Random thoughts about the orv epilogue pt. 1/??? After finishing orv a few days ago I have so many thoughts circling around my head and I’m hoping by posting them I can help internalize the mass of emotions sitting in my chest because this novel has fucking destroyed me. First thing up on the chopping block: kdj scattering his soul and how it seems that hsy and yjh misinterpret it initially.
From the moment we see kdj get on the train, we know that above anything else, he wants to be with everyone and the only reason he’s becoming the oldest dream is to keep the universe working so that they can keep on living. He sends out the memories he thinks will be needed (and even then he isn’t able to give away all of the memories, he cherishes them too much to make it a 50/50 split). It’s so incredibly telling that even when he supposedly sent away all his memories of their time together, the very first thing kdj does after breaking down is to go watch their story, the one of his companions. And then immediately has to pull himself back out because the *longing* is so strong it literally manifests in a physical breakdown. He distracts himself by going back to the story he’s always loved, ways of survival, and spends his probability to make everyone as happy as he possibly can (notably yjh bc yeah they are the emotional core of this novel but i digress), even if it doesn’t matter, even if no one will remember it besides him, he does it anyways.
On the other side of things, kimcom is eternally torn up about this choice. Hsy and yjh want kdj back whole, while others seem to be okay with just having the part of kdj that remembers them, because it was the choice he made and they want to respect it. Here they understand that kdj becoming od was done for their sake, and they despise it. They decide to get him back because they cannot have kdj if he isn’t whole. However, when they finally manage to get there, to see kdj as od, they can’t get him back. The fourth wall says it’s because they were greedy, and that kdj knew they would come for him and scattered his soul to prevent them from ever finding him. And hsy and yjh *believe it.* Not only do they come home empty handed, they come home thinking that the person they did this all for never wanted them to do so in the first place. It’s reflected in the way that yjh says “Do you think that fool has become a little bit happier” after he and hsy fight at the museum. At first yjh saw it as another sacrifice kdj made on their behalf, but even after 2 years, he’s still questioning, still wondering if this isn’t what kdj wanted all along. It’s not enough to stop him from trying to get kdj back, but it’s enough to leave him questioning.
With hsy on the other hand, she comes to terms with that same idea very differently. She puts all thoughts of saving kdj to the side, because she can’t deal with the idea of trying and failing once more, it almost seems that to her, failing again would only solidify what the fourth wall said. But even more so it shows in her eventual plan to get kdj back. She wants to read him his story in the hopes that it will make him *want* to be with them, and thus come back to his original body.
Both reactions show that everyone is missing a fundamental portion to kdj’s motivations: the reason why he scattered his soul is because he wanted to be with them too much. The loss of his memories and the scattering of his soul was a natural effect of being od, but he makes the choice to scatter his soul so that he won’t have to deal with the agony of being alone for any longer. It’s also why hsy’s plan is destined to work. The epilogue to her story is the same one kdj has always truly wanted to see, but never allowed himself to imagine.

so i wrote an 8-page essay about personhood and yoo joonghyuk in omniscient reader's viewpoint for my real life seminar for a real life grade that will be on my academic record forever. why? because im insane.
read "me, myself, and i: recognizing personhood in omniscient reader's viewpoint" here!
i would highly recommend reading this short text as an introduction to some of the theory and terms used in my essay; ive also included an extremely condensed version of the major points used for my paper under the cut.
narrative prosthesis: disability and the dependencies of discourse speaks on disability— and more abstractly, a deficiency in something— being a vital part of literary narratives, while also disqualifying disabled people from being perceived as human.
characters need to be missing something or deficient in some way in order to necessitate a story to be told about them, and at the same time this disqualifies them from being a "human person". essentially, disability is used because of its inherent implications: that there is a story to be told about it, and that there is a story that can be made from it. the end goal of the narrative is to either "fix" this disability/deficiency, or to "prosthesize" it with an equally narratively valuable explanation or compensation, hiding it from view.
disability and its place in literature is surrounded by a myriad of issues, such as how representations of disabled people are used to justify their abuse and exploitation. disability is viewed as the "master trope of human disqualification", automatically marking someone to be completely unrecognisable as a "normal" human, and when a disability becomes too apparent— both in literature and in the real world— a prosthetic is sought by the narrative or by social pressure in order to "compensate" for the disability, restoring it to an "acceptable" level.

