ive been working more on the trolls sons of the forest au, and I've decided that when JD found Rhonda, he got distracted and didn't notice the time, and, while it isn't uncommon for at least one of them to not come back for at least a day or two, he, however, was gone for a week, and when he got back to their camp, he found them in the middle of his own funeral, with Spurce giving the eulogy

First AU time! Highschool:

Tim shouldered his backpack and sighed, staring up at the building as he approached. A new school again, and he wondered how long he'd be at this one before his dad's job forced them to move once again. His dad always promised that he would let him graduate this time and he would settle, but something always came up.

"I got another call... Sorry, kiddo."

"Sorry, son, this time will be different, I promise."

"Sorry, Tim. They called again."

He loved his dad, but sometimes he wished he could just have a normal life. Stepping through the doors of the building and immediately, he's bombarded with the noises of hundreds of other kids talking and shuffling through the halls. He glanced down at the piece of paper in his hands, a list of his classes written on it, as well as where they were located and where his locker was.

With the practiced air of someone who's done this more times than they should have to, he began scanning the area and quickly understood how the lockers were laid out, finding his own quickly. Weaving through the crowd of kids, he slipped in next to his locker and opened it up, depositing the items he did not need for his first class and closing it.

The hallway was beginning to thin out as the clock on the wall read closer and closer to 8, so he quickly made his way to his first class. Standing in front of the door, he felt a strange nervousness come over him. Something he hadn't felt in a while since he did this so often. It was weird.

Taking a deep breath, he straightened his back and stepped through the door, scanning the room for a chair to sit at. He recalled that there was no assigned seating, so he made his way to an open seat next to another boy who was quietly doodling in his notebook. Tim looked ahead, pointedly ignoring everyone around him until the boy next to him let out a startled noise.

Looking over, he saw another boy holding something in his hand, keeping it away from him as he reached for it.

"Please give it back..."

"Why? Do you really need it to hear?"

Don't get involved, Tim. You know what happens when the new kid gets involved.

The bully and another one snickered. The quieter boy seemed to give him and slump in his chair, and the two boys moved away from him. The one still holding whatever the item was stopped in front of Tim's desk.

"You're new." It wasn't a question. Tim looked up at him and tried to keep his face neutral, guilt eating away at him.

"Yeah," he replied, not really wanting to interact with what seemed like a rather vicious bully.

"The names Andy."

"Tim." He replied more curtly than he intended to.

Andy narrowed his eyes ever so slightly, but he stepped away, finding his seat on the other side of the room. Tim looked down and saw that he had left a small device sitting on his desk. It looked like a hearing aid. He picked it up and looked over at the other boy still hunched in his chair.

Tim looked around the room before looking back at the other boy. He tapped his shoulder and the boy