actually i love bruce and duke’s dynamic because everytime it’s essentially just:

Bruce telling him about this very unhinged plan he has

And Duke displaying one ounce of concern, and then immediately agreeing

#batfam #bruce wayne #duke thomas #okay but on a deeper level #i do enjoy the night and day contrast #and how the trust between these two has such a long way to go still #but it’s been built up so much #and it’s clear that bruce has like so much faith in duke #i also like to think on some subconscious level bruce sees duke as not only a source of guilt #but also proof of a second chance #and duke likewise has a lot to be disappointed in batman for #but his respect for bruce’s willingness to be batman and his message is so high #and ugh i’m bad at wording these things #but i like their dynamic a lot #batman #the signal #batfamily
