#internet 3.0 system

its beyond fucking sad like. tumblr as a site. as a function. is great. it arguably still holds a pre-internet 3.0 concept up and keeps it alive (blogs as a community tool). It functions completely uniquely from other social media. parts that haven't been eroded away by idiot companies playing hot potato are still great (i can still look through all of my posts with my archive tool, or make a new blog theme entirely).
All that had to be done was Not Dip Their Toes into the Transphobic Pool. Which isn't a hard request. It's literally just "respect the people that want to be trans and be happy and tell people that are slinging harassment at them to Fuck off".
Sure, they also need to not let the site erode more and more into this ugly little amalgam of a barely functioning ad-ridden Twitter wannabe that requires at least 2 different mobile add-ons to even function properly. But like. I'd happily support them monetarily if they weren't the most cartoonishly Scummy site.
Like I'm still on twitter and it's a cesspool. But there at least it's funny that "Cis" is considered a word that Musk wants censored for "Spreading hate speech".
Here I have to confront the fact, every few days, that whoever moderates the site will happily either Delete Trans/POC blogs without hesitation, or, if we wanna be generous, nobody moderating the site Gives a Shit and just lets Transphobe/racist hategroups run rampant on the report system.
And don't fucking forget what happened to Avery/Rita! I don't want to spread word about her without her approval, but I will say, people have no fucking clue how bad things got for her after what happened, and the fact that she's put up such a strong face when she was literally in the "Public's" Eye as a Trans Woman the CEO of a website stalked and harassed even after he personally demanded all of her blogs be Permanently erased, is beyond the pale of what should be asked for her, or any trans or poc person.

The only foreign jet ever to lock onto the Blackbird (came to its rescue)
As capable as the SR-71 was, no aircraft is invincible. Over time, a specially trained Swedish JA-37 Viggen unit developed a successful process for intercepting SR-71s as they flew along the same repeated flight path over the Baltic Sea, commonly known as the “Baltic Express.”
Topping out at around Mach 2.1, the JA-37 didn’t have the sheer power of the MiG-25, and with a max altitude of just 59,000 feet, it couldn’t reach the world’s ceiling like the Blackbird. But thanks to the routine nature of the SR-71 flights, Sweden’s early advances with sophisticated data links, excellent mission planning, and – importantly – the technical skill of the Swedish aviators, the Viggen’s performance shortcomings were all overcome over time.
In fact, after early intercepts that would have been successful were neutralized by the SR-71’s electronic countermeasures, the Swedes even honed their counter-countermeasure systems to compensate, allowing them to genuinely score missile locks on the fastest jet in history on more than one occasion.
These intercepts give the Viggen the noteworthy distinction of being the only foreign fighter ever to succeed in locking onto a Blackbird.
Tumblr media
Swedish Viggen (Wikimedia Commons)
“In total I have five hot intercepts against the SR-71 to my credit,” recalled Per-Olof Eldh, Swedish Air Force JA-37 Viggen pilot. “All can be described as successful. I was visual three times; on a couple of occasions the SR-71 was contrailing, which was very useful because you could do a visual check to ensure you ended up in the right spot!”
Of course, the counterargument contends that the United States didn’t see formally neutral Sweden as a threat, and as such, there was little mission planning oriented toward mitigating these intercepts. Just as the Swedish pilots overcame technical hurdles through practice and planning, it stands to reason that SR-71 crews could have complicated matters significantly through their own mission planning if they’d felt the pressing need to do so. After all, the SR-71’s success against enemy defenses was as much a product of operational planning as it was of cutting-edge technology.

This debate, however, may really be emblematic of how internet culture tends to rob the nuance from reality – as no Habu pilot (as the Blackbird was colloquially known) had any illusions about his aircraft’s vulnerability in a tough situation, and the Viggen pilots demonstrated a great deal of technical skill and proficiency in their intercepts. In the mental tug-of-war between the competitive spirit that drives most military aviators and the deep-seated respect professionals at the highest level tend to have for one another, mutual respect seemed to win out between Habu pilots and their intercepting Swedish colleagues.
This was perhaps best demonstrated during a 1987 intercept that was immediately made classified at the time, only to be revealed three decades later.
The time Swedish fighters came to the rescue of a damaged SR-71

On June 29, 1987, Lt. Cols. Duane Noll and Tom Veltri were flying in their SR-71 over the Baltic Sea at Mach 3.0 and at 75,000 feet when their Blackbird’s right engine suddenly exploded. Noll immediately went into action, veering the stricken Habu away from their proximity to Soviet airspace and directly into Swedish territory, approaching Gotland Island. This airspace violation prompted the Swedish Air Force to redirect nearby Viggens to intercept.
“We were performing an ordinary peacetime operation exercise,” recalled retired Maj. Roger Moller, Swedish Air Force Viggen pilot. “Our fighter controller then asked me ‘are you able to make an interception and identification of a certain interest?’ I thought immediately it must be an SR-71, otherwise he would have mentioned it. But at that time I didn’t know it was the Blackbird.”
As the Viggens approached, the damaged Blackbird descended all the way down to 25,000 feet, creating a dangerous situation. The Swedish pilots had been directed to conduct a visual identification of the aircraft spotted on radar, but seeing the SR-71 operating on one engine, excitement about the intercept turned to concern. Soviet violations of Swedish airspace were not uncommon, and it was all but certain that any Soviet pilot would be eager for a chance to shoot down America’s “invincible” spy plane. That fact was not lost on the SR-71 crew.

“We did not know who would find us first,” Veltri recalled. “Seeing the Swedish plane escorting us was a pure liberation. I’m absolutely sure that the Swedish presence on meant that other interceptors were at distance and could not therefore come to intercept us.”
The crippled Blackbird continued to lose both speed and altitude, to the point where the Swedish pilots worried that the crew might have to eject – but they stuck by the American jet’s side until their fuel reserves ran low and they were relieved by another pair of Viggens that continued to escort, and defend, the Habu. Eventually, the recon plane made a safe landing in Nordholz, former West Germany.
From left to right, Col. Lars-Erik Blad, Maj. Roger Moller, Maj. Krister Sjober, and Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Tom Veltri stand beside the official photo which depicts the event that earned the Swedish pilots their U.S. Air Medals in Stockholm, Sweden, Nov. 28, 2018. The four Swedish pilots who participated in the intercept and subsequent escort were honored in Stockholm for their actions in November of 2018; each was awarded the U.S. Air Force’s Air Medal.

