Double Date?
Gruvia/Nalu drabble
Don’t you think Gray and Juvia have been getting a lot...closer lately?" Lucy questioned as she stared at the pair across the guild.
Juvia was blabbering away as Gray tried to look uninterested but nodded, confirming he was.
“It just seems like we haven’t heard from him in a while since he’s always around Juvia now. I wonder why that is.”Lucy hummed.
"I don't know, but whatever it is I'm glad it's keeping ice freak away. He'd stay away if he knew what was good for em'."Nastu grumbled out as he chomped on another chicken bone.
Lucy sighed. He just didn't get it. Lucy suspected the lack of Gray around was because him and Juvia were dating. All the clues pointed to it! After all, Gray and Juvia would always walk out the guild at the same time, and would even go on missions together. Of course he would still talk to her and Natsu, but he seemed different. He seemed...happier.
It was like he was a different person now. Like he would smile a lot more often. A genuine smile. And that might be because of love. What if Juvia and Gray were doing more than going on missions and walking home together? Lucy smiled as a mischievous idea popped in her head.
"Natsu, do you want to help me spy on Juvia and Gray to see if they are dating? Anything… even a kiss on the cheek will confirm my suspicions."
Natsu made a disgusted face as he swallowed his huge bite of chicken.
" Gray dating? No way! He wouldn't. He's too stubborn to ever date Juvia. Besides he's taking so long with Juvia, I wouldn't be surprised if her love faded away by now."Nastu snickered.
Lucy bopped him on the head with the Sorcerers' magazine she was reading earlier.
"You're lucky I didn't leave with how long you took! Everyone suggested I move on with my love for you because you were so oblivious!"
Lucy glared, shaking her head in disappointment.
Natsu growled as he glared back." How was I supposed to know you liked me when you're always hitting me!"Natsu retorted.
Lucy blushed and averted her eyes away from Nastu's gaze. She did always overreact a bit...she would have to get better with that.
" Anyway I think Juvia and Gray are dating, and I'm going to get proof. Are you in?" Lucy asked, still watching Gray and Juvia in the corner of her eye.
"I don't think they are dating. It will just be a waste of time!" Natsu frowned crossing his arm.
"How about...we make a bet on it? I will give you 100 jewels if I'm right, and you give me 100 if I'm right." Lucy suggested, with a smirk on her face.
Natsu thought about it for a second before giving his signature grin.
"You're on!"
Gray closed his eyes as he took a deep breath. He had hardly been listening to Juvia as he racked his brain for a way he could ask her out. Of course Juvia had always been the one to ask to go with him somewhere, but he had always agreed as friends. This time he wanted to ask her out himself. In a...romantic sense. Not as friends.
And he needed her to understand that after everything she had done for him, he would start taking her more seriously,as he promised. It already took him long enough to realize something very important. He loved all of Juvia. From the way she bit her upper lip when she was nervous, or how she cutely puffed out her cheeks when she was slightly annoyed, he finally understood that he really loved this woman.
She was selfless,confident, loving and everything about her was gorgeous. Something he had tried not to notice for a while. He had always turned a blind eye to it. He had constantly fought his feelings for her.
But he had to take this opportunity to claim her before she was taken away forever. He would never forgive himself if that were to happen. Gray had even decided on the place he would ask her to go. The aquarium. He knew Juvia would like it since she adored animals. Plus water. Like, duh.
He had been planning to ask her all day but he didn’t have enough courage. He knew she would say yes but it was...embarrassing. And he couldn't help but think of the worst possible scenario.
“ And then the puppy bit Juvia! But of course she couldn’t get mad because he was just too cute! So when-”
“Hey...uh, Juvia?”
“Huh? Oh,yes Gray~sama?”
Her gleaming sapphire eyes turned to look at him, and Gray felt his throat go dry. The nervousness grew in the pit of his stomach, eating him alive.
” Do you want to...go to the um...I mean-”
“Oh, Gray~sama an aquarium opened near the park! Did you want to go with Juvia?"
Gray’s mouth dropped open, but he quickly closed, determined to keep his cool.
"I mean there’s nothing else to do around here. Sure.”
Gray mentally face-palmed after he heard the words that flew out of his mouth. Why did he always have to make it seem like he was disinterested in everything?
As the pair got up to exit the guild, Lucy was silently following them with her eyes.
”Natsu! They’re leaving!! Let’s go!” Lucy excitedly shook the sleeping dragon slayer.
”Lucy stop- Alright I’m up geez!”
As Juvia and Gray walked down the cobblestone street toward their destination, Lucy and Natsu trailed behind. They occasionally hid behind a tree or bush they came across. She always had to pull Natsu down to hide with her,since he wasn't one for stealth.
Gray and Juvia finally came to the front of the building to pay for their tickets. Gray asked for 2 tickets and as Gray was about to pay, Juvia touched his forearm and gave him her sweetest smile.
" Don't worry Gray~sama. Juvia will pay for herself."
"But Juvia I can-"
"Gray~sama, it's fine."
She then handed the man some jewels she grabbed from her purse and collected her ticket. Gray sighed. The date was already not going the way he thought it would. That's if Juvia even knew it was a date. What if she didn't know it was a date, and thought it was just another friendly outing?
Gray internally moaned. Why did things have to be so hard when it came to Juvia? He had to tell her.
"Hey Juvia-"
" Come on Gray~sama! Juvia wants to see the fish!" She was excitedly jumping up and down, her curls bouncing behind her.
He just sighed and smiled to himself.
Lucy was hiding in a bush as she saw Gray and Juvia walk in the pale white building. Lucy gasped as she patted her pockets in desperation.
"Natsu, I left my money at home! Do you have some to pay for the tickets? I promise I'll pay you back for mine."
Lucy glanced over to Natsu as she seen him glaring through the bushes. He answered without even turning to look at her.
"Hell no. I spent all my jewels on food at the guild. Remember that chicken bone? I had to pay for it somehow."
Lucy groaned in irritation.
"Seriously what are you even good for!"
"Hush Lucy. I'm thinking of a plan to get us into that building."
Then Nastu's eyes lit up as a mischievous grin graced his lips. Lucy flailed her arms in panic.
"No Natsu! Whatever it is, I don't wanna!"Lucy whined in retaliation.
"Too late now." He said, as he slung a squirming Lucy over his shoulder.
"Let's go, Lucy!"
Juvia gasped as she looked around in awe. She ran up to the glass and pressed her small button nose against it, peering into the blue colorful mass of water. She had a glint of wonder in her eyes as if she were a kid.Gray smirked as he observed her. It was funny that Juvia still acted as if she had never seen water or fish before, yet she was a water mage.
"Gray~sama look! Juvia sees a shark!" Juvia pointed excitedly at the glass. Gray squinted through the water, and looked for any signs of movement.
He then spotted the gray blur.
"Oh yeah, that's a mako shark."
Juvia giggled in amusement, a sound that made his stomach fill up with butterflies.
"It's funny, because Juvia never really liked sharks." She whispered more to herself than Gray.
She smiled slightly looking into the crystal blue water.
"Really? I think they are pretty cool." Gray shrugged.
"Of course you do, Gray~sama. They are kinda like you! A bit mean acting, and bites a lot!" Juvia covered her mouth to hold back a giggle.
"Hey! I'm not that mean…sometimes..."Gray struggled retort.
