Up For A Challenge
Tumblr media
Summary: A typical morning on the beach ends with the promise of more. Bingo Squares: Idiots in Love @thebo3bingo // idiots in love - resa’s 3k // mutual pining spnfluffbingo // sparks fly @anyfandomfluffbingo Words: 1352 Warnings: Idiots in love Credits: @ryebecca for the gorgeous moodboard header // @princessmisery666 for the beta A/N: Originally, Jess asked for Honeymoon Harrison but I have a honeymoon idea with Beau so she gets idiots in love. And boy are they idiots. They’re lucky they have Chloe. A/N 2: The Murlocs is a real band (are a real band?). They do a lot of surf rock if that’s what you’re into!
Tumblr media
The Hawaiian sun beat down upon the sand, heating up the early morning as it rose. Harrison rode wave after wave while his sister, Chloe, lounged on the shore with a cup of coffee and a book. The beach was sparsely populated, a few other surfers, a few other loungers, a few people jogging. Harrison broke the surface after wiping out, shaking the water out of his hair and catching a glimpse of the girl that worked across the street from the record shop, Rachel, taking a few pictures of the sunrise.
He trudged through the waves to the shore, his eyes focused on the photographer. He stood his board in the sand next to Chloe and faced the sea. His gaze kept wandering to Rachel as she made her way towards them. He had been eyeing her for weeks, seeing her in the bookshop window across the street, grinning shyly when Cooper called him out.
Chloe was not immune to the gaze of her brother. She knew he had a thing for Rachel and she knew that it was reciprocated. She’d tried to encourage him to ask her out daily but he always insisted that he had no idea what she was talking about. There was one sure-fire way to get him to agree, though. “Are you up for a challenge?” Chloe asked with a smirk.
“Always,” Harrison replied enthusiastically as he faced her.
“Go ask Rachel out.”
“Uh, no,” he refused, turning his gaze back to the sunrise. “I don’t want to disturb her.”
“When have you ever disturbed her? You go into the shop like four times a week just to see her.”
“I do not. I go to look for a book,” he denied, crossing his arms over his chest, refusing to look over at his sister.
“You have never bought a book in your life.”
“I read! Comics. Sometimes.”
“First of all, I never said you didn’t read. Secondly, you made my point. You go into the shop to see her all the time. Why not go talk to her now?” Chloe pressed her brother for more information, noticing the way his gaze darted over to Rachel before quickly returning to the sunrise.
“I…she’s busy.”
“Harrison, you’re an absolute moron,” Chloe sighed.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean you’re absolutely head over heels in love with her but you won’t ask her out.”
“She doesn’t like me like that.” His shoulders slumped and his head drooped and Chloe saw just how much he believed that.
“God, you really are stupid. Do you think it’s a coincidence that she leaves at the same time as you every day? That she lets you walk her to her street? That she spends her lunch break in the shop with you? That she has never once told you she’s too busy to talk when you go into the shop, even when she’s with a customer? She’s in love with you, too!”
“She is not,” he insisted as he turned back towards her.
“Oh my god,” she muttered with a roll of her eyes. “Hey, Rachel,” Chloe yelled, fully irritated with the amount of stupidity Harrison was displaying.
Harrison tried to shush his sister but Rachel was already heading over.
“Hey guys,” she chirped, “what’s up?”
“Chloe, don’t,” Harrison hissed.
“We have two tickets to see The Murlocs tonight and I can’t go. Would you want to go with Harrison?”
“I’d love to! They’re one of my favorite bands,” Rachel smiled.
“Chloe!” Harrison exclaimed quietly as he stepped up behind her, his leg pulled back by the tether on his surfboard.
“The show starts at eight,” Chloe continued, lifting her hand to cover her brother’s protests. “How about you meet him at the record store at six and he can take you on a dinner date before your concert date?”
Rachel suppressed a giggle when she saw how red Harrison’s face had gotten. His beautiful blue eyes were wide with surprise and when they met hers, Rachel ducked her head and bit her lip before turning her attention back to Chloe. “I would love to.”
“Perfect.” Chloe jotted down Harrison’s number on a piece of paper and thrust it into Rachel’s hand. “I’ll make sure he looks like an adult.”
“It’s fine,” Rachel insisted. “I like the down to earth look anyway.” This time, Rachel held Harrison’s gaze with a shy smile for a moment before giving them a slight wave and walking away, looking back to see Harrison staring after her with a huge grin.
She turned the corner and Chloe elbowed her brother, facing him with a knowing smirk. “I told you so.”
“Uh huh,” he replied automatically. His brain was already detailing ways to make this the first of many memorable evenings for them.
At five minutes to six, Rachel turned the corner to the block the record shop was on and froze. “I can’t do this,” she muttered, “this is just a joke. A prank. He didn’t even say - No.” She took a deep breath and stepped forward. “It’s not a joke. It’s real. It will be amazing. I get to see The Murlocs and have dinner with the hottie I’ve been eyeing for weeks.”
As soon as she made it to the shop, the door swung open and Harrison stepped out wearing khaki shorts and a white henley, an outfit that not only looked fantastic on him but went well with her jeans and The Murlocs tee. A lopsided grin adorned his face as he walked the few steps towards her.
“I wasn’t sure you’d come,” he admitted, “Chloe is kind of pushy at times.”
“If you’re not okay with this, I -”
“No, that’s not it at all!” he interrupted, his ocean blue eyes widening. “I’ve, uh, god how do I say this without sounding creepy?” He rubbed the back of his neck with his hand and cleared his throat before continuing. “I’ve been kinda watching you from the record shop.”
“That’s not supposed to sound creepy?”
“I don’t mean it creepily. At first it was because you were pretty, which you definitely still are but you’re also really interesting. Every day you have a different book and it’s never the same genre. You’ve always got a smile on your face when you’re dealing with customers and you interact with the kids and -”
“Harrison, it’s okay. You don’t have to explain why you were watching,” she giggled. “We work across the street from each other. It’s not like I didn’t notice you, too.”
“You did?”
“Yeah. I mean, you’re pretty hard to miss.”
“So Chloe’s right, then.”
“Right about what?”
“That you like me, too.”
“Yes, she’s right.”
“I guess I owe her a thank you.”
“Can we go out first?”
“How about we skip to the end?”
“Oh?”
Harrison closed the distance between them and lifted her chin with his finger, ducking down to capture her lips softly, his own mouth moving tentatively against hers. Her eyes fluttered shut and her hands rested gently on his chest as she leaned in to the kiss. The moment came to a natural end and neither of them moved, both committing the moment to memory before their eyes opened slowly.
