OH MAN. My dash is curated like a well-funded museum so I am blissfully sheltered from nonsense. However, based on hearsay and in no particular order...

Literally anything about Mo Xuanyu. My primary frame of reference is CQL (a disclaimer I feel obliged to put on any meta posts, this one included!), which says next to nothing about MXY. I genuinely thought, based on what I'd seen in fandom, that Novel MXY was canonically a petite uwu soft goth boi who'd been part of the Jinlintai Demonic Cultivation Research Department until JGY falsely accused him of harassment and expelled him as part of his Evil Keikaku(TM). And like... that's all possible, and fully workable within the canon framework, but it's not indisputably textual. It's a shame, because I'd find all of these fanons compelling if they weren't repeated as fact!

Mean Lesbian Wen Qing. As with the above, this is fully workable within canon, and I fully sympathize with being a queer woman who wants to see other queer women in fiction. This is even hypocritical of me, perhaps, given how I am so deep in the weeds with the fanons of Lesbian Margaery Tyrell and Lesbian Johanna Mason (for the books, not the adaptations) that I genuinely forget that this isn't canon. But Johanna and Margaery both have meaningful (and quite charged imo!) on-page interactions with other women outside their families in their source material. Wen Qing doesn't, because this canon is deeply disinterested in what its female characters are up to. Lesbian Wen Qing feels less like desperately latching onto queer subtexts and more like a convenient way to remove her from the male characters and/or dunk on Jiang Cheng. If there were an abundance of Wen Qing femslash to accompany this fanon, I'd fell differently, but as it stands... nah, son.

Mean Hypermasculine Dom Nie Mingjue. Maybe it's different in the novel (though based on my understanding of Novel Da-Ge, why would you bother?), but in CQL? Where he feels his emotions up to 11 and cries about all of them? Where his memories of Meng Yao in Nightless City feature an assertive Meng Yao with flawless contouring, on-point eye makeup, and a level of manhandling and verbal degradation that is not at all present in the original version of this scene? The sensitive man with comically horny memories of being captured by his ex gets off on being a macho seme caricature? lololol okay.

Jin Guangyao and Nie Huaisang, Diabolical Murderous Supergeniuses. Canon is quite clear that neither of these men are the brilliant chessmasters fanon makes of them. Jin Guangyao plans meticulously, but he's far from ruthless; as others have pointed out, Jin Guangyao preserves a whole slew of people it would've been more practical to kill, with results that lead directly to his downfall. Nie Huaisang is ruthless, but he doesn't plan for shit; his strengths are his swift reaction time and his ability to hold a grudge, because it is straight-up not possible for Nie Huaisang to anticipate all of the events after the timeskip. They're both forces to be reckoned with, but they both get too much credit as schemers.

Wei Wuxian is basically A-Yuan's dad. This might not even count as a fanon, but 1.) I cannot STAND the tendency for fandoms to impose nuclear family roles onto character dynamics, and 2.) Wei Wuxian knew A-Yuan for like 1.5 years when A-Yuan was a toddler and wasn't even his primary caregiver. Do you think of your preschool or kindergarten teachers--who spent more time with you per day than Wei Wuxian spent with A-Yuan--as your long-lost parents? PROBABLY NOT.

She drummed her fingernails on the bench as the cute barista made her coffee.

She didn't have a name, but today the body she'd borrowed was called Chikako. She was a uniformed young lady with subtle makeup and a girlish pout. She was a civilian—a meter reader employed by a utility company by day, and a student by night—and about twenty years younger than the nameless ninja currently borrowing her form.

The real Chikako was across the other side of the city right now, occupied by her actual day job. The one getting her coffee just needed to borrow her student ID and face for a bit. And her credit card, obviously, as it was right there in her wallet next to her ID.

The coffee wasn't great, but she'd anticipated that and gotten three pumps of artificially flavoured syrup in it, which, combined with the milk, disguised a multitude of sins. Today Chikako was not here to stalk anyone or steal anything (although she'd probably steal something anyway. She was only human, after all!) but, rather embarrassingly, to sit in on a seminar introducing researchers to the whole system of competitive grants by which public research lived and died.

Chikako was pretty familiar with the actual research process. Sure, she'd never attended a university or even a regular school herself, but she'd been introduced to field research by way of the gruelling discipline of the shinobi intel machine. She'd been spying on people for fun and profit since she could walk. Her biggest hurdles hadn't been the field work, but rather the experimental design and treatment of her data.

