This little dude is only 15cm tall, and he got the full spa treatment. He received a faceup, body blushing, and even some modded hair.

He is a Granado 15Ascent Ninth without inset eyes. I also sculpted his hair directly onto the head as it is a solid piece (the head attaches to the body through a peg) with apoxie sculpt.

We went for a long walk in the park, and then took the subway to Ninth Street. I remember saying, "Oh, I love this part of New York." And he said brusquely, "No kidding. Everyone loves this part of New York. It's the highest rent per square foot." That shut me up for at least a couple of minutes. For some reason, the experience really stayed with me. I realize now, the older you get, the harder it is to be impressed because people make you feel ashamed of being impressed by anything at all. I keep many glowing remarks to myself for this.

Conor Benn Goes all 10 rounds Against Rodolfo Orozco in Return to the Ring

ORLANDO, FL - At the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, FL, the long-awaited return of former welterweight contender Conor Benn (22-0, 14 KOS) took place in a scheduled 10-round junior middleweight contest.

The Essex, UK fighter’s opponent, was the younger and taller Rodolfo Orozco (32-4-3, 24 KOs) out of Mexico, fighting for the first time outside his native country.

Orozco provided Benn with a stern challenge, never letting up on his opponent, keeping him busy through all 10 rounds. Benn was able to land the more brutal and cleaner punches on his opponent, but only a handful of times did Orozco look hurt. Whenever Benn connected with any blow, Orozco was right back in front of him to return fire.

In the ninth and tenth rounds, Benn’s punches finally affected Orozco, easing his intensity in firing back. Benn would land some highlight reel pot shots on Orozco. But nothing he did was enough to put down his Mexican opponent, who looked determined to go the distance and not fall.

It would prove to be an exhaustive but necessary fight for Benn as it would only serve to help him in the long run. The UK fighter hasn’t gone 10 rounds in two years since he faced Adrian Granados in September 2021.

Benn would be awarded the unanimous decision victory. All three judges had the bout in his favor with two scores of 99-91, and one judge saw a closer bout than most with a score of 96-94.

Benn has been out of the ring since April 2022, when he stopped Chris van Heerden in two rounds. He was scheduled to take on Chris Eubank Jr. in what would have been a modern version of the classic all-British battles between their fathers in the 1990s. However, Benn twice tested positive for the banned substance, Clomiphene.

Although seemingly suspended and unable to fight in the United Kingdom, Benn was able to secure a license in the state of Florida from the Florida Athletic Commission after he was removed from the national suspension list by the Association of Boxing Commissions.

After submitting negative drug tests and being out of the ring for 17 months, he was granted a license in Florida.

The question now surrounding Benn will be what he does next. Can he stay active in the United States, specifically in Florida? Will he remain at junior middleweight or move back down to welterweight? Wherever Benn goes, controversy will follow until the situation with the British Board of Control is over.

The last months I painted eight different heads for Granado :) Except for one of them, the drag queen inspired Barry head, all of them have been my choice. I'll post them in pairs to show off their faces and finished designs. And the last batch of heads, Shadow and Ninth! These two were a bit out of my comfort zone I gotta admit, simply because I'm not used to painting stylized heads like that anymore...or young faces. In the end I just went with something simple and pleasing...and that I could abuse for a little cosplay shot after the release of a certain movie. Ninth is supposed to be inspired by Shinji Ikari (+ freckles, just thought that looked cute), and Shadow by Kaworu Nagisa. Customization, photos and editing by me. Heads sculpted by Crocus/Granado.