esha i have a request. what is orv about? give me a sales pitch tell me why you are so bonkers insane about it ♥
HIII RIMI 🥹 Um. It’s a 551 chapter long webnovel. actually i’m just gonna link this post because im kind of massively bad at explaining it. it’s like. what if you were just some guy* who was the only reader of this very long kinda shitty webnovel, and as you read the last chapter the supernatural apocalyptic events in the novel start to happen in real life. and also, crucially, the protagonist of the novel time loops after his death, and when the reverse isekai happens, it’s ostensibly his third time loop. this is the basic premise. the thing about orv is it’s kind of difficult to explain why i love it without massive spoilers. but essentially it’s about the bond between the reader and the protagonist and the writer. it’s about loving a story it’s about stories being people and people being stories it’s three layers of narratives wrapped in a trenchcoat that is also a narrative. it has really fascinating worldbuilding that is all about the narrative/thematic purpose of things. it has a plot that just keeps escalating in stakes and never gets boring and i literally could not put it down. it has the worlds most unreliable narrator (and some really fun/devastating stuff with pov changes. it’s the omniscient reader’s viewpoint:]). it has incredible characters (and incredible women 👍 i started orv because my friend pitched jung heewon to me… it has women who wield the sword of judgement and are the king of no killing’s executioner. it has girls who meet their future self, forced into being a catastrophic harbinger of destruction. it has girls who had to kill their best friends to survive. it has women who say i guess i’ll just have to be the villain again and who do things for the people they love that are absolutely devastating to think about both selfish and incredibly selfless). it has incredible relationships between characters. it’s about there being an incommunicable wall separating you from other people but it’s still worth writing on the wall:). by the ending it has recontextualized the beginning so thoroughly you cannot be normal about it ever again. It’s good 👍

(long ask, sorry)
me, starting to read orv: *never questions anything, why the novel became a reality, who yjh's sponsor is, buying into kim dokja's shitty explanations for his extreme self-sacrificial tendencies. Because. those things just aren't questioned, and definitely not answered in most isekai rpg-esque stories i read*
me, finishing orv: *traumatized, because singnsong proceeded to answer all of those blanks in horrifyingly profound and literary ways*
i just..never thought about it too much?? i reallly did go into this blind, thinking it was a normal, wish fulfillment/self-insert, loser mc to hero fantasy T.T i should've gone in further to your posts because maybe i might've been warned (i started reading cuz of you !!! now pay for my therapy :)
OD reveal my beloved <3 everything about kdj just makes me cry man. i did not think i was gonna get attached to him as much as i am now 😭😭 maybe i was jaded from the multiple shitty isekai anime and manga i've read but i really just wasn't expecting kdj to have such character- ALL of the characters to be so lovable and make me want to cry, cheer and cherish all of them. ESPECIALLY yoo joonghyuk, man the early days of orv where i thought he was gonna be the typical punching bag asshole, unimportant side-character, who the mc gives a beatdown to as some kind of power play(?) 😭 embarassing. hahahhaha
i feel like thats exactly orv's goal. to lure you in with a bunch of trendy genres and tropes and then somewhere down the line it hits your psyche at your most vulnerable. you see kdj being so confident in his knowledge of the world, so omniscient, so to speak, that you simply do not need to question his otherwise eyebrow-raising deeds. he says that helping lgy was hypocritical. he tells ysa that he threw the insect net in her direction by coincidence. he says that yjh is a cold psycho who only cares about seeing the end of the scenarios. and you end up "believing" him. bcs he's omniscient
but then, fast forward a few scenarios later and kdj prioritizes lgy over himself and gives him to yjh to fill the green zone. fast forward a few scenarios more and kdj saves ysa's life with 4th wall's help. he sees yjh lose it when he dies in front of him. he gets so emotional when he finds out yjh has come to the demon realm for him (albeit kdj always seems to give yjh the short end of the stick by Doubting him but by this point we know that he may not be as omniscient as we first thought. especially when it comes to knowing everything about yjh)
fun fact abt me i also kinda went into orv 'blind' so to speak. sure i knew who od sp and tls123 were in names only but the actual revelations shook me to my core regardless 😭😭
and omg 🥺🥺 you read orv because of me im so honored OTL making ppl read orv is like my only goal in life at this point gjsjsh

im so normal abt orv [1]
whenever i think about orv. i just. explode.
