shade rough. A promise. “Whatever you want.”
He weights the word with innuendo, lets his offer be clear. She turns a promising pink.
Obi leans up toward her, grinning. “You do know what you want, don’t you, Miss?”
“Y-yes.” A lie.
“Is that so?” He shifts, putting her tantalizingly close. He only is touching her hip, rubbing small circles with his thumb, but it feels like so much more. “Then you should tell me.”
She is tellingly silent. His miss is all bark and no bite tonight.
“Maybe I should start, Miss,” he offers, teasing. She merely stares at him, wide-eyed, as if she’s hoping –
As if she wants him to devour her.
He needs to take a step back, to let some cool air in between them, but he can’t, not with her finally so close.
He starts simple, chaste. “I want to hold your hand.”
His fingers trail up her side, bare skin over flannel, and he remembers another time, where it could have been leather and her own soft hands. He drags them down her arm, over her elbow. It is like exhaling to hold her hand like this, fingers twined so intimately together. It feels right.
“Just like this,” he breathes. His heart beats so fast in his chest just doing this, finally getting to touch her –
“I want to hold you,” he admits, fighting back the prickle of a blush. He cradles her hand against his chest, a pale imitation of what he really desires, but it’s enough for now.
The whole of him aches for her body against it, but – patience. He needs patience. “I want to feel you against me. I’m tired of all this space between us.”
He’s had her mind for so long, but he’s greedy; he wants everything else too. Her heart, her body, her soul – he wants to hold it all in his hands. He wants her to be as completely his as he is hers.
He sweeps a finger over the soft skin of her wist, and he feels the frantic flutter of her pulse. Her eyes are so dark when she looks at him, nearly all pupil –
“I want to touch you like I did the night of the ball. When my finger brushed your neck and you shivered.” He breaks his hand away from hers, trails fingers back down her side. “I’d like to see you do a lot more of that.”
He has a litany of things he wants, and he means to tease her more, but it’s then that he feels her slender fingers against his chest.
“I want to kiss you,” she tells him, so earnest, her mouth parted as if ready to receive him. And, oh, how he wants to give.
Until she taps at the hollow of his collarbone. “Here.”
She –
That was –
He twitches, and he reaches out, pulls her wrist away from his skin.
“We shouldn’t talk about this,” he says, striving to keep his voice light, casual. “Not when you’re on my bed.”
She shifts closer, tempting him. “It’s the inn’s bed.”
His miss plays such a dangerous game. “Not when I’m lying on it.”
“I’m lying on it too,” she tells him, and he doesn’t miss the heat in her voice when she adds, “Does that make it mine as well?”
He swallows thickly; her hand is so close it brushes his throat when he does. That is – too much. It all is.
“It could,” he allows, and he’s – he’s far too tempted, too tired to stop himself if she doesn’t. He can’t – he can’t do this, when he might take more than she means to offer. “I should really get some rest, though.”
She nods. “Tomorrow? Or should we –?
He bites back a groan. As if he could make it another day. “Tomorrow, yes. If you don’t – if you don’t mind that –”
Everyone would know she’s making time with her bodyguard. The help.
She barely hesitates. “Tomorrow.”
The air in his lungs is strangely missing. His miss wouldn’t even mind if – if everyone knew –
He yanks on her hand as he rolls to his back, sending her sprawling over him. “Or stay here tonight,” he offers innocently. “Then it could be tomorrow, but sooner.”
“I shouldn’t.” It’s clear she wants to. “Haki would be insufferable if she came looking for me and found me here.”
“A fair point, Miss,” he laughs. “But could you – just for now –?”
She lays down beside him, now space between them. “Yes.” She rubs a hand through his hair. “I can stay for now.”
Stay forever, he wants to say, but he’s content with this. With whatever she can give.
For now. For tonight.

(As the three of them leave, Maple puts a finger to her lips and motions for the group to follow her. They make their way to a nearby forested area, and once they're out of earshot Maple breathes a sigh of relief before waving the fan to clear away the smoke around them.)
Maple: Okay. You can talk now that nobody's nearby.
Dochi: What WAS that?
Maple: A spell, obviously. One that made us invisible.
Ube: Man, you think fast. I was like, two seconds away from taking out my sword if that guy took another step towards us!
Vanilla: Fritter? Hey, you okay?
(Fritter clings to her and sniffles, crying while holding her tightly)
Fritter: That was the killer, 'Nilla! He was right THERE! If he'd seen us, he would've...
(The others immediately go to comfort him, putting a hand on him and making a big group hug)
Ube: Hey, it's okay! Look, we're all here and we're fine thanks to Maple. We're not gonna let you and Vanilla get hurt by any bad guys.
