Hi! I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely adore your fics Angels in Outfields and Nothing Worth Having (Ever comes free). Reading them is like getting punched in the gut repittedly and then being thankful and asking for more. I mean that as a compliment.

I really love the way you write, the depth of the characters and the nuance with which you treat serious themes like abuse.

Hello!! Thank you so so so much. This ask is so incredibly sweet, especially because NWH is all but abandoned at this point. I didn’t even know anyone still knew that fic existed considering I have not updated it in well over a year at this point. 

I’ve always really enjoyed exploring the heavier dynamics. There’s life in angst. Beauty in it. For me, it makes the happy ending that much better. And for fics without happy endings, it makes it raw and real. Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes I do feel like I go a bit too in depth, but then people like you swing by and tell me you enjoy it and I realize it isn’t entirely self-indulgent lmao. 

I am very excited to get back into writing. I am in the middle of a huge move so up until today I didn’t even know where my laptop was. I plan to sit down and hammer out some more of AIO as early as tonight. There’s the final chapter and then the epilogue, which I am very happy with how they’re coming along! After that, I’m not sure what/if I’ll write for the IT fandom again. Only the time will tell.

1. She’s Demisexual and Biromantic.

2. I HC that her, Carver, and Bethany all got tattoos of a hawk after Malcolm’s passing to commemorate him.

3. When she was a child just coming into her magic, her fingers used to crackle with fire whenever she’d become exceptionally excited and/or angry about something. Malcolm had to work hard to teach her to control it because it was a dead giveaway.

4. Anders wasn’t her first, however, he was one of the first people she actively felt a sexual attraction for (she didn’t feel a sexual attraction for everyone she was intimate with, either).

5. Her relationship with Leandra is strained.

6. Claudia tends to try to solve problems by herself, even if it is out of her capabilities to do so. This often gets her in trouble.

7. The only person Claudia will sub for is Anders.

8. Claudia takes up roguish abilities to hide the fact that she’s a mage.

9. She used to get in trouble as a child for bringing stray animals home.

Is this official or is it a mod?

This is actually official dialogue in the game, if your Warden romanced Zevran and survived the encounter with the Archdemon - if your Warden didn’t survive, the romance is a bit different. However there is a bug in the game that keeps this dialogue from happening majority of the time and causes Zevran to flirt back with Hawke and proposition Hawke to hook up even if he was romanced by the Warden (or hookup with Isabela, if she’s in your party). It is possible to fix this bug, on a PC at least, with this mod here, which is what I used. I definitely recommend getting this mod if you play on a PC. ^^

Hey so about the heartbreak, when I broke up with my first ex the first days I didn't feel like I wanted to eat, but I did anyway. I also felt the nausea. I know you feel awful right now, but it'll go away and you'll be happy again. Try to keep distracted and spend time with friends. Focus not in what you lost or what could have been, but in taking care of yourself.

unfortunately the bit about spending time with friends I can’t do, because the two most important ones to me are the ones dating lmao

but I am trying to stay distracted for sure, and although I don’t see it at all right now I’m reminding myself I’ll move on from this eventually. Thank you for your help anyways, I appreciate it