" Of course not Gray~sama. Juvia was only kidding." She smiled and sent him a playful wink.
Gray scoffed with a roll of his eyes but hecouldn't hide the smile creeping on his face. Juvia looked forward, still watching the brownish shark glide through the water.
" Sharks tend to feed on fish that are weak, sick or injured. Even if that is the food chain, Juvia doesn't like it." She glanced down at the floor and smiled to herself.
" It reminds Juvia of her time in the orphanage. When the little boy's used to pick on Juvia for her rain she couldn't control. Or when the headmistress would punish Juvia because she flooded the crops a lot. Juvia was definitely weak back then…" She trailed off.
She still had that slight smile on her face, but her face was twisted in a hint of sadness. Gray could tell this was getting hard for her. He had forgotten about her bad past at the orphanage. How could he have forgotten something so important about Juvia?
"Juvia we can leave if you don't want to stay. I mean I didn't know that-"
"Juvia is really fine! She is over it...she just thinks of it sometimes, that's all." She put on a warm smile, but Gray couldn't help but notice the tears at the corner of her eyes.
The next thing he knew, he was holding Juvia in his arms. Her breathing halted, as her eyes widened.
She felt the warmth of Gray's, muscular, toned arms around her. The way he smelled of rosewood and lemongrass was intoxicating to her. Gray didn't want to let go. His arms around her just felt so...right to him. Her curly, blue hair was as soft to the touch as he always imagined.
He finally snapped back to reality and quickly pulled away. He blushed crimson as he ran his hands through his messy black hair. He couldn't make himself look at her. Not when his heart was going a mile a minute. And certainly not when he could still smell the scent of raindrops and roses. His cheeks burned as she stared up at him with confused eyes.
"Gray~sama…."
" Oh I heard they opened up another exhibit for a stingray. Let's go check that out." Gray mentioned, trying to change the subject. Juvia frowned as she trailed behind him.
"Natsu you better not drop me!!" Lucy cried as Nastu climbed in the open window on the side of the building, with her draped over his back.
"I'm not going to drop you Lucy! Stop whining already-" Natsu was cut off with Lucy squirming in his hold. Natsu's grasp started to slip.
" Lucy you're gonna make both of us fall! You're already heavy enough as it is!"
"That is so rude Natsu!" Lucy whined.
Finally they made it inside the building by sliding through the open window. They seen the backs of Juvia and Gray walking toward another room.
" This has to be a date! Gray wouldn't take just anybody here!" Lucy told Natsu.
" I bet Gray couldn't have thought of such a nice date place anyway." Natsu snickered.
"On our first date you took us to your dirty house to 'hang out'." Lucy said, staring at Natsu with a dead-panned expression.
"Yeah. It was great wasn't it Lucy?" Natsu replied.
Lucy rolled her eyes as she looked back at the pair. Gray's cheeks were really red for some reason. And Juvia had a slight pout adorning her pale pink lips.
"I wonder what's going on…" Lucy thought.
"Ughhhh,I'm bored! When are we gonna stop spying?" Natsu groaned.
"Hush Natsu! They are gonna hear us-"
"Hey, what are you doing here!!? I didn't see you guys pay up front!" They saw a man with the exact same outfit as the ticket collect outside, pointing an accusing finger at them. That must be another worker!
"Well time to go!" Natsu grabbed Lucy's hand. He sprinted towards Gray and Juvia, with a fumbling Lucy behind him.
" Are you guys dating? Hurry up, we are about to get kicked out." Natsu huffed.
Gray felt anger and a furious blush rise on his cheeks. Why would they ask them something so explicit?! Besides he never even told Juvia he had meant for this to be their date!
Juvia had surprised eyes and gaped open mouth.
"Natsu-san…" Juvia managed to croak as she covered her blushing face with her hands.
She waited for Gray to confirm what he always said. That they were just friends. This was normal between them. He was just being nice as usual. But if she went on a rampage like normal and claimed they were dating, it would push Gray away even more. But Gray didn't say a thing.
"Juvia...isn't dating Gray~sama! You're so silly Natsu-san." Juvia said as she plastered on an awkward smile.
Gray's heart dropped. He didn't know why he expected her to say something else. He had never told her this was a date in the first place, so why was he even expecting anything else?
"Yeah. I mean why would you think that? You know me and Juvia have only been friends for awhile Natsu. Stop being an idiot."
Juvia could feel the tears gathering at the corners of her eyes. Hearing it outloud was even worse than her assuming it.
"You have to pay to get in you know!" The angry ticket collector yelled, storming over to them.
"Let's run!" Natsu yelled behind him, already halfway to the open window.
"Natsu- hey wait!"
Lucy said breathless as she ran behind him.
"Gray~sama, let's go too?" Juvia gave him a playful smile as ran after the escaping Nastu and Lucy.
They finally made it outside and started sprinting away from the building. After a while, they finally stopped to catch their breaths.
All of them panting heavily Lucy looked behind her.
" Wow, that guy seemed really angry. I got scared for a second."
Juvia and Lucy met eyes, and for a second, they just smiled. Then they immediately started giggling. The boys looked at them like they had grown a second head. Then Natsu started to laugh. Gray let out a hearty chuckle as well.
"Juvia...doesn't even know...why she is laughing!!" She giggled.
"Me neither!" Lucy clutched at her stomach as she wiped a stray tear from her eye.
Everyone finally settled down and could stand straight again.
"Oi Lucy! Don't forget you owe me 100 jewels after this!" Natsu smirked.
Lucy sighed. "Darnit…I thought I was spot on with this one…"
" What's wrong Lucy-san?" Juvia tilted her head in confusion. Lucy shook her head, as she let out a slight chuckle.
"Me and Natsu betted earlier on if you and Gray were dating. But since you guys said no I owe him some jewels now…"
"Huh?!" Gray yelled.
Juvia clutched at her cheeks in surprise.
"Why would Lucy-san and Natsu-san think that?!"
"Well it's just…." Lucy thought for a moment, and her eyes lit up in realization.
" Well...it's just Gray has seemed happier lately, you know? Plus he hangs out with you a lot. And he takes you on missions and walks you home. In fact, you guys sorta act like a couple already."Lucy shrugged.
Gray felt his cheeks burn at her statements and he opened his mouth to retort, but came up with nothing. Everything she said had been true, and he had no excuse.
Juvia had been biting her lip as she looked down at the ground. She had to stop her imagination from going wild. She would always love Gray, but she wouldn't get her hopes up and think this was a date, when it was just Gray being a friend as usual.
" Actually it was a date. And you jerks ruined it, you know?" Gray replied.
Juvia's eyes widened as she whipped her head to look at Gray. He wasn't meeting her eyes, but she could tell he was embarrassed. Juvia gasped as her mouth hung open, tears threatening to fall.
"Gray~sama?! Juvia-" ''Well let's go on a double date! Lucy owes me money anyway, so she can pay for both me and her!" Nastu declared, a grin adorning his face.
"You dummy, Natsu! I won the bet! He just said he was dating Juvia!"
Gray finally got the courage to look at Juvia and her crystal blue eyes met his. Her eyes were wide as if she were frozen in shock, and a tear fell down her pale cheeks.
Before he knew, Juvia had her lips pressed against his in a passionate kiss. Gray finally snapped out of his daze and fell into the moment. He somehow had known her lips would be so soft. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him forward. Gray let his hands flow through Juvia's flowing curls. Juvia let out a small moan.
