What's this about mitch and parrish? Can I hear some more???

I am so glad you asked! Please join me in the wonderfulness that is Marrish, I had this whole fic (kind of) planned out. (This is a bit of a jumbled mess, mostly bc I just took all my ideas from my chat with @missleeismyname who is wonderful and helped me flesh this out a bit)

So this starts when Parrish is still in the military. He’s in the Middle East (I can’t remember if he was in Afghanistan or Iraq?) and Mitch is there on business as well. They run into each other entirely by accident, probably while Mitch is doing recon, and he is Not Interested. He is working, and the tunnel vision is real with this one. But Parrish is a sweet pea and manages to charm him, of course. You can’t not love him. Mitch agrees to Parrish a call after the job is finished in a few days, and then after he is given leave for a few weeks, free to go wherever he wants, so long as he tells Kennedy (since she is his handler) and he decides to stay in the Middle East for a while and pursue a relationship with Parrish.

Full disclosure, that ending was inspired directly by the end of American Assassin (book ver) when Mitch decides to stay in Switzerland for 6 weeks and starts sleeping with possibly the worst person he could have chosen. It comes back to save him and bite him in the ass after the next book.

I also had an idea for a different ending, where the crazy shit happens to Parrish before they really have a chance to do anything/get to know each other, and Mitch thinks he’s dead. Then he finds out that no he’s alive, but he was medically discharged and sent home to the States. Sucks but oh well, it happens. Mitch goes on with his life, occasionally still thinks about Parrish but mostly tries not to think about the “what-ifs”.

Then Mitch goes home to California, because he hasn’t seen the fam in a while: John and Stiles, his dad and little brother. A while later he’s at the Sheriff’s station for some reason or another, and imagine his surprise when John introduces him to Parrish the guy he’s kinda sorta been crushing on, who is !!! when he sees him, like a happy puppy getting a treat. Which is a little odd, until Mitch says they’ve already met.

At that point John is just done. Because the reason I loved this ending was because of how he would react to his oldest kid apparently having a Thing with his newest deputy already, after Stiles was already dating Derek and then he became a deputy, and can his kids please stop sleeping their way through the station? It’s hereditary, since Claudia totally had a thing for John in his deputy uniform.

Of course then it becomes a station-wide joke that the easiest way to become a deputy is to date one of the Stilinski’s…

Then Mitch finds out Parrish is a hell hound, and he’s just like “I knew you were hot before, but damn…”

And when Stiles finds out about them lol, he’s just like what is this Sweet Innocent Puppy doing with his broody asshole of a brother??

Mitch: he is none of those things, just so you know 

Stiles: LALALA I DONT WANT TO KNOW NVM

Stiles and Derek are going over to Mitch’s place for whatever reason and right after Stiles opens the door Derek is just like Stiles No Bc ffs Derek can hear them but Stiles doesn’t listen and then totally walks in on them and handcuffs are involved somewhere. Parrish is absolutely a gentleman on the streets and a freak in the sheets. 

I have like so many crossovers bc I love Mitch so much, you guys have no idea. Steteritch is the Top Fav, but I have ideas of Mitch with just about everyone, platonic and otherwise. My Mitch/Allison (platonic) dynamic absolutely wonderful and will make you weep. I can’t wait to show them in SIF if I ever get that damn fic finished, bc he is just so sweet with her.