argh
its just so... fulfilling. theres so many layers. whenever i analyze smth about it one way suddenly i realize that it can also mean something else. and oh my god. “the story changed every time i read it. it was over but it wasn’t over. the story wouldn’t end unless the reader gave up on the story”. BRO. KDJ SAID THAT. AND KDJ IS A READER. US. THE READER. WE ARE KDJ. ARGH. someone pls stop me before I spiral into the abyss (jk u cant). i wont say orv is absolute perfection. i believe that everything is flawed- orv has its share of problems. the complexity, the length, bad eng translations etc. however, i think its as close as it gets. how you know a book is good is that when you put it down, the story doesn’t end. the pages keep turning in your mind. you think about it for days, weeks and sometimes even months on end. orv gives me that feeling. it carves out a place in my heart without me knowing and leaves me feeling empty yet fulfilled at the same time. rah. i feel.... fulfilled.... just... like kdj.... orv is his fulfillment.... to become.... the protagonist..... to save...... people.... to have friends.... companions..... and even as much of a foreign concept to him, happiness. and..... grrr i have so many thoughts. ill continue this a later time.

Yoooooo I got a book that made me experience mental illness in a positive way, It's Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. It's a korean webnovel. It's about Kim Dokja, who's an average office worker, who just finished reading a webnovel, Three Ways of Survival, and the sole reader to read it until the end. Then, everything that the novel was about actually happened, so now he is thrusted into this apocalyptic world and have to survive in it.
This novel makes me crazy bc it discuss the way some people who read to survive, to live another day. Is it voyeuristic to see the characters suffering in order to live? If the characters were right in front of you and know that you read their stories, will they hate you? Resent you? For only watching and never helping? Are you, the reader, absolved of your sins, to know that these tragedies are made for your consumption?
Usually novels that goes this route will slander the readers sayin that you are bad, but NO this novel said the characters will love you, for reading their stories, for being there in suffering and in happiness. The stories will love you so, so much it will try to save you, even if it means that the characters have to go through it, the damned timeloop, again and again, to see a happy ending with you. You are doomed by narrative but they will try again and again to save you, until the very end.
It's a love letters from authors to readers who read to survive, and it resonates with lots of people who read it. And it fucks so harddddd it uses all the so called cringe cliches and tropes and embrace it and it goes HARD. It's not a novel based on logic, it uses storytelling components like themes, tropes, cliches and such as world building materials and it flows smoothly.
Also Kim Dokja made me so ill, this bastard is so depressed, full of self-denial and suicidal. He adopts kid and became an absent father. Everytime he made a plan, it will include a) if don't work kill myself or b) if killing self don't work, escalate situation so it fucks everyone in vicinity, he keeps saying "oh i do this selfishly. Im gonna reach an ending where everyone i love live happily and i am doing this for myself and myself only". He thinks he is unlovable. His self-denial is so strong it's literally parts of his skills. His companions are going crazy cause this man CANNOT stop throwing himself headfirst into danger. Have I mentioned the queerest polycule ever between the book's protagonist, kim dokja, and a hack author? They all said that the really can't stand each other BUT THEY ALL LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH IT BECAME A DAMN UROBOROS OF A TIMELOOP, SAVING EACH OTHER AGAIN AND AGAIN.
Okay anyway I'm normal again. Read ORV if you want. But be warned cause many people aren't normal after reading it. Engard
alright alright sorry for the ever so late answer, i would have answered your ask right away but see i was... indecisive. i began reading orv about a year ago but i got about 70 chapters in and then got distracted. (NOTHING against orv here. i can get distracted and abandon literally any story ever. i still haven't finished watching the ace attorney anime.) and so i know already that i like orv and i think it is so very fun, and i have been thinking recently about getting into it again and maybe actually finishing it this time, but i wasn't totally sure if i should start now since i'm gonna be getting some books in at the library... but anyways i gave in and i am having a BLAST. love this little freak kim dokja. right now, dozens of people are trying to assassinate him and he's like "well don't worry about that we don't have to fight them. the monsters are about to appear." i have orv downloaded on both my phone and my laptop so i can read it while i brush my teeth and also while i eat cereal in the morning. who even needs youtube. i am going to be so annoying to my sister about this

mannnn rereading orv really makes it clear just how well the constellations represent readers. like literally from chapter one, so many times a constellation sends an indirect message and im like "omg thats what i was thinking!" and just in general, the way they comment on the story in such a detached way really feels like readers leaving comments on a webnovel.
but thats just the superficial aspect: orv takes it so much further than that. cause first of all, we have the way constellations can band together to change the outcome of the story. even if its cruel, even if it wont lead to the right ending, they can force the direction of the story with donations (and the unspoken threat that theyll leave if they dont get their way). the dokkaebis practically have no choice- they live for donations. no viewers means they get demoted and no one will watch their story. (which is an incredibly relevant struggle to any artist who wants to do it as a career- feeling like you have to choose between artistic integrity and paying the bills.)
