Can we talk about how wholesome romance is in gt?

The giant is just looking down at the tiny lovingly with so much love and appreciation, gently sweeping them off their feet as they hold their entire being in their hands.

They exchange glances, both craving the affection and enjoying the touch, the giant just gently leaning in and pepperminting their tiny love in kisses because their lips are too big to kiss them on the lips.

And when the tiny wants to return the kiss they can just lean forward, softly kissing the giant's lips lovingly as it is now the giant's turn to be unable to return the kiss of their love.

The thought alone of being held close to a heart and feeling it beat for you, the thought alone of feeling the one person you love most in your hands... it's just so heartwarming...

And just being able to be so close together despite the huge size difference....

I don't know about you guys, but I want this.

Random GT Thoughts

Something I LOVE about GT that I don't see talked enough about is the giant doing something completely innocuous, but it scaring the SHIT out of the tiny. Like they don't even have to try to threaten the tiny, the fact that they can pick up a WHOLE apple. Or maybe tiny has been scared of giants eating them, so when Tol gets tired and yawns they just freak the fuck out, whole seeing their life flash before their eyes type shit.

Bonus points if they don't bring it up immediately, but the giant knows SOMETHING is off, but not what, 'my tiny friend is looking at me like I'm death again, what did I do?' and when they find out they immediately halt all doing of that action. Hard stop, no scaring tinies in this household

Ugggh just thought about the touching and heartbreaking scene of a tol and smol being stuck/trapped somewhere, maybe with the tol being very injured, but there is a small opening that only the smol can fit through. The tol tells the smol to go, that they can make it. They should leave them to try and get help. But of course, the smol doesn’t want to do that, they don’t want to leave them alone in such a condition, and what if they don’t find anyone? Or what if they do and it’s too late? Then the last memory they’ll have, is of them leaving the other like this. It’s a tough choice, but either the smol eventually and reluctantly goes, with a tearful depart, or they’re forced to by the tol.

They had to go, for them to at least have a chance.

And of course I would need my happy ending after all of that because I simply can’t have it any other way ghnghg

I don’t know if anyone’s thought of / posted about this before but hear me out.

The human had moved in a few months ago and so far, nothing had been off. They had a regular schedule and were just careless enough to leave out scraps of food for the borrower to get to. When December hit, however, it was like they’d become a completely different person. Their organizational skills took the wheel as they carefully crafted their Christmas aesthetic with candles, lights, garlands, stockings, and a generously trimmed tree. They’d left an hour ago, muttering something about a wreath, which gave the borrower an opportunity to explore the living room. It looked vastly different with its holiday display in full force and they were determined to look at everything. They lose track of time, wandering around until they make their way to the mantle over the fireplace. Red candles that smell of cinnamon, ginger, and pine rest just in front of an evergreen garland woven with white, sparkling lights. They walk down, sniffing each and every candle when the front door unlocks. They’d been out for far too long, decorations having kept their attention away from the clock and passing of time. They panic and turn to run towards the nearest hole in the wall when they trip, falling head first into the stocking hanging just below them. The human comes inside, setting bags of evergreen, holly, and craft supplies down onto the floor. As still as the borrower tries to be, the slow, swaying motion of the stocking catches the human’s attention…

Let’s just talk about font sizes and the relevance the pose to gt dialogue. So a tiny and a giant are having a conversation, and in order to really emphasize the size difference you can make the font smaller or larger, for example:

“No, please don’t be scared, I’m just the wholesome kind giant everyone loves”

“But your scary and I’m a generic tiny who has trama and trust issues”

My point exactly, the larger font makes it easier to understand both povs. Anywho, hope this little snippet helped you in some way.

Another idea I had when I should have been asleep. (I’m currently writing this out very late and I’m gonna post tomorrow so pls excuse me if there are errors) A tol enters a town, and everybody panics and everything, but the tol means no harm, and tries to calm everyone down, say they come in peace. For reason someone takes a moment to pause and be like “wait a minute… can you lift this up?” The thing is really heavy, requiring multiple people of their size to lift. Or maybe the thing that the giant was asked to help with was something the smols were already having a problem with before they showed up, and one of the villagers just has a eureka moment The tol is like “Umm… sure?” And goes to reach for and easily lift up said object. Everybody sees this and gasps as they witness their strength. They realize that sure, this tol is big and scary, but they can lift heavy things!! That’s useful! And.. they did say they come in peace… hmmmmm…. Maybeeee…. they’ll give this giant a chance, IF they help out with more useful stuff like that! The giant agrees, perhaps even amused by the requests but not minding it, and it just starts up this cute partnership of a tol being the little townsfolk helper, forming a bond with everybody along the way. i was kind of either thinking of this taking place in medieval times, or a modern human perhaps coming across a tiny, more “primitive” species

Has anyone ever been like.

What if I find a borrower at work?

What do I do?

I can’t tell anyone

But I’m surrounded by customers and coworkers

Do I just pretend I didn’t see them?

Should I put them on the h cage and pick something up with them so they don’t get seen?

Cause I don’t want to leave them there in case someone finds them, cause I don’t know what’d they’d do

What if they think they’re a rat or a kid finds them and thinks they’re a doll or something?

My gods if a kid finds them I will drop kick that kid to protect the smol bean. I will lose my job to save them.

Trying to figure out a way to be not suspicious whilst working on the selling floor to protect a borrower. It’s seems incredibly hard, especially when you don’t want to scare them but you do anyways, just because even seeing you acknowledging them is terrifying, imagine them not even noticing you and then all of a sudden being caved in by a massive hand from behind you, your only warning is an approaching shadow.

But you also know there isn’t time to explain what’s happening and why you’re doing it. You can’t tell them it’s going to be ok and that you’re not gonna hurt them because people and co workers and cameras 😰

So you just kinda have to grab them I guess and put them in an empty tray on the h cage and hope for the best. Maybe escaping to the tea room at some point to try and comfort them and make sure you yourself aren’t actually crazy. Cause I know I would feel like I’m insane and probably just extremely tired since I work nights most of the time anyways.

And than where do you put them?

Do you let them go outside?

Do you take them with you?

Can you give them that choice?

Or is it too dangerous to do so?

Do you just take them and leave them in a bush somewhere with no words exchanged at all?

I don’t know

These are just the thoughts I’m having right now while I wait for work to start up to keep my awake