Their lips pressed against each other sweetly, making the taste of each other's lips linger as they parted, both panting softly. Lucy had already covered her red face in her hands while Natsu looked on in astonishment. Gray was frozen in place as Juvia smiled. She then turned to stunned Natsu and a furiously blushing Lucy.
"Where is this double date going to be?"

Thank you soo much for asking! Sorry it took me such a long time to write it!
Gruvia Band AU:Part 5
Disaster Date
You can't freely walk around without a good cover as a celebrity, as it was way to risky. Juvia understood this as she had on a baseball cap and a thick fluffy scarf that covered half her face if she lifted it a bit higher.There was a limited chance they would be recognized by the public.
Gray was sure his date with the guitarist Juvia would go great, as long as they both weren't recognized.
But why was everything going haywire? They first went to get ice-cream and then Juvia insisted they watch a movie.She wanted to watch a movie, but couldn't decide on one. So by the time she decided, the movie was halfway through. Gray decided not to mention it and just sat through the awful chick-flick that Juvia was so invested in.
"Gray~sama, did you enjoy the movie?" Juvia beamed as they walked out of the theatre.
"It was alright..." Gray lied. It was absolutely atrocious, even without seeing the beginning but he guessed that might not be the best thing to say.
"Well, Juvia knew you would like it! She wanted to watch Zombie Horror Story, but she thought you might enjoy that movie instead."
Gray felt his eye twitching increase tenfold.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Y'know, I like to see ladies pleased in my company." he boasted. Juvia couldn't stop the eye that urged itself to roll at him.
"Juvia is sure you have a lot of experience." She tried to sound serious but couldn't help a slight smile that slipped through. Damn why does she keep doing that?
"Well none were quite like you Juvia. They were very...uninteresting y'know?" Gray tried to salvage his reputation at least a bit.
"Juvia is surprised you even got to know them. Don't playboys usually just screw and get rid of the girl?" She said, with confusion in her tone as she tapped her chin in thought.
But Gray saw the gleam in her eye and smirk that played on her pink lips as she said this.
"Well, I wouldn't know since I'm not a playboy. But I'm sure I have more experience with dating than a certain someone." He mumbled although he knew she could hear him.
It took everything in his willpower not to laugh when her cheeks heated up as she scrambled for justification.
"Well Juvia is busy a lot! She never has time for dating."
"Is it that? Or did someone break your heart?" Gray chuckled.
Honestly he thought his joke was funny and he even patted himself on the back for coming up with a comeback so brilliant.
But what he wasn't expecting was to see such a serious expression on the face that was smiling just moments before.As soon as he seen such an expression, he immediately felt awkward. They were just joking right? What did he say wrong? Well, maybe it wasn't the best idea to bring up an ex, he thought. Damn, Juvia was right. He never really did get to know the girls, only how to seduce them.
"Sorry." Gray mumbled looking away. He hadn't said the words in so long it felt foreign on his tongue.
"For what?" Juvia inquired, this time a genuinely confused look on her face.
"You know, making you upset I guess. Obviously you didn't like what I said..." Gray practically coughed the apology out. He was expecting a scrambling of apologies from Juvia to be honest, saying how she didn't want to make him uncomfortable. But Gray forgot. This was Juvia, the girl he hadn't understood from the first day he met her.
"It's honestly just reminds Juvia how people sometimes can be. He did cheat on Juvia so she that’s why she just remembered some bad memories. Juvia is sorry."
“I’m sorry he cheated on you, Juvia. I, err didn’t know.” He felt like such an idoit for bringing it up. And the worst part was probably the fact that he wasn’t the most faithful man either, when he was in relationships.
“ Well I'm sure him and his new love are happy together so there's no need to still be upset about it ."She smiled and Gray couldn't understand it.
"Why are you happy for them? Didn't he hurt you? Or did you not really like him?"
" Of course I did." She said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world." But I wouldn't wish that kind of sadness and pain on anyone, even my greatest enemy."
"Even me?" Gray teased, trying to distract himself from the guilt he felt."Cause it sure doesn't seem like you like me." Juvia snorted and tried to contain her fit of giggles, as Gray stared with the most confused look on his face. Gray hated to admit it, but all the clues pointed to her not liking him.She even seemed irritated at times.
"Of course Juvia likes you at least a bit, otherwise she wouldn't still be here. Even if Juvia going somewhere with you was a favor, for saving her doesn't mean you aren't interesting."
Gray was stunned she actually didn’t despise him, unless she was lying. Juvia broke eye contact, and looked instead to the rose colored sky.
"Juvia loves seeing this kind of sky. It calms her down." She looked enrapturing in the evening light as her pale skin glistened. He was enraptured with the beauty of the serene expression on her face. Gray unconsciously moved closely to Juvia that he could practically imagine how her voluptuous body would feel pressed against his. He leaned in closer as he cupped her pale cheek. Her plump lips pressed together involuntarily in a pout, as she placed her small pale hands on Gray's chest to gently push him away.
" Don't get ahead of yourself, Gray~sama. Juvia never said she was interested in you romantically. She could see you as a friend, sure. But you're honestly just not Juvia's type." She tried to put it as lightly as she could but she was never good at rejecting people.
It had been a while since Gray had been rejected. So it was quite evident he was shocked.
"Not even like...a bit? At all?" Gray asked, hopeful that she was joking.
Juvia turned to stare down at her shoes,biting her lips occasionally as she tried to find something to say.
" I get it. We only just met a couple of days ago. I shouldn't have even pressured you into this date, honestly. I'll just drive you home."
"Gray-"
"Juvia, let's just go." Gray didn't know why he was actually hurt. He didn't get rejected much nowadays but once upon a time, he did get rejected a lot before his career took off. Guess he forgot the feeling.
That sinking feeling you get, and the embarrassment you feel as you awkwardly try to change the subject and forget it ever happened, but can’t
Gray had forgotten he left his car at his studio's private parking garage so it was quite a bit of walking distance him and Juvia had to trail. Gray always left a spare car in the garage, just in case.
Half the time Gray didn't even use this car, as he always drove a different one to work.
But this morning he had felt like walking to clear his head. The walk to Gray's car was deafening silent, besides Juvia humming softly to herself as she walked. She acted as if nothing happened, and Gray was surprised to find this irritated him. Badly. They finally made it to the empty garage and Juvia hopped into the other side of the car.
Gray finally made it out onto the busy main street. Juvia sighed as she took off her cap and her wild blue curls fell loosely at her shoulders. It was still silent, but his mind was racing and Gray couldn't help the question forming on his lips.
" Why don’t you see me as a romantic interest? Is it because I'm not handsome enough for you?" Gray asked, more spite laced in his voice than actual question.
Now that he thought about it, why was he the one feeling like shit, when she was the one missing out? Any girl would die to be with him, so she was the crazy one. But something inside Gray wanted to know so badly why she rejected him. She took a deep breath and tucked a long lock of curl behind her ear, as she softly sighed.
"It's not anything like that. Juvia just...focuses on more than just looks or materialistic things." Gray kept his eyes on the road, but he craved to look at Juvia.
What had she meant by that? Did he not have a good enough personality?
"What the hell does that mean? Does it have to do with my personality then?" Gray asked irritated. Juvia saw he was getting upset so she tried to drop the subject, but Gray wouldn't let it go.