like, you ever wonder why most successful tv shows keep running until theyre no longer good? because the people want more content! you know how long fans have been BEGGING alex hirsch for more gravity falls content, even though the finale was the perfect ending for that show? the fans dont know whats good for the story, they just follow what theyre feeling in the moment. and when the writers cave to that (in order to avoid losing their job) the story suffers.
but theres ALSO the aspect of not only commenting on and interfering in the story, but dehumanizing the characters. now, this one isnt so much a criticism of real life, but more of an exploration of what it would be like from the characters perspective. from uriel shipping joongdok, to the constellation banquet where all the constellations are trying to project their own stories and experiences onto the "characters", to the "chemistry awards", to every instance where the constellations demand to see the incarnations struggle for their own satisfaction..... at every turn, the constellations dont treat the incarnations as people. theyre just entertainment. and these are all normal fan behaviors, which obviously isnt a problem irl because fictional characters dont have feelings. but when seen from the perspective of the character its incredibly fucked up. no wonder yjh hates the constellations so much, i would too!
and i especially like this aspect of it because instead of it being a commentary on the reader/writer/character relationships irl, it becomes about them growing past the roles of constellation/incarnation/dokkaebi and seeing each other as people. this is really shown when kdj becomes a constellation and yjh has to come to terms with that (and similarly with tls123, much later in the story). but also, over time kimcom makes genuine connections with both constellations and dokkaebis, and a lot of the characters sort of shed those roles and start to work together for the sake of telling the right story together.

[ID: A bunch of Discord messages sent by a user named AAAAAA Battery, which are about Omniscient Reader. Transcript:
just had a realization that i switched from saying "yoo joo is a lesbian, the transfemininity came free with her fucking xbox" to "no wait yoo joo is transfem, its the lesbianism that came free with her fucking xbox" and there is in fact a Difference i swear
[11:29 PM]im just thinking about situations where she interacts with seolhwa and came to the conclusion that yknow, i dont think she really thought too hard about her attraction to women until seolhwa comes into the picture and it kinda hits her like "hm. well. idk if seolhwa is gay or not which is the problem here"
[11:30 PM]she is gay but thats beside the point, seolhwa kinda looks like a stereotypical "straight woman" for all intents and purposes
[11:33 PM]and this has never really been a problem before the realization obviously, thats now complicated
[11:35 PM]yoo joo also has a very unique relationship with her attraction to women which i think ive talked about before, but essentially it causes a lot of problems which couldve been avoided if she was as loveless as dokja
[11:38 PM]it makes her trust women too easily, it makes their deaths hurt a lot more should she get attached, yadda yadda
[11:40 PM]even when she still thought she was a cishet man, her view on her own attraction to women has always been a little negative this whole time
[11:44 PM]and after the realization, she also has to confront the fact that she may not even be compatible with potential partners bc unfortunately orv does take place in a world similar to our own and straight people are the norm rip
[11:47 PM]this all culminated into her kind of squashing what little hope she had in ever having a normal relationship with someone, bc after being cracked this does mean in order for her to have a serious relationship, that requires her to actively seek it out which goes against her previously established principles
[11:49 PM]its a lot easier to naturally fall into a relationship when its a man and a woman in this society
[11:51 PM]girl, you are so fucking lucky seolhwa wants you carnally regardless of how she perceives you i swear
End ID.]
heres why focusing a little more on yoo joo’s attraction to women would have greatly improved the narrative (1/327)

so i started orv on a whim and im really really liking it so far!! i decided to start with the webtoon adaptation, is it good in your opinion or do you think i should read the web novel instead? i mostly started with the webtoon bc i was on webtoon n it was. There. but as the resident orv expert i thought i would ask your thoughts :)
omg ORV. HIIIII blows up but then puts self together again and twirls hair RESIDENT ORV EXPERT.... ME??? i'm honored........ i don't know if i deserve the role though because uh. tb completely h i haven't read the webtoon. like i read the prologue and that's it i haven't gotten any further than that..... this is my greatest shame i'm not fit to be considered an orvtual. that being said idk if i'm the best person to ask for thoughts about novel vs manhwa? i'll do my best to lay out what i do know for you though since you went to the effort of asking me!! if any of my orvtuals that are actually knowledgeable about both want to chime in feel free. sorry if this gets lengthy even if i'm not a super loyal fan i definitely get the normals over orv
so first thing to consider about orv as a whole in any form is that it's longggggg. the novel is composed of a prologue + 99 episodes + an epilogue, but those episodes and the epilogue were further split into smaller chunks during serialization so it's 551 chapters total. korean webtoons are usually split up in a similar way, larger story arcs split into small pieces for scheduled publishing, which is convenient for comparing them. based on a cursory look at the webnovel page, the latest chapter was number 135 and it's the very first part of episode 25. in the novel, chapter 135 is actually part 5 of episode 26, so you can see a slight discrepancy, but it's really not that bad. that timing is something, although it brings up a more pressing point to consider, which is that the novel is finished and the manhwa is like. not even a quarter of the way there. a webcomic chapter weekly is probably more digestible than a 551 chapter 1.3 million word webnovel, but you'll probably catch up before it reaches the end and then you'll either just have to wait it out for the end which would probably take a really long time or just start the novel while in the middle of the manhwa or something.
