and yes, it went horribly <3! tome prolly wasn't paying attention as closely as she should've been and got herself surrounded by a crowd. to be clear, that's not Always dangerous, since zombies arent like,, after ur brains in this constantly. but these zombies did look quite hungry, and human or not, she looked like a good meal,,

she had wandered off a bit from mob n ritsu, but mob heard the commotion first. tome has a big fucking baseball bat in this au that she likes to swing around, but a baseball bat can only get u so far in terms of self defense. she thins the horde but there's simply too many of them

mob lets exactly One zombie grab her and yank her toward them before he goes ballistic

watching zombies fight is a lot closer to watching wild animals fight than anything else, and it gets quite horrid sometimes. since their bites aren't rly "dangerous" to each other beyond the typical Oh No a Chunk of Flesh is Gone (not even painful for them, since their nerves r.. less than functional), the fight is a lot more close up and gruesome than a fight against a zombie and a human would be. humans usually back away from zombies immediately and try not to touch them at all in fear of getting bitten; zombies don't need to care abt that

most of the horde realizes that this meal isn't going to be easy and they wander off, but a few more hungry, more desperate ones try to rip into mob's throat at the first sign of defiance. it's not exactly a fair fight; it's like 1 against 4, so he's sorta bound to lose

thankfully ritsu shows up and shoots two of them down (he's Terrified of shooting mob by accident, but either way he'll probably die, so) and tome gets the last one with a good swing to the head. ritsu rushes to mob and is horrified by the amount of blood dripping from his neck and his arm; tome is equally as shocked, but she's mostly thinking, "ive Never seen a zombie defend a human before"

mob's neck is thankfully mostly just scraped up and clawed, but there Is some gruesome punctures where canines sank in and tugged. it's a lot worse along his arm that's bitten and gouged beyond belief. he loses a lot of blood here, but the whole nerves-no-longer-work thing is a blessing in disguise atm; he'd be in a lot of pain otherwise. while ritsu and tome are patching him up w shaky hands he simply glares beyond their shoulders like he thinks he's still in danger, even when they tighten the bandages. it's like he barely notices what they’re doing

his strangely alert behavior makes them think abt the possibility that maybe mob Knows he could've easily been shredded apart there, and he's a little scared and worked up abt it. the only reason he managed to fight as long as he did without dying is prolly bc the other zombies weren't as well-fed as mob—they were kinda weak and shaky from days of no food, but mob has humans taking care of him and keeping him fed 24/7

they're all shaken up by it pretty good.. tome is still reeling from the fact that mob defended her so valiantly, and ritsu is quietly horrified by the idea of another zombie killing mob instead of a human. he doesn't know which is worse

ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?

Well, his house is pretty ghost free. Joking aside, there's probably a few things. General regrets and embarrassment at himself when he was younger (which can't really be helped even though he was literally a kid that didn't know any better), anguish over not being able connect with other people even back then, but what really sticks with him was what happened back at the lab.

He might not like to think about it but it has stuck with him. It's kind hard for it not to. He doesn't really live with it so much as he does put up with it. It's all Lambda knows how to do. After all, what else do you do when you've seen tons of dead people while escaping and realizing you're never going to be like your fellow human ever again.

midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?

If we're being literal, he's a night owl. He's just generally tailored for the night. (And well, insomnia.) Figuratively, it's more or less what I mentioned above. Regret, cringing at older memories, and wondering if they'd ever find him again and what he would do if that ever happened. Or even smaller anxieties like worrying about if he'll ever wake up again when he goes to bed. Though, that particular fear doesn't come up much.

The early hours of the morning are his sunset. He's usually showered, brushed his teeth and put his pajamas on. And then he does the same thing he was doing prior to that, finding something to do so he doesn't have to think about those things.

i am trying to work on eating healthier, which is all tied up in all kinds of feelings about body and weight, and my best friend / cuddlebuddy has made some comments lately about about appreciating how soft i am and it’s just been. really nice and reassuring honestly.

Here's the thing about the Rooster/Mav ship to me: Mav not only deserves a better nibling/mentee than Rooster, he also deserves a way better romantic partner than Rooster.

I feel like folks who are deliberately going the 'dark, despairing, fucked up dynamics' route with TGM fic may not have seen TG 1986. That's where the dark, despairing, fucked up lies. With that context, I really can't see a dark dynamic I enjoy enough to explore in the new one.

I just watched the most heartbreaking scene

My great grandma has worked so hard her entite life. Even in old age she was taking care of her siblings and her friends and after they all died, she started looking after animals, often times very sick ones.

