#iicr he joined megs anyway
Note
YES
And I always liked the concept of Glitch/Damus's gift being able to be used for potential medical purposes such as keeping away pain and keeping a patient alive so we can add him and Pharma experimenting too.
Like Pharma tracks down Megatron all zeal and fury, and he is horrifyingly reminding of Starscream for a moment and demands to join the revolution but also immediately starts repairs offering to fix anyone and upon hearin Megatron’s wish teaches him. He doesn't necessarily soften over time. He's still furiously determined and prickly, but he's protective and slots in as a close friend.
Which is why the Functionist Council when they try to capture them takes Pharma's surrender in exchange for allowing his patients to go and publicly makes an example of him a la Shockwave. Except Pharma has never let anyone tell him anything and Megatron carefully doing the surgery to replace upgrade him slowly as they get parts and Pharma still remaining in his roll and teaching just as many saying Forged hands are a leg up but lack of them prevents no one from being a doctor and proves it as well as continues to teach anyone who asks.
Yes yes yes yes
It's such a thing
Pharma's fucking angry, and angry people join movements that want to change things
But he means well, and it shows in his actions
Baseline Megatron's probably having a Time reconciling this Pharma with what he knows of the baseline universe's Pharma
Ooo on Pharms keeping himself out of the know of anything big on purpose, interesting
That surgery must've felt like the ultimate test for a still in training medic Megatron, and there are several mecha who would be proud (is Terminus still here? I'm aware that he went into the Functionist universe with him but Megatron lost him again at some point, for good this time) (which is such a thing)
YES
And YES on Damus's outlier ability evolving for possible medical uses