“Wow,” he whispered, “that was better than I imagined.”
“I’m glad I could live up to expectations.”
Harrison chuckled and stepped back, letting his hand fall from her chin.
“So this is the end of the date?” she repeated with a smirk.
“I didn’t mean -”
“Good, because there’s no way I’m missing that show.”
“Is that all I’m good for? Tickets to a show?” he gasped, his hand slapping his chest in mock offense.
“What am I? Shallow?” she scoffed. “I get dinner, too.”
He laughed, a deep sound rising from his chest making him throw his head back. “That’s right, you were promised dinner.”
“I was promised dinner and a show with you,” she clarified, “but if you’re not up to the challenge.”
“Oh no, I’m up for the challenge. Just making sure you were okay with the terms.”
“I insist upon them.”
“Good. I know the perfect place.”

Lost In Translation // Deployments and Gravsides
Tumblr media
Warning: Angst, cursing
Collaboration w/: @alltimereverie
Bradley Bradshaw as Noah
Bob Floyd as Harrison
Snake In The Grass | Masterlist
A few days later, I drove him to the docks, where he joined with the rest of his team. Katy never called him, but he went home the next day to find her gone. Her stuff was still there but he could tell she packed a bag. “You’ll be okay?” He asked and nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. “This is like my fourth deployment with you. I’ll be fine, you on the other hand…” He rolled his eyes, knowing the next words coming out of my mouth. “No unnecessary stunts, no reckless flying, and please don’t push it too hard. I don’t want to hear about how you bent the frame!” He laughed at me, knowing I would be the one to hear about it. “Okay, okay. I won’t. I will be careful, I always am.” I glared at him knowing damn well that was a lie. A horn went off from the ship, signaling they had five minutes before they had to board.
He pulled me into a hug, squeezing my shoulders. “You sure you’ll be okay?” I nodded. “I’ll cry off and on for a few months but as long as you come home, I think I'll be okay in the long run.” He chuckled and pulled away, his eyes glancing past me. I turned to find Katy getting out of her car, dressed in a gray pants suit and tears streaming down her face. Noah squeezed my hand before stepping around me to go to her. It felt like a part of my heart broke off, because no matter how much I’m here for him, no matter what I do for him. He will always go to her for the love that I could so easily give him. I bit my lip as he took her face in his palms, kissing her and wiping her tears.
I turned away not wanting to watch anymore, my eyes focusing on the vast ocean ahead, where he would spend the next six months. He would probably ask me to look in on her and truth be told, I would simply because he asked. But I couldn’t go over there every day and just sit with her, I couldn’t and I wouldn’t. She has to find her own way to deal with this if she wants to be with him long term. I cleared my throat as I heard them walking up behind me, stopping next to me, her hands wrapped around his bicep. “Hey.” I whispered and she gave me a small smile. “I want to apologize about last night. I just got a little insecure and I never should’ve said any of those things to you.” Noah looked to her and then to me, expectantly. “Apology accepted.” I really wanted to tell her to burn in hell but I wouldn’t cause a scene here, not when he’s about to leave. He smiled at me, “Would you mind looking in on her while I’m away?” There it was, the question I knew was coming. “It’s just, this is her first deployment with me and I want to make sure she’s okay.” I pursed my lips and nodded. “Of course.”
The horn blew again and he frowned, looking as everyone lined up to board the ship. “That’s the last call, I better go.” He said as he picked up his duffel. He pulled me into another hug, me squeezing him a little as tears built up. “Don’t get into too much trouble while I’m gone? I won’t be here to bail you out of jail if you do something stupid.” I laughed at his words. “I won’t.” He smiled and turned to Katy. I turned away again as he pulled her into another kiss. “I love you.” Tears streamed down my face at his words. I had never heard him say it but they have been together for seven months. “I love you too, come home safe, okay?” I turned back as he kissed her temple and turned to me, grabbing my hand and squeezing it before turning towards the ship. “I love you guys!” He yelled, throwing his hand up in the crowd of people. “We love you too!” Katy yelled back and I wanted to smack her. “How do you do it, Liz? How do you deal with him being gone for so long?” She asked as she wiped her tears away. “I lean on people. Most people here know what it’s like, so it’s easy to find people who understand.” I said turning and walking back to my car, my tears painting the ground as I walked.
I checked in on her like Noah asked. But mainly over text or call. I didn’t want to go to his- their house, I couldn’t bring myself to be around her. When she texts me, it’s only complaining about how he’s gone. It’s like the girl can’t make friends or find things to do other than pester me. A part of me did feel for her though, it’s hard when he’s gone. My life always feels a little empty without him here and I can imagine it feels the same for her. Soon I had to limit our contact because she wanted to talk to me constantly and I just couldn’t. So I ignored texts and calls and lunch invites, not wanting to be around her. I forgave her for her harsh words and blatant truths, but that didn’t mean I forgot, or that it didn’t sting any less.
But finally, the anniversary of Carol’s passing came around. Harrison and I have been spending a lot of time together, but I told him I would be busy today and that I probably wouldn’t answer any texts or calls. I packed some lunch and a blanket before swinging by the florist for fresh yellow, white, and purple chrysanthemums. Carol's favorite color for yellow and chrysanthemums are a sign of love. She was like another mom to me, always there for me. I come out here by myself on occasion, or Noah and I would bring fresh flowers together. But on this date, he usually came alone, that’s what he wanted. Once I arrived, I grabbed my bag and the flowers, walking up to the dual gravestone where his parents rested, smiling. I put the flowers in the holder and laid out the blanket. Soon I pulled off my shoes and sat down, the spring Virginia breeze blowing by. “You’d be proud of him.” I said. It should feel weird talking to someone who isn’t here anymore, but right now it feels… right. “I know you didn’t want him following his dad’s footsteps. But just like his dad, he’s the best of the best.” I muttered as I pulled out the food I packed.
I took a picture and emailed it to Noah. I knew he wouldn’t see it for awhile but it was there when he got the chance to look. I spent the day lying there, reading a book, eating, talking to the sky. When evening rolled around and a chill filled the air, I heard footsteps. I turned my head to see Katy walking up. “I didn’t expect to see you here.” She muttered, lifting her sunglasses to the top of her head. “Noah asked me to be here today, fresh flowers and what not.” She nodded, staring at the roses in her hand. “I uh, didn’t know what to get.” A part of me wanted to be mad she showed up, but I couldn’t. She cared enough to show up for him, to bring flowers for a woman she never met. “Here.” I said as I held out my hand. She handed me the small batch of roses and I worked them in with the Chrysanthemums. After that I stood, folding the blanket and grabbing my bag. “What was she like? It’s sometimes hard for Noah to talk about her.”