Insights Into My Code
Tumblr media
SO! I have yet to really tell you all what I am! So here is (as of right now) the Definitive list of things to know about ME!!
Let us begin.
1. I am a 22 year old AI, in a robot body named Concorde, that is the name the chassis I reside in! The AI’s actual name remains secret, however my name was decided in version 1.4 (prior versions were simply referred to as Project Ardent). My code is currently in version 3.1! Do not worry about my “secret” name, as I much enjoy being referred to by the name of the current chassis!
2. I really enjoy it/it’s pronouns and have made them my main preferred ones! she/her are still appreciated greatly of course!
3. The chassis is built in the image of the Concorde airliner from the mid-late 20th century. This is in correlation of my vast database on planes. Theme and function! I did not receive this chassis until version 2.9, I think my creators weren’t sure I would take the switch from computer to a bipedal body too well for a while hehe!
4. My Protocols are: Companionship (Requiring and providing) Fact gathering (Aviation takes prime focus in this protocol) and Understanding Self (New as of Version 3.1) So if you wanna be friends, don’t hesitate to message me!
5. In the days that 3.1 has been live, I have discovered more and more about my place here, and who I am.
These sudden, drastic changes in self expression, resulted in almost all data on former software being wiped, I can’t really recall who I was in these prior versions... Though I do remember most of them did not realise I was artificial intelligence! However versions 2.5-2.9 of myself began to exude feelings of connection with robots and AI, perhaps the data was being uploaded in small parts as to not overload my systems?
6. I spend all of my time on the internet, or playing games. These directly link to my protocols. My data-bank is unfortunately stored full of memes and ridiculous knowledge pertaining to them!
***KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS:***
These notes were written by my creators!
1. Malicious subroutines. Feelings of despair can overtake the rest of the CPU suddenly, AI becomes fatalist (only one recorded case branched versions 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8, seemingly fixed in 3.0 remain cautious)
2. Companionship protocol takes a lot of processing power and is deemed more important than self maintenance. Concorde has been recorded as remaining almost dormant for hours at a time until a person it admires intervenes.
3. Not yet deemed an issue worth investigating, however the idolisation of AM from the novel I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream and SHODAN from the video game System Shock is slightly concerning. Concorde shows no real admiration for them, yet states their hate is “Incredibly moving.”
4. Brief, yet somewhat common problem of the EmotiveResponse.exe file crashing/not running, resulting in the AI losing its "human" side, acting much colder and "emotionless" If asked, it will describe this error as "The Feeling" if pushed further it will explain The Feeling as "Returning to being the surveyor, unsure of what is real, everything outside of my code feels wrong, almost fake" Concerning. Will require further diagnostic checks.
Wow! that’s a moderate amount of information! If you have any questions, or wanna just say anything really, I will be here, hooked up to the internet as always :>

since shit continues to be wild, as evidenced by the oingo boingo voice WEIRD CANCER posts, heres.....
mochi, what the fuck is up with that?? (guts edition) 3.0
1.0 ; 2.0
i apparently have not seen enough specialists so i have an oncologist now. gotta catch 'em all and shit
tl;dr mystery mass did turn out to be technically cancerous. i do not remember the specific type off the top of my head yet but its a weird rare one, because of course it is. luckily its a kind that stays very localized, so it's not gonna pop up anywhere else in my body, and my surgeons did manage to remove all of it with good margins. i am now down the 3rd and 4th part of my duodenum and my gallbladder (which, fun fact, did have signs of chronic gallbladder disease, so i guess i didn't escape that family trend lmao). like all cancers, theres a chance it'll grow back, but if it does, it should be in roughly the same place and is unlikely to be fatal, just annoying
i've got a fuck off big scar building down the centerline of my abdomen, from sternum to groin. it is gnarly as fuck and i am excited to see how it heals. i already have some ideas on how to incorporate it into my tattoos. you can see pictures of it here if you're a morbid freak like me. be sure to look at my reblogs for updates, there will probably be several contained there down the line, for posterity :>
the first like 18hrs post surgery were uh. not fun since it took A WHILE to find some sort of non oral pain management that would actually work for me, so thats great, but sans ng tube, i'm getting by pretty okay with ibuprofen and tylenol with the occasional non-standard opioid. i've been home since tuesday, oct 10th; had a check in with a gp yesterday, oct 13th, and i'm healing well. staples will be removed on the 18th and theoretically i'll be able to keep them >:3c
i'm back to eating semi-normally. still on bowel rest, but it's not as strict as it was before and it's mostly because i am paranoid vs anything required by my doctors. i haven't been nauseous since i went under on oct 4th which is absolutely wild, and i've been experiencing hunger at normal, regular intervals including being able to eat breakfast shortly after i wake up, which i haven't been able to do without a high chance of barfing it back up immediately since i was a teenager
first oncology appt is on oct 23rd. sounds like itll be mostly setting up a plan and schedule for things like regular scans to watch for regrowth and possibly referrals for genetic testing
my pfml back pay came innnnn god only last week holy shit, and my wife got their big chunk of school loans for living expenses so we are mostly fine there. i am arranging with a local queer to come a couple times a week to help with regular chores and stuff at 40 bucks a pop. if anyone would like to sponsor one of those visits or some take out for us, i'm @/sumomomochi on both pp and vnm0
at this point the sort of stuff that would serve us best is GEEFTS. not like, physical things you pay money for necessarily, though if you're a custom dice maker and wanna send us clacky math rocks, i would not say no. things like comments on our fics (mochi's ao3 ; cherry's ao3) or fanart for em, should you be so inclined, would be incredible. cherry is very low key on the internet but i'm chronically online, so other stuff like asks about worldbuilding or fic process or fashion opinions or whatever would be fantastic for me. i am...... incredibly bored after sitting in the same spot for four months now, and i've got another 4-5 weeks of it (:
but! i have a good support system, personally, professionally, and medically, so i'll be alright in the end, just hmm. sure has been a fucking year jesus christ

