Luke and Artoo’s bond makes me absolutely ache. I can barely comprehend the significance that he was Anakin’s most loyal best friend and now, an entire lifetime apart, he’s Luke’s. Artoo is the strongest connection he has to his father and he doesn’t even know it. How much love Artoo has for both of them. How much he protects both boys. Not just by physically helping them out in battle, but being someone they both rely on, talk to and confide in exactly the same way so many years apart. Makes me insane. How much Artoo has seen by their side and how much he means to them and how much they mean to him.

I’m so happy that there is such care and attention taken in every scene with them throughout this comic. Both big and little interactions, just everything shows-not-tells how much they mean to eachother. Just a boy and his droid.

something about this dialogue hits so hard for me. obi-wan is a very black & white thinker, he struggles to deal in grey areas. ”never assume your friends are above wrongdoing” and “good people can make terrible mistakes” is a difficult concept for obi-wan to grasp as a young padawan. the fact that good people can do bad things is not something he has considered deeply or even fully comprehends when qui-gon teaches him this. it’s evident in the way obi-wan holds himself to such an unforgiving standard, too. in his mind there’s no room for him to make mistakes, the teachings he has internalised are that to be a Good person you have to Always Be Good in every thought, action etc. and that everyone is divided into the two categories of Good Person and Bad Person. idk i need to read more from his pov immediately