"Juvia didn't mean it like that! Let's just drop the subject, Gray~sama.”
"I just don't get it. You honestly must be brain-dead to think you would get better than me."
The car was eerily quiet for a while, until Juvia humbly whispered,"You don't see it, do you? How troubled you truly are. Juvia sees it as bright as day, because she isn't fooled by your false charms."
Before Gray could even confront her, she said in a firm tone,"Stop the car. Juvia will take a taxi home."
Gray finally realized his grave mistake, but the words were already uttered, and he couldn't make himself sound like a jerk any more than he already did. He quietly parked the car on the side of the road.
"Can you unlock the door? Juvia can't get out."
"Only until you listen to my apology. Please."
" Wow, how considerate of you to apologize to Juvia against her will, Gray~sama. Will you next, follow Juvia's taxi home to give her roses?" She sarcastically stated, a hoarse chuckle rising in her throat.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't think about what I said, before I said it. I was just frustrated, so I was just acting out on my frustration."
"Juvia has tried to behave today, but you make it hard."
" You know you aren't such an angel yourself, Juvia. Always criticizing the way I live my life, making sleazy remarks when noone asked for your input," Gray scoffed."Can you not see you're making this hard for me?"
Juvia leaned in closer, and rested a soft hand on his cheek, as she looked into his eyes with unbelievable intensity. He felt his anger melt away instantaneously being replaced with lust.
" You just prove Juvia's point more and more, don't you?" She purred. The slim fingers on his cheek moved quickly to the unlock button, and she was opening the door in a flash.
Gray stared at her in disbelief, as she pulled out her phone, and started dialing the number for a taxi. Gray said nor tried anything as he sat in his car and waited for Juvia to step in her taxi. She met his eyes one last time before she slipped inside the car. Why he waited, or cared he didn't know.

Supposed Date
"Why are you so pissy today?" Natsu groaned as he slammed his head on his mic in frustration." You keep rushing me and I can't work in these conditions!"
"Well excuse me Natsu, if I want to go to lunch! You messing up every damn note in the song is wasting my time."
"Someone lit a fire under his ass." Gajeel snorted.
Gray whipped his head around to glare at Gajeel and Gajeel glared right back.He would never be intimidated by a guy who stripped in his sleep.
" Can you guys just give it a rest, so we can go?" Jellal groaned. Natsu smirked, as he winked at Jellal.
"What, ya meetin' up with a chick?" Jellal turned a rosy red before he turned away, mumbling,"I'm not meeting with anyone."
Natsu stared at him a minute before shrugging his shoulders.
"Well I have nothing to rush for, Gray. But I sure don't wanna stay here."
"Then let's go already. I have things to do." Gray said rolling his eyes.
"Like meet up with girls." Gajeel coughed, as Gray glared again. Then again, he wasn't exactly wrong this time. He was still being an ass though.
He was running late. Twenty minutes to be exact. And he was a bit worried, wondering if Juvia left already.
He hoped Juvia would have waited for him, but in his mind he knew she had probably been left. He knew she had a busy schedule, same as him. If that idoit Natsu didn't waste all his time babbling, maybe he would have been on time.
As he rounded the corner, he had even bumped into a couple of people, then continued running. He finally made it to the small coffee shop, and looked inside the tinted window. He scanned the red cushioned couches for blue hair. Black hair, green hair, pink hair?!
Gray burst inside the building to see Natsu sitting with Juvia at a table,messily gobbling down a piece of cake while Juvia sat across from him, giggling at his hearty appetite.
"What the hell are you doing here, Natsu??!" Gray snarled at him through gritted teeth. Natsu finally looked up from his meal before meeting Gray's eyes with suprised ones.
"Yo! I just saw Juvia in the coffee shop by herself so I decided to say hi. Besides I had to ask a couple of questions."
"They were about Lucy!" Juvia grinned and winked at Gray.
It felt like all hell broke loose in Gray's mind. This was supposed to be his date. Natsu had already made him late, and now the asshole was ruining his chance at spending time with Juvia.
"Great. you can leave now Nastsu!"
" But I didn't finish my cake. Besides Juvia already ordered me another piece of cake. Unlike you guys, she likes keeping me from starving." Natsu rolled his eyes.
Gray felt the anger boiling inside of him, and he was preparing to fight with him then and there. But there was one thing that was stopping him. Juvia was watching him, and he didn't want her to think he was violent or anything.
He sighed as Juvia smiled up at him and patted the seat beside her excitedly. Somehow Gray tripped on his shoe as he was getting in the seat, and fell on top of Juvia.
He caught himself before he fell, caging Juvia in between the window and his body. Juvia looked on with wide eyes as a scarlet blush tainted her pale cheeks. Her blushing made him blush as he backed up, awkwardly sitting back.
"Sorry."he mumbled.
"I-it's ok, Gray~sama, it was an accident." She smiled, as she unconsciously twirled a strand of her blue curls .
"Um, you guys ok? Cause ya'll are making things pretty awkward, ya' know?" Natsu commented, with a face full of the new piece of cake he had just gotten.
"Why are you even still here?" Gray growled. Natsu ignored Gray's comment before turning to Juvia.
" Oh by the way, I like the dress you have on Juvia." Natsu said.
"Oh thank you Natsu-san. It was a bit pricey but definitely worth the money."
Gray narrowed his eyes at Natsu. Gray should have complimented her before Nastsu, so he would have gotten gentleman points.
" I think your dress is pretty too." Gray mumbled.
Juvia said a quick 'thanks' before starting to give pointers to Natsu about to how to talk and dress to get Lucy to agree on a date with him.
" Now, Lucy likes guys that are the kinda 'mature, dark and handsome'. Now you aren't exactly like that, but we can work on it! Kinda like...Gray~sama."
Hold it. Did she just call him handsome?
"What's your type Juvia?" Gray asked, his ego now inflated.
Juvia put a finger to her lips in concentration. Her very pink lips that were very thick and soft and- Wait what.
"Juvia thinks...Juvia doesn't know. She has never been in a serious relationship, unlike Gray~sama."
" Really? Well I mean, I have never been in a serious relationship either." Gray replied.
"Wow Gray! Then all those girls must have been one night stands! That's impressive. I just thought you broke up with each of them every other day." Natsu commented in interest.
This dumb fuck. Gray gave Natsu his deadliest stare and kicked him hard under the table.
"Damn Gray! Why are you kicking people!?"
"Sorry, accident." Gray smiled, although his narrowed eyes said differently.
" Juvia has heard about the poor girls that Gray~sama has abandoned-"
"They weren't abandoned-"
"Juvia just feels for the girls. Thinking that you were important to someone and then being kicked out of their life, you know? Juvia used to have a boyfriend...that did the same to her..."
Juvia started to tear up at the mention of it. Gray mentally panicked. What was he supposed to do with crying girls?
"It's ok Juvia. He was probably a jerk anyway. Your better off without him." Natsu commented, nodding his head knowingly.
Damn it, this asshole stole his thunder again!
"You know what? You guys can have a good time enjoying yourselves. I'm leaving. I didn't come here to be judged by my lifestyle anyway." Gray huffed, as he stormed out the cafe.
He stuffed his hands inside his pockets as he walked down the street, as he replayed the scene in his head.