how accurate the manhwa adaptation is to the novel is what i can't really say since i haven't actually read the manhwa. i've heard that there's some notable changes, and although i don't know all of them or have seen how they've played out first hand they mostly sound pretty reasonable based on what i've heard of them. some of it is just like translation stuff, some of it is to avoid weird political things? this happens a lot whenever japan and korea comes up in each others media......... uh yeah it can get kind of messy there so sometimes skirting around it is probably just the safer option. anyways, to reiterate, i really can't speak much about this since i haven't read the manhwa, but i haven't heard anything about it being like drastically different and people generally seem to say really good things about the adaptation.
for my own personal thoughts. well orv is a frame tale. a story within a story. the webnovel within orv that kdj read is like the centerpiece of the whole story. if i was gonna be some sort of a purist about it, i'd tell you the original novel is the best way to experience orv. in all honesty though, it doesn't matter that much. like i vehemently believe if you're going to get really into orv you should read the novel at some point, but like again. 551 chapters. i get that a manhwa is way more palatable than that. even for other webnovels w adaptations like this, a lot of the time i'll read some of the adaptation to see if it interests me before getting into the novel. it's only because i'm sort of biased towards orv cause it's. well. orv. that i'd really push to read the novel, not even first if the thought of all those chapters and words are daunting to you. i'd much rather people get invested in the story through the manhwa than be turned off it as a whole just cause it's so long. if you're planning on just casually enjoying the story, than yeah, the webtoon is perfect for that. though if you could be convinced to go deeper. hey. take my hand. we can viewpoint this omniscient reader..... together.
okay. anyways. recap my main points in case i wasn't clear. 1) based on what i've heard just through word of mouth, the adaptation's been staying pretty true to the original and is doing a good job of telling the story 2) the novel is finished and the manhwa is, speaking bluntly, not even close 3) PERSONALLY. personally. if you're willing to put in the work to read orv and can appreciate it's 1.3 million word swag then i'd recommend you go ahead and start with the novel. BUT if the thought of all those chapters makes you nervous or makes the story sound any less appealing to you at all then definitely go with the webtoon while it's still fresh and relatively short. the most important part of orv is the way the story waves itself, and you should be able to see that pretty well either way.
so yeah that's what i have to say. i hope i could be somewhat helpful despite the fact that i'm a shameful fake fan and haven't actually read the manhwa ^^; and I HOPE THAT YOU LIKE IT no matter which one you decide to go with :]

ORV ( omniscient reader view point )
What you may read is really incorrect because 1, never read it until now. So im still in chapter 1 and all the information ( correct or no ) in this page? Is from tiktok.
I wanted to see what ORV ( omniscient reader viewpoint was all about, so i read 1 page of it. Though my FYP in tiktok is what dragged my interest to the novel. )
I wanted Dokja to be an older brother, so i gave him a little sister he's very protective off.
She knew Dokja killed their father, and their mother framed herself, she knew it all. But when push came to shove Dokja couldn't keep her and was separated from her because they were to young.
So they kept in touch, then she started reading Dokja's most favored novel for some type of escape like him. She knew he was the only one who read it and liked all her brother's comments and whenever he fought with other people for the novel.
She would always like his brother's comments, bad or good. She would always laugh whenever he got to Protective of the novel like it was his baby. But she knew it was his favorite.
She read it with him. When her brother called her about it-
"Hey Sun-Young, did you see the new reader of the novel? They keep liking my comments, does that mean they like it too? I see them giving reviews and reading it. "
She heard him say alot of times, she would laugh every time. She grew an attachment to the story.
