A series of small doodles I did last month of Anetta and Enzan Ijuuin (or Chaud Blaze for those of you who grew up on the dub like me) because I remembered Megaman Battle Network/ Megaman NT Warrior existed. Expressions came from a meme from @abisalli that I did for fun.

YES! Finally anime dream! And its another Rockman EXE episode(s) that only plays in select theaters called My Dreams OwO

Lan and Megaman are at sea trying to stop some ship for . . . I don’t know exactly why. They just have to stop it from getting away. Raika and Searchman are here to assist. Searchman apparently doesn’t like sailing because his legs are made for solid ground. He can’t do normal attacks let alone walk straight! Because Lan’s losing, Raika calls in an air strike and nopes everyone out of there. Searchman barely waddles back, and I swear Raika made fun of him for that. XXXD

Can’t tell if this is a separate episode or not so I’ll count it as different. Featured villain is Plantman and he has a new ability. Remember when he could trap navis in his vines and use their power to feed his vegetation in the anime? . . . It got upgraded to using humans as a power source. It caught Chaud and he can’t do anything because most of his energy is gone. Plantman got so high on power, he turned on his game canon operator Anetta and drained her energy too. No word if someone rescued them. XP

I have waited three days for someone to ask this.Favorite thing about them: He is such a mood. He is so annoyed and tired of everyones crap. Also his design? He looks illegaly cute! I also love how they wrote his relationship with his NetNavi - most series like Exe make the troubled rival boy cold even to their partner, but Exe makes it clear that Enzans and Blues' bond is just as strong as the bond Friendship is Magic™ main characters Netto and Rockman share.Least favorite thing about them: How poorly his character was executed. He had so much potential and so much personality and story to explore, but Exe decided to plainly ignore character development. Favorite line: "Our strength is our bond" is simple but so cute and strong.BROTP: Netto and Blues,OTP: Also Blues. They're. Everything. Brotp and otp. Now and forever. Even death can't seize my love for them. Other characters I ship with him are Anetta and Rockman/Saito.NOTP: YAITOUnpopular opinion: Enzan is NOT rude and uncaring actualy. For the last set of background scenery from my latest batch of EXE settei, this is a bunch of one-off episode pics. So I won’t be doing the full abbreviated episode recap for each, but I’ll still provide some screencaps from the DVDs, showing where these concepts were used in the show. 

First up is a big military tanker ship from Axess Ep. 27. Basically it was a trap that Laserman/Shademan had set up, after kidnapping Anetta and luring Enzan and Netto onto it. The whole thing was essentially enclosed in a dimensional area the whole time, after the Net Saviors crash-landed on it, and was where most of that episode took place.

Settei 2 comes from Axess 31, and it’s the supposed hot springs complex where Mariko-sensei and the kids are planning to visit, only to find out the hard way it’s a secret Ayanokoji deathtrap passage leading to Yai’s underground rocket hanger. 

Once the crew survives their scary ride, they meet Yai, who reveals they’re heading to outer space to eat at BooBies! 

Or a similar fine dining restaurant spacestation housing Junkman, that happens to have some, um...resemblance to both male and female body parts at different angles, all mashed up into one. It’s a dandy spacestation...in space. 

Settei 3 is a rare colored concept of the plane Manabe and Netto took to Sharo in Episode 40. The same design gets recycled in other episodes where long-distance travel is required, too. 

The fourth concept is the senior home from Ep. 43, where sensei Netto teaches the old folks how to Net-battle, before getting challenged by TOP MEN. 

TOP...MEN. 

Number 5 is the bridge from the climactic, highly-emotional sister drama episode of Axess 48. Where Yuriko first uses Cross Fusion after being ordered by Regal to kill her sister, only to have Dark Blues send both Misaki and herself off to their watery graves. I still get choked up watching that scene. Shut up, I do! ;p

Settei 6 moves onto Stream, and this one is from Ep. 26. It’s Sharo’s Cross Fusion laboratory and it’s dimensional generator. It was under construction when Pride came to visit, and Laika gave her a tour, before Asteroid Airman and his “Can’t Defeat Millions of Airman Clones” started destroying it.

And finally, the last settei comes from Stream 32. I think I’ve scanned this one before, when it was used at the end of the series. But if not, it’s the Space-time tower control room, which in 32 was where Netto had to send the vaccine chip into the past to cure Rockman, who was essentially Dark Rockman, after being bit by chimera Shademan (when he took Beastman and Flashman’s arms for himself), but before Dark Rockman’s essence drained out of the holes in Rock’s neck to become an actual separate evil being. Yeah, that was a pretty messed up description to write! LOL But that’s why EXE was so great.