She's in her 80s now, so she's finally stopped working and adopted a sweet old kitty that was in great health. She loved this cat for years, helped her through A LOT of pregnancies before getting her fixed, and took care of her through thick and thin.

After my grandma's partner died, his family (asshole people) told her she has to move because the house is under his name and they want to sell it (they aren't even giving her any of the money afterwards).

Since she's too old to take care of a whole house anyway, but is still too healthy to move into the senior living section of the hospital, she has to move into the town's senior apartments, which do not allow pets.

So my mum and I are taking the cat to live with us. We've had this plan in place since about April, so everyone was prepared, but today (July 14) we finally went to get her.

It was really upsetting. I don't cry over much, but seeing my great grandma sobbing as she said goodbye to her kitty was heartbreaking. My grandma (her daughter) was crying, my mum was crying, everyone was crying over seeing my great grandma so sad. She made my grandma promise to take her to our house (in another city an hour away) so she could visit the kitty.

She had people in town offer to take the cat, but she insisted we have her, so I know that she knows we'll take good care of her. But she was still so sad and I get it, I've parted with my fair share of pets, but it was still devastating to see this old woman have to give up her cat after losing all of her siblings, her friends, her partner, and then her home.

Despite Danny's best efforts, no matter how much time past, Amity Park refused to see Phantom as a hero.

Sure, there were pockets of support, particularly among teens, but most of the town blames Phantom for the property damage, saying if he didn't fight the ghosts then it wouldn't be so bad, to that time he got mind controlled by Freakshow and "attacked" the mayor. It wears him down. It wears Tucker and Sam down. Jazz can only try to support them all.

Then one day, a member of the Justice League visits. Someone minor, and kinda a jerk... maybe a Wonder Twin? Zan? Whatever. They don't investigate; they don't look deeper. They listen to the town folks and declare the ghost hunters, Red Huntress and the Fentons, to be the official heroes of the town.

Worse? Danny Phantom is officially considered a villain to the Justice League. Tuck hacks into the Watchtower and confirms that they have a file (a heavily inaccurate file) about how to defeat Phantom.

Danny doesn't think he can do this anymore.

A few weeks later, a young villain escapes into Amity and demands (begs) that Danny help them escape from the hero after them. No idea who, I can't find a lot of info on teen villains in DC, so let's fudge some ages and make it Kyd Wyckyd from the Teen Titans cartoon. Danny agrees, because to hell with the Justice Losers, and they defeat the hero, becoming friends in the process. Kyd confesses that they became a villain after being ostracized bc of how they look, and they've been trying to avoid villain organizations because HIVE was abusive, but it's really hard to be a villain alone bc of all the heroes.

Sam gets an idea. Tucker agrees with the idea. Jazz is just happy they'll end up making friends.

The next day, the Teen Villain Alliance is formed, ready to assist with any teenage illegal shenanigans their allies might get into.

Some notes:

It's created to be a healthier option for teen "villains" to connect with others and support each other.

It's more important that this is for Teens rather than Villains. They're tired of adult villains taking advantage of them. The TVA would rather ally with a teen vigilante than with an adult villain.

Again, no idea who the teen villains are, but Klarion is definitely here. He leaves the Light for the chaos of the TVA. Maybe Ember is there too?

Timeline wise, this is around when Tim is still Robin, but Damien has arrived at Wayne Manor.

This is because, when it comes time to try to infiltrate the TVA, they'll have a convenient child-assassin who has none of the monitors of a teen hero that Phantom immediately picks up on.

Damien, who at this point has been abandoned by his mother, dismissed and scolded by his father, and has had no success at carving his own place in the family, jumps at the chance. He is then surrounded by peers who don't insult him or try to change his behavior (too much; jazz is trying to help him find healthier methods of expressing himself). He... might not want to continue being a spy.

Danny, Sam, Tuck, and Jazz are the founding members.

Danny reinvents himself as the High Prince of the Infinite, Prince Phantom Dark. He got kingship from fighting Pariah Dark, but since he's still alive, he's only a prince. He steals the last name Dark as an intimidation tatic against those in the know; only Danny would have the balls to claim family with Pariah.

Sam works as a powerless villain, but she might no be powerless? Either way, Danny gives her a bunch of repurposed Fenton tech, and she buys the rest with her parents credit card. She does NOT care if that's traced back to the Mansons. She would choose something goth, maybe something spider related or even bat?

I love Pharaoh Tucker, so I think he should get magic powers? Since pharaohs of old were considered the balance between the real and the divine. He's still a tech guy, now he's a tech and magic guy.

Jazz isn't really a villain, more of a team mom who's planning on using everyone's psyche's as her thesis paper. You know what, that's her callsign, she's Psyche. Sometimes she flirts with Nightwing.
