me too!! you can tell that they were having such a fun time filming these with all the carat interactions .. honestly just the sweetest people 🥺🥺 grab me a tissue pls

anytime carats and evelyn see each other in real life, it’s so wholesome and pure. it basically becomes a compliment battle between the two with evelyn leaving everyone giggling and squealing with excitement.

As much as Mingyu fought for her to be in his group, she ended up joining the oldest member’s group!

Instead of the cameraman sitting in the passenger seat, Evelyn had a hold of a mini camcorder and declared it as the ‘Evie Cam’ and would film the members and ask questions to pass the time as Jeonghan drove

Girlie was HUSTLING up the rock wall on the first try… she DID NOT want to pay for their meal later nor did she want to be last

While waiting for Jun to come back from retrieving the drinks, Seungcheol threw his arms around her shoulders and laid most of his body weight on her.

For the hand holding part of the episode, both pairs wanted to hold her hand so Jeonghan and Jun ended up playing rock, paper, scissors to determine which pair she went with [Seungcheol and Jeonghan ended up winning]

When the group of girls running suggested that they run with them, Evelyn was bouncing on her toes ready to go. If they had time to spare, she could’ve ran the rest of the time.

Evelyn offered to eat a pepper with Joshua so he wouldn’t feel alone after losing rock, paper, scissors. The face that she had made afterwards became a meme for carats and was used everywhere.

Hey boop! It's that time again of checking up on you and seeing how things are😅

I just saw your post about the HDWGH era here and it brought back so many memories.

It truly was an incredible time here and this little family that we created was a safe space for me, and interacting with you all brought me so much joy🌸

I sat in my room and waited for jacks video to be uploaded (I kept refreshing the page, lol) so that after we could all discuss and make memes about it and just have fun.

I have left the community here on tumblr a few years ago due to school and very important exams that would determine if I would get into the university of my choice (I did it, art school woo!!) so studying took up a lot of my time, and not having been active for so long made me feel kind of disconnected from everyone and I felt like I was back to zero. But I knew that all the amazing memories we all shared together would always be with me forever.

Sometimes I have the urge to log back into my old jse account and talk to everyone again, but since so much time has passed I feel like it would not be pleasant for you guys😅

I am so glad to have been there with you when you first opened up your etsy store, and I am more thrilled to have bought one of your first pieces that I see on my wall right now, the place it never left since :))

Aahhh this is literally why I need to learn to draw, most of the time Picrew can't do them justice!! But I do my best and I'm happy with what I can do

This is Avery (he/him preferred but any pronouns that aren't she/her are okay), the sleep-deprived punk of the group (it is very hard to make a visible punk on Picrew so you have to trust me on this one, like in my head he cannot wear an outfit that doesn't have at least a couple patches on it). Half-Argentinian, half-USAmerican (you should assume all my OCs are Argentinian unless specifically stated otherwise). Looks like a very unapproachable person but is actually super thoughtful and kind even to strangers... though he does have a very quick temper, so he at least tries his best. His scars are from frequently getting into fights, which doesn't help at all. Most likely to get in trouble for the most insignificant stuff, will fuck things up on purpose. Despite all this, Avril Lavigne is one of his top artists on Spotify

Nadia (she/her) was one of my first OCs from the ones I'll be talking about in this post, and she's changed a lot but at the same time she's remained exactly the same so whenever I think about her I always get so 🥺 A very sweet and kind girl, but also a meme expert. She's usually the one in charge of making the memes for the friend group, not that she minds. Very easy to get along and make friends with her, but good luck getting to read any of her writing (wants to become a writer, doesn't show her writing to anyone. Perfectionism will do that to you). I did make another Picrew like the first one I showed for Avery since I usually make a Picrew like that for every one of my OCs, but I can never get her to look quite right in it, so I decided to just show this one, since it's extremely accurate to how I picture her in my head

Luka (he/him) is the social butterfly of the group and the one that lacks all the braincells. Very passionate about his hobbies and interests (all musical interests, mainly, like singing and playing instruments), also very passionate about climbing the most unclimbable trees (yes, he does end up falling off of them a lot). Pretty hyperactive and easily bored, so he's always looking for something to do. Absolutely cannot stay still, except for when the hyperfixation hits. He can be very clueless and sometimes a bit tactless, but at the end of the day he'll be one of your best friends and genuinely cares a lot about you. Oh, also, French. Sorry.

Felix (he/him) is the opposite of a social butterfly, would much rather stay at home and lie about all day than interact with new people. Which is why people don't believe he's Luka's best friend. A bit quiet at first, but once you get to know him, if you can engage conversation in a topic he likes, he'll talk and talk for hours on end. So if you actually want to know how bees are able to fly, just ask him, and be willing to sit there and listen for an hour, he'll be too excited to stop once he starts. Also really into mushrooms (because I needed to give that interest to an OC too) and Spider-Man, he forced absolutely everyone he knows to watch all the movies because "we can't be friends if you don't like even one of the movies"