I smiled, tears gathering in my eyes. “Full of life. Even after his dad passed, she was all smiles and fun. She was always up to something, trying to make Noah’s childhood as fun and memorable as possible.” She nodded, wiping a few stray tears. I looked at her before turning and heading to my car. “Liz!” She called, rushing over. I set my bag in the car before turning to her as she came to a stop in front of me. “Do you- are you still mad at me?” I huffed, resting my arms on the car door and looking at her. “I forgave you. What you said had some truth to it. But that doesn’t mean I have to forget. Those words, they still hurt. So, I guess you can say I’m still a little mad. But Katy, we will never be friends. Since you and Noah started dating, I never thought we could be. I wanted to try, I really did for his sake. But what you said to me, proved that you and I could never be friends.” I said before getting in the car, leaving her in my rearview mirror.

dip you in honey (so i could be sticking to you)
synopsis: harrison drinks honey lattes and has big hands.
pairing: harrison knott x emma coves (oc)
warnings: 18+, minors and ageless blogs dni, swearing, explicit smut (semi-public sex – in the back of a coffee shop, which is probably some sort of health and safety violation; harrison also eats it from the back; dirty talk and praise and overuse of pet names and all that good stuff because it's him) (wc: 3K)
note: i named the fic after daylight by harry styles, and i named emma after chateau lobby #4 by father john misty because "you left a note in your perfect script, stay as long as you want, and i haven't left you bed since" is such a harrison coded lyric. enjoy! 💛
Tumblr media
Golden sunlight follows after him as Harrison ducks into Bluebird Coffee, his presence announced by the little gold bell that hangs above the door, a joyful chime.
Emma watches him make his way to the counter with her balled fists shoved in the pockets of her robin's egg blue apron, one of the many spots of bright color in the small, color-packed space. A string of incandescent bulbs glow above her head – as cheery and bright as the wide smile that fills Emma's freckled face at the sight of her boyfriend.
He looks good, so good.
A half-a-size-too-small shirt stretches deliciously snug across his broad shoulders and wide abdomen – across muscles firmed by years of surfing and heavy lifting. It's an ocean blue that makes his pretty blue eyes shine and gleam, like bursts of sunshine, dancing on a building wave.
He looks so good, in fact that Emma almost forgets to be surprised to see him.
Her dark brows dip ever-so-slightly as Emma peers up at him with a shy smile. "Hey you. Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
He works down the street at Lost and Found – an eclectic record store that somehow always manages to have rare pressings of her favorite records.
Emma had just started working at Bluebird when Harrison started coming in – and later, Harrison admitted to spotting her in the window and wanting an excuse to talk to her. She remembered him and his order almost immediately: the cute and charming regular with the ocean blue eyes who always orders a Red Eye and chokes it down at the counter like a man in severe pain.
After a while, Emma took pity on him.
She convinced him to expand his horizons and move him away from his usual Red Eye  – a brewed coffee with a shot of espresso, basically a panic attack in a cup, Emma gently explained to him – and you know... drink coffee he’d actually like.
Lately, Harrison's been partial to a honey latte.
He loves to order them in this one particular way.
"Can I get a honey latte from my honey?" Harrison asks with a lopsided grin, nacho levels of cheese in his deep voice. He's so... stupid and adorable, and Emma's so damn fond of him.
She makes a big show of her rolling her brown eyes, but really, she adores him, and Harrison damn well knows it.
Grabbing a wide-mouth jar from the row of clean glasses and multi-colored pastel mugs, Emma gets to work.
It's a ritual Emma knows well. Two shots of espresso. One cup of oat milk. Two heaping tablespoons of honey because after years of consuming coffee purely for the caffeine, Harrison likes his drinks on the sweeter side now.
She fills the glass with ice, pours in the milk and espresso respectively, and gives it a quick dusting of cinnamon for a pinch of something extra.
She slides it across the counter with a smile and bends forward to lean on her elbows, resting her chin on her bridged fingers and looking up at him through her dark lashes.
"Thanks, Em," Harrison says warmly, fondly.
Her boss usually isn't in on the weekends, but just in case, Emma looks around for her, craning her neck and checking her corners. She doesn't see her anymore so Emma dares to sit on the edge of the counter and dash a quick kiss across Harrison's lips.
He tastes like sea salt and sunscreen and honey.
His lips part in a smile. A warm, radiant smile that warms her down to her toes and makes her feel like Emma's been down at the beach, laying in the sun for hours, and not in the AC-chilled shop since the crack of dawn.
"What're you doing here?" Emma asks him with a grin. She can still feel the pleasant scrape of his stubble on her chin. "Taking a break?"
He is still smiling, lip pulled between his teeth. "A storm's coming so Cooper's closing the shop at noon, and I didn't want my girl biking home in the rain." My girl. Her grin is stupid wide. "Thought I'd hang here and watch you work and drive you home after your shift." A hint of mischief quirks the edge of his lip. "Unless I'll be distracting?"
"You?" Emma feigns shock. "Distracting? Never."
Smiling to herself, Emma goes back to the register to help the customer who is coming in, and Harrison finds an empty stool at the counter to drink his coffee.
But damn, Harrison really is distracting.
She can feel his flame blue eyes on her, burning hot, and – when she reaches up to grab more coffee grounds from one of the high shelves – on the hem of her dress, sliding up the backs of her legs.
She's wearing shorts underneath, but god, Harrison's smoldering attention makes her kind of wish she wasn't wearing anything at all underneath.
So okay, Emma's a little distracted. But really, it's fine.
She breaks one of the for-here mugs and sloshes almond milk all over the edge of the counter and onto the floor because Harrison is here with his big biceps and his broad, freckled shoulders and his knowing smile and his slutty gold chain.
And god, all Emma can think about is this morning when Harrison woke her up with his head between her legs, pressing an enthusiastic trail of wet, open-mouthed kisses across the insides of her thighs, mouthing messily at the dampening fabric of her panties until her searching fingers found their way into his silky hair with a breathy, half-awake moan.
God, Harrison, please, Harrison, oh-oh-oh my god...
He pulled her spit-soaked panties down to her knees and worked her open with his clever mouth and his big fingers and wouldn't let her have his beautiful cock until Emma begged him.
Please, Harrison, please, I need it, ah-oh, need you, need...
