no seriously. the clone wars with dooku and palpatine and some other characters, the bad batch with cid, that guy whose “only loyalty is to investors” in ahsoka, etc etc. you can literally find it everywhere and it’s so upsetting. like does filoni not notice? does he literally not realize how much he does this? you’d think someone would’ve pointed it out and told him by now, but he just keeps doing it. and you have to ask, does he realize it’s even antisemitism at all? does he think that these characters need to look or act this way to “move along the plot” ?? is it necessary for these characters to be this way? or is it just automatic stereotypes he’s putting on them because he has nothing else to give to their characters.

at this point can someone just please tell this guy to stop. just stop fuckin doing that. stop doing things in general. we’re all kinda tired of it.

someone sent me the link to Dream’s shitty response to making sexual jokes about tommy and it’s… so gross

Like. Ugh. There’s a difference between joking about sex with someone and joking about someone sexually and placing the blame on the minor for initiating it for making their own sexual jokes not about themselves is literally victim blaming rhetoric. Like, that’s the same line of logic that leads to people thinking ““the child seduced me”” is an argument. The minor trusting you and being your friend is also not an argument. Teenagers don’t fucking realise cool older people being sexual with them is inappropriate. It means the onus is on you to stop when you are uncomfortable, because the minor TRUSTS YOU KNOW THAT. BECAUSE YOU’RE THE ADULT.

also, “it’s so long ago i don’t know the context” also is just like. fucked up. like, if you’re defending yourself and saying these aren’t inappropriate… why did you stop when he turned seventeen? it’d make sense if you realised it was not cool to make sexual jokes about minors, sure, but if you frame it as a completely fine thing and then like, admittedly stop doing it, that’s just fucking weird? like, these are the same sort of arguments you see used to justify some horrific shit. the same flawed logic runs through them. and it’s that it’s the CHILDS RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW WHEN AN ADULT IS DOING SOMETHING WRONG. and making sexual jokes ABOUT MINORS is wrong. like, if they were cum jokes that’d be way different but these were explicitly jokes About tommy, about him masturbating, about him being legal to have sex with, about something he KNEW would have been a fucking ship name because DNF IS A FUCKING THING. that is what’s inappropriate. you can’t joke about a real life sixteen year old doing that, as an adult. under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

like. ugh this is so gross. even just being jokes, you can’t do this with minors, especially not in front of an audience of minors. it’s so fucking gross and the fact dream can’t realise that and thinks “tommy made me uncomfortable by pointing out i’m a minor” or “tommy started it” or “well i haven’t done it since he was a minor so i can’t even remember the context” is a reasonable argument is enough that i think he shouldn’t ever be allowed to have a platform of minors, even if he wasn’t sexting with young fans.