"They commented! Their name is the : First Sundial. It's a really good name but i still think the Oldest Dream is the best one. " Dokja kept on going on, and on but she didn't mind. Ofcourse, she never did tell her brother it was her, she was supposed to tell him when he could adopt her-
Then the Apocalypse happened and she died.
Kim SunYoung, Would you like to be a constellation?
Yes or no
“________”
She jumps up to see she was.. outside of everything? She sees the Calamitized earth, a train? Why was a train in outer space? She didn't know, and didn't bother to even know.
Then she looks at herself, she looks normal. Then she looks at her hand.. a globe? A white globe with translucent but visible white ozone, then white clouds, white stars around it and a white globe inside it.
Why was she carrying this?
Then suddenly the white globe had pictures in it. It was a screen, and more so. She could see everything in the earth. The white globe was a circular screen.
Then she saw dokja, She saw her brother about to get eaten by a gigantic sea serpant "... Hah, ? "
She knew how this would end. Like the endless conspiracy theories her and her brother made about the story and how would they get our of the situation if they were there.
So she chuckled at the scene where him and the dokkebi are fighting and just enjoy the shows.
Then she realizes maybe those conspiracy theories won't help her brother more often then not, yes it was a but funny to see them worry, bur she ends up worrying with them, and she has no items or money to trade to save his life.. so contract's.
To survive she made contracts with stars? She didn't know. She made contracts with numerous beings so she could have money. Not the ones that were close to dokja in any way.
Challenges too.
She first won a golden apple.
She won some kind of white demon wings.
She made a contract with a fallen angel.. well, not really a contract but more of a favor.
The Fallen angel was dying and wanted to give her lover a wish.. but she couldn't get into heaven without a halo so the fallen angel had given her, her halo.
She made it, said the news and left.
Because of that, she now has a halo.. permanently and some kind of golden designs on her right hand, it seemed like some kind of tattoo? A white glowing tattoo.
Then she won a raffle.. on a white eyeball? Why is it always white and why was the eyeball so watery? White water from a white eyeball. Nice to know.
Then she needed to trade that white eyeball for some kind.. galaxy colored paint? She didn't know but the eyeball accidentally dropped into it and now she has a galaxy sclera with a white iris.
Then she just ran away.
She has all these gifts.. that she does not mean to even have. She wanted coins not items! She kept getting swindled and tricked on for some kind items that weren't cash!
She has a white globe that can turn into a fish eye screen. Some white dragon wings that she attach on her back, White halo, and some kind of white tattoo on her right arm, a golden apple and a white eye.
She kept losing and dying, and coming back to life, hah, sucks to suck.
Then after 3 months of just hopping from one star to another.. she see's a kid that resembles Yoo Joonghyuk alot.
She scoots over and takes off all her amazing gifts and looks to make it seem like what she was before.. a scrawny girl.
"I really should eat. " She mumbled goes forward to the girl(i don't know the gender so im going off on an limb here) and shake her hand.
"Hello "
"Hi "
( Yoo Eun-ho needs the Seeds of Sumeru and the flute of Andrius. So they make a contract. )
Plans!
"So we need to get to point A to point B but the problem is that I'll be dead. "
"Excuse me what? "
"So I'll transfer my conscious into another being that is allowed to go to point A. But the problem is that you don't know where Point B is and I'm not allowed to tell you because of the rules, now the plan is, is that i transfer.. 57% of my memories to a clone so it would know how to guide you to Point B.. but the problem is that I'll be dead so you wouldn't know what the clone would look like. "
"Dead? What do you mean you're going to die again!? "
"Okay, so lets review. You have my original body dead, conscious is in another being, while the plan is with another. The clone would know who you are while i won't, so you'll be strangers if we ever cross pass. We have a clone, a being, and two destinations. We need to get the flute and the seed of Sumeru. So you go here.. " she points at a place on the map they're reading. "And meet the clone while i go to Andrius to get the flute. "
"What.. since your memories would be in the clone.. how will you remember? "
"I'll write it on my skin. The plan i mean.
"Oh..okay. "
"With a sword. "
"Wtf! "
"Okay so after all that, you'd have to kill me for my memories and consciousness to submerged again. So you'll have to kill me twice. "
"I have to what!? "
"And let me tell you.. this plan ain't foolproof "
"... "
---
While being in the " darkness " with her conscious, she heard a voice.
"Kim Dokja won't be safe forever dear Sundial. You better hurry. "
And so, when they got the items, the flute and the seeds. she knew she needed to get in contact with an old friend.
