i wonder if the cast ever found Flayed Billy to be absolutely terrifying to act with. I'm rewatching ST out of boredom and i'm at battle of starcourt now and Dacre is terrifying as Flayed Billy.

Like Dacre is super charming and clearly an absolute sweetheart but Flayed Billy is honestly terrifying.

His strength, the predatorial way he reacts to things, that one scene where El tries to push him back in the mall and he just slams her head back against the wall then throws her against the other wall, the efficiency with which he takes them all down one by one, like they're nothing to him. They're completely defenseless against him and his strength.

Facing that kind of ferocity even acting has got to be at least a little intimidating.

The Flayer picked one hell of a host when it came to Billy, Will was clearly taken through necessity, Will was the only one who could walk between the worlds, he was the only one accessible at that time.

but given the choice of host... it knows how to pick em.

I will be eternally angry that the most efficient/most "optimized" RimWorld structure designs are either A) ugly as fuck. Or B) cluttered as fuck.

For reference, these are multiple bedrooms. Supposedly a more efficient use of total materials than literally any other design.

ac revelations is soooo beautiful visually like the set piece designs and the locations and the npcs are beautifullllll but in terms of gameplay it feels more like they skimped heavily on the level planning. like the most random placements of guards and the hookclaw thang seems like their way of compensating for the reduced verticality ... Like the fact that 80% of the time the fastest way over a wall it just free running up it, whereas in ac2 and brotherhood they were clearly more focused on the nuances of free running and had ways up and around obstacles that didn't just involve slamming ezio face first into a barrier until he ambles over it. Geriatrically.

I hate all of george Lucas' alterations of the original trilogy so much. The cgi and actors. This idea of "updating" the effects (looks weightless and barely like a modern video game, i know i have a trained eye but still, no shade to the vfx artists) and retroactively correcting casting that worked fine, and making these versions the mainly sold ones and easiest to access ? Kill him with fire and give me back my old vfx, commit to the casting, I should be able to easily buy a DVD of what the movie looked like when it came out in theaters actually

the beautiful thing about junho's and youngwoo's scenes turning into dance scenes whenever they take steps together is that it's not happening in grand moments that turn the show into a musical, it's just very light and yet so beautiful, it's so simple, they fall into a rhythm. it's saying that even the small things can turn into a dance once you have the right partner, yes even making it through a revolving door, yes even taking steps around a room as you look at the same point, dancing is steps and rhythm and these two just naturally match in both aspects

Hii<3 its good u specified not rebirth actually bc for rebirth i have no idea theyve made him so boring i cant think of anything that could be fun, but in a pre flashpoint future.. Im trying to think of something that would be thematically appropriate/something i can see tim coming up with but im so stumped bc both robin and red robin have been someone elses first and tim feels so tied to being a legacy guy, which isnt bad but. U know. I will take anything but robin at this point. Ive seen cardinal and rook around and i think you mentioned red heron once? Which are all great i enjoy them and i would love to see them. Britta and i also talked a lot about rosefinch but thats for a specific au... The thing is all these feel very random? I like them but i dont think tim would google a list of birds and just pick one he wants to be now (which is what i do. When trying to come up with a new tim identity) like i would like it to be something thats meaningful, like nightwing got offered to dick with a fitting story and robin is already a symbol, but i cant think of anything for tim rn.. It doesnt even have to be a bird tbf as much as i love a good bird. So im open to ideas i would love to hear what takes people have on this

Design wise i think ive been pretty loud about how much i love red robin in my ideal (and laziest) world i would simply keep that suit but thats not how it works.. I would definitely keep the cowl thats my one strong stance of the costume. Like aside from the fact that its sick in a freak way it is actually a good mask that conceals the face which. I know comics dont tend to care about but i do and i like it so<3 I also like this second design i think something like that could be fun it would never happen in rebirth but a girl can dream basically predictably enough my ideal costume would just be a modified red robin costume
