How would the arcana Twilight Boys react to cultural cooking ( i Hope the question is clear 😂)

Alpheratz: He likes food that has little to no spices used. When you offer him anything to eat with more than salt and pepper as seasoning, he will not enjoy it, because it tastes "too exciting." Might like new zealand dishes, but only on occassion.

Arcturus: A great fan of soups! Especially loves them when he could help you cook, because the taste of joy makes it tastier. Literally. The water in his world tastes better when the surroundings appear happy. No matter if you have Ramen, vegetable soup, creamy or anything else classified as a liquid meal, he will love it. Please mind that he does not eat meat, so do not boil your soup with bones to create flavour.

Pollux: He loves baking with Arcturus, because they create healthy snacks. But expanding his recipes is not bad. He will love it! They have to be sweats though. But be prepared for him sending you pictures of enormous versions of whatever you taught him the recipe of. A mochi the size of your head? His thoughts will tell him this may create a mess, but that does not matter. Or Champus filling his entire fridge. Do not teach him about donuts, because he makes enough to fill the school. Make him eat thai and korean and he falls in love.

Sirius: His taste is as experimental as a mad scientist. Does not call anything "bad" until he tried it, even if he dislikes every ingredient in the dish. He loves smelling spices, so please season everything to the best of your abilities. When you cook for him, he is honest about his opinions. Would definitely enjoy mexican and hungarian dishes.

Spica: This man has not lived if he has not tasted everything. He was raised in a rich household, so he only got to eat the most expensive dishes from all different places. Since you are from another world, he would like to learn more about your dishes and asks you to cook something. He seems to form a special liking to egyptian meals, even though that may be a continent away from your actual home.

Vega: He likes convenience food, if he tastes anything with flavour, he may get an overdose on it and might not be able to handle it at first. But your dish has potential, he says. Give him a few tries and he actually can eat it without his stomach cramping later on. The blandness of UK food suits him.

I'm a little lost with the part of "You like/promote Yurio? Fu*k you, then" What's going on with his character in the jp fandom?

Thank you for the question~ It's a very interesting issue...

It's mainly one specific subset of Jp YoI fandom, rather than the whole fandom. That subset is VicYuu (Victor seme Yuuri uke) I-won't-accept-it-the-other-way-around fujos.

(In all my posts, when I rant about fujos, I talk about fujos = classic fujos, who believe in ukes and semes, but not necessary that homosexuality is valid outside their fantasies, and not "BL fans" in general.)

You see, fujos in general very often are ✨obsessed✨ with their uke character (if you ask me, they simply self-insert a little bit too hard...) and because of that they treat very seriously, like very seriously and very personally any perceived ""insult"" to their uke.

It's not only YoI, more of a general trend, but fujos often choose the main character as their uke, because if you do that then you have much more material to have fun with, than when your fave is a side character.

So in YoI, Yuuri is the main character, but there really was that very easy to notice trend to promote Yurio quite a lot. In Mitsurou's interviews for example, she often talks a lot about Yurio, that he's such a cool character, that she likes scenes with him and so on... In a lot of interviews with other staff members (the producer Otsuka M. is an example of this), they talk about how Yurio is their fave, too. Another thing is that in official art Yurio is almost always there with Y&V, and sometimes even between them.... (Do I think that the purpose was to lesser the gay vibes? Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised, if that is the case.)

So important staff members, like Mitsurou or the main producer, mentioned a few times that Yurio is more like a classic protagonist of a sport anime, that they knew he's going to be popular for sure... Because of this, long story short, fujos started to be worried that the next season's protagonist will be Yurio. (In my personal opinion, they were right. This was exactly the feeling that I've got looking at what was going on back then.) This made them incredibly triggered every time Yurio was in some way "treated like a main character". Examples: Yuri!!! on life guidebook illustration, where Yurio is in the middle and in the brightest spot, Mitsurou's Welcome to the madness manga, and the fact that Yurio EX program was animated so nicely, and Yuuri's wasn't...

