Wool coats are literally the best inventions in the world. Standing in a cold, wet field for 3 days and I’m unbothered, I’m dry, I’m comfy. I live next to the sea and around this time of year the weather gets Wild. Besides the ocean spray, the mist from the river, there’s hale, pelting rain and chronic Dampness. But when I’m in my big Navy peacoat, I’m untouchable. Comfy, warm, it’s 20lbs, dries easily and the best invention ever

did machete like snug fitting clothing right away or did he have to get used to it? he reminds me very much of my small twiggy white bat-faced dog who, despite being cold All The Time, goes rigid when fully clothed and does his level best to scrape sweaters off on the furniture.

I think it's largely a personal preference, he just happens to like well tailored high coverage outfits. People with sensory issues often either gravitate towards loose clothing that constricts them as little as possible, or snug-fitting garments that provide a sensation of even pressure against their skin, and he's the latter kind.

Would alternates like things with a lot of heavy bone rattling vibrations like a tool concert?

It would depend on the frequency of the vibrations as each alternate is attuned a little differently to them. Some would find extreme frequency vibrations nice and soothing like Adam does, whereas others would be overstimulated by it and find it overwhelming like alt!Cesar would.

It pretty much comes down to the individual, but alternates like Adam (who can manipulate analogue and digital tech) are more likely to be able to adapt easier to more intense sounds and frequencies.

Additionally, when I say 'overwhelmed' for alternates, it means that they have a very difficult time keeping their form consistently together and usually end up either falling into their true form or something like shadow or static. It's a kind of defense mechanism, I suppose.

I tried Walmart and target but they only seem to carry their own brands now and they’re all #the same material and style and there’s no options #I thought about trying a more specialized store like a Kohl’s or idk something #but by the time I’m trying to think of where to buy new sheets I’m beyond overwhelmed and can’t even leave the house. much less #drive to a store and look for good sheets underneath fluorescent lights and loud music and the fucking Bible Belt Middle Aged Women staring #at my androgynous appearance like I’m Satan incarnate #ugh…..