What she really wanted to find out today was if it would be better to apply to one of these big old universities and do her field research through them. There were advantages, she knew: you never had to break into a print shop and create copies of your own publications, and you got invited to conferences rather than having to steal someone's identity and crash, and you got to actually present your own research to other people and talk about it! All of this was very exciting to her.

There were also downsides: people knew who you were, you had to talk to them all the time using the same face and anyone who got mad at you usually knew exactly where to find you. Less exciting. But potentially still workable... especially since there was no reason to expect she would enroll under her own identity.

She slipped soundlessly into the lecture hall. It seated a hundred but it was sparsely populated by ragged looking people, mostly in their mid to late twenties, each more sartorially challenged than the last. As Chikako, she felt she stood out almost uncomfortably simply for being unwrinkled, colour coordinated and awake. She sat down in one of the faded chairs and did not swing the battered wooden slab that was meant to serve as a desk out over her lap. Instead she clutched her sickly sweet coffee and waited for the professor to show up and let them know all about the exciting world of applying for a competitive grant.

This was really what would decide her, she figured. If it was easy money that could support her in fieldwork, she'd swap careers in an instant.

Chikako was well adjusted to the lifestyle, but being a missing-nin was hard, dangerous work. It meant never having a proper home base to stay at, taking dangerous jobs that paid worse than they did at a traditional ninja village, and just... living very precariously. She lived both worse and better than most: she ghosted into accommodation without anyone the wiser, lifted her petty cash from oblivious civilians, and when she did do real shinobi work, her skillset meant she was often doing glorified PI work, enabling blackmail, rooting out embezzling and preparing evidence for the scandals and divorces of the rich and famous.

But she also had to take time out from her research any time she wanted to make any honest money. And that had led her to thinking: didn't people get paid for research? Like, legitimately? And how did they do that?

So now she was here, listening to the ancient and hunched professor wearily explain that a competitive grant application was essentially an instrument of intellectual torture. He was currently halfway through detailing that, for example, you would need to know which conferences you needed to present at and what the travel costs would be three years in advance to prepare your budget for assessment, and then if you were one of the 18% of successful applicants, you would probably be given four fifths of the money you actually needed.

"...after a while you will learn how to tailor your application so your project can be effectively cut down without losing significant value. You can't inflate your costs though, because they won't approve it if you do that."

Someone raised a hand.

"Ah... you," the professor pointed one aged, shaking hand. "Yes."

"What if you, um, like, learn something new? And your project doesn't go how you expect? And the costs... well, you know, change?"

"Heh," said the old professor. "Heh heh heh. The grants committee is not set up to accommodate that. Any costs that exceed—"

"Sorry, forgive my interruption, sir, but the grants committee isn't set up go accommodate research leading to new information?"

"That's correct," he said serenely. "Any costs that exceed your predictions need to come out of central university funds. You will need to explain your needs to your departmental representative." He looked around at their faces. Chikako's was sceptical but she was hardly alone in that. "You get the knack for it eventually," he assured them.

Hmm. You know, she was nearly fifty, and had gotten the knack for many things in her time. But she didn't feel that getting the knack for this was going to be the solution to her problem.

She finished her coffee and draped a secondary genjutsu over herself so nobody would notice her getting up to leave. There was no point being rude to the poor old professor, after all.

Chikako's money was burning a hole in her pocket, so she strolled around the campus, inspecting this and that. It was almost like a little town all on its own, really. The students who could afford university had plenty of family money, even if it seemed like their careers paid shit all more generally, so there were stores and stalls and amenities aplenty, including what seemed to be several charitable organisations recruiting volunteers on campus.

She ghosted through it all, finding little of value to her personally, and fetched up at the library instead. There, she maxed out Chikako's library account by borrowing twelve books to read instead, all with titles like "Shinobi, Crime and the Black Economy," or "Labelling Perspective: The Meaning of 'Missing' Nin."

Once she was off campus, she let her illusions fall in an alley between two residential houses, turning from the twenty-something, dark eyed, dark haired, fresh-faced willowy little Chikako back into her actual, real, flesh and blood self: a flawlessly made up woman who might have been any age between thirty and forty five, with a missing-nin's forehead protector and a wild tumble of red curls.

