“Gojo, we really should go back. It’s still a Grade 1 Curse and--”

“Hai hai~ but Keiko-chan~ they have some freshly baked mooncakes for autumn coming in just now!” as the white-haired man shifted your shoulders to see the back of the room of the shop. Just barely whiffing the smell of hot, sweet red bean filling.

Of course a few minutes wouldn’t hurt to buy the seasonal treat.

After a long selection of each flavor in the shop, Gojo finally left with his two bags of “souvenirs.” At his suggestion, he knew the area enough for a shortcut which cut through the busiest part of the city, the shopping block. Luckily for Y/N the 190cm white-haired man was not that hard to lose in a crowd. But, Y/N couldn’t help this oddly brief nervousness when he would lean back to look over his shoulder to check if you were right behind him, his crystalline eyes peeking at the corner of his shades.

That was the third time he looked back and Y/N was confused with herself, so she quickly averted her face to the side to see the colorful flashes of neon. With her pace slowing down, Gojo detected and stopped to go back. Seeing the girl sending questioning looks at the arcade.

So they really do keep ya locked up, huh?

Barely feeling his presence, Gojo yanked Y/N’s wrist to cross the street, straight towards the game place with sparse rebel high-schoolers.

“They can wait a few more minutes,” he smirked over his shoulder.

a few moments later

Ieiri was getting worried. Not because Gojo ran off to probably get his sugar fix. No, it’s because he took Y/N into the city to bid whatever his deed was. While Ieiri was sitting on an abandoned newspaper stand, Suguru felt a silent vibration in his pocket.

Good thing he had Y/N‘s notifications on for her location (But he also had his friends, too, of course). When he sent his message, another popped right below. It was so subtle and gone in an instant, but Shoko caught it as she was snooping a glance at his phone. Suguru’s shoulders tensed up after reading—no, seeing—Satoru’s photo. An excited Y/N, (e/c) eyes locked on the game console. Like a candid, day out photo.

“Hey Geto, you alright?”

“Hm?” he responded without looking at Shoko. “Yeah, just not liking the idea these two idiots are dumping all the work on us while they mess around.”

Knowing between the two best friends, Geto does tend to want to finish the jobs more compared to Gojo; so, Shoko quietly nodded her head in agreement as they walk towards the direction of their slacking members.

fun facts:

the mooncakes were getting cold, so gojo got impatient with y/n and quickly exorcised the grade 1 curse (obvs ticking y/n off)

suguru and ieiri were down to cover for y/n (since she has never been to an arcade) but gojo was true to his word

yaga was about to...inflict...an intense punishment but the others explained gojo’s sly motives so, y/n and gojo had to face the wall on their knees while lifting 9kg of cursed dolls