"Hey, can you give me those golden chain Eun-ho? "
She was given the chains. She gave an upturned smile. Eun-ho has seen that smile alot. "When are you coming back? "
"Hey Eun-ho, go make some new friends won't you? I'll be quick but it'll be lonely for you. "  Sun-Young looked at the hurt girl.." I'll try to be quick. "
"Just come back. "
"Ofcourse i will, i promise you that. "
"Good. "
And so she left.
"I want half of your halo, and your left wing. "
He said.
" Okay but promise he'll survive and live a fulfilling life. "
"Here's the contract. "
When the contract done.
she shredded her left wing and crushed her halo.
"There, half of my halo and half of ny wing. "
"What the- "
"Sir we need them whole, they're useless to us if destroyed. "
"Agh, I don't want them, i want a refund. "
"We can't sir, the contract you pulled out was an ultimatum. "
"Tch. "
So the man had no use for them and given them back, the little Crystal  rocks of the halo was now on top of her head once again, only this time they're floating randomly.. like a bunch of islands in the sea just miles away from the main island
When her wings, it was like the halo, they couldn't ve stitch back together so now they're just randomly floating white parts of the wing.
Her left side was destroyed, like tiny pieces in the air floating around, the right side was whole. Atleast the floating pieces made an effort to make itself like wings and a halo.
"Looks like my wings have been shredded like paper, my halo is practically floating rocks with floating sand. "
She sighed "could've been worse. "
She couldn't flap her wing, so she couldn't fly using her wings anymore. "as a peace, why don't you give me your eye ball. Myth. "
"Myth? "She asked, never has she once heard her level in the Constellation system.
"Are you stupid? Geez. You keep accepting stupid challenges and quests that your name grew and you became a myth. Stupid, your name is worth so much I can't pronounce it, First Sundial.  "
... If that's true.. why the fuck was she broke?
" Ouh.. okay. Here have my eye for that information. "She dumbfoundedly mumbled as she reached for her left  eye and took it out. Which shocked her awake.
"Ouch! "She hissed then have it to him. "Goodluck! " She smiled and left.
Once she left the eye exploded. ".. this girl. " The man tsked as she looked at the eye juices.

Arry potter fan fic
Draco had split off from crabbe and goyle to follow Harry. Draco was a little confused to say the least. Had he known... Had he known that the gryffindor was actually a little beacon of hope... Hed have toned down on being a jerk all those years. Now they were into their fifth year and Draco couldnt help but follow loosely behind Potter as he made his way to his common room. "Hey Potter!" Yelled a boy from ahead of them. He outstretched his hand in the air and they high fived. "Hey Dean." Said Harry smiling, god... That gorgeous smile.. Dean gave Draco a glowering look but then whirled around confused afterwards. Draco only shrugged. He couldnt be a jerk today... "Hey Harry.." Giggled one of his many fan girls. Draco rolled his eyes. He hated, those girls... And then he found himself wondering... If he was jealous of them.  He shook his head. Harry only waved at them politely and proceeded on his way. Draco stuck his tongue out at them. They only gave him the finger and he smiled a tiny smile.  Harry wasnt aware he was being followed.he was too caught up in enjoying the saturday. "HP! The man to be!" Yelled an embarassed hufflepuff. Harry only smiled slightly and waved back. Finally after going through all that, theyd arrived. Harry spun around and drew his wand. "Whyre you following me. Come to tease? Orve you come to hurt." Harry growled lowly. Draco was backed up into the wall. "No.. No.. Of course not... Potter.." He sneered. "Why?" Harry asked confused. "Last i checked your common room was in the dundgeons." "I felt like seeing how it was." Harry lowered his wand. "Do.. Do you like me?" Harry asked honestly. "What if i do?" Draco asked. Harry just stood there weighing his answer. Draco pushed him off of him and began for the stairs. Harry pulled him into a kiss. "Likewise." He stated. -------------------------------------------------_________________________________________\ "Sir.. I dont have a ride home.." Said a small timid voice. The man turned around to face a little scarred boy. He was about rib height to the tall man. "Didnt you catch the bus?" He asked in a booming voice. "I missed it sir.." He admitted. They went to an all inclusive school where every kid was taken from home and taken home. By what ever means necessary. The man was the principal. "Alright.. Mcgonagall. Professor! Do you have room for one more?" He called to a younger older looking lady. "For heavens sakes, Albus. Of course I have room for one more, i dont exactly have the smallest car out there." "Just checking." Said the man cheerily. Remus gave an awkward little smile. It wasnt really a