His anger got the better of him. Again. The dumbass flame breath had a greater chance of getting with Juvia than him. Probably even Jellal too. You know what? Who fucking cares? She was way out of line anyway.
" Wait Gray~sama!"
Oh no. Gray started to walk a bit faster. There was no way he would get caught up with her again. Pretty or not, it wasn't worth the trouble. Fuck that connection as well, he had plenty of other ladies that he had...sexual connections with. Practically the same thing.
"Gray~sama."
Gray jumped suprised, as Juvia was already at his side."How the hell are you so damn fast??!"
"Sorry for scaring you Gray~sama. Even though it was a bit funny..." Juvia chuckled. Gray couldn't help the embarrassment from showing on his face.
"Yeah, yeah. What did you need? I thought you and Natsu wanted to hang out or somethin'. " Gray asked, of course not interested because why would he be?
"Of course, Gray~sama. Natsu-san is very funny." She smiled.
Wow she didn't get sarcasm did she?
"Well why are you talking to me then?"
"Because Natsu is off to ask Lucy-san on a date. That means we can finally be alone."Juvia purred, her seductive blue eyes staring into his dark ones. The way she said it....sent shivers up his spine.
"So let's go, Gray~sama! Juvia wants to go to the movies!"
"Don't you have practice for the rest of the day?" Juvia smirked.
"Trust Juvia. When Lucy-san leaves, practice is over. That's if she agrees anyway. You should thank Natsu-san for being brave and asking her. Oh my gosh, they would make such a cute couple!" She yanked on his arm excitedly.
"Oi!"
"My bad Gray~sama." She giggled as she turned around and stuck her tongue out playfully.
Well he was wrong. He was still along for the ride, he guessed, and it was probably going to go off the rails. But as long as the ride was fun, right?

Dancing through The Night
I finally tried making fluff for the first time because all I ever do is make angst lol.
I did the prompts "Person A and Person B dancing around the kitchen at 2 in the morning"

Gray woke up to an empty bed and light peeking out his bedroom door and a delightful smelling aroma in the air. He sat up in his bed and rubbed his tired eyes. Gray turned to his bedside table to look at the glowing red numbers on his alarm clock. It was 2 o’clock in the morning.
He sighed as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and ruffled his messy bed hair. As Gray shuffled out the door and into the living room, noticed his girlfriend Juvia in front of the stove stirring something in a pot.
She was humming softly as she swayed her hips from side to side. Gray smiled as he stalked behind her and blew on the shell of her ear. Juvia squeaked as she turned around to see Gray smirking at her reddened face.
”Gray~sama! What are you doing up? I thought you were sleeping?”She asked as she continued to stir the pot.
“Well,I couldn’t sleep with that delicious smell in the air.“Gray chuckled.
Juvia smiled apologetically."Juvia was supposed to bake Lucy and Nastu-san a Banana Split Cheesecake earlier but, she forgot. Juvia is stirring the strawberry sauce right now while the cake is baking in the oven.”Juvia explained.
“Ooooh fancy.” Gray teased.
Juvia pouted at his comment.
“Well it is Nastu and Lucy-san’s wedding tomorrow! Juvia wants them to have something delicious as a wedding present from us, along with the clothes Juvia bought Lucy-san and free buffet coupon she got for Nastu-san. Especially since you didn’t get anything for either of them!”Juvia gave him a stern look of disapproval.
Gray scoffed.”I did give them something. I gave Lucy a hair tie-”
“That Juvia picked out,Gray~sama.”Juvia interjected.
“AND,”Gray said extra loud for emphasis,”I didn’t give Nastu anything.”
”How could you Gray~sama! It’s their wedding!”Juvia scolded him. Gray shrugged as he looked in the pot with the strawberry red sauce.
”Can I have a taste?”Gray asked.
” Gray~sama, you can’t. And besides you should be working on learning how to dance for the party afterwards! You don’t want to be the only one sitting on the wall do you Gray~sama?”
”Uh,yeah. That actually sounds pretty nice.” Gray rolled his eyes.
Juvia gave a dramatic sigh.
”Juvia guesses she will have to find another dance partner.”
”You’re kidding, right Juvia?”If that was a joke Gray was not amused.
“Gray~sama, dancing is easy. Just don’t step on Juvia’s feet or bump into anybody and you’ll be fine.” Juvia sighed shaking her head.
”It’s harder than it looks Juvia.”Gray mumbled.
”Why don’t you and Juvia practice now! The sauce is done and the cake is still in the oven!”Juvia clapped her hands together excitedly, practically bouncing on her toes with her curls following her lead.
Gray sighed. “Juvia..It’s 2 in the morning.”Gray complained.
”Please Gray~sama?It’s only one dance!” Juvia asked with pleading eyes.
”Juvia I don’t want to dance.”
“Please?! Or Juvia is actually going to be serious with finding another dance partner.”Juvia put her hands on her hips in a demanding way.
"Goddamnit Juvia! Fine, one dance…”Gray grumbled.
Juvia giggled as she ran into their bedroom and brought out a music lachrima to put on dancing music. Then she took Gray’s hands and placed them on her hips, and then she put her hands around his neck.
” Ok, Gray~sama. Just move to the beat of the music, and Juvia will follow.”Juvia instructed.
”Alright,I guess…” Gray moved a couple of feet and Juvia followed.
It was going well until Gray stepped on Juvia’s feet.
”Sorry, Juvia!” He did it a second time.
”It’s okay, Gray~sama just listen closely to the music.”
This time Gray stepped backwards too fast making Juvia trip over his foot, and bump into his chest.
”See Juvia!? I told you I can’t dance!”Gray groaned grabbing his hair in frustration.
”Gray~sama, Juvia has a trick you can use. Just look into Juvia’s eyes. Don’t look around or concentrate too hard on the music. Once you relax the dancing will come naturally! Let’s try again.”Juvia encouraged.
“Juvia, I already told you-”
“Juvia knows you can do it Gray~sama. You just have to trust Juvia.” Juvia held out her small pale hands, as Gray sighed and took them into his and pulled her close.
”Okay, Gray~sama make sure you only look at Juvia.” She reminded him.
They started dancing and Gray tried extra hard not to look down to see if he was about to crush Juvia’s foot. Juvia had a calming smile on her face as she stared into Gray’s eyes. Gray already felt his body relaxing as he got lost deeper in her ocean blue eyes. Sooner or later his body was moving comfortably on it’s own to the beat of the music, with Juvia following his lead.
He barely heard the music as he stared into Juvia’s eyes and felt her body move in place with his. It felt like they were in a totally different world as Gray’s body moved into sync with hers like they were one.
”Excellent Gray~sama! You did very well!”Juvia praised as she stopped the music.
”I-I did?”
”Yes Gray~sama! Juvia’s advice helped, didn’t it? You never stepped on Juvia’s foot once.”
Gray was suprised at how well he did,especially since he was never good at dancing.
”Well I guess it was all thanks to you, Juvia. I could have never figured it out on my own..”Gray admitted.
Juvia stepped closer to Gray as she placed a kiss on his lips.
”No Gray~sama. It was all thanks to you trying. Now Juvia won’t have to find someone else to dance with!”Juvia winked and giggled. Gray frowned at that. The oven suddenly beeped.
”Oh, Juvia’s cake!”
She bounced over to the oven and carefully took the hot pan out with oven mitts. The cake smell filled the air as Juvia looked proudly at the golden cake. She then tasted the strawberry sauce to see if it was sweet enough.