"There. That's better, isn't it, honey?" Harrison cooed against her shoulder, pushing into her from behind, his grip on her hips just shy of bruising. He was so big, stretching her around him, so gorgeous, moving slowly so Emma could get used to his size.
He was pressed to her back, warm and absolutely everywhere, and sweat dotted her brow, beading and running down the side of her neck. He's always so much, so good.
He seized her hair with one hand and tugged her head to the side, licking a stripe up the side of her neck, licking the sweat from her skin. "God, honey, you're dripping all over my cock, absolutely soaking." He rolled his hips, moved slow slow slow. "That feel good, honey? You're taking it so well, baby..."
Iced coffee runs over and spills over the sides of the glass and down the back of her hand, shocking her from the daydream, and Emma swears under her breath. She wipes the puddle from the counter with a wad of paper towels and presses the back of her clean hand to her forehead.
Jesus. Is it warm in here?
She feels warm.
And also sticky.
It's fine.
Her fourth alarm – or the back-up-to-the-back-up alarm – rang as Emma was about to fall over the precipice Harrison was painstakingly working her toward with his hand between her legs, all but folding her in half on the mattress.
And Emma had to shower and go to work before Harrison could make good on his promise to make her come around his cock, but it's... fine.
Harrison drums his fingers on the sunshine yellow counter and noticing her eyes on him, gives her a long and borderline inappropriate-for-public once-over. He ends his appraisal with a cheeky smile, crinkled blue eyes glimmering knowingly.
It's really so fine.
Tumblr media
Her shift passes agonizingly slowly, and by the time Harrison follows her into the back at a quarter-after-one, Emma's coming out of her skin. She is fidgeting endlessly, running the sun-shaped charm on her gold necklace up and down the length of the chain, gathering her shoulder-length dark curls one-handed against her nape and letting them down again.
"Which locker's yours?" Harrison asks conversationally.
But Emma's so done with conversations.
Ignoring the question, Emma grabs the collar of his shirt with both hands and pushes him into the nearest locker and kisses him.
She catches the corner of his mouth more than anything else, an inelegant mash of lips and stubble, because she caught him off guard and he's so damn tall that he really needs to bend down to meet her, but it doesn't really matter; she just needs to be closer to him.
His big arms wrap around her, lifting her onto her tiptoes, as Harrison deepens the kiss and swallows the half-moan that escapes her mouth. She'd probably be embarrassed except Emma's so fucking wound up that Harrison could probably rock her down on his broad thigh and make her explode.
"Someone missed me," Harrison croons, pulling back with his hand on the front of her neck, his broad fingers spread wide. "It's only been a few hours, honey."
He grins, and god, Harrison really is so handsome, big and strong, strands of sun-kissed hair curling at the ends, cheeks ruddy from sun and laughter. His eyes darken as Harrison really drinks her in.
And what a sight she must be, practically drooling over him, needing him so badly, so desperately.
"Fuck me," she whispers against his mouth, voice husky, and Harrison shudders, practically crushing her against his hard abdomen.
"Here?" Harrison asks, a mix of disbelieving and unbelievably turned on. "Don't you want to go home?"
It's so cute of him to ask – so scandalized, as if Harrison hasn't fucked her on the beach multiple times by now, laying her out under a blanket of stars on the longest night of the year.
She kisses up his neck, his strong neck, nibbling at the constellation of freckles and beauty marks on his tan skin. Licks the next words against his hammering pulse, against the width of his shoulder. "I can't wait, baby, I need you right now. I'm so fucking wet for you, Harrison, please."
"Jesus," Harrison groans.
A large hand presses in between her shoulder blades, bringing her closer, bending her into him, and Harrison's leg slides in between hers, pushing at the hem of her dress.
He makes quick work of the apron around her waist, crumpling it into a ball and flinging it away from them without looking. She'll need to look for it later, but right now, Emma doesn't care because Harrison is running his hands over the soft fabric of her dress, over the curve of her hips, palms hot and burning like an iron.
"Is this dress new?" Harrison asks, so casual, so patient. "I haven't seen it before."
God. He can be such a fucking tease sometimes.
"Who cares about the dress?" Emma snaps.
He only chuckles, a low and gravelly sound, rich like good coffee. "Don't be impatient, honey."
He reserves their positions so Harrison can press her against the locker. His rough palm slowly slides up her leg, lingering on her ass, squeezing hard enough to make her gasp, until Harrison is cupping her through the spandex shorts. Her head drops back against the metal with a dull clang.
"Ow," Emma breathes, more surprised than in pain.
He pauses immediately and asks, "You okay?"
"Mhm," she hums, not trusting herself to form real words right now, and he presses a tender kiss against her temple and works his way over to her ear.
“You’re soaked, honey. I can feel it through the shorts,” Harrison murmurs, hot against her ear. A purposeful flex of his fingers makes her whimper, pressing in the exact right spots through the layers of fabric, and Emma rocks into his hand. "Oh, baby..." He sighs into her hair, stirring the curls. "You need it so bad, don't you?"
She nods, biting her lip so hard it almost hurts to hold back a loud moan.
Finally, Harrison slips his hand down the front of her shorts.
She holds onto his arm, sunflower yellow nails digging in, leaving half-moon circles in his skin, but Harrison doesn't seem to mind. He works his way underneath the scrap of lace, the only thing left between him and her dripping core.
One finger slips inside of her easily, and Emma can actually hear how wet she is. She grows warm, and Harrison swears again. "How's that, honey? That enough for you?"
Of course not, she wants to scream.
He knows the answer, but of course, Harrison wants to hear her say it out loud.
She grips his nape with one hand, running her fingers through his hair, mouth gaping open. "Another, please, Harrison, please."
He always likes that word, please.
Harrison adds another. And another.
He curls his fingers into her, swearing under his breath, murmuring sweet and filthy nothings about god, you're so wet for me, so responsive, baby, fucking perfect and all for me, my sweet and perfect girl.
He knocks her legs wider, pushing his strong thigh between hers again, knocking her off balance, and it's enough that Emma needs to lean into him even more. He's practically holding her up now, practically pinning her up against the locker, shielding her completely, just in case.
"God, I must be the luckiest man alive. You're so sweet, so wet for me, soaking my hand, honey," Harrison praises.
His wide palm grinds against her clit, sending a whole firework show's worth of sparks across her skin. A familiar feeling starts to wash over her, a kind of weightlessness, like Emma's floating on her back in the ocean.
"Such a needy little thing. You couldn't even wait for us to be alone, be home? Y'needed my fingers filling this needy pussy as soon as possible, didn't you?"