Fritter: What about you guys? I don't want you to get hurt, either!
Dochi: We'll be alright. Big brothers and sisters are tougher than most people. It's why we're...you know, BIG brothers and sisters. We're big and strong! (Flexes her arms)
Maple: And we're smart, too. Which is why we're not going to stand around here, in case some of the townspeople come near here. Look, there's an old pathway up that hill that looks like it hasn't been used in a while. Why don't we go up there and try to set up camp on the mountain?
Fritter: Um...okay. (sniffs and wipes his sleeve) That sounds like a good idea.
Vanilla: Ooh, I think I can see a roof up there. Maybe we can spend the night in there instead of sleeping outside.
Dochi: If the path looks like it hasn't been used in a while, then what's up there? If it's an abandoned house, then it'd be easier to stay there without anyone noticing us.
Maple: It might be abandoned for a reason...But it's the best option I can think of. Come on, let's start walking; the more distance we put between that murderer and us, the more comfortable I'll be.
(The five of them climb the winding path up the mountain, and are more quiet after their close encounter with the murderous ronin. Dochi, Maple, and Ube take turns carrying the younger two kids whenever they get tired, and after a while they arrive near the top of the mountain. The building Vanilla saw is now fully visible; it's the crumbling ruins of an old castle. Near where they're walking is a set of gravestones along the path leading to the castle's entrance.)
Fritter: Hey...Hey, hang on a second, we gotta stop walking.
Dochi: You need me to carry you again?
Fritter: No, we have to be good guests. If we're gonna stay at this house when we don't live there, we need to be nice about it.
(Maple seems to realize what Fritter's getting at and nods slightly. She sets Vanilla down and takes a few items out from the knapsack she's carrying, and motions for the others to do the same.)
Maple: For the spirits of the people who used to live here. Fritter's right, we need to leave them a gift as payment for staying in their home uninvited.
Dochi: Ohhh, right. Mom says that you should be kind to your host--even if it's a ghost host!
(The siblings each take out some spare food and place them near the four gravestones. Vanilla tugs on Maple's sleeve and points at her pipe.)
Vanilla: Can I do the flower spell? I wanna give the ghost hosts flowers as my present.
Maple: (smiles) Go ahead. You remember the words?
Vanilla: Yup!
(Vanilla takes the pipe and quietly murmurs to herself as she holds it out in front of the grave stones.)
I summon the boun-ti-ful jewels of spring, bloom here for me and make the earth sing.
(The marks on Vanilla's cheeks glow faintly as smoke billows from the pipe and settles on the ground, thickening and swirling until a handful of seedlings begin to sprout and grow at a rapid pace. After a few seconds, a cluster of flowers bloom and sway gently in the breeze. Maple takes the pipe back and pats Vanilla on the back.)
Maple: Great work, 'Nilla.
Ube: Hey...Maple, Mom's used magic to talk to ghosts before, right? Has she ever taught you to do it?
Maple: A little bit. I mean, she won't let me study necromancy until I'm older, though...I have taken a peek at some of her spellbooks on it. But speaking with spirits is something we've practiced together.
Ube: So could you speak to the people who lived in this castle? That way we can actually ask permission to spend the night.
Maple: Hmm...I guess I could try. I wonder if they could tell us more about Wano's history. It'd be a rare opportunity to learn about it. I mean, there aren't any books about Wano you can just pick up and read.
(She reads the names on each stone before taking the pipe out and blowing a swirling trail of smoke that circles around the graves.)
Echo of life, shadow of death. Kin'emon, Momonosuke, Raizo, Kanjuro...Let your echoes reach us, let your shadows appear to us.
(The smoke continues to circle around the graves, but nothing else happens.)
Fritter: Did you say it right?
Maple: I'm sure I did. Once you say the incantation, you should be able to sense a spirit and then it'll take shape. With the pipe, it should be easy for them take a form we can see with the smoke.
Vanilla: Maybe they don't like smoke. Should we try something else they can use as a shape, like the flowers?
Maple: I...I don't understand, I've done that spell perfectly before. Why isn't it...wait a minute. (She peers intently at the smoke circling around the grave, watching it slowly begin to fade and drift away) I...don't think anyone's been buried here.
Fritter: Maybe they're shy and don't want to talk to strangers?
Maple: No, that can't be it. Even if they didn't want to appear, I used enough power to summon them here. They would have started to take form before leaving if they didn't want to speak to us. I don't think there's anything here to be summoned.
Ube: Then why are there graves here?
Maple: That's a good question.
(As they stare at the graves in confusion, the sound of voices causes them to freeze up. The people approaching sound as if they're coming from the path the kids had taken from the bottom of the mountain by Okobore, and the siblings immediately see their clothes and recognize them as the adults from the town.)