secret, by the looks of Remus, he had been through quite a bit. "Go along now, Remus. Therell be probably four more kids in that car, so prepare." He said with a chuckle. He saluted Albus and stalked over to where Mcgonagall stood. "Come along now, Remus." Said professor mcgonagal sternly. Remus hurried his pace and they left through the huge doors towards her car. In the window sat a boy makin pictures in the window with fog. He had jet black hair that was growing quite long. He looked very skinny and around the age of 13 just like Remus. "On the otherside, Mr.Lupin." She said. He walked around careful for cars. Then opened the door. He hadnt noticed the other three that already sat there. A chubby boy with sandy blonde hair. He had a round face and looked rather timid. 12 by the looks of it. Next to him sat a boy with jet black hair, very untidy. He wore big glasses and a robe which reminded Remus of a wizard. He was playing rock paper scissors with a blood red haired girl. When they all looked at him he grew rather red and sat down beside the, all. The girl looked up and gave Remus a piercing stare with bright emerald green eyes. The other two with grey and blue eyes. "You, whats your name?" Asked the untidy haired glassed boy. He looked skinny but not overly so.  "Remus." He replied softly. He wouldve pulled out a book had it not been for them all staring at him. Even the boy with long hair looked at him. He had deep black eyes. "Im James. James Potter, but you already knew that." He conceeded with an arrogant smile. Lily only shook her head and introduced herself. "Lily Evans. Im a grade older than you James." She said turning back to James. "Peter.. Peter Pettigrew." Said a timid peter. He looked intimidated. Remus gave a look towards the other boy but he did not answer. "Potter this is your stop." Mcgonagall said. They were down to just lily and the boy now. James moved over to the door and clambered over Remus. Remus let a grin take his face and James whispered "good luck mate. I havent gotten him to talk yet." Remus blushed but nodded. "Evans. Yours." "Thank you, professor." She said gently going over Remus. "What James said. Unless you catch the bus on time, i dont think we will see a lot of each other.. But i like you."  It was now just Remus and the boy. "Theyre all gone now." He acknowledged quietly. "Why yes.. I suppose so." "Im sirius Black. I know James. Hes.. Hes... Very loud. We will be friends im sure of it." "Of course." Said Remus relieved the boy was talking. "Do you know why.. Why he dresses in robes." Sirius began. "Im curious." Remus said truthfully. "Hes a wizard." "A.. Funny joke.." Remus said. "I dont tell jokes. He is a wizard. So am I" "No way. Prove it." The boy didnt waste a second. He pulled out what looked to be a wand and bubbles floated out the end. Remus floundered for words. "Wha?" He said at a loss for words. "If im not mistaken you are too. So is Evans, Pettigrew, Dumbledore, and that severus snape." "Oh and mcgonagall." "Im not a wizard. Im just normal." "Nope. Here." Said sirius handing over his wand. Remus took it delicately and gave it an awkward wave. Within the blink of an eye sirius turned yellow. "For merlins sakes!" Mcgonagall muttered. She pulled one out and aimed at sirius. "I must be halucinating.."  "Mister remus. Since mr.black here, has let the theoretical cat out of the bag. Its no secret. We are wizards. But since we have been kicked off of hogwarts for awhile.. Weve been covert. We allow all kinds of muggles." Remus nearly fainted. They all inteoduce themselves except for sirius who saves his introduction for after theyre all dropped off. Next day its just them and a greasy haired snape.

its 3am and i'm feeling completely normal about orv. the way yoo jooghyuk ALWAYS regresses for kim dokja?? 0th turn he literally ASKS for the regressor attribute for the chance to meet his sponsor, knowing full well that it could be thousands of lifetimes down the line. every regression thereafter, his primary goal, his driving force, is finding out more about his sponsor. then 1863 rolls around, he devises an elaborate plan to kill himself, but he gets a glimpse of kdjs worldline and is like "i will live to see that world". 1864: he attempts to regress to save the party (demon king selection) bc he believes kdj has a shot at getting the right ending, then later refuses to regress in order to see that ending WITH kdj (i forget when that happens, war of saints and demons maybe?). then in the epilogue, he regresses one final time in order to save kdj. not to mention his endless journey to deliver kdjs story to the other worldlines....
now, most of that time he was driven by contempt for his sponsor, but still. he lived for kdj in every sense of the word and im not okay about it
[and thats not even getting into kim "i am yoo joonghyuk" dokja. kdj lived for yjh for most of his life, and then kept his story alive for thousands of years on the subway. im so ill]