”Mmm, the sauce tastes too sweet!”
“You know, this dance will come in handy on our wedding day too.” Gray whispered in her ear.
Juvia whipped her head around to question what Gray had just said, only to be pulled into a deep kiss. As Gray pulled away, he slowly licked his bottom lip.
”It tastes perfect to me.”

Part 2💕
Warning: This may be a bit mature for some readers so...I dont want nobody blaming me for ruining their innocence. Thank you.
Gray felt a bit...how should he put it? Pissed. Maybe because the girl he saw on that stage had just basically called his music trash.Or maybe because she was sitting there with her doe blue eyes and curly sexy ocean blue hair cascading down her shoulders . Gray couldn't tell.
Gray scoffed at Juvia's comment. "What do you mean your "not a big fan of our music"? You do know we are number one on the music charts of Fiore right?" Gray smirked.
Juvia tilted her head to the side, making her curls create a curtain around her shoulder. "And? Juvia much prefers the band 'Raijinshuu' anyway." She shrugged.
Then she gave him her brightest smile. "But Juvia is sure that you and the rest of Gajeel-kun's bandmates are wonderful people! Oh! Excuse Juvia's horrible manners. Juvia's name is Juvia. Nice to meet you, Gray~sama!" She held out her hand for a handshake.
What was wrong with this girl?! She just insulted him AND his musical abilities and played it off like it was nothing! Gray returned the handshake. As he grabbed her pale hand he felt a jolt of electricity up his spine and it brought that irresistible urge he had for her back. Gray was still frustrated though.
"Yeah." Gray gritted his teeth."I think I got what your name was the first 50 times you said it."
"Oh, now Juvia remembers where she seen Gray~ sama's name before! In the magazines! On Fiore's Drama weekly." Gray froze.
Juvia glanced around, as if people were listening, and got really close to Gray. Gray unconsciously held his breath as his body went rigid. She was so close that her breath started to hit the shell of his ear, and he shivered in delight. Juvia stood on the tips of her toes and whispered in Gray's ears, some of her hair touching Gray's shoulder.
" You do know there are a lot of rumors about you sleeping around right, Gray~sama? The papers say you come home with a different woman every night." She soothingly whispered in his ears.
Gray's eyes went wide. She heard about his reputation?!
"Those are all lies you know. The paparazzi likes to make things up you know." Gray played it off with a smirk on his face.
"Right, Gray~sama. Juvia believes you!" She said in an annoyingly cheerful tone as she smiled with half lidded eyes.
Something about the way she spoke made her even more irresistible, but irritated him at the same time.
"Anyway, Juvia wants to talk to Gajeel-kun now. Talk to you later, Gray~sama!" She started to skip over to Gajeel.
Gray watched her walk and admired the view. He would get this girl no problem. Gray Fullbuster never missed his target. After all, he was the infamous playboy for a reason. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Whether he tossed her to the side or not later was up to him. But his heart for some reason connected to this strange girl and he didn't know why. He wasn't looking for commitment or anything.
"Gajeel-kun! Juvia missed you so much!" She nuzzled her head in his torso and sighed.
Juvia had missed her best friend and past bandmate. Once Gajeel had walked away from the band, so did Juvia. He was the only reason why she had stayed in that horrid band in the first place. "What the hell-get off me rain woman!" He yelled trying to take her iron grip from around his waist.
Gray couldn't help but hang his mouth open. She was totally different with him then she was with Gajeel! What the hell?! He knew they were close but not for her to have a whole personality change.
" Juvia you know Mr. Gajeel?" Levy asked timidly.
Juvia nodded anxiously. "Mhmmm! We used to be in a band together."
"WHAT?! How come we never heard about this before?! We could have been met the band!" Lucy pouted.
Juvia shrugged as she finally let go of Gajeel." Gajeel-kun is always busy and has no time for Juvia anymore." She shot Gajeel a dirty look and he moaned in irritation.
"You know we are busy most of the time, just as you are with your band!"Gajeel snapped.
"Is that why you don't have a girlfriend Gajeel-kun?" Juvia snickered.
" Shut up, woman! Not like you have a boyfriend either!" Gajeel countered.
Seriously why was everyone on him about a girlfriend?!
" J-juvia doesn't have a boyfriend because she doesn't want one!" Juvia yelled, her cheeks burning from embarrassment.
"Besides...it's not like Juvia has had the best relationships…" Juvia trailed off.
Gajeel sighed."Sorry." He mumbled looking away."I went too far, didn't I?"
"No! Juvia is fine! The past is the past now!" Juvia waved his concerns off.
Lucy and Levy could feel the tension but didn't know what was going on, so just stayed quiet.
"Hey, Luce! What's your phone number? We can hang out sometime!" Nastu grinned, oblivious to the atmosphere.
"Luce? Don't you think it's too early for nicknames?" Lucy asked, hands on her hips.
" Not if you have as good of a chemistry as us!" Nastu grinned cheekily.
Lucy sighed, but ended up exchanging contacts anyway. When Gray overheard Natsu, that's when he got the genius idea to ask Juvia for her phone number.
"Hey Juvia, what's your phone number?" Gray asked walking towards Gajeel and Juvia.
"Oh Juvia can write it down for you! One second!" She grabbed a small slip of paper and scribbled it down.
As she handed it to Gray, Gajeel caught a glimpse of the paper and couldn't hold back a snicker.
"What's so funny Gajeel?" Gray asked, annoyed.
"Nothing. Anyway we should probably get going. We have practice don't we?"
"Oh yeah. I forgot. Well I guess we should." Gray sighed as he stuck the piece of paper in his pocket.
As the girls bid the boys goodbye, Gray felt accomplishment in his actions tonight. Even if Juvia threw him off for a little bit at first, she was still a naive woman in the end.
As Jellal and Nastu went home after their band practice, there was only Gajeel and Gray left in the band room. As Gray leaned against the wall, he pulled out his phone and glanced at the number on the paper. Gray smirked and typed in the number and waited. It rung. And rung.
It finally picked up and a high pitched voice came from the other side.
"Hello?"
Gray could tell it was a woman on the other end.
And it definitely wasn't Juvia's voice.
"Uhhh hey, is this the phone number of a girl named Juvia?"
Gray was so confused. Maybe it was Juvia's manager or something. Until he heard Gajeel burst out laughing.
Gray frowned. Something was wrong.
"No...but it is the business number for my….. sexual services. Would you like to make an appointment? It's very cheap and I can come over right away."The woman on the other line purred.
Gray's whole face went pale as he stumbled with his phone in his hands.
"I-I'm SORRY WRONG NUMBER!" He yelled into the phone as he quickly pressed the hangup button.
By now Gajeel was dying with laughter. He was on banging his fists on a table as his laughter filled the air.
"Why the fuck are you laughing, Gajeel!!? Shut the hell up! It was your friend that gave me a fucking prostitute's number!!" Gray yelled in anger.
"You really thought she would give a playboy like you her number!!? Giheee, your just as stupid as you look, man!!"
"I'm fucking leaving!" Gray yelled as Gajeel continued to laugh.
Gray grabbed his stuff and stormed home.There was no way that girl was going to make a fool out of him like that. He was going to get her no matter the cost.

Gruvia Band AU
Lol I know this is trash but I just wanted to try it 🤷.
