ALRIGHT, FAM. LET’S START THIS THING OFF WITH MR. HUBERT DUCK. 

@briilliance writes such a lovely Huey. They are so good at nailing down his dialogue and the way he loves and cares for his brothers while still being a Little Shit himself. I can always hear Huey’s voice in their writing and you can really tell how much Alex loves Huey and I love that for Alex! Alex is also one of the people I have known the longest on this hellsite and I treasure our friendship with all my heart!!!

@tunnagan has made me feel things about Huey and I cry about this little red duckling on the daily. We do a lot on discord that hasn’t reached tumblr but basically the development Bex has given to Huey is SO GOOD, like ... I adore this baby boy baby. 

@dollhousemuses has a wonderful Huey as well, and I would die for the Fluffy Boi!!! Doll has put so much into Huey and I get super excited any time they talk about him bc you can tell how much Doll loves him and it is adorable.

@familymade I love love love LOVE LOVE Aelin’s Dewey so much!!! When they first started writing him in our discord server I was just immediately blown away at how they seemed to just nail down how Dewey is. They dewey it fantastically. We love and cherish Aelin’s Dewey in this house. That is son shaped! 

@calvinsmuses Another amazing Dewey who is just full of love and just thinks dads are neat. The chaos is real and I get so excited every time Calvin puts Dewey on the dash, that is the Good Kush.

@voidfcllen y’all... I love Zak with all my gay little heart. She understands Louie like nothing I’ve ever seen and we’ve done so much in the way of developing his relationship with Della. We’ve worked out so much with the two of them and I always look forward to when I get to write with Zak. They’re also just an amazing friend and I wouldn’t trade her for the w o r l d. 

@decanard Lexi’s Louie is literally so adorable and they have so many different au’s, it’s WILD and I love seeing every single one of them on my dash. I’m always just waiting with some popcorn whenever Lexi posts and they’re so much fun to talk to!! They’re so FULL of ideas and it excites me whenever I get a message saying ‘so I have an idea’ even if it also gives me Fear. Anyway, I love Lexi.

But, anyway onto Dewey; Hari’s Dewey is one of the very first Dewey’s I interacted with, so he is very very special to me anD LOUIE!!!! A BABY BOY BABY!!! character in general: I will admit that starting out I was not the biggest fan of Della Duck. But Ash’s portrayal has changed my mind. This lady is one of the strongest people ever and I admire her very much. She deserves all the good things

how they play them: Show Della who? I know only this one. Ash brings so much love and realism to Della and makes those around her love this duck twin too. It’s inspiring.

Gyro, 

               First of all, I hate you. You think you’re so funny don’t you? Black licorice flavored gum? Disgusting. I can admit though... That would’ve been really funny if not for stupid circumstances. I can’t wait til I get back so I can hit you for this. Anyway, I was thinking about you today, so I thought I’d write this letter instead of recording a transmission. I don’t think those are going through anyway... But still. I like to record them. It’s nice to at least pretend that I’m getting through to everyone. 

            I hope you’re proud of me by the way. I’m teaching myself literal rocket science. You know?? It’s actually kinda fun! Super difficult, but I’m managing. Anything to get home to see my kids. Maybe we can talk about it when I get back! It’ll be fun to be able to contribute to the conversations. At least a little. 

            Anyway, not that you’re gonna see this letter, but uh, I kinda miss you. Gross. You’re a dumb jerk. But you’re also my best friend so I guess I kinda care about you.                Black,   whispy   portals   opening   in   the   City   Square   of   Halloween   Town   weren’t   normal.   In   fact,   that   was   farthest   from   what   this   place   called   normal.   However,   it   seemed   no   one   paid   any   attention   as   the   tall,   thin   scientist   walked   out.   Grey   shirt   fitting   in   nicely   to   the   scenery,   it   was   the   green   hoodie   around   his   waist   that   made   him   really   stand   out.   

               Stepping   out   in   front   of   Lena,   he   just   gave   a   proud   smile-   no.   Pride   wasn’t   what   was   on   his   face;   the   expression   on   his   beak   was   much   more   akin   to   hubris.   Cocky,   narcissistic   hubris.   Of   course   it   was.   He   was   able   to   actually   DO   something   now.   This   changed   the   entire   game.   Taking   a   few   steps   towards   Lena,   he   put   his   hands   on   his   hips   as   Lil   Bulb   sat   on   his   shoulder,   waving   at   his   new   sister.

            Amity recognized Luz’s voice  pretty  much  immediately.  Still,  she  took  a  moment  before  turning  to  face  her.  She  didn’t  want  to  seem  too  eager.  Oh  no.  Luz  had  gotten  something  for  her?  Amity  could  feel  the  blush  rising  on  her  cheeks;  she  knew  it  was  noticeable.  Her  eyes  linger  on  the  flower  crown  for  a  bit  too  long  before  she  finally  took  it  from  her.