She pulled the forehead protector off and shoved it in her pocket before she handed Chikako's "lost" wallet in at the nearest police station.

"It was just outside the university campus," she reported, leaning on the bench in the station. "I have no idea how long it's been there."

"Okay, thanks for your report, Miss... We'll make sure she gets it back."

"I'm so glad," she said earnestly. "I know I'd feel just awful if I lost my wallet."

"Well, you did the right thing. Have a good day, Miss."

That was her. Doer of right things. Always.

It was the off season for tourists, so after check-in hours had passed, she simply wandered through a luxury hotel and selected one of the unused honeymoon suites to break into. The bed was huge, with a feather-soft mattress and a multitude of pillows, but enormous bath was the real prize for her.

Fancy hotels like this had all sorts of sample products, and she did love bubbles. Naked and unselfconscious, she peered at herself in the mirror for a while, inspecting her face. It was a lovely face, framed perfectly by her pretty crimson curls. A little angular and aggressive for the tastes of the day, with her high cheekbones and sharp jaw. But beautiful, which was the important thing. If she had nothing else—and she usually had nothing else—she still had her looks.

As the bubble bath filled up, the mirror fogged over, until her face was an indistinct blur with a smear of hard candy red where her mouth was. She turned away from her reflection and slipped into the bath with a full body shiver at the water's blissful heat.

She had her pile of books to read, but with a deep sigh, she supposed it would be best to start thinking about how she was going to fund her next research project instead.

Not by way of the competitive grants process, obviously.

Credit card fraud was a short term solution, useful for buying little treats or paying for a night in the odd hotel when one really wanted room service; it wasn't a lifestyle. Hard currency—cash—was probably the optimal way to go. It was tricky to trace, accepted everywhere and couldn't be tied to anyone's identity if it was wisely spent.

She sighed deeply and dunked her head under the water. Tomorrow she'd just have to quietly rob a bank on her way out of town.

He knew her weak spots. Ladybug sighed. "Sure there won't be an akumas where we are, but what about Paris?"

Chat smiled up at her. "I have it all figured out. We can give the Bee miraculous to Chloé for the weekend." He held a hand up when she opened her mouth, quickly adding, "I really think Chloé is ready for this. She can take over patrolling for the one night that we're gone. If something goes wrong, she can distract the akuma until we get there. I already checked with Alya; the campsite is only two hours away from Paris. Transformed, you and I can make it back in like forty-five minutes. Queen Bee can totally take care of an akuma for forty-five minutes and you know it."

She closed her mouth, realizing that he had put a lot of thought into this. He really wanted this. More so than she had anticipated. Enough to have figured out what her objections would be and come up with workable solutions. Much as she hated to admit it, he was right about Chloé. Ladybug sighed and put her hands on her hips.

It’d taken him longer than he’d anticipated to make it back to their shared cabin after the pack run, somehow failing at navigating the campsite and making more than a few wrong turns along the way.

(He could have sworn the location of their cabin had been moved. Probably. Maybe.)

One step, two steps, stumbling a little on the steps as he makes his way up into their little loft, loose-limbed and smelling of the forest. He's a little moon drunk, a lightness in his chest that stems from the energy that’s running through him, an electric pulse under the skin, drawn out by the solstice.

It’s intoxicating, leaving him almost giddy, riding on the high - and there’s no one else he wants to spend this night together with than his mate.

But they aren’t here.

The loft room is empty, the sheets of their bed cool under his palm - and right, the party. The party after the party.

Stilling, he thinks he can hear the sounds of it, in the cabin across the way. Well, he’s cheating - the wolf is still in his veins, heightening his senses, and if he listens carefully enough, he can hear the murmur of voices, the human and empowered mates of the wolf pack.

With their scent in the air, on the back of his throat, his instincts are close to the surface, and he wants.

He makes to head back out again, before he catches his reflection in the floor-length mirror outside the bathroom - and stops. Well, shit.

At first glance, he’s fine. Sure, his hair is a little tangled, and he thinks there could be a twig or two in there... but then you look a little closer, and yeah, that's blood smeared on his cheek, from the hunt. All that’s left of the unfortunate rabbit that had crossed his path earlier - and he can still feel the weight of it between his teeth, the salty iron of its blood on his tongue...

Yeah, he needs a shower.