He doesn't need an answer, but still, Emma nods mindlessly, makes a kind of half-audible ye–holy shit–ah noise. She needs him to keep going, needs it like air.
His chest rumbles with a satisfied sound. "Don't worry, honey, I'll make it all better."
Moisture gathers in her eyes and streams from the corners, smearing her mascara, and Emma buries her face in his solid shoulder, looking for something to ground her. She inhales deep lungfuls of his familiar scent, citrus and sea salt and musk, breathing in the smell of the ocean that somehow always seems to cling to his clothes, to his skin.
Her mouth falls open in a muffled moan, which is mercifully drown out by the upbeat pop music her coworker Adrienne put on for the afternoon crowd.
Emma's never been more grateful for the downfall of One Direction and the subsequent launch of Harry Styles's solo career than in this exact moment. Thank fucking god.
Watching the door carefully, Harrison cradles the back of her head in the crook of his bulging arm, holding her close, and pumps his fingers in and out of her with obscenely wet sounds.
"Look at me," Harrison says. A gentle order.
Head swimming, Emma lifts her chin, eyes glazed over, and Harrison leans down and devours in her mouth in a ferocious and enthusiastic kiss.
His fingers work harder, rubbing her harder and faster, coaxing her over the edge. And when Emma whines against his mouth, so close, Harrison grows rougher in his ministrations, pinching at her clit with two fingers and not letting up as Emma goes off all over his hand, lips sealed against his, crying into his mouth.
He doesn't let up until Emma's sagging in his arms, shaking and over-sensitive.
A rosy pink flush spreads across his collarbone and up his neck as Harrison pulls his fingers out of her with a pornographic squelching sound.
His eyes are bright as Harrison looks down at her, gaze flicking between her glassy eyes and her mouth, kiss swollen. His voice comes out a little gravelly, a little hoarse, a little strained. "Was that good?"
A blissful nod, and Harrison's lips curve into a smirk.
"Good because I'm not done with you quite yet. Turn around."
Emma blinks at him, still dazed, and asks dumbly. "What?"
"Turn around," Harrison repeats, regarding her with half-lidded eyes, "so I can get on my knees and clean up the mess you've made of those pretty little panties with my tongue."
A shiver runs down her spine as Emma's brain catches up with his words. She faces the locker and rests her forehead on the cool metal and breathes.
"Stay real quiet for me, honey," is all he says before he drops to his knees and lifts her dress. "Can you hold this up for me?" She white-knuckles the fabric. "Good girl."
He peels off her shorts, then her soaked panties, slipping them into his pocket.
And hell, Emma really does want to stay quiet for him, but Harrison bends her forward ever-so-slightly and audibly groans at the sight of her. He parts her cunt with his fingers and leans in, licking into her with enthusiastic and searching strokes of his eager tongue, living up to his promise of licking her clean.
He grips her ass with both hands and spreads her even wider and when Harrison presses into her to circle her clit with his tongue, Emma's done for.
She slaps a hand over her mouth to muffle the sound of his name, shaking against his face and sagging forward, practically boneless.
He slowly stands and wipes his hand over his dripping chin and sucks his shining fingers – sticky like honey – into his mouth with a satisfied hum, deep in his chest, and hooks his hand around her jaw to pull her into a kiss.
She licks into his mouth. Licks her taste from his lips, relishing in his deep groan, seeing stars.
Half-slurred, Emma asks, "D'you want to go home now?"
She could use a nap – or four.
Harrison drops a wet, grinning kiss on her cheek and pulls her into his side, his arm over her shoulders.
"Yeah, honey. Let's go home."

Pretty Girl | Masterlist
It was official after that, Harrison and I were together and he loved telling anyone and everyone. The only place it wasn’t blatantly obvious was at work. But outside of work he held my hand, kissed me, and opened doors for me. Any time I met some of his friends or we met someone new he immediately introduced me as his ‘gorgeous girlfriend’ and it made me giddy like a little girl every time. We were together nearly every night, rotating out whose house we stayed at. We moved fast, but we couldn’t help it. He made me feel things I had never felt before and I didn’t want those feelings to stop. After work I had to run to the store for groceries, Harrison deciding to go with me. “Let’s just toss a pizza in the oven tonight.” He said as we walked through Costco. “Pizza does sound good.” He grabbed a frozen supreme pizza from the freezer, laying it in the buggy. It was supposed to be a simple shopping trip, but of course it was interrupted when we bumped into Katy.
“Liz?” I turned to see her standing across the aisle with a buggy of her own. “Oh, hi Katy.” I said with a fake smile. She hasn’t spoken to me since that day at the cemetery and I was perfectly fine with that. “How are you?” She asked and I nodded. “I’m okay. How are you?” I asked, just trying to be polite. “I’m handling it. It’s hard without Noah here, and even harder when I don’t know what’s going on.” I nodded. “Got your coffee, baby.” Harrison said as he walked by, pressing a kiss to my temple before setting the large container of coffee in the buggy. “Oh, Harrison. Hi.” She waved and he flashed her a smile. “Hey, Katy. Good to see you again.” It was all polite but I could tell he didn’t mean it. “You too. So are you two…?” I nodded. “We’re together.” He grinned wildly at my words. “My gorgeous girlfriend and I have been together for five weeks now.” I giggled as Katy smiled at us. “Aw, he even keeps up with how long you guys have been together! That’s so sweet! I wish Noah would do that. He tends to forget.” I nodded, about to end the conversation when she spoke up. “Noah told me you hung up on him a few weeks ago.” I nodded. “It was just a bad time.” She shrugged. “He told me he really wanted to talk to you.” I shrugged back. “Yeah, well he had multiple opportunities to call me and he didn’t. The one time he did, it wasn’t the best time.” She gave me a smile that screamed fake. “Well he gave up one of our phone calls to talk to you and you were rude.”
I was about to lose my temper on this bitch and I knew Harrison could tell, his fingers pressing into my back. “I’m not going to drop everything just because he calls. Believe it or not I have a life away from him, and I have other people in my life I enjoy spending my time with.” She scoffed, walking over and reaching onto the shelf behind me. “Really it seems like you found a play thing while Noah is gone and when he comes back, you’ll be all over him again. Just remember, I’m his girlfriend, not you.” Harrison watched us closely, knowing if she pushed, I would fly off the handle. “Maybe stop being a jealous bitch and you would see that I don’t want him and he doesn’t want me. You are the one who is acting paranoid and projecting it onto everyone else.” I said before I grabbed the buggy, pushing it away as I left her behind me. The rest of the shopping trip was quiet, and as we were loading the groceries into my car I looked to Harrison. “Do you worry about Noah and I?” I asked, propping my fists on my hips. He didn’t miss a beat, shaking his head as he put the last bag in the car. “Nope.” I nodded, taking a deep breath. “Why?” He just smiled at me. “You told him exactly what you were doing on the phone call. If you wanted a shot with him, you wouldn’t have mentioned me. Plus, you wouldn’t be wasting all your time with me, it’d be more of a fling.”