In addition to that, Mitsurou, who those fujos call "Yurio's mother", doesn't treat Yuuri in the same way... She sometimes even likes to say things that can be read as quite mean, so this also adds in to the grudge they hold "because Yuuri isn't treated as the protagonist he is, and Mitsurou mistreats him on purpose, because she wants to make Yurio, her fave, the protagonist!!1!". The result is that since early 2017, fujos hate both Yurio and Mitsurou. (I personally don't think that she hates Yuuri or anything. Imo, Mitsurou's version of Yuuri and fujo version of Yuuri are simply like two different characters.)

Plus, there's also this thing people in Jp fandom call "settings thief". If you look at any VicYuu fanart, it's not hard to notice that fujos like Yuuri to be like really feminine... They like to think that he's naturally very girl-like and very tiny (easier to self-insert, I suppose?). Also, that he, of course, is the best skater there is! But, actually in canon the one character often described as looking a lot like a girl, or having a small built is Yurio. And the one who won gold is also Yurio... So, fujos are simply salty that there is a char with these traits in the canon, but that's not their fave.

Whoaa... That's got long! But this is still a very simplified version 😂

I’m doing okay, on my break at work as I type this lol. At least it’s Friday!! The end of a long week!! Hope you’re doing okay as well!!

We have a very similar story on how we entered the fandom, actually!! Back in middle school (circa. 2012), my one friend at the time showed me a picture of Harry and how he was so cute and was part of this band from the UK and all this other stuff!! At the time, I kinda brushed it off cause I thought I was “too cool” to be interested in a band like them. I remember walking through Walmart and seeing their debut album on the shelf and my babysitters daughter kinda scoffed at the display shelf. At the time, I didn’t really know why she did it, but oh well..

Anyways, one day after school, I was a bit intrigued, so I searched Harry Styles on YouTube and found a bunch of video interviews of the boys, but I specifically remember seeing videos that had, like, facts about them!! I watched all of those religiously (and taking them as gospel practically, even though they obviously weren’t always true!!) just so I could get an understanding of these weird ass boys!! I didn’t get on tumblr until 2014 and didn’t actively blog about the boys until about 2015-2016, took a fandom break and got right back on the horse in 2019 and I’ve been on here ever since 😬.

And it’s been downhill since the beginning. ✨

I love how long some of us have been here. Circa 2012 means you've also been around, in whatever form, for 10 years. That's insane to me, that we've been around loving these idiots for forever essentially. I'm only 26, so 10 years is almost half my life, which. Absurd.

To answer your question, i don't really remember how i became a larrie😂. I think it's always been who I am. I don't know how I got hooked into it, but iirc there was a set of Larry compilations on yt from someone who's since disappeared because people are shit, and that kinda made me think a bit. And then 2012 and the bearding started and i remember looking at Lou and Eleanor saying this is not how i would behave if i was dating someone,you know? Here's the tl;Dr version. I've been a larrie for as long as I can remember, but I don't remember how it started.

I would tell my future self that I hope she has everything she’s dreamed of. Healthy love, beautiful children, having a job that brings her joy. And I would tell her that I hope she’s proud of what I’m doing as the younger version of her. I would also tell her that she better have got a fat butt by now bc I’m STRUGGLING over here 😂😂

I am not a HUGE fan of soup to be honest. But a good beef or chicken Pho is TOP TIER. I love pho. I could have it everyday.

I love to travel but I’m scared of planes. Only ever been on one plane to Vegas a few years ago and that’s like a 30 min flight for me 😂 I would go to the UK, AUS, maybe France, and I’d go to all the national parks. I have to say Michigan and Minnesota too. I will definitely go one day.

4. Literally any flower, I've never been given flowers before so just the concept of it and the actual act would make me so happy. It could be a bouquet of weeds and I'd be happy.

5. Idk if this is an acceptable answer but my dog 😂💀. I feel so loving and caring, happy and calm when I'm around him. And I KNOW FOR A FACT his ass judges me hard but i tell him about my day and sing to him and literally use him as a personal diary 😭😂. I just feel at home when im around my bubba boy.

6. Physical - my eyes are pretty! Like a lighting brown. I love my long curly hair, and my height makes me feel like a powerful bad bitch. Non physical - I like that I'm able to be empathetic towards people, I have a big heart and I find reasons to have love for people, and I love how my mind can be creative!

7. Greens, all types of greens and blues. Which is weird because blue isn't even a favorite color of mine.