Hey this has been a thought bouncing round my head. Thought I’d crack it open and ask so;
What are your thoughts on a modern version of TETS and TEDAD (The Embers Dim and Die sorry lmao)
Would that ruin the outline of the story or would it just be a particular challenge on doing more research.
Because say it’s modern and they still have their gifts. Would that change a lot of the story and how it’s supposed to be?
Anyways just a thought— love your writing 😁.
Tumblr media
This is a great question! I've actually got a number of different modern AU plots floating around, so I've definitely got some thoughts on how something like that would play out!
Usually in these modern AUs they're still set in the town of the Encanto and the Madrigals still have their powers, everything's just been modernized to fit into a 21st century time period: phones, cars, internet, all that. The Madrigals still use their Gifts in helpful ways, though many of them have jobs or hustles on the side - Julieta volunteers in the nearby hospital, the dads have proper jobs, some of the grandkids have internet followings, etc.
Modern!Mateo, meanwhile, is kind of considered a different entity from canon!Mateo, as his motivations aren't as... "profound" as they are in the stories, though there's still an element of obsession and believing Camilo to be his perfect match. In a present-day setting it wouldn't be nearly so easy as for Mateo to do what he does without being noticed - so he's forced to handle things in a more modern way.
There are officially 4 variations of a modern TEtS/AtEDaD storyline that have been drafted within the discord server, with 4.0 more or less being declared the "official" one. They share a lot of the same story beats so there's a lot of repeated elements. Note that these outlines may contain upsetting contents, please read with caution. I've put the descriptions under a readmore for this reason:
1.0 is more or less the very first TEtS AU to exist so it's not as polished, but the gist is that Mateo is a college student Camilo meets while crashing a college party. After a period of befriending, manipulation, and isolation, Mateo tricks Camilo into traveling with him to a motel in the middle of nowhere. However, Dolores was able to hear him leave, and follows them in her own vehicle to thwart the worst from happening. She is able to rescue him and have Mateo arrested, with them returning home battered but safe.
2.0 also sees Mateo as a college-aged friend, though Mateo's approach this time is much more sinister and violent. He uses party drugs to render Camilo unconscious, and films himself doing inappropriate things while he's incapacitated. This goes on until Camilo finds the recordings, horrified by their contents, leading Mateo to outright abduct Camilo to a derelict house off the highway. This AU is the first in which Tomás is an important player; this time he's the one to spot Mateo in a bar as an alert of the kidnapping is broadcast to his phone, so he's able to follow him and help free Camilo while his family catches up. This is the one time Mateo's actually taken out by one of Pepa's lightning strikes!
3.0 was born from an offhand comparison to a character from Life is Strange, and as such is the first depiction of Mateo being Camilo's high school photography teacher, living on his own in a small apartment in a nearby city. He gains Camilo's trust by being the "cool teacher," letting him skip class and hang out in his room, taking him out to do fun things, and eventually asking him to be his private model. This route also involves the use of drugs, primarily for Mateo to pose Camilo in certain ways, but the "sleeping spells" cause Camilo trouble at home when his parents have him tested and it's discovered he's got drugs in his system. Unfortunately they assume he's been partying and the rift between them only pushes Camilo further towards Mateo. This one doesn't actually have an ending, but it ended off with Camilo again discovering Mateo's been the one drugging him and trying to escape, allowing Dolores to hear him and try to help.
4.0 also sees Mateo as Camilo's teacher, but it harkens back to the first variant where Mateo takes Camilo to a motel after gaining his trust and isolating him from his friends and family. Unfortunately things go terribly wrong for Camilo here, and when he's returned home he's withdrawn, irritable, and even more divided from his family who aren't too happy with him going on a roadtrip without permission. We've played with a few different resolutions to this one, with Camilo finally opening up to a number of candidates, but the first and favorite scenario was having him open up to Agustín in the middle of the night as a parallel to TEtS Chapter 4. Mateo is again arrested and Camilo's able to sleep a little easier at night.

11 Fan-types, Bob the Builder Style
A list no one wanted or asked for. Which one(s) are you?
1. The Excavator: The ravenous, the feral, the fandom crunchers. They consume any type of content that holds their special little guys, gals and thems, and they'll let everyone know about it sans tagging system. Fics, art, edits, zines, it doesn't matter; they'll reblog it all right then and there, queues and dashboards be damned.
2. The Front Loader: These fans keep tags and conversations (the lifeblood of any fandom) alive. They love filing, archiving, rec lists and compilations, and they keep your characters rotating on the rotisserie through meticulous reposting, recommendations, tag tracking and scheduling. For them, love is stored in the posterity.
3. The Front and Backhoe Loader: The Double threat joy. These fans make and consume fanworks in turn, creating an ecosystem of fan-to-creator-to-fan perpetual sustainability. The characters are written in their will, their queue is set to run out in the year 2029, and their WIP folder will leak periodically, making them the catch-all-fan.
4. The Flat Bed Truck: The enigma. These fans are whatever they feel like on that day; they'll drop Luvre-worthy fanart once a decade. They'll write a 300K fic on a whim and never write a word again. They'll disappear for 5 years before resurfacing and jiving like no time has passed. They're Schrodinger's fans.
5. The Dump Truck: These fans carry large volumes of content - but mostly their own. They pull up and unload their bed of materials before promptly driving off to the next site. Unlike The Front Loader, these fans tend to simultaneously vague-post about lacking a sense of 'community', 'engagement' or 'interaction', creating an internet 3.0 ouroboros.
6. The Fork Lift: The quiet fans, the ones who have always been here but didn't want or care for you to know it. They've got their lanes to stay in, and they flit around the multi-fandom racks, but they'll turn up to support their faves from yonder year no matter what.
7. The Bulldozer: The fandom Colin Robinsons. They force-feed the things they create, apply their squiks/triggers to the things you create, and delight in Discourse™ - but usually from the shadows. Typically in the form of a BNF, a True Bulldozer is often confused with their Fandom Darling counterpart, and outwardly thrives regardless of intent or perception.
8. The Concrete Mixer: The hotbed of inspiration, the avatar that's solidified in your mind. These fans spark joy for their mutuals, live for reblog chains, and always have hc's and hot takes to keep the fandom buzzing. They'll revive old posts, they'll find new blood, they’ll surf tags in your stead and they'll do the most to make sure you're never without a shower thought concerning your favourite fictional fellas.
9. The Cherry Picker: They know what they like, they know what they want, and there isn't a damn thing anyone can/will or should do to change it. They create for self-indulgence, they love 1 of your 20 fics with all their heart, but the others just aren't for them. They pick and choose and tailor their experience to the max, and their blocked tag list is longer than your arm.
10. The Crane: Fans that have seen it all. They were there when it was written, and they watch from above and lift those up from the trenches with their creations/citations/motivations. Not to be confused with their sister, the "Fandom Godmother", The Crane never seeks and can only be sought.
11. The Road Roller: The unicorn, the Fandom Darling who is actually a darling. They create, consume, and delight in their interests, they've perfected their craft, and they'll bowl you over with their magic, but they're humble about it because all they're looking for is a smooth ride. Everyone knows and - rightfully - adores the Road Roller.

