I'm so thankful people like Sherry Schuderer are kind enough to share their experiences at Cons! This performance of Purple Rain would have made Prince Proud! Through the magic of technology and Sherry's skills, I was able to find it 3+ years later!

Just a heads up. It does focus mostly on Jensen Ackles, which doesn't bother me. I'm sure there are other vids of this out there with everyone. You can hear the band and other singers pouring their hearts and souls into this amazing song! I cried when I saw Crowley with everyone, then when Jensen and Rob hugged. The song itself made me cry! It's a treasure beyond measure!

Speaking of Rob Benedict, he's the lead singer and his vocals were outstanding! The guitarist solo was outstanding as well. It ranks up there with when I saw Pat Benatar in concert and her husband did a guitar solo that lasted over 10 minutes while he trotted up and down the aisles! Unforgettable! And, that's what this is!

Now, for those of you who feel Jensen shouldn't have been Sherry's focus, show some respect or find another video! You're not the one paying for ticket to be there (from what I've learned extremely expensive). She is kind enough to share it with, among others, those of us who probably won't meet Mr. Incredible, aka Jensen Ackles, and see how his smile is like "looking at the sun" or just his actual presence makes you "melt into a puddle", from what @jensensgotyoudean says.

Lastly, if you don't know what the song is about, you most likely haven't seen Purple Rain. Prince starred in it and once you see it you will understand the song and why the cast of SPN and Louden Swain chose it to pay tribute to Prince!

I know my post is lengthy, but that's how I am. It's one of the ways I alleviate my obsession over Jensen and his voice and Dean! I'm sure not many people will read it anyway.