He’s in and out in five minutes, the night still singing in his veins. He shifts, just for the joy of it, shaking off the weight of the water and making one hell of a mess that he'll have to clean up later - but that’s tomorrow's problem.

Their room smells like them, the two of them, mingled together, impossible to separate one from the other, and it curls something deep within him, primal and hungry.

He misses them with an ache, and yeah.

Time to gatecrash a party.

Things are winding down by the time he gets over there, and he catches a glimpse of a familiar figure further down the path, nearing the woods where he’d left David earlier. Looks like his alpha’s night is only just starting... heh, and yeah, that’s something he's gonna remember for the next pack gossip session.

He nearly runs into Milo's mate at the door, catching himself just in time as they give him a long once over, a slow smiling curling up their lips before their bright eyes meet his gaze.

“Milo texted me. Your mate is just packing up.”

With a wave of their fingers, they’re gone - just blinked out of existence, and he huffs out a laugh, stepping aside before they can phase through him, before stepping over the threshold.

Babe is by the sound system, scrolling through an ipod that must be ten years old by now - and looks it, the metal scuffed and dented, but apparently still workable.

They don’t notice him immediately, their head bobbing in time with the music, and he lingers there for a moment, watching them. They’re dressed casually, loose shirt and sweats - and that’s his shirt, one of their favourites, soft and worn from use, the older shaw security logo stitched into the pocket.

They’ve upgraded the uniforms since then, the growth of the company pushing David to invest in a professional production deal, instead of hand stitching, but he’d been attached to the original design, and he’d managed to save a few in his size.

He’s happy to give them one - especially when they look so damn good in it.

They drop the ipod back onto the table, turning to pick up their jacket - a wide smile breaking across their features as they catch sight of him in the doorway.

“You’re back.”

“I am.” He grins, and he loves the way their smile grows to match it, until their eyes crease with it. Taking a step further into the room, he nudges a deflated balloon, glancing around at the mess of crepe paper and empty champagne bottles. “Looks like you had a lot of fun.”

Their eyes sparkle. “We did.”

They’re so close, but he’s still not holding them yet, and so he rectifies that, crossing the space quickly until he can wrap his arms around them, burying his face into their neck.

Fuck, they feel so good in his arms. They laugh, their arms winding around his waist, their heartbeat strong and steady against his lips as he presses them against their pulse. “I missed you, babe.”

They hum, trailing their fingers through his hair. “How was the run?”

“It was good. More than good.” He can still feel the rush of it, the scent of the forest in his lungs, the press of the earth under his paws. “This feels good, too.”

Close like this, he can sense every shift in their reactions - smell the salt on their skin, the faint reminder of their shampoo. Their free hand slips beneath the hem of his shirt, tracing along his sides, spreading heat wherever they touch, and Christ, if it doesn’t send a shiver running through him.

He presses another soft kiss against their throat, trailing up towards their jaw as their fingers tighten in his hair.

“Wanna get out of here?”

“Mmm… I have to finish cleaning up.” Their breath catches as he trails his mouth up to their ear, focusing on that sensitive spot that always makes them tremble.

His voice is barely more than a whisper. “That can wait, babe.”

They hum, and he can feel the thrum of it against his lips. “Most of it can.”

Slowly, they disentangle their fingers from his hair, the other sliding down to his hip, applying just enough pressure to ease him back. “It won’t take long.”

He leans in to steal another kiss, soft and sweet, before he pulls back with a reluctant sigh.

“Let me help.”

Together, they sort through the worst of the mess, storing the salvageable leftovers in the portable fridge before taking the rest to the dumpsters out back. It's time consuming, but it makes sense to sort out the food now - they've had enough curious creatures poking around the campsite already.

He keeps sneaking glances at them whenever he can. He can never get over how much he likes seeing them like this, easy and comfortable with his pack around them. They’re human; they weren’t born into this like he was, but they’d taken to it like water, another member of the family, and god, he’s so fucking lucky.

More than once they catch him staring, their grey eyes soft and creased with fond amusement, which he often chases with a kiss. He’s easily distracted, they remark after a while – which is understandable, he explains, when they’re so very distracting.

(“Distractingly hot,” he adds, for clarification, which earns him an eye roll and a soft, rolling laugh that warms him from the inside out.)