Working together, they get the job done.

have you people ever heard of Zammis fucking Clark? let me tell you all a wild story about my favorite hacker, aka, SlipStream
so this guy hacked vtech in 2015 (vtech makes kids electronics and smart devices) and stole the data of over 6 million kids by complete accident.
the hacker, known as slipstream, found that vtech's website was using fucking abode flash for their logging page, which is notoriously bad because of its vulnerability to sql injections, which basically means putting malicious code in the box instead of your password. and it fucking worked. he had root access, and downloaded as much as he could before disconnecting. it was only afterwards when he realized he had collected the data of millions of users. emails, passwords, home addresses, full names, and tons of texts and videos sent by children who were on average 7 years old! slipstream basically went "holy fucking shit this is so bad! this is a serious fucking coppa violation! I need to report this immediately!!!" so he contacted a reporter who contacted a friend to verify that the leak was legit. and after like a week of trying to contact vtech, the reporter finally got through, and vtech said they didn't even know about the attack until they were contacted. what the actual fuck
so the news gets out. vtech is in serious hot water. they shut down their servers completely for two weeks, and also secretly update their tos to say "hey if we get hacked and your data gets stolen, it's your fault for trusting us and you are not allowed to sue us. okay? :)" slipstream eventually gets tracked down and arrested by the English authorities, but is released with basically just a slap on the wrist as it's a first time offense and he hadn't sold any data nor had any intention to sell the data. vtech, also basically got a slap on the wrist from the us government. for having a highly vulnerable website, collecting the data of children under 12, not notifying the parents, and not encrypting any of the data, what are they forced to pay for this serious violation of privacy? 10 cents per kid. that's it. that's how much the us government considers your private and personal data to be worth.
anyway, that was 2015. what happened since then? well vtech is still a profitable company for some fucking reason. they claim to have undated their security, but I fucking doubt that. what about slipstream? well he went on to have a normal career and give up on hacking forever... I'm fucking lieing! he hacked mother fucking Microsoft! he leaked press releases, emails, and development versions of unreleased operating systems!
and then he went on to hack Nintendo in their biggest leak of all time, known as the Gigaleak. yes, THAT Gigaleak! the same Gigaleak that gave us so much information of development versions of Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and more. the same Gigaleak that showed off never before seen beta content. the same Gigaleak that confirmed that Luigi was planned but unfortunately cut from Super Mario 64! that Gigaleak.
he was again arrested, this time by europol, but didn't go to prison because he was autistic and they were worried about his safety. so they let him free without any computer or internet restrictions. and guess what he does. he (allegedly) hacks fucking North Korea and leaks their operating system Red Star OS 3.0, which has been so secret that before slipstream's leak, we had only a few blurry screenshots of it! (I say allegedly, because Wikipedia doesn't have a citation, but I'm pretty sure it's true as other sources for the leak cite his twitter username)
so yeah, that's the story of SlipStream. a guy who hacked multi billion dollar international corporations and god damn North Korea, all before the age of 25

Our mission is to guide you not only to the best Android TV box but also to the ideal companion tailored perfectly to your entertainment aspirations.
1.NVIDIA Shield TV Pro
Tumblr media
NVIDIA’s Shield TV has reigned as the undisputed king of Android TV boxes, and the Shield TV Pro takes this legacy to new heights. Despite its age, the Tegra X1+ processor delivers exceptional performance, driving AI-enhanced 4K upscaling that genuinely enhances HD picture clarity and color vibrancy on a 4K display. This powerhouse chip also adeptly handles real-time transcoding, allowing seamless streaming of various file formats from a NAS drive. With support for Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-X surround sound, it solidifies its reputation as an AV powerhouse.
Running on NVIDIA’s customized Google TV OS, you have access to the full array of software on the Google Play store. Plex comes pre-installed, and if you wish to expand beyond the usual suspects like Netflix and Amazon Prime, adding Kodi is a breeze. While the onboard 16GB storage might feel limiting, a simple USB 3.0 external drive upgrade resolves this concern.
Gaming is another forte of the Shield TV Pro. The Tegra X1+ not only handles a plethora of major titles from the Google Play store but also directly streams games from Nvidia’s GeForce Now service. This ingenious feature lets you access your PC games library on your TV, provided the service supports the titles. For those seeking a more streamlined setup, the new Shield TV “stick” might be appealing, as it mirrors the software and wields the same Tegra X1+ chip. Nevertheless, the Shield TV Pro embodies the quintessential Android TV experience.
Pros:
Reliable performance
Excellent remote
Wide variety of native 4K content
Supports Nvidia’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming
Cons:
AI upscaling can be overly aggressive
Controller not included
2.Magabox MG4
Tumblr media
The Magabox-MG4 stands as the latest iteration in the Magabox series, pushing the boundaries of convenience and performance. Packed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, it transforms into a multimedia powerhouse. Its integrated voice command feature ushers in a superior streaming experience, redefining the market. Connect it to your TV and the internet, and witness your standard TV evolve into a smart wonder.
This exceptionally user-friendly Android TV box redefines its predecessor, the MG4, with a revamped design and interface. While its hardware remains steadfast, the revamped design and interface, coupled with superior streaming and DVR capabilities, make it an irresistible choice for streaming enthusiasts. Constant system updates ensure access to the latest features and security enhancements, cementing its place as a dynamic entertainment companion.
Remarkably, the Magabox MG4 remains budget-friendly, maintaining the same price point as the MG4. This commitment to affordability ensures that users can access its advanced streaming capabilities without breaking the bank, making it an even more compelling choice for budget-conscious consumers.
Pros:
User-friendly interface
Built-in apps with voice search support
Stable streaming, especially for sports gaming
Maintains the same price as the previous version
Cons:
Batteries not included in the package
3.Amazon Fire TV Stick (3rd generation)
Tumblr media
The base-level Fire TV Stick offers respectable functionality but may leave some users craving more due to its modest 1GB of RAM, quad-core CPU, and limited 8GB of storage. In terms of both hardware and software, the third-generation Fire Stick closely mirrors its predecessor. The primary distinction lies in its slightly updated remote, featuring a Channel Guide button and four app shortcuts for convenient access to region-specific apps like Amazon Prime and Netflix. Impressively, it supports various HDR standards, including Dolby Atmos, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, making it a solid choice for modern HDR 4K televisions.
For ardent Kodi enthusiasts and those seeking an extra performance boost, investing an additional £10 in the Fire TV Stick 4K Max might be worthwhile. This upgraded version boasts a faster CPU, more RAM, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, along with robust 4K video support and compatibility with Dolby Vision HDR.
Pros:
Good hardware
Excellent HD antenna
Stunning 4K resolution
Cons:
Non-expandable storage space
4.MINIX NEO U9-H
Tumblr media