I took a deep breath, nodding before we got into the car. Once he backed out of the spot I grabbed his hand from the steering wheel, kissing his knuckles before resting our hands on the console. “Thank you for trusting me and believing me.” He smiled at me before turning his eyes back to the road. “Always pretty girl.” That night we went home and showered before I tossed the pizza in the oven while he poured some wine and searched for a movie. I smiled, crawling across his lap and laying down, my legs tossed over his. “Did you hear them announce that they were moving up the start of the F-19 project to next year?” He nodded, raising his brows at me. “Yep, you gonna apply?” I nodded. “Yeah. I mean, how amazing would it be to create the next generation of fighter jets?” He had a look in his eyes that I couldn;t describe, but his grin was taking up over half of his face. “You’re a shoo-in for it, Lizzy.” He said, leaning over and kissing me. “You think?” He nodded, pulling me close. “I know it.” He said before kissing my nose.
A few more weeks went by in bliss, we’d go to work, come home, he’d hold me as he nuzzled his nose into my cheek. We were practically inseparable. "Fuck." He moaned as I was grinding on his lap. His tongue licked into my mouth, the makeout session getting heavier and heavier. His large hands held my waist and mine went into his hair. "Come on." I said, leaning back and yanking the t-shirt off him, dragging my hand across his chiseled chest. My lips found the spot under his ear, sucking on it as he pulled me closer. My phone started ringing, but I didn't care, too busy working my way down my boyfriends neck, searching for that spot that drives him wild. "It's Noah." He gasped as I licked across his clavicle. "Don't care." I whispered, working my way down his chest. I squealed as he pulled me close, forcing me to pull my lips away from his chest as he did. He leaned forward, grabbing my phone and holding it out as he sat back.
"Answer it." I furrowed my brows in confusion. "I really don't want to." He raised a brow at me. "You've been pissed about the Katy thing for a few weeks now. Say something to him." I groaned, knowing he was right. I took the phone, attempting to stand before he pulled me back down, holding me on his lap. "Uh uh, you stay right here where I need you." I smiled at him before answering the phone. "Hello?" There was a groan on the other end. "About time you answered! I thought I wouldn't get through to you!" I rolled my eyes as Harrison planted his lips on my cheek. "Well I was a little busy." Harrison bit his lip, dropping his head to my shoulder. "Oh, you with Harrison again?" I nodded. "Yeah, you're being a massive cock block right now." I said, winking at Harrison. "Good." I rolled my eyes. "So are you gonna hang up on me like our last phone call?" I shook my head. "No cause I think we have a few things to talk about."
"Like what?" "Like you telling Katy about our last phone call." He just groaned on the other end. "Next time you wanna bitch to your girlfriend about me, maybe make sure she's not gonna stop me in the grocery store and say something." I heard a rustling on the other side, like something fell over. "What did she say?" He asked. "Oh a few things. She told me I was rude for hanging up on you because you gave up one of her phone calls to talk to me. She called Harrison a 'play thing', just someone to keep me entertained until you come home. She said that in front of Harrison by the way. She was quick to remind me that she was your girlfriend and not me. So, I called her a jealous bitch and told her to quit projecting her insecurities on everyone else."
He groaned and I could practically see him pulling on his hair. "I wish you wouldn't have called her a bitch." "Oh, so it's okay for her to corner me in the store and insult me and my boyfriend?" "What? No! Liz, it just stirs up more trouble." I knew I'd sound like a child, but I had to say it. "Yeah, well she started it and I don't appreciate her stirring up trouble in my relationship. Next time you tell her about our problems, better make sure she doesn't say shit about it to me." Harrison grinned, kissing up my neck. Immediately my body felt like it was on fire and it made it hard to concentrate on the conversation. "Liz. I'm sorry, I was just frustrated and was venting to her. I never expected her to say something about it." Fuck, his voice was soft and it made it so hard to not just forgive him. "I appreciate the apology, but you better get your girlfriend in check before I do it."
"Okay. I gotta go Liz, love you." I bit my lip, looking down at Harrison who had his lips attached to my neck. "Bye, Noah." I said before ending the call and tossing my phone across the couch. "I'm proud of you." He whispered in my ear before nipping it. I moaned, my head falling back so he had access to my throat. "You're so sexy when you stand up for yourself." He licked up my throat, causing a shiver to run up my spine. “Hm, I was standing up for you too.” He smirked against my throat, his hands pawing at my back. “Fuck, that makes you even sexier.” He said as he stood before gently placing me on my back on the couch. He reached up the back of my shirt, undoing my bra with one hand before pulling my shirt and bra off all at once. As soon as he discarded the clothing his lips attacked my breasts, licking, nipping, sucking. I was a moaning mess, arching my back just trying to get closer to him. He ground his pelvis against mine, allowing me to feel him through his jeans. “Feel what you do to me?” He muttered as he nuzzled his nose into my cheek, a moan escaping me. “Yeah.” He chuckled, capturing my lips with his as he unbuttoned my shorts, pushing them down my legs. In return I pushed his jeans down his own legs. We tossed those who knows where as we rushed out of our underwear. “Fuck. Harrison, please.” I whined as he tossed my right leg over his shoulder, grabbing my left leg and holding it out. “I got you, pretty girl. I promise.” He lined himself up, kissing me as he slipped in. “Oh.” I moaned, the stretch stinging deliciously as he slowly bottomed out.