"Thanks a lot Nastu, now we only have 2 hours to practice!" Gray yelled as Nastu strolled through the door of the band's practice room.
Nastu rolled his eyes at Gray's comment and instead smirked.
"I had something important to do. And you guys should be thanking me for being late. I got us tickets to’ The Fairy's’ concert tonight."
Nastu had a mischievous smile on his face as he held out 3 tickets. Gajeel, who had been tuning his guitar in the back of the room, perked his head up and glared at Natsu.
"You were late for practice getting us tickets to the damn Fairy's concert? You do know we have our own concert coming up right? We have to practice a lot in order to maintain our number 1 spot on the Fiore music charts."Gajeel grunted as he glared at Natsu.
"You think I'm stupid? I know that!"Nastu snapped."But I thought we could check out the competition you know? Plus that Lucy girl is pretty cute, you know?"Nastu snickered.
Gajeel rolled his eyes and Gray scowled.
"Can we go?”Nastu pleaded.”Who knows, we might even be able to meet them!"
Nastu sounded really excited but Gajeel and Gray could care less about a concert.
"You can go by yourself Nastu. Now let's practice." Gray was getting irritated.
"But you know these girls are right on our tails on the music charts and they just started their band!! We could probably lose our place to them anytime. We need to see how good these girls are, not just on TV, but in person!" Nastu huffed.
Gray rolled his eyes in distaste."Fine. If you'll finally start practice we can both go." Gray motioned to both him and Gajeel.
"Now wait a second, I never agreed-" Gajeel was cut off by Gray and his loud sighing." Gajeel please, man. I just want him to shut the hell up. Besides, it's not like you have anything else to do. All you do is stay cooped up in your house anyway. And it’s not like you have a girlfriend."
"Not like you do either!"Gajeel barked." I have plenty of ladies, Gajeel!" Gray countered.
"Yeah plenty of sluts." Gajeel mumbled, but Gray didn't hear him.
Everyone knew about Gray’s infamous title as a player, that hooked up with ladies left and right.
"Alright let's go- wait where the hell is Jellal? He was in this room!" Gray slapped his forehead in annoyance.
" Oh, he's going to the concert too. He was the one who hooked us up with the tickets from one of his 'old friends'. Anyway, he met me earlier and gave me these tickets and said he was coming back." Nastu shrugged.
"Ughh let's just go home." Gray huffed."We will meet up later for the concert anyway so we will practice late. No excuses."
"What the hell Gray?! You can't do that, your only the bassist! Your not even in charge!" Nastu shouted.
"That’s cool. Got nothin’ to do anyway." Gajeel butted in.
As Nastu had a tantrum, Gray texted Jellal there would be no practice until after the concert. Everyone left for the day and met up at 9 o'clock at night for the concert. They all had to wear disguises as they were a pretty popular band.
Gray fussed out Jellal for leaving when he knew they had to practice of course, and Jellal apologized profusely when they met up. They gave the ticket collector their tickets and walked inside the crowded area. There was plenty of people crowded together,pushing and shoving to get to the front before the concert started. Gray, Nastu, Jellal and Gajeel managed to get to the front, and soon the lights shut off and blinding lights shone on the stage. The band came on the stage, as their arrival cued the loud screams. The boys silently watched while the girls stepped on the stage and got ready to play.
Gray’s eyes were glued to a certain blue-haired girl with wavy,curly hair on the stage, one that played the lead guitar and was also the lead singer. As the concert started, Gray was entranced with her movements on stage and her beautiful voice that echoed all over the room. She was beautiful and her voice was powerful. Her voice and looks were so mesmerizing to Gray,he only got a glimpse of the other girls. It was like Gray and this mysterious blue haired girl were the only people in the room to Gray. The way she moved her body was so hypnotizing and her movements were so fluid, as if her body was made of water.
“Nastu...who is that blue-haired girl that is singing…?” Gray asked without even looking at him.
”Hm? Oh that is Juvia. She used to be apart of Gajeel’s old band! Funny right?” Nastu laughed.
Just then Juvia’s blue eyes flickered to Gray’s and it seemed like time stopped for Gray. It felt like she was staring into his soul,seeing every part of him. Then she broke eye contact and looked elsewhere. She wasn’t even looking at him anymore but his heart was still beating so fast, it felt like it would burst out his chest.
The concert was over in no time and Gray was determined to meet this woman. He didn’t know why but he was instantly attracted to her, like a magnet.
“Why do you want to suddenly meet the girls now? You didn’t even want to come here before! “ Nastu asked curiously tagging along behind Gray.
”I...don’t know. I just feel like...I don’t know!”Gray replied frustrated.
He couldn’t explain it but he felt it. He came backstage with the boys and was stopped by a bald bodyguard with a menacing glare.
”You can’t go any further! Scram kids, unless you have a backstage pass.” The bodyguard snarled.
Just then a scarlet-haired woman walked up to the guard and put her hand on his shoulder.
”It’s alright, Nick. This is my friend, and his bandmates.”
The woman motioned to Jellal and he just nervously smiled as he walked over to the red-haired woman. The woman looked familiar to Gray. Then it hit him. She was the woman on drums in The Fairies band.He remembered taking a glimpse of her on-stage.
”Anyway, I’m Erza the leader of the band. Come on you guys. I can introduce you to the other girls if you want. I’m sure they would be happy to meet you, as most of them are big fans!” Erza laughed.
Nastu nodded his head furiously while Gray tried to seem indifferent by shrugging his shoulders. But inside his heart was beating faster than it ever was. They soon came to a metal door that read ‘Lounge area-Backstage only’ and the woman with scarlet hair opened it. All the girls were excitedly talking while sitting on the couch. The blond haired girl Nastu had mentioned before, had her mouth dropped open when she noticed them standing at the door.
”Girls...look.” The blond whispered quietly.
The other girls turned around and all had suprised looks on their faces.
”Girls, may I introduce you to,’The Dragonflies’! Guys, this is Lucy, Levy and Juvia.”Erza smiled.
”Omg!Omg!” The blond haired girl screeched while holding Levy’s hand and jumping excitedly.
”We LOVE your guys’ music!!” They both excitedly jumped off the couch and scrambled to introduce themselves.
Gray noticed Juvia, who was still on the couch, observing them with a blank stare. Gray felt her eyes on him, and he felt nervous all over again. But the other girls were celebrating and conversating with the guys while, she just sat there. Gray worked up the courage to walk over to her and introduce himself.
”Hey! My name is Gray. You probably already know that though.”Gray laughed as he put on his best flirty and confident smile.
But Juvia showed no recognition as she had a confused and awkward look on her face.
”Umm...Juvia did not know who you were…”
Gray was now really confused. Hadn’t this girl ever heard of ‘The Dragonflies’ band?
”You know. Gray...from the band ’The Dragonflies’?”
Juvia thought for a second and suddenly her eyes lit up.’She finally recognized me. I thought this girl was nuts for a second’, Gray thought.
”Your those guys that Gajeel-kun is apart of now! The band I wasn’t a big fan of! Juvia loves Gajeel-kun and all, but he was much better in Phantom Lord!!” Juvia pointed out.
Gray’s face dropped. What just happened. Did she just...admit she didn’t like their music?
