993: Bags Meets Wes!

This is such a pleasant and relaxing album. I should already know this one, and I do know some tracks, but taking a ride all the way through was truly time well spent. The combination of guitar and vibes by 2 of the best jazz players to play it is mesmerizing and just ... nice.

Edgar Lavender X Hudson - A Demon Dude

Edgar = grumpy human science guy with a caffine addiction

Hudson = a demon that's nicer than his human, energetic and goofy

VV Short Comic Script Of How They Met VV

Frame 1 = the scientists gather around a large circle with ritualistic iteams everywhere, each one looking at a computer screen or taking notes, some of them actually working on the ritual itself Frame 2 = Edgar sips his coffee, watching the meters and computer reads coming from the machine, he keeps an eye on the purple circle as the readings jump up in activity “Getting some.. Interesting things here” says Edgar Frame 3 = Another scientist with long black hair looks at the screen too, he nods and writes on a piece of paper Frame 4 = the room turns to a bright purple from the circle fuming with amazing glow Frame 5 = Edgar stands up, dropping his coffee cup Frame 6 = as his coffee mug breaks on the floor, all the lights turn off and are replaced with the bright purple light Frame 7 = all 10 scientists are collected around the glowing circle, watching with curious eyes Frame 8 = Edgar takes a few steps back, something doesn’t feel right.. Frame 9 = the purple light becomes very bright before a black horned figure walks out of the circle, eyes filled black, teeth bare as the creature stands up and stretches Frame 10 = the monster reaches up and stretches, revealing his 4 arms covered in muscle and strange skin, horns crooked upward- making them appear even more intimidating as the creature glares down Frame 11 = a dark laugh grumbles from it’s throat as he throws his 4 arms in unison downwards at the ground- purple sparkes seem to shoot out and slice 5 scientists in half as he steps thru, the floor shaking and breaking under each heavy step. Frame 12 = blood shoots up onto the cieling, walls and pools on the floor around them. The other scientists run in fear and Edgar stands still in place, not sure what else to do. Watching the wrecked fall across the scene infront of him Frame 13 = Edgar stands still in aw as 3 more scientists get shredded from the purple sparks, their body parts flying past him, blood going everywhere- filling the room with it’s dark stench Frame 14 = Now only 2 scientists are left- Edgar and the man with the long black hair. The other one cawls away in fear before the demon snatches him up by his ankle, glaring into his soul with their cold dead eyes Frame 15 = The man screams in horror before his face turns into a bloody faucet Frame 16 = The creature smiles and tosess the body to the side Frame 17 = it smiles cruelly, it’s back crunching back into order as it stands up tall above Edgar, looking down at the small human infront of him Frame 18 = Edgar simply stares back, blank faced- feeling as though he’s frozen in time Frame 19 = The demon hunches down infront of Edgar, it’s four large arms stretched out on either side as he fixes his dark eyes onto Edgar’s- staring into the soul, searching for pain, a luxurious way of death for the pitiful human infornt of him Frame 20 = The demon waits in a locked stare, waiting for it to happen- Frame 21 = waiting for anything.. To happen- Frame 22 = the creature snarls and speaks, still locked into the human’s eyes “Why won’t you die?” Frame 23 = Edgar simply shrugs “I’m already dead on the inside- haha” Frame 24 = the demon stares back at Edgar in awe and unsure of what to do next Frame 25 = “You’re a.. Strange human” Frame 26 = “I’ve heard that a lot- anyway, i better get off the grid now, the police will assume I’ve done this” Frame 27 = The demon crooks his head to the side while he watches Edgar take off his bloody lab coat and starts to head outside, casually as if nothing has happened Frame 28 = The demon follows out of curiosity- besides, where else was he gonna go? He can’t go back to where he came from until he’s killed all the ones involved in the rituals, afterall. And for once, Hudson debates on not killing this one- hm.