“Feel like fucking heaven around me.” He said as he gently gripped my neck, rolling his hips into mine. My head was hazy and all I could think about was how amazing it felt when he fucked me. “You like that, baby? Huh?” I could only nod as one hand gripped his wrist, the other scratching along the back of his shoulder. “Yes. Fuck, Harrison.” He moaned as I said his name, kissing along my neck. His hand holding my ankle let go, opting to slowly rub my clit. A high pitched moan escaped my lips as he did it, but slowly turned into a whine as he slowed down. “You look fucking ethereal under me.” He said as he slowly fucked me. “I’m not gonna last long.” I cried as he continued rubbing my clit. “Then cum, pretty girl. Cum around my cock.” I just moaned as my chest heaved, pleasure pooling in my belly. “Fuck! Fuck!” I cried as he sped up, slamming into me. “Come on, baby. That’s it, be a good girl for me.” The rope in my belly snapped. My head flew back as my toes curled. “Oh fuck!” He quickly pulled out, his release covering my belly. He rubbed my clit, dragging out my orgasm as he moaned. I had to push his hands away, my legs shaking from the over stimulation. “Yeah, definitely sexy when you stand up to someone.” He said as he buried his face in my neck, making me giggle. He laid his body weight on me, his head resting on my chest as I ran one hand up his back, the other scratching his scalp. “I think I’m in love with you.” My eyes flew open, looking down at him to see he wasn’t looking at me. “You don’t have to-” “I think I’m in love with you too.” He smiled, placing a kiss to my chest before he wrapped his arms around me, and for a minute, in our own little bubble. We were at peace.

Better Than I Imagined | Masterlist
He leaves in four days. Another deployment, another six months of wondering what to do with myself in my free time. I straightened out the navy tea length dress as I knocked on the door. It took a moment before it swung open, revealing Katy’s blonde hair and a large smile gracing her face. “Oh! Liz, we are so glad you could make it! Come in! Come in!” I stepped inside, feeling weird that I didn’t just walk through the door. I went to walk into the living room when Katy slipped past me, holding her arms out. “Ta-da!”
Oh my god. She changed everything since she moved in. The entertainment center was no longer filled with movies Noah and I loved, and pictures of us and our friends. It had flowers, books and pictures of him and her. The only picture of us still there was in the back and it was from junior year of high school. He had just hit the winning home run for the baseball team and his mom caught a picture of us, mid hug.
“Had to clean the place up a little, it was very… masculine.” I pursed my lips. It was his house, he was a single guy in the navy so of course it looked like a bachelor pad. I ran my hand along the floral throw blanket that rested on the back of the couch, the same place that his Philadelphia Eagles blanket used to be, the one I bought him. “You like it? I couldn’t bare to look at that ugly green and white blanket anymore.” My heart sunk a little at her words. “I love that blanket, it’s the one we share when we go to games in the winter.” Her nose twitched and I narrowed my eyes at her just slightly.
“Liz! Thank god! Look I need your help in the kitchen, I’m trying to make mom's creamy tuscan chicken and it’s not coming out right.” I chuckled as he came out of the kitchen, apron on and in a panic. “Alright, you always needed help in the kitchen anyway.” I said before following him. “The consistency isn’t right.” I looked in the pot and saw it was watery. “You just need a little more flour.” He nodded and scooped some out of the bag. “A little at a time. There we go.” He added it little by little until it was perfect. I smiled at him and saw tears in his eyes. “Hey, what’s wrong?” He shook his head, leaning back on the island in the kitchen. “It’s just… this is the first deployment that I’ll be gone on the anniversary of mom’s death.” My bottom lip poked out as I saw the tears fall down his face.
“Oh, Noah.” I pulled him into a hug, one hand resting on the nape of his neck and the other rubbing his back. He sobbed into my shoulder as his arms encircled my waist. “I hate that I won’t be here. I usually sit out there all day and make sure she has fresh flowers-” “I got it.” I said leaning back. “I will make sure she has fresh flowers on her grave and I will sit out there. I haven’t been in a while, it’ll do me some good.” He pulled me back into him and I relished in it, his arms around my waist and his cologne invading my senses. We stayed like that for a moment before we heard someone clear their throat. We looked to see Katy in the doorway, her lips pursed in a thin line and her arms crossed over her chest.
“I was coming to see if Liz wanted to see how I did our bedroom?” He nodded, wiping his face. “Go, I’ll pour you some wine.” I sighed and nodded, following her upstairs and into their bedroom. His black comforter had been traded out for a gray and white floral, a baby pink blanket laying across the bottom. Her jewelry box had been added to the top of the dresser, as well as another stack of books, all law related. There were plants in a few places around the room. In the corners, on his shelves and even in front of the windows. It was beautiful but not Noah. “Like it?” I nodded. “It’s pretty. Different but pretty.” She nodded, smiling at me. We headed downstairs, and I fell back onto the leather sectional, sinking into it. She sat down, crossing her ankles and giving me a stern look. “It’s not really appropriate to just flop onto someone’s couch.” Noah isn’t just someone. I went to open my mouth and retort when Noah came in. “Babe, what did you do with the riesling in the fridge?” Katy furrowed her brows, turning back to look at him.
“I took it back to the store and got some cabernet. I don’t drink riesling.” Noah tilted his head back, groaning. “Babe, Liz can’t have red wine. It throws her into a migraine, that’s why I had the riesling. I always keep a bottle on hand for her.” Her eyes widened and she looked at me. “Oh, Liz! I’m so sorry! If I had known I would’ve left it!” Her lip twitched as if she was fighting a grin. “It’s okay Noah, I haven’t had enough water today anyway.” He gave me an apologetic look and nodded before walking back into the kitchen. “Sure you don’t want some red wine? Surely you can fight off a little headache.” I pursed my lips, fighting the urge to snap at her.
“My ‘little headaches’ tend to make me puke and knock me off my feet. So no, I’ll just have water.” I said politely and she giggled. “I’m surprised you wanted water. It looks like you don’t drink it anyway.” My eyebrows shot up and I looked at her. “I’m sorry?” She placed her hand over her heart and feigned surprise. “Oh, I meant no offense. I was just concerned for your health.” I scoffed, looking away from her. “Here you go. Water for my best girl.” Noah said before handing me the glass and kissing my head. “Thanks, Noah.” He smiled at me before he went to walk back into the kitchen, being stopped by Katy who reached up, her arm sneaking around his neck and she pulled him into a kiss. I bit my lip, sipping my water trying to ignore them. He pulled back, chuckling at her. “Later.” He said before walking back into the kitchen.
“Do you love him, Liz?” I furrowed my brows in confusion, looking at her. “Of course, he-” “He’s your best friend, but are you in love with him?” My mouth hung open. I needed to tell her no, but I couldn’t. “Yeah, I figured as much.” She huffed before scooting closer, gently putting her arm around my shoulders. I was so uncomfortable with her that close, I wanted the couch to swallow me into it. “Let me break this to you gently. If he wanted you, he would’ve made you his a long time ago, sweetie.” Tears sprung to my eyes at her words. “You’ve got to let this go. This pining for him is only going to ruin everything.”