Soma is made with "ex-body" materials like human bones, used breast implants, urine (in plaster). The selected individual elements are connected through the human body and at the same time they are temporal transgression (old archaeological remnants of humans, modern artificial implants, fresh urine). Here they are combined with a gabion mesh into a hybrid body. This second hand body is referring to a prosthetic body, a cyborg like E. A. Poe’s John A. B. C. Smith from “The Man That Was Used Up”. On the other hand it can be seen as a skeleton of a material avatar, the mineral matter and the metal structure of automated companions of the present or a bionic creature of the future.

Az OFF-Biennálé Budapest bemutatja: GAUDIOPOLIS 2017

2017. szeptember 29. – november 5. Budapest, Dunaújváros, Eger, Nagyatád, Nagykanizsa és Pécs

2017 őszén nyílik meg, immáron második alkalommal, az OFF-Biennále Budapest, Magyarország legnagyobb civil, független művészeti kezdeményezése. Az idei kiadás címe Gaudiopolis 2017.

Az OFF-Biennále, a kortárs művészeti biennálék közül egyedülálló módon alulról szerveződve, hálózatosan működik, művészek, alkotócsoportok, kurátorok, galériások és műgyűjtők együttműködésében valósul meg. Az OFF célja, hogy a képzőművészet eszközeivel részt vegyen a közügyekről való társadalmi párbeszédben és a demokrácia kultúráját erősítse. A magyar független képzőművészeti színtér alapjainak újraépítését szorgalmazza, melynek pénzügyi és infrastrukturális hátterét évtizedek óta szinte kizárólag állami források jelentették. Ez a függőség nagyban meghatározta a kortárs színtér működését. Az állami források elosztása nem átlátható módon, számos esetben a szakmai szempontok figyelmen kívül hagyásával zajlik, és gyakran a politikai akarat leképezésére szolgál. Ezért az OFF-Biennále nem pályázik magyar állami forrásokra és kívül marad az állam művészeti intézményein.

2017-ben az OFF-Biennále több mint negyven projektet mutat majd be Budapesten és több más magyar városban. Nem csak művészeti galériákban, hanem műtermekben, használaton kívüli ingatlanokban, magánlakásokban, alternatív színházakban és a köztéren is találkozni lehet majd az OFF programjaival.

Gaudiopolis 2017 – Az öröm városa

Az OFF-Biennále 2017 megrendezéséhez olyan kerettémát választottunk, amely lehetővé teszi, hogy a jelent és a jövőt egyaránt meghatározó, húsba vágó és izgalmas kérdésekkel foglalkozzunk, és hogy a várost többféle módon birtokba véve felfedezzük a művészet felszabadító és változást hozó erejét.

Gaudiopolis, az „öröm városa” egy gyermekköztársaság volt, melyet Sztehlo Gábor evangélikus lelkész alapított a második világháborút követően Budapesten. Árvaháza vallásra, társadalmi hovatartozásra és nemzetiségre való tekintet nélkül több száz gyereknek adott otthont, akik a háborúban elvesztették szüleiket, otthonukat. Az „öröm városának” gyermek lakói saját kormányzatot hoztak létre, képviselőket választottak maguk közül, és mindenkire (a tanárokra is) vonatkozó törvényeket hoztak. Noha kis mértékű állami segítséget is igénybe vettek, Gaudiopolis független intézményként működött 1950-ben bekövetkezett államosításáig.

Gaudiopolis története ma is aktuális: az egymás iránti bizalom, a nagylelkűség, a felelősségvállalás és a törődés mini-köztársasága inspirálta az OFF-Biennále projektjeit, és azt a saját működésmódunk szempontjából is példaadónak érezzük. Bár Európába a háborús tragédiák ma elsősorban a menekültek beszámolói és a médiatudósítások által jutnak el, szűkebb és tágabb környezetünket ismét politikai és társadalmi krízisek jellemzik. Újra kell tehát gondolnunk az egyéni kiállás, az oktatás, a közösségépítés és a demokrácia fenntartásának összefüggéseit, és hogy mi lehet a szerepük ebben a gyerekeknek, a játéknak, az örömnek – és a művészetnek.

Nicht nur Angela Merkel, im SED-Staat linientreu als Propaganda-Sekretärin der FDJ tätig, beweist, dass man mit schändlichem Hintergrund Karriere machen kann in der BRD. Die von der STASI-Mitarbeiterin Kahane verklagte AfD-Politikerin Dr. Alice Weidel fragte, mit welchem Recht sich eine Ex-Stasi Mitarbeiterin aufschwinge die in der Vergangenheit für eine Diktatur gespitzelt hat, erneut unliebsame Meinungsäußerungen zensieren zu wollen?