Consejos básicos En las siguientes líneas veremos varios consejos acerca de cómo potenciar la paciencia que como padres y madres debemos tener en la crianza de los hijos. Trucos para que el enfado y el estrés no saboteen tus planes para criar y educar. **En primer lugar veremos aquellos que se aplican sobre todo cuando los pequeños de la casa son niños pequeños**, y en segundo lugar veremos qué hacer cuando los hijos e hijas son adolescentes. ### Ser más pacientes con los niños de la familia La infancia es la etapa que va desde el nacimiento hasta aproximadamente los 11 años de edad. Veamos de qué manera podemos **utilizar técnicas psicológicas para regular nuestras emociones** y tener más paciencia con los pequeños ante sus comportamientos inadecuados. #### 1. Tener claro que lo normal es transgredir normas Nadie nace con la inercia de cumplir todas las normas habituales en un contexto social (como las que hay en tu casa o en cualquier familia, por ejemplo). Romper las reglas, para los niños, es lo normal, y no la excepción. **Tener esto claro es importante para evitar frustrarnos** cuando los planes no salen como queríamos a causa de conductas aparentemente irracionales por parte de los más pequeños de la casa. #### 2. Descansa antes de las situaciones potencialmente conflictivas No olvides nunca que como ser humano, tienes emociones. Por eso, no pretendas suprimirlas siempre; simplemente, juega tus cartas para que estas vayan a tu favor, y no en tu contra. En este sentido, **saber utilizar estratégicamente pequeñas pausas para descansar es muy útil**. Por ejemplo, si te han llamado de la escuela de tu hijo para decirte que se ha portado mal, considera la posibilidad de descansar durante unos minutos antes de ir a casa, donde te espera, en vez de salir del trabajo y llegar a tu hogar con todo el cansancio acumulado. #### 3. Asegúrate de que das instrucciones claras y sencillas Ser claro y transparente en lo que se dice es muy importante para no generar situaciones ambiguas en las que sea muy fácil que tus hijos o hijas transgredan las normas. No debes olvidar que como persona adulta **debes crear situaciones en las que les sea fácil comportarse de una manera adecuada**. Por ejemplo, establece objetivos claros y divididos en varias sub-tareas sencillas, en vez de transmitir una obligación "en bloque" expresada de manera muy abstracta y aparentemente complicada de cumplir. No es lo mismo decir "haz ahora la mitad de los ejercicios" de hoy que decir "haz siempre los deberes que te mandan en la escuela". Esta tarea de crear contextos en los que sea fácil portarse bien en vez de dar órdenes y esperar que las cumplan puede parecer una obligación extra que conlleva más trabajo, pero en realidad, si lo haces, **te estarás ahorrando muchos esfuerzos innecesarios** y como consiguiente será más fácil que terminen con tu paciencia. Te cansarás menos. #### 4. Desarrolla Inteligencia Emocional Este es uno de los consejos para tener más paciencia con tus hijos que funciona tanto si estos son niños como si son adolescentes, y es muy importante. Gracias a la Inteligencia Emocional somos capaces de **identificar estados emocionales y regularlos para que se adapten a tus objetivos**. Para ello existen muchos cursos y talleres de Inteligencia Emocional que te pueden servir, aunque también hay técnicas relativamente que te pueden servir sin haber recibido una formación especial. Por ejemplo, acostúmbrate a adoptar una perspectiva distanciada cuando sientas que la situación con tus hijos te supera, de manera que tu enfado hacia ellos no sea un obstáculo. Cuida tu salud El estado mental no está desligado del estado físico. Eso hace que a veces **la rebeldía y la transgresión de normas sociales básicas** pasen a ser no solo algo deseable por ser una vía hacia la gratificación instantánea (hacer lo que se quiera aunque perjudique a otros), sino además un valor positivo (algo que demuestra valentía e independencia, por ejemplo Así pues, es muy normal que muchas personas con hijos adolescentes se pregunten... No te caracterices como alguien que impone Es importante tener autoridad, pero no imponiendo tareas de manera unilateral sin darle a tu hijo o hija la oportunidad de decir lo que piensa de esas medidas. **Tómate en serio su criterio, independientemente de si está en lo correcto o no**, y si no tiene razón asegúrate de que comprenda el porqué. #### 2. Recuérdate que tu tarea es educar, no castigar Los castigos no son malos en todos los casos, pero solo deben aplicarse cuando realmente esté claro que no hay voluntad de colaborar, y siempre dejando claro por qué se aplican. Ninth win of 2023 in Catalunya for Alvaro Bautista

Championship leader Alvaro Bautista extended his lead with his Race 1 win, as he finished 8.864s ahead of Toprak Razgatlioglu. He now has 199 points in the standings. Toprak Razgatlioglu took second place, claiming his 91st podium and getting Yamaha closer to its 400th podium finish. Jonathan Rea was third in Race 1, just 0.063s behind Razgatlioglu. Andrea Locatelli was the best of the rest in fourth place, while Aegerter was fifth meaning there were three Yamaha riders in the top five. The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship’s opening race of the Prosecco DOC Catalunya Round at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was a dramatic affair as Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) claimed his fourth consecutive win in Barcelona to extend his Championship lead in Race 1, while there was a fierce battle for second with several riders at different points. The race was run over a 17-lap distance following a red flag on Lap 4 of the initial race, with Bautista winning the shortened race by 8.8 seconds. The race was red flagged on Lap 4 of 20 after an incident on the exit of Turn 11 and the entrance of Turn 12 involving Eric Granado (PETRONAS MIE Racing HONDA Team). The Brazilian rider was conscious and taken to the medical centre for a check-up following the crash. Granado was declared unfit following the crash with concussion and he was transported to hospital for further assessments. The riders took to the grid for the restarted race based on their positions at the last completed time-keeping point for each rider, meaning Bautista took the front row ahead of teammate Michael Ruben Rinaldi and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK).

The new race was restarted over a 17-lap distance with Bautista able to once again stay ahead from the front while his rivals squabbled behind him. Axel Bassani (Motocorsa Racing) moved from fifth to third, and then ahead of Rinaldi into second, before the factory Ducati barged his way through at Turn 3. They were still side by side through Turn 10 and into Turn 11. The pair made contact with Rinaldi retiring from the race and Bassani continuing; the incident was investigated by the FIM WorldSBK Stewards. Bassani was given a Long Lap Penalty for his role in the incident which he took instantly on Lap 6, dropping him from second to fifth. Bassani’s penalty promoted Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) into second and third place and the pair were battling it out for second place as Bautista pulled out a gap over Rea and Razgatlioglu. Razgatlioglu was consistently putting Rea under pressure but, despite the 2021 Champion looking to make a move into Turn 1, he made the move on the final lap at Turn 1 despite being massively out of shape in the braking zone. WorldSBK action resumes on Sunday from 09:00 (Local Time) with the Warm-Up, followed by Tissot Superpole Race at 11:00 and Race 2 at 14:00.