Ximena (pronounced hee-meh-nah) (they/them), aka the funky earrings lesbian of the group. This is another case of the Picrew not being good enough to portray them. I mean, the stickers and hairpins are accurate, but Ximena is the type to wear very bright colors and to dress in mainly rainbows with thousands of accessories at a time (think like a mix of kidcore and rainbow with decora influences, that's them). Absolutely stim machine, which actually makes them a really good companion to Luka. And like Luka, they are incapable of speaking at a low volume. Adores their friends and constantly goes out of their way to do things with/for them. If you're their friend you will end up with at least five friendship bracelets they made for you, and you better save every single one of them. Very optimistic and intelligent, wants to become a scientist in the future

And this is Claudia! (She/her) It's pretty hard to make alt people in Picrews as I've confirmed multiple times myself ;-; She's actually a goth! Has been dressing as such since very little. She's a very blunt and honest person, which makes a lot of people think she's rude. She's not rude for being completely monotone and never lying, she's rude because insulting people is her passion! Not a single person is safe from her hateful remarks. So, basically, the definition of a mean lesbian. Luka usually ends up being the victim of most of her remarks, and no one knows if it's because she's really fond of him or if she genuinely hates him, and oh my god why have I mentioned Luka so many times in this post, he isn't even my favorite. Anyways, Claudia is also a piercings enthusiast, and though she hates other people touching her, she absolutely loves styling other people's hair. She also dabbles in drawing. She's extremely perceptive, and all her friends are really glad to be her friends

And because you said you liked her, here's Ciara! (She/they) She's one of my newest OCs so I'm still developing them, but they go back and forth between lovecore outfits and pastel punk outfits, they are incapable of wearing an outfit that doesn't have at least a little pink. Seems like a cinnamon roll but is actually very foul-mouthed and has a bit of a temper. They are nice, they just find it fun to not be nice sometimes. Half-Irish, half-Argentinian. Huge metalhead, it's the genre she listens to the most and she doesn't listen to a lot of music outside of it. And like I said before, Claudia's girlfriend

Okay that's it, I've been at this for an hour. And I've done all of this without talking about Andrea, Felix's dads and their best friend, Avery's neighborhood friends, his sister, Nadia's sister, Ximena's siblings or my fantasy OCs. I think that's the biggest intro I've made for my OCs in one sitting! I decided to only mention the main ones (except for Ciara, I made a special mention for her since you said you liked her tag)

So I hope you enjoyed that! Because I did! And again thank youuu so so so so so much for the ask! I love getting to talk about my OCs, even if I've been getting to do it more often lately it stills always gets me so happy and excited (blorbos from my head I guess). 1. Why did you choose your url?

I didn’t want something specific to a fandom bc i am fickle af when it comes to my interests lol, I burn through them so easily and although I still love them afterwards, not enough to have a blog name related to them. I wanted something general but that sounded pretty, so after some thinking midnightanddiamonds was born!

2. Any side blogs?

I have one that I used specifically for my video edits, but I haven’t updated it in a while. I have another that I created with two of my friends at college, which was purely just to prank one of our teachers at the end of the year with Pepe the Frog memes lmao.

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

March 2013, so just over 8 years! What a ride it’s been 😂

4. Do you have a queue tag?

Nope! To be honest I never figured out how to really use it, and I also just have no desire to be consistent lol. I like having fits and bursts of activity!

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I had no one to really talk to about the things I loved, no one who super understood them at least, so when I found Tumblr I realised I’d finally found my groups of common interest! I wanted to interact with people who loved the same things I did 😊

6. Why did you choose your icon?

My friend Ginel drew it as part of a larger piece of gift art for me! She renders me beautifully in her style, just as she does for every single thing she ever draws because she is incredible 🥺

7. Why did you choose your header?

Diana Burnwood is a queen of my heart, and seeing her finally exist within a Hitman level rather than just cutscenes made me really excited and emotional. I wanted to reflect that on my blog! Plus, it’s just an absolutely gorgeous shot!

8. What's your post with the most notes?

A gif set from the Halo Infinite E3 2019 teaser footage - Discover Hope (which my blog is still named for!) It has almost 1,500 notes 🙌

9. How many mutuals/followers do you have?

Not sure on the mutuals, probably quite a few bc when I first started I made the mistake of just following everyone who followed me lol, but follower total is 907!

I mean... Who hasn’t? 😂

Everyday in varying amounts!

13. Did you have a fight/argument with another blog? Who won?

Not a fight or argument exactly, more tension within a specific fandom bc the more prevalent blogs were being really biphobic about the ship we all shared. It all came to a climax after some some posts were made on both sides - nothing super specific person vs person wise - but my friend and I came to realise it was hurting us more than we thought. So in the end, we just left the fandom and never went back (despite the fact that we basically CREATED that fandom). We still love the ship and the overall text it’s from, we just enjoy it much more now that we keep it to just our little friendship group 💕

14. How do you feel about "you need to reblog this" posts?

I appreciate that people want topics to be more widely known/discussed, but there are better ways to go about it than using guilt-tripping language.

15. Do you like tag/ask games?

Yes! It’s always so special when I get tagged, although I have an awful habit of forgetting to actually do them 😂

16. Which of your mutuals do you think are Tumblr famous?

Somehow the biggest blog in the Hitman fandom followed me back, I have no idea why they did lmao, but it was such a great moment. I was so surprised 😂