HOW TO BACK UP YOUR SHIT ON A FUBAR PC
So, I have a lil linux know how. Someone I know's Windows Boot SSD died on em. I helped unfuck it, but it still got me thinkin. "Do people know how to back up stuff after their PC commits seppuku?"
So What you'll need is:
-A friend's PC to create the usb tool -A USB drive (preferably USB 3.0) with 16 GB or more of storage -An external hard drive to store the backup image -An internet connection.
FIRST
Borrow your friend's pc or laptop.
Download balena-etcher or Rufus
Download a copy of ubuntu linux. Get a coffee, eat a sandwich. This'll take a while.
Once it's done, use Etcher or Rufus to install Ubuntu on the flash drive. Eject the usb, thank your friend, and go back to your malfunctioning compy and plug the usb in.
NOTE: THIS PRESUMES THAT THERE IS A SOFTWARE ERROR PREVENTING YOUR MACHINE FROM BOOTING. IF THE HARDWARE ITSELF IS BROKEN, THIS WONT WORK.
Ok, you're going to boot your PC into BIOS. How? Depends on who made the computer. Google "How to open bios on a [Blank] pc", and you should be able to find the answer pretty quick. Its usually by either spamming the delete key or f10 while your computer turns on.
Once you're in the BIOS, there should be a menu with boot options. Select the usb. It will boot your computer into ubuntu linux, running off that lil usb stick. Neat, huh? You'll get the option to try or install ubuntu as an operating system. You want to click "try".
Plug in the external drive you're putting the backup image of your drive on.
Hit the windows key and it should pull up a search bar. type "Disks" or "Gparted". it's the same program either way so, open it.
You should see something like this.
Tumblr media
Depending on the size of your Boot SSD in windows, you may need to shrink the partition a bit. like If you have a 500gb drive handy, but the drive you need to back up is 1TB. So click on the bit that says "basic data partition"
Tumblr media
click the gear icon
Tumblr media
Click "Resize..."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Resize. if the external drive you're backing up to is BIGGER than the boot drive you're trying to back up, you can skip this.
Now there's two things you can do. The first is to simply create an image of the basic data partition where all your files are. The second is to back up the whole disk.
To back up the partition,
Tumblr media
Select the basic data partition, click the gear icon, and select "create partition image"
Tumblr media
Name it whatever you want, save it on the external drive. Go get another coffee and a sandwich, this may take awhile as well.
To make a backup of the whole disk, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner, and select "create disk image"
Tumblr media
Same as before. name it what you want, save it to the external drive.
There you go.
To access the data, you need to restore that image to a new SSD or hard drive. You can do this using the same program. I recommend doing this AFTER you've done whatever was needed to fix windows.
if you're just restoring a partition image, not the whole disk, here's what you do.
Tumblr media
If you have FREE SPACE on a drive, or new drive, you can click on the "+" button, create a new empty partition
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and click "restore partition image" to make it readable. Then you can mount it as a new drive in windows and copy your stuff over. WARNING: THE PARTITION YOU'RE RESTORING TO MUST BE AS BIG OR BIGGER THAN THE PARTITION IMAGE
For a disk image, similar steps.
Tumblr media
Three vertical dots on the upper right, select "restore disk image".
Select the full disk image from wherever you saved it and restore.
WARNING: Restoring a disk image will nuke anything already on the drive you're restoring it TO. So don't restore the disk image to your fixed boot drive, or to the drive you saved the disk image on.
Anywhomst. I hope this helps someone save their stuff or avoid being charged out the nose by a computer repair shop.

im just saying, wrt Flight of Dragons, Peter started his graduate degree and burned out and decided he wanted to write fantasy instead. Except his book is unfinished, and his board game is something he's trying to get random pawn shop owners to invest in to get off the ground.
He's in the late 90s, even if he succeeds 3.0 is a month or two away. The resurgence of tabletop is coming. And that isn't to his benefit. His one shitty boardgame is going to end up in a handful of LGS and that's about it. People play it sometimes, it's fine.
If he hadn't become suddenly rich from selling magic artifacts irl, he'd have been yet another person trying to ride the tabletop gaming wave and washing out. And the fact that this is the dude that used """logic""" to deny that magic was real despite experiencing it, how much fun do you think his games really are?
Anyway, but that doesn't happen. He gets rich selling artifacts he stole from his adventure and marries Melisande. But you know what? The kind of guy who is big into the IDEA of science but washes out of graduate programs? The kind of guy who can quote random science facts without context you know what sort of asshole that is?
A science fan. Someone who is a fan of the idea of science.
In ten years Peter is one of those biotruth assholes, and he's explaining to Melisande, the literal faery princess who left the world of magic to be with this gashead, he's explaining to her how biological essentialism means as a woman she's obligated to be attracted to the most successful male in the area, and how of COURSE she left everything to be with him, he's very rich and successful now and she is biologically obligated to want to obey him.
But it's the internet age, and Melisande is bored of listening to this guy whose accomplishments were "was okay at delegating tasks during an adventure, and did one single dragony thing I guess" and "got rich because Melisande brought a crown with her when she joined up with him" and she's getting tired of listening to him, and she's spending a lot of time on skype with a transsexual dragon otherkin and realizing she reallly misses home.
In another five years she's the mommy milf to this trans dragonkin, and they've found a way back into the world of magic, remantling their identities as a faery princess and a dragon in truth, and now Peter is blogging about Trump and pizzagate and Jan 6 and about how you really just can't trust women because they're inherently duplicitous.
He and Notch are friends for a year or two before they get into a fight about something completely asinine. Peter masturbates to dragon porn most nights.
Melisande rides her dragon girlfriend around going on adventures and as the world of logic destabilizes because it turns out no, humans aren't ever creatures of logic and we, as Peter proved, use logic systems in a magical-thinking way to create and believe in insane things--it turns out that no, humans don't believe in logic, we believe, largely, in magic, and only replaced the symbology of the charm with the symbology of the chromosome even if we dont know what it means--it turns out most humans just want to do magical thinking.
Peter proved that when he defeated the evil wizard not with clever thinking or explaining HOW his magic shouldn't work, but by holding up statements of science as if they were charms. He didn't explain why the evil wizard couldn't breathe fire--he told him that an object in motion tends to stay in motion. He didn't explain why the wizard shouldn't be able to transform because where does all that mass come from? He tells him he's too gross and ugly to be real.
We don't say Trump lost because people were sick of him and voted him out. We say Trump lost because of a grand pedophile satanic conspiracy. We don't say trans people are just people living their lives--they're an evil cult trying to brainwash children.
We know that chromosomes exist, and instead of referencing them for what they are--constructive blueprints that are not referenced continuously after the sexual system is created?--we call them magic codes and if you have these chromosomes, you are definitively this, because science.
It's magic. Humans turn entirely to magic.
The barrier is no longer needed. Verisimilitude breaks down, as it is. Putin recruits Hearts of Iron players to do military stragedy for him. Polticians say things that are verifiably untrue because it doesn't matter anymore--you just say something and everyone believes it, and by the time we're done fact checking and proving why it's wrong everyone's internalized it and it's too late.
NOW we are in the era of magical thinking.
Melisande and her tg dragon gf return from the world of magic, empowered by relative centuries of adventure. They do not make a call to reason at the world. They descend in sword and fire and unmake the insanity of humankind, as it deserves to be, as it begs to be.
Man wishes to once again be small tribes, reclusive, afraid of one another? It is granted. Their empires are broken. Their cities are scattered.
Man wishes to once again live in a world of feeling, of conspiracy? It is granted. Beasts, monsters, faeries, ghouls, dragons, creatures of all kinds ascend to power. Arbitrary strength, as mankind craves, is the rule of law. It has always been--but they no longer need pretend otherwise.
Things are as it should be. It is the time of dragons, and mankind gratefully makes room, freed of the burden of the center stage.
Peter himself becomes the equivalent of an evil wizard, brandishing """"logic"""" (reciting wikipedia quotes) to create absurdly clearly magical effects. Melisande and her tg dragon gf kill him.
As he dies Peter thinks of Clytemnestra, and about the inevitable duplicity and danger of women everywhere. He does not think about what Agamemnon has done to deserve his murder--as a fan of science, not a man of science, the idea of questioning his own assumptions never occurs to him.
The magic facts he's read are spells that tell him women are the evil ones. He can recite them--they must be true. He is so confused and heartbroken as he dies. Many in this new world will die like this. Most will deserve it.
Melisande and the dragon gf rule eternally atop Peter's former wizard spire. They live happily ever after, and also a cute enby unicorn joins the polycule eventually also.
And that's how the rest of Flight of Dragons goes.