Luffy: Why did you want to come with us to this castle, anyway?
Kiku: I'll explain once our allies have all arrived.
(The adults see the children near the graves, and both groups stare at each other in surprise for a moment. The one in the red robe looks even more familiar to the children, and they wonder if they'd seen him before they had ever come to Wano. The green-haired swordsman is the first to speak up.)
Zoro: Oh, it's those kids from earlier.
(When his gaze lands on Fritter, Ube and Dochi immediately raise their weapons while Maple takes her youngest brother's hand. Vanilla hides behind Maple and grabs Fritter's other hand.)
Ube: Stay back, murderer!
Dochi: Don't take another step towards my siblings, or I'll cut you in half, right along that scar on your chest!
Law: Murderer? I told all of you to keep a low profile!
Luffy: No, Zoro told me that was just a misunderstanding. He didn't kill anyone, he just slashed the guy who framed him and ran off!
Kiku: You really do have a talent for causing a ruckus...
(Vanilla steps out from behind Maple to get a better look at the man in red.)
Maple: 'Nilla! Get back behind me, we don't know who these people are.
Vanilla: But... (she peers at Luffy, and when she recognizes him she beams at him) That's not a stranger! That's Luffy, he's Papa's friend!
Ube: Wait, what? Oh. Ohhhhh, you're right! It is!
Dochi: Holy crap, it is!
Law: You know these kids, Luffy?
Maple: We haven't actually met, but we know OF him. (She relaxes a bit, but is still holding Fritter's hand as she walks up to Luffy and holds out her other hand in greeting) We're Katakuri's children. Um...we first saw you when you ruined Aunt Pudding's wedding and caused our Grandma to have a mental breakdown, but I doubt you noticed us during all of that.
Luffy: Ohhh! I didn't know Katakuri had kids. Huh, you even have his mouth marks. (He shakes Maple's hand.)
Dochi: Also, we don't blame you for all that either! I mean, we were mad at first. But then Papa told us you did it to save Sanji. So wait, are these guys part of your crew too? (She glances at Zoro, Law, and Kiku)
Ube: Oh, whoops. (He smiles sheepishly at Zoro) Sorry for threatening to kill you, mister. We thought you were a crazy killer or something, but if you're with Luffy then you can't be too bad.
Kiku: Wait, what are you all doing here in Wano? And why are you by yourselves?
Vanilla: Oh! Dochi and Ube stole mama's magic scissors and made a portal, 'cause they wanted to meet up with our aunties and uncles and grandma here. But then Maple saw us and tried to take them back, and then the portal ripped, and we all fell through it and now we're here!
Kiku: That...isn't what I expected.
Law: Wait, your grandmother...Big Mom's already in Wano?
Maple: That's--um, confidential. We can't reveal where our family is to another pirate crew. (She looks sternly at Vanilla, who pouts.)
Vanilla: Yeah, but they're friends with Luffy! And Luffy is Papa's friend, so we won't be called traitors if we tell them, right?
Law: We're ALLIES, not friends.
Vanilla: Huh? Aren't those the same thing?
Luffy: Yeah! We're friends, Law.
Law: I don't want to have this conversation again...So. You five are lost in Wano, and nobody in your family knows that you're here.
Dochi: Mama and Papa probably know by now. Papa's got really good Observation Haki, and Mama knows how to use magic, so they should've figured out we're gone and where we are. They'd probably want us to stick with Luffy, since he's Papa's friend; we dunno where our aunts and uncles are, so he's the only grown-up we know that we can trust here.
Ube: OH! Let's be allies! Me and Dochi can fight, Maple's the best of us at magic, 'Nilla is good with healing spells and knows some stuff about medicine, and...um, Fritter's a really good cook! I mean, he's 7, and he's really good for a 7 year old.
Luffy: Hmm...Alright!
Maple: This is NOT going to go over well if our family finds out. Look, if we're really going to be allies, we need you to keep this a secret from them. The only one who wouldn't call us traitors for this are Mama and Papa, and Big Mom would KILL us if she found out we were allies with you of all people. Um, no offense.
Luffy: No problem! I'm pretty good at keeping secrets.
Law: You're joking. Please tell me you're joking.
Kiku: I admit, I normally wouldn't approve of involving children in this. But...we can't just leave them on their own.
Ube: Plus, we wouldn't take no for an answer and we'd just follow you guys anyway. My mom says we're "tenacious to a fault."
Law: You'll fit right in with Luffy, then.
Luffy: Hey, since you guys got here before us, have you seen some of our other friends? A guy named Kin'emon, a kid named Momonosuke...
Maple: (frowns) Wait...you mean...them? (She points to the gravestones.)