The music remains a constant backdrop, left on the same shuffle from earlier. It's a fun mix, fitting for an afterparty vibe, and he digs it. Especially when the song changes, transitioning from mellow pop to something faster, with a beat - something he can move too.

And then the lyrics start.

A full moon and I’m coming your way-

“Oh, I like this babe.”

They glance up at him, their expression an adorable mix of amusement and embarrassment - and he loves it when he gets them flustered like this, breaking through their calm exterior.

“It’s not mine,” They clarify, a flush rising on their cheeks as they lift the ipod in their grip until he can see the mix title - Angel’s mix. “Their taste is somewhat… eclectic.”

“I’m not kidding, this song slaps.” He grins at their exasperated expression. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that his taste overlaps with David's mate. They have excellent taste. It does give him an idea though…

Stepping forward, he takes their hand, tugging them gently closer. “Come on babe, dance with me.”

They give him a look that says - really? - even as they give him their hand, and god, he loves them for that. He loves them for many reasons, but the way they indulge him, allow him to be himself, without holding anything back…

He spins them, slow, until they’re pressed back against him, warm and close. His hands settle on their hips, keeping them close as the beat speeds up, and they feel so fucking good like this. The way they lean into him, trusting his strength, all softness and heat and that sweet, delicious pressure.

Tilting his head, he presses his mouth to that soft spot, just below their ear, pressing soft kisses, barely more than a feather touch, until he can feel the way they shiver. “So, you’ve been listening to werewolf tunes all night?”

He can see the flush where it has travelled lower on their skin, down their chest; feel the heat of them against him, and fuck, they have. He's gonna have to get a hold of this playlist.

“Maybe.”

He trails his mouth back down their throat, a smile curling his lips as he feels them shiver again, a hand reaching up, delicate fingers tangling in his hair, holding him close. Their touch sends shivers through him, all the way down his spine, and fuck.

He keeps his voice low, enjoying the effect it has on them. “Want to try some of the real thing?”

Their breath hitches before they're twisting in his arms until they can face him. Their eyes are bright, a flush rising high on their cheeks. “Don’t make promises you can't keep.”

Fuck, they’re gorgeous.

His hands slip under their thighs, lifting them easily until he can kiss them properly, and shit. He can never get enough of the taste of them.

“The cabin-”

“Yeah.” He carries them to the door, just about managing to maintain enough focus as they map out his throat with their lips and teeth. “The music, how do I-”

“I’ve got it.”

Just as they reach the ipod to turn off the music, the song draws to a close, and…

“Is that... howling?”

“Not my playlist.”

They’re a mess by the time they stumble back to their cabin, and he's convinced he’s bumped into every possible corner in the place when they make it to the bedroom, but it’s worth it. It’s worth it not to lose a moment of this, their hands on him roaming, their tongue in his mouth.

“I want you to let go with me,” they tell him, their grey eyes glittering in the moonlight that filters in through the shuttered windows. “Don’t hold back.”

“Fuck, babe.” He kisses them again, wet and filthy, as their hands sneak under his shirt, trimmed nails tracing down his chest and leaving trails of fire burning on his skin. “You’re not gonna get any sleep tonight, you realise that right?”

They laugh, soft and bright and mischievous, and fuck, he loves them.

“I’m counting on it.”

He loves them so goddamn much.

“Get ready, babe.”

(They’re still wearing his shirt when he brings them breakfast in the morning, the loose collar hanging low, revealing the marks from his mouth that trail down to their collarbone, and shit.

“You have no idea what you do to me, babe.”

By the gleam in their eye as they take the plate from him, setting it down on the side table, he thinks they might.

So, maybe they get sidetracked before breakfast. And after. And again, later, in the shower, on his knees with their fingers twisting in his hair, their moans in his ears…

It’s long past noon by the time they finally rejoin the rest of the pack, and he knows it's obvious what they’ve been doing from the way David’s nose wrinkles when they enter, and the flat stare he levels him after - but honestly? Hella fucking worth it.)

TeNi vs TiNe

Hi Charity! I guess it's for a reason Ni is considered the most "mysterious" function of them all, because I don't think I can understand it properly, haha. I wanted to ask how TeNi and TiNe users would go along solving the same problem. 