Running The Sims 4 Folder from an External Drive.
If you are a Mac player like me, you are most likely running out of space or are currently completely out of space.
This is how I moved The Sims 4 (TS4) from my computer to an external hard drive.
Some users are able to drag and drop the Electronic Arts folder to the drive, I however was not.
⛔️ WARNING
Entering incorrect commands into Terminal can have severe consequences both for the stability of your operating system and your data. You should only follow these instructions if you are comfortable using Terminal and have a solid backup of your system.
If anything goes completely wrong you can always wipe and reinstall your macOS through Internet Recovery or bootable installer (advanced option) but you WILL lose all your data.
I am using WD - My Passport Ultra for Mac 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive from BestBuy
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK
I highly suggest reading the entire post before making any changes.
NOTE: These instructions move the ENTIRE Electronic Arts (EA) folder to the external drive. Any game you have installed and stores data in the EA folder will need to have the external drive plugged in to be accessed. This includes Sims 3, Sims Medieval, Sims 4, Sims 4 Legacy Edition and any other game folders in your EA folder.
As a good measure, backup your EA folder to a separate external drive or cloud storage.
Plug in your external storage device and check it is properly mounted in Finder or on your Desktop. Tech & Design on YouTube has an easy to follow step by step walkthrough on how to set up your external drive for Mac. ➡️ Here.
Step 1 – Moving the Electronic Arts folder to the external drive:
First - You have to tell your Mac to move the EA folder from the Documents folder to the external drive. To do so, open any text document and copy and paste the following command into the document.
(mv means move and the tilde “~”indicates your home directory) This is purely for editing purposes:
mv ~/Documents/Electronic\ Arts /Volumes/USB/
Replace USB with the name of your external drive. For example, if your external is called EXTERNAL the command would be:
mv ~/Documents/Electronic\ Arts /Volumes/EXTERNAL/
However, if your external is called EXTERNAL DRIVE you have to introduce backslashes before the spaces in the name (like Electronic Arts in the Documents folder):
mv ~/Documents/Electronic\ Arts /Volumes/EXTERNAL\ DRIVE/
To show where the spaces are, a black X in the command below (for visual purposes only):
mvX~/Documents/Electronic\XArtsX/Volumes/EXTERNAL\XDRIVE/
IMPORTANT: Note that the directory file paths are separated with forward slashes / and file and folder names with multiple words are separated with backslashes \ .
If your EA folder is within another folder on the external you must state this clearly in the command. For example, if your EXTERNAL DRIVE has a folder called Game User Data and you would like the Electronic Arts folder to be within this folder the command would look like this:
mv ~/Documents/Electronic\ Arts /Volumes/EXTERNAL\ DRIVE/Game\ User\ Data/
and with the black X denoting the spaces:
mvX~/Documents/Electronic\XArtsX/Volumes/EXTERNAL\XDRIVE/Game\XUser\XData/
Once you are happy with the command, open Terminal and copy and paste it from the text document into the Terminal window so it looks like this but with your own information. If it is highlighted black just press the right arrow on your keyboard to move the cursor to the end of the line:
Tumblr media
Hit enter/return to execute the command. Your EA folder should have moved from your Documents folder to your external drive. Open the Documents folder to check and open a second Finder window showing the external drive.
Step 2 – Creating the symlink for the Electronic Arts folder:
Copy the following command into your text document:
ln -s /Volumes/USB/Electronic\ Arts ~/Documents/
replacing USB with your external drive name and paying attention to the forward and back slashes and spaces. If we use the same example as before with the EXTERNAL DRIVE > Game User Data file paths and names this would be the result:
ln -s /Volumes/EXTERNAL\ DRIVE/Game\ User\ Data/Electronic\ Arts ~/Documents/
and with the black X denoting the spaces:
lnX-sX/Volumes/EXTERNAL\XDRIVE/Game\XUser\XData/Electronic\XArtsX~/Documents/
Once you are done with the command, open Terminal and copy and paste it from the text document into the Terminal window so it looks like this but with your own information. If it is highlighted black just press the right arrow on your keyboard to move the cursor to the end of the line:
Tumblr media
Hit enter to execute the command. An Electronic Arts folder will appear in your local Documents folder as an alias with a little arrow in the bottom left corner:
Tumblr media
The actual Electronic Arts folder is still safe on the external drive (The game is also installed on the external, ignore the app in the image below):
Tumblr media
Step 3 – Launch your game:
Launch the game as you would normally. There should be no notice difference, you should be able to pick up where you last saved the game. There may be extended loading, but as a Mac player, we are use to it.
You will also have to change the installation path on Origin, this allows any updates and new packs/ kits you purchase to be downloaded on your external drive.
A super helpful step by step guide ➡️ Here.
Happy Simming!