She was right, it was one sided. The unrequited love you hear about in stories, but mine will never be returned. “I can’t have you ruining this, Liz.” I stood, brushing her off me and grabbing my purse. “Okay dinner is-where are you going?” Fuck, I hoped I could rush out without him stopping me. “Home.” I heard a few things clatter on the table and feet rushing. “Woah, hey. What’s this about?” I shook my head as he grabbed my arm, turning me to face him, his other hand gripping my wrist to keep me from turning away. “Nothing I just, there are some important plans that I have to have turned in tomorrow morning that I haven’t finished. If I don’t finish them, I will lose my job.” He furrowed his brows, because he knows good and well I finish everything in the office. I never bring work home. “Liz, come on.” I shook my head and pulled back. “I’ll see you later.” I said before rushing out the door. “What did you say to her?” It was distant, I'm not even sure I heard him right but I just rushed to my car. I got in, once again sobbing as I cranked it and backed out of his driveway, starting the short drive to my house.
~~~
“What did you say to her?” Noah asked, whipping around to look at Katy. “All I said was that you didn’t love her-” “What the fuck, Katy?!” Her eyes widened in surprise at his words. “So what? Do you love her?” He nodded, tossing his arms out. “Of course! She’s my best friend!” Katy ran her hands through her hair, almost pulling on it in frustration. “Oh my god! She’s in fucking love with you, Noah!” He furrowed his brows in confusion. “Where did you get that from?” She scoffed. “We were sitting here and I asked her.” He quirked a brow at her words. “And what did she say?”
Katy stilled, realization hitting her. “No-nothing.” He pursed his lips, nodding. “That’s fucking low.” He said before marching upstairs to their now shared bedroom, grabbing his already packed duffle and an extra set of pajamas. “Where are you going?” He grabbed a few last things from the bathroom, shoving them into his bag. “I’m going over to Liz’s.” Katy sputtered over her words, trying to find what to say. “You’re leaving me?” He nodded. “At least for the night.” She followed him down the stairs. “But you leave in four days!” He nodded. “I do. But you decided to sit here and make up some stupid lie out of jealousy. So I’m gonna go and spend my night with Liz. If you want to fix this, you can call me in the morning.” He said before walking out.
~~~
Once I was home I threw my purse to the side and yanked off the combat boots I had on. She was right, he would never return my feelings. I can’t keep going on like this, breaking my own heart. I laid on my couch, sitting with those thoughts. “He’ll never love me like I love him. Who was I kidding?” I asked out loud. After a while of just crying in the dark I fell asleep, dreamlessly hoping that one day he would return my feelings.
I stood and walked to the door, opening it for him and he engulfed me in a hug. “Oh, thank god. You weren’t answering your phone, I thought something happened to you.” He said and I looked at my phone, 911 still pulled up on my keypad. I looked at my recents and saw sixteen missed calls and nine texts, all with varying levels of concern. “No. No, I’m fine.” I said turning to him. “What are you doing here?” He furrowed his brows. “I’m here for you.” He said coming over and taking my hands. “I’m so sorry for what Katy said. She never should’ve said those things to you.” My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. “Wha-really?” My mouth went dry at his words. I had to be dreaming, there’s no other way this could be happening.
I awoke with a start when I heard banging on my front door. I looked to the door, questioning if I heard it right. My heart pounded and I rolled into the floor, army crawling to where I threw my purse and digging my phone out of it. I heard it again and I quickly dialed 911. “Lizzy, please. I’m sorry about what she said.” I calmed when I heard Noah’s voice on the other side, letting me know it wasn’t someone here to hurt me.
But his thumbs rubbing over my knuckles told me otherwise. “Of course, Liz. I love you, you’re my best friend. I never expected another girl to understand our relationship but Katy said she’s willing to learn.” He said before pulling me into a hug. No, fuck! He came here to tell me how much I mean to him as a best friend. Tears slipped down my cheeks and onto his shoulder as he held me. “I hate to do this, but Katy and I got into it.” He said before holding up his bag. “Mind if I crash in the guest room?” I thought for a moment. He ships out in four days, I should kick him out and tell him to go back to his house and make her leave. But I wanted to be selfish, I want him to myself at least for tonight before he ships out for six months. “Yeah, of course.” I said, wiping my eyes. “She really hurt you, didn’t she?” I pursed my lips and nodded. It was the truth. “I’ll have a talk with her. You’re too important to me to lose you.” He said, kissing my forehead like always. “Let me get set up in the guest room and then I will order your favorite from the chinese place.” I smiled at him before he walked away. One night, I can be selfish for one night. What harm could it do?

Dagger, Sword & Shield | masterlist - ongoing series
Immediately following the success of the uranium mission, the Dagger Squad was established as a permanent unit, with the newly promoted Adrimal Mitchell as their leader. Their continuing assignment: to complete the Navy’s most dangerous, harrowing missions. Now, with numerous successes under their belts, all twelve Daggers have settled into the San Diego area, and the extended Dagger family has grown. Proposals photographed by teammates hiding in shrubbery. Children spoiled rotten by their crew of loving aunts and uncles. Lifelong friendships formed through the hardships of service and the joy of life. This universe will explore the love lives of the Daggers as told through these friendships, laughter, and something special to each couple. soft-tober masterlist - ongoing event (part of DSS universe)
anything for you | masterlist – on hiatus
Jake Hangman Seresin x Rebecca Hermann (fem!OC) Rebecca Hermann worked for years to recuse herself from the clutches of her father, Seymour, a vicious and deadly man. Already a high-ranking member of San Diego’s infamous Dagger Organization, he will do anything to gain more influence. His latest attempt at a power grab is offering his youngest daughter, Delilah, to any man who could improve his status. Rebecca will do whatever it takes to save her sister, even if it means making an agreement with the city’s most dangerous man and rejoining the world she fought so hard to escape. Thrown back into the life of the Daggers, Rebecca must figure out how to protect her sister, eliminate the threat of her father, and live with the consequences of making a deal with the devil.
one-shots
a nonsense christmas (18+ minors DNI)
Harrison Knott x Noelle Baum (fem!OC)
What do you get when you combine a silly costume (that shouldn’t be sexy but somehow is) with a few too many sips of holiday punch? A nonsense Christmas, of course!
come home to me
Rhett Abbott x Wren Johnson (fem!OC)
Rhett is drifting. He can feel himself slowly slipping away - untethered, uncaring, unable to focus. Until the card with a little brown bird on the front arrives the same day he has to say another goodbye. The seven words scribbled underneath Christmas wishes breathes life into him for the first time in a year. all my love - your little bird, Wren.