Here is where I am probably be wrong, so please, correct me! I see it as a TiNe user would consider different solutions, almost picking out from the possibilities around them, until they find a solution that satisfies their subjective view of the world (might be way too long-winded and unnecessary complex, but it works for them). Whereas, I think TeNi user would find the fastest, most efficient solution that is provable with outside facts and is "objectively" good (?). But... I am having troubles picturing what Ni does. I think I can vaguely imagine how it works with TeSi, where, along with objective facts, personal experiences, memories, learned skills come into play, where Te user refers not only to outside world, but to their "inner catalogue" as well. 

Somehow, I can't wrap my head around how exactly Ni works, because even reading the abstract descriptions of functions doesn't help. I understand that it's all about looking into the future and into the abstract but I can't see how it would manifest. Setting on a one idea and fiercely pursuing it? (Almost like a tunnel vision...?) But that's more about WHAT they do, not HOW they come to that conclusion. Do they have a certain insight, which they then prove to be real/make real with tangible facts and efforts?

An ENTJ would want to find a workable solution that will still be valid and efficient ten years from now. They think in terms of long-term potential and goals, so they want to implement something now that may come into full fruition much later on. They envision the pattern of what might happen in the future and anticipate it, and incorporate that into their solution. They are better at long term thinking than NTPs, because Ne is present ideas / immediate future, and Ni is distant future-based. Sometimes, ENTJs have a particular vision of what they want to accomplish, and have to wait for the technology to catch up to their idea -- like James Cameron having the idea for Avatar about fifteen years before he could film it, and in the meantime, investing in developing CGI so that EVENTUALLY he could carry out his vision. Pretty awesome, huh? (And now he has filmed three sequels simultaneously, after waiting a few years for, again, the computer technology to catch up to his ideas.) If you study him, you will get a sense of how an ENTJ gets things done and the process of doing so.

I don't think I ever had a close relationship with a high Ni-user, so I never had the chance to observe them and what goes through their mind when they do things. (Because even if you don't personally understand, if you observe, you can get a general gist of what's going on... but having no high-Ni users in me life makes me really clueless in that regard). Especially, how Ni works combined with Te. I am really eager to know, though. Thank you so much! I hope you have a great day. 

Get my book and read it, if you haven't already. I did all the hard work for you of talking to Ni users, finding out how their intuition works, and then integrating it with thinking and feeling functions, from an inward perspective. In essence, its' about taking an unusual vantage point, having a specific idea in your mind (no exceptions), and working toward that by making every decision about whether this will take you closer to what you want or not. NTJs think in terms of long-term strategies (if you put this shopping complex here, in ten years it's going to cause traffic backups on these four streets...).

Whumptober Day 9- Self-Inflicted

Sort of a scene from Roe and my RP. Chris freaks out a little bit when Wesker initially pulls him out of the ocean, attempting to take himself out to keep Wesker safe. Nothing happens because he and his gun are very waterlogged. Wesker calms him down and sedates him until he can get a workable stabilizer.

Development | Yellow Hat Origami Skull

In my search for materials, I initially wanted to create all my props from cardboard. However, cardboard was far too rigid and not very workable. Similarly, standard paper was way too thin. The solution came when I was cleaning my room and found a roll of craft paper that I'd bought a couple of years ago that I didn't really find a use for. Craft paper was much sturdier than normal paper, but it was still workable, so I decided to use this for my props.

I began first by cutting out a 1*1 square of craft paper of exactly 1 square foot in surface area. Then, I left this under a few sturdy books for a few hours to flatten out. The way I was going to fold this was similar to the Chinese Water Bomb fold, which converts a 2D fold into a 3D object at the end. Additionally, I found a YouTube video of someone creating a skull out of origami, which I found very helpful.

This was around the half way point, where the actual build had not begun yet. The purpose of this section was to create creases in order to make the more complex folds in the build much easier later. The first complex fold would come from creating seams such that a square base would form. This would then be folded inwards into a trapezoid shape.

I did the same thing to the other side as well. This marks the official starting point of the final build. The sturdiness of the paper was proving to be a downside as well, however as it was still workable, I pressed onwards.

Because of all the complex folds from earlier, this left several flaps on the trapezoid shape, from which I could create the face of the skull. This was the main deviation from a traditional water bomb fold.

Finally, after folding in the backside to match the front, I pulled on the top and bottom points of the paper and carefully unraveled it, which left me with the final skull shape. This was a lot of fun to do, and the final product was really satisfying, and much sturdier than I anticipated!