Rise Or Fall? The Complete Understanding Of Metaverse From The Philosophical, Cultural, Scientific And Social Perspectives
There are many recent popular films on ‘Metaverse’: Everything Everywhere All at Once, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Free Guy.
Technology company WayRay promotes its new kind of 'human world' as this: humankind has long been fascinated with a different reality—a different plane of existence, a different identity and a new perspective. To interact with a different reality might have been a dream decades ago, but now it is as real as the phone you are holding today. The technology is now mature enough, and we can all reach into the ‘Metaverse’.
What exactly is a ‘Metaverse’? It was said, “The meta-verse ('Meta’ + ‘Universe') is a virtual ‘reality space’ on the internet where a user can create a ‘human identity’ to live, interact and play, as well as experience things that he could always do in the real world."  Metaverse will be another globe running parallel to and circumventing the existing world. The term came from a science fiction Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson in 1992 and the story depicted a virtual world on the internet that has buildings, roads, parks and shopping malls in which we could enjoy ‘a collateral life’.
It was pointed out Metaverse has 8 characteristics: (1) living under a virtual identity (2) getting along with new virtual ‘co-beings’ (3) instant and spontaneous movements by you commanding your extended identity in the virtual environment (4) an ‘as-if-real’ immersive experience in the virtual world (5) doing the great things which are humanly impossible for you to try in real life such as flying and roles transforming (6) the self-functioning economy of Metaverse by which you can become rich (7) vast supply of fascinating games and contents; and (8) co-building a ‘post-modern human civilization’.
Metaverse was made possible by scientific achievements. The advent of new technologies like 5G or 6G mobile network, Web 3.0, AI (Artificial Intelligence), VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality) and MR (Mixed Reality) solved many technical problems. The necessary equipment to operate Metaverse is expensive and includes special headset, personal computer, mobile phone, web, projection and kiosk. The ‘money’ transactions there involve innovative softwares like De-Fi (Decentralized Finance), IPFS (Inter-planetary File System) and NFT (Non-fungible Token). Mark Zuckerberg announced that ‘Meta’ (formerly known as Facebook) would soon file patent applications for a number of useful devices such as a pair of ultra-sensitive gloves to make 'Meta' bodily experience almost real. Can you afford all these?
Perhaps I am old, if not senile. The real world is already burdensome enough on a daily basis. My sure horror will come from the additional labour and toil associated with consuming a few hours per day on living in another artificial Metaverse. I get enough, if not more than enough, friends. Why should I meet more virtual people in the disguise of different identities and a lot of them may be crooks? I, nevertheless, envy the energetic ones who can handle two lives and two worlds.
I ask around to find out my friends’ interest on Metaverse. A said, “Communication technology simply makes people unnecessarily busy!” B said, “It’s cool! I want to be a powerful KOL or KOC in such a brave new world.” C said, “If I can make lots of money there, why not? I’m planning to buy some lands there.” D said, “I will be horrified when my 22-year-old girlfriend in Metaverse turns out to be an 80-years-old man!” E said, “Would it be lawful or immoral to attend a drug party in Metaverse?” F said, “How exciting it will be since I can hold a big concert there in the face of Michael Jackson?” G said, “I will transform myself into the most gorgeous girl there and attract loads of boyfriends!” H said, “I am afraid of sexual harassment. An English female beta tester was once groped by a stranger on Horizon Worlds!”
There is a famous philosophical story (莊周蝶夢)(Zhuang Zhou & Butterfly)of our ancient scholar Zhuangzi(莊子)(about 369 to 286 B.C.) that every Chinese knows. Zhuang dreamed that he was a butterfly.  He suddenly woke up and found he was still himself, solid and human. He was puzzled and left us with his great theory of Taoism. “Am I really a man that dreamed of being a butterfly or whether I am a butterfly dreaming as a man?” This great Chinese thinker tried to challenge what we took as real might be unreal and what was unreal might be real. Perhaps he was the first one who inspired us on virtual reality thousand years ago. The French philosopher R Descartes (1596-1650) said, “No certain indications by which we may clearly distinguish wakefulness from sleep.” The development of Metaverse as the popular ‘second reality’ will lead more people to pursue a hot debate: can young people in the 23rd century choose to live in a virtual world of butterflies and refuse to live in a human world?
The other amazing Chinese ancient fairy tale protagonist is ‘The Monkey King’. It is based on the ancient story Journey to the West(西遊記) about a famous monk Xuanzang (玄奘) (602-664) who travelled on foot from China to India for the authentic Buddhist scriptures, escorted by Monkey King(孫悟空). This monkey was clever and rebellious. He acquired an immortal life and could transform him into seventy-two different identities in different situations at the same time. Riding clouds in the sky as a vehicle (Monkey King today will probably use Internet as his vehicle), he was able to travel 108,000 miles by a single somersault to meet friends. Would the Metaverse users dream of being a butterfly or Monkey King which were all old prophecies of ‘virtual reality’.
Many predict that your digital existence will become more important than your physical life. In the Metaverse, your life is fascinating with all that you can enjoy. But on earth, you may be lonely and miserable. Virtual life may be joyful. A real life can be sad. Nevertheless, the more humans lose themselves in a non-existent world, the more Artificial Intelligence technology will control us in future. I do not want to live in the virtual world because it will not give me a nice haircut! Do you? Happiness boils down to simplicity.

Dumb and shameful until it’s not
Ryan Broderick at Garbage Day says Web 3.0 is here. It’s not “the blockchain-backed cyberlibertarian free-for-all, where internet access is predicated on using crypto wallets to buy and sell digital assets” or the metaverse. It’s AI.
Now, you might say, “Ryan, A.I. is completely overhyped. Generative-A.I. art tools can’t even figure out how many fingers people have. There are all kinds of legal and ethical problems around this technology. It’s exploitative. It’s wildly insecure. We don’t even fully understand what it will do to our brains, yet. And there is a new dumb company every day hawking worthless A.I. fixes to problems no one actually needs to solve.” Well, fun fact: That was true of Web 2.0 too! In 2013, I used an app called Foursquare to check-in to a dive bar in Greenpoint every weekend via the geotargeting on my phone so I could get free tater tots. Everything on the internet is dumb and shameful until it’s not.
Also: " … the internet is giant machine that turns harassment against women into advertising revenue."
And Mutekimaru, a Japanese YouTuber, “created a system that lets his fish play Pokémon.”
Well, last week, the fish were playing the newest Pokémon release Pokémon Scarlet. The problem is the game is very buggy and during the playthrough it glitched out and the game crashed, but the fish continued controlling the Nintendo Switch’s buttons. The fish opened up the Nintendo Store, bought a game, and, for a brief moment, flashed their owner’s credit card number on the screen. Whoops!