Okay I'm done. I just had this idea in my head and it had to come out🤣 I was going to write more but tumblr probably wont let me put that many words(I know from experience)

Gruvia Band AU:Part 3💞
Warning: Some of this might be too mature for innocent beans. So please be cautious
Gray awoke to the bright sunlight in his face,peeking through his black curtains. He turned to his side and saw a beautiful woman sleeping soundly. She had long black hair and a peaceful sleeping face. Her name was Monica right? Mandy?He remembered when she had told him in the taxi on the way to his condo, after they met at the club, that it was something with an M. She only had his sheet covering her body, as she softly snored. Gray sighed.
He didn't know why, but his mind imagined a certain curly blue haired girl's body in his sheets, soundly asleep. Juvia's hair looked so soft that when he first saw her, he wanted to run his rough hands all through it. Gray shook the thought from his mind. Gray sat up and grabbed his phone. It was 8:37 in the morning, almost time for practice.
He did the honors of calling the girl a taxi.
"Hey, get the hell out my bed.There's a taxi outside to take you wherever you need to go." Gray muttered ,loud enough for the girl to arouse from her slumber.
The girl sat up and rubbed her tired eyes.
"Mr.Fullbuster...did you have a good time? I would like to do this again sometime ..." Gray groaned and slapped his palm over his tired eyes. What the hell did he drink last night?
" Sure, sure Mandy. Just...can you please leave? I have to get to practice in another hour or so." The girls eyes widened as she downcast her eyes, holding back tears. Her name was Mindy.
"Of course, Mr.Fullbuster."
She scurried out of the bed and hurried to get clothed. As soon as the girl was out the door, Gray shuffled to his bathroom and decided to take a nice relaxing bath. Cold, of course since Gray felt more at home in the freezing water.
As Gray sat in the bath, he wondered what was missing from his life. Why did he always feel so alone at night, even though he was never alone in his bed? He guessed it might have to do something with random strangers being in his condo, but it felt like something more.
Something deeper. His mind flashed back to Juvia. Gray hissed as he sank even deeper in the water. Why did he keep thinking about that woman! It's not like he cared about her! Heck, he barely knew her! But something about her made him want to know more… Gray tossed aside the thoughts clouding his head, and hurried to get dressed. Gray finally headed out the door and made his way to the building where him and the boys in his band practiced.
As Gray made his way to the band room, he saw a blur blue curls rush into the street. He didn't even know he had moved until he was lying on the ground, covering the shivering, frail body of Juvia. Her messy curls were in a ponytail and her eyes were tightly shut as she refused to move from her spot in the street.
Gray glanced around and noticed a red car really close to the spot they were sprawled. Too close. A short stubby woman came rushing out the car, babbling about how they should look where they were going and asked if anybody was hurt. Juvia finally sat up and met his eyes, but he could tell she was still shaken. After Juvia apologized to the lady, and reassured her they were fine, Gray helped Juvia make her way out the street and onto the sidewalk. She finally managed to talk.
"J-juvia is so sorry! She didn't look where she was going and she crossed the street without looking! The worst part is she endangered two people! Juvia wasn't paying attention because she was rushing to get to practice and- Oh no!!! Juvia is late!" Juvia frantically stood up and looked around, as if she didn't even know where she was.
" Juvia just take a breath for a second. I'm sure getting to practice on time isn't worth getting hit by a car." Gray joked.
Juvia frowned.
" This is no joking matter, Gray~sama! Nearly 6 million car crashes a year, results in deaths!
"What the- where did you even hear that?!"
" On the radio, Gray~sama." Juvia put her hands on her hips and puffed out her cheeks.
" People really need to listen to the radio more. Oh Juvia forgot to apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for pushing her out the way of the car! Juvia actually thought you were a narcissistic jerk at first, but Juvia guesses you do think about other people!"
She beamed as she said this like it was such a compliment. She was all over the place, and it was scrambling Gray's mind.
" Juvia is so sorry for the trouble Gray~sama. Can she make it up to you in any way?" Gray thought about it before a thought crossed his mind.
"It's fine really. But if you insist. You can give me your real number."
"Huh? What does Gray~sama mean? She gave it to you a few days ago…"
Juvia nervously smiled and unconsciously twirled her fingers through her curls. Gray had the most deadpanned expression on his face.
" Juvia. You put me through a lot that day. I deserve the truth don't you think?"
Juvia thought for a second before she giggled.
" Gajeel-kun told me it was pretty funny. Juvia thinks she did a pretty good job. Don't you?" She had a sly smirk on her face. "Besides you should be thanking Juvia. She did give you a number you might find will come in handy. Especially with your...title."
His eyes met her blue hooded ones and he could tell she knew more than she let on.
" Oh Juvia has to go! She is already late to practice! But before she goes, she still has to repay you so instead of the phone number, we can meet at the coffee shop for lunch at 2:00p.m. How does that sound?"
Gray sighed. It felt like she was testing him with everything he said. But then again...this could be a chance to make things work in his favor. Gray smirked.
" Sure. Which one?"
" Well Juvia's building for practice with the girl's is right across from here so, the one right around the corner."
Gray nodded in agreement. Juvia smiled before walking down the sidewalk toward her destination. Gray wondered why she was so reluctant to give her phone number up to him, but he continued on to his own destination. He was confident he would have it by the end of the night anyway. This girl may have some tricks up her sleeves but so did he.

Is it wrong to Spy:My Gruvia fanfic Part 1. I wrote a gruvia fanfic with my gajeelxjuvia brotp and lucyx gray brotp(BROTP NOT SHIP).It was originally supposed to be a oneshot but I wrote so many words it couldn't be a oneshot lol. I've been really lacking on gruvia oneshots so....I tried to write my own which turned out really bad lol. But oh well. This is the first part of the story and I was going to write the last part if people liked it. In 100 year quest, I'm pretty sure I will be disappointed.
I was reading a post from @sleepy-giggles, and at the end they stated that they are pretty sure Gray will ask Happy or Charla to take an unconscious Juvia away from the danger(with Team Nastu probably fighting the Wood God Dragon and all) in the next chapter(chapter 28). I honestly think that's probably how it's going to be. Knowing Mashima-sensei, Juvia will not be included in this fight. I have a feeling she will leave all together one way or another. Team Nastu always takes the spotlight and there is no room for one more. I am tired of seeing Team Nastu chapter after chapter after chapter. It is boring and honestly if it wasn't for my ship and my favorite side characters I would have been left. But of course, there is nothing I can do. I had high hopes of Juvia getting more power in this sequel. I chose to believe that maybe she will get the development she deserves. Not as Gray's stalker or love interest, but as a person. We haven't even seen the full extent to her power yet, and the main manga has been long since finished. Yes, I am all for Gruvia. To be honest that's part of the reason I am reading 100 year quest still. But I hate seeing my favorite character get neglected time and time again. We have seen Lucy, Wendy, Erza and the rest of Team Nastu time and time again progress and get stronger. Yet, with Juvia,it seems like her power level stays the same. I think it is unfair, but of course I shouldn't be suprised because she's not apart of Team Nastu😑🙄. There is so much that could be done with her power, it's ridiculous it's underutilized. SHE LITERALLY HAS A UNIVERSAL POWER. I don't know, maybe she still has a chance and she will finally get spotlight. But I'm not counting on it. I'm done with my rant now lol. I get triggered so easily. Anyway I still have my hopes up regardless but I have a feeling they are going to get squashed anyway.
This was way longer than it was supposed to be lol.