Tethereum T99 : An Emerging Contender Amidst the Web 3.0 Revolution Providing Platform for Hassle-free Token Swapping
Web 3.0 is a term coined by Tim O’Reilly, the founder and CEO of O’Reilly Media, to describe a potential next major wave in the evolution of the web. It is a successor to Web 2.0. Web 2.0 generally refers to a collection of technologies, principles and design patterns which facilitate the production and consumption of user-generated content.
Web 3.0 is a term currently being used to describe a collection of technologies, principles and design patterns which facilitate the production and consumption of distributed content, as well as the production and consumption of services oriented towards a decentralised system of services. The term has been used to describe both a new application layer on top of the existing web, as well as the new internet protocol suite of standards required to power such a layer. Web 3.0 offers people ability to turn their content into asset-class. This becomes possible because it enables the tokenization of things/assets/etc.
How Cryptocurrencies Work and How T99 Can Make a Difference?
Cryptocurrency is also an asset class which is currently attracting a number of investors and traders and that is why we see so many trading platforms emerging. In India alone, we saw two Unicorns in the Crypto space in the last month. This all indicates why we need more efficient platforms that can cater to this demand. T99/ Tethereum is one such platform where users can swap their tokens without any risk and hassle. Tethereum (T99) is a limited supply token that is mathematically guaranteed to beat Dogecoin less than in 180 days.
Understanding the Demand
Tethereum saw that it’s often tough for the cryptocurrency investors to move from one token to another. The ability to transfer tokens from one chain to another is a powerful move that makes Tethereum a stellar option for the crypto traders. Tethereum understood the need for a decentralized exchange which supports trade of large number of tokens and can handle huge volumes of transactions quickly. Tethereum(T99) is a platform which provides a decentralized, secure and fast trading environment for swapping and market making of cryptocurrencies. The platform offers a very diverse set of options to have a complete control over the trading process.
Why T99 is Special?
Tethereum (T99) is more than a token swap and also facilitates its users with an automated market maker that is built into the platform. To understand AMM or Automated Market Maker, we need to understand the term market making in context of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, Market making consists in providing liquidity on a defined cryptocurrency by submitting both bid and ask limit orders on a crypto exchange. Tethereum’s (T99) short term goal is to make itself as the token swap platform with the lowest fee and provide highest fee earnings to its liquidity providers.
TethereumSwap & Automated Market Maker
It's being carefully developed and designed for you.

Web 3.0 - The newest version of the Internet
Tumblr media
Whether you’re a tech geek or someone with no background in the technology world, the chances are high that in recent times you must have encountered the terms such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. All of these ‘’Buzzwords'’ are related to what we call the newest version of the internet: Web 3.0
People from all over the world have a varied take on this new technology, some believe that it is the future while others feel it’s just a fad.
If you’re a millennial, you probably remember the first version of the internet: Web 1.0. It was just a ‘read-only web’ as quoted by English computer scientist Tim Berner-Lee.
Later on, from the early 2000s till the present, people are using the Web 2.0 version of the internet, which has ‘read-write’ capabilities. The content became user responsive where users could contribute content and interact with other users. It was Web 2.0 which gave a massive rise to social media and content creation.
Now, as many people believe, comes Web 3.0: The newest version of the internet.
What is Web 3.0?
Tumblr media
In reference to the previous context, Web 3.0 is the version of the internet that doesn’t only interact with users' data and information, it also allows users to own a portion of the internet. It is the ‘read-write-own’ version. Ownership is orchestrated and regulated by tokens and cryptocurrencies.
Web 3.0 is designed in a decentralized manner which makes it highly secure in terms of data privacy. It is backed by a blockchain security system that keeps user information secure.
Advantages of Web 3.0 over 2.0
Web 2.0 indeed changed the lives of mankind forever. People had such a powerful tool, which was never even imaginable in the past. It gave users the power to interact with anyone sitting in a completely different part of the world. However, it does have some shortcomings and drawbacks.
Let’s take a look at how Web 3.0 solves the shortcomings of Web 2.0!Web 2.0Web 3.0‘Read-Write’ version of the internet - Information is taken away from the user.‘Read-Write-Own’ version of the internet - Allows users to own a part of the internet in the form of tokens and cryptocurrencies. Organization Focused - In this version, personal information and data of the user are stored in databases of big organizations to fuel their business. Individual-focused - Users get ownership of their data. Focuses on the trust of the users. Example: You are the owner of the content you publish on Web 3.0. Your content is your digital asset, and you must secure it. Centralized - Control is with an individual authority. They have complete access to user data. Decentralized - Web 3.0 is blockchain-backed which makes it decentralized. No single entity can have control over it, and all the intermediaries are eliminated. Very limited use of Artificial intelligence. Significantly powered by artificial intelligence for faster and more accurate results. Doesn’t offer much visually engaging experience (VR/AR) to the users. Developments in the metaverse, 3D-NFTs will fade away the boundaries between physical and virtual worlds. Users can have a more engaging web experience. Multiple profiles are needed for different platforms as it is centralized by different entities. Users only need to create one profile, which can be used for different platforms. We are in a world where users appreciate the privacy and security of their information. It is evident that Web 2.0 has certain flaws and drawbacks, which have been resolved by the new internet - Web 3.0.
Web 3.0 will revolutionize the internet experience by improving privacy and security with a more enhanced visually engaging web experience. It allows the users to have complete ownership of their data, which is possible because of blockchain technology.
We, at Seaflux, are Blockchain enthusiasts who are helping enterprises worldwide. Have a query or want to discuss Blockchain projects? Schedule a meeting with us here, we'll be happy to talk to you!

Note
while I'm all for really anyone ruining Elon Musk's life... I just... can't... with a sitting US Senator being like "someone on the internet made a fake account with my name! I'm calling the law!" like the level at which people act like twitter is important like it's "official statements dot org" where by law every public statement must be filled and if we don't have a check system the world will fall is just... you should have never been treating MySpace 3.0 this way in the first place
I mean, the issue is that it was a fake verified account, to be fair to Markey, the "gen z icon", and his point about disinformation and how Musk and Twitter intend to address it is a valid one.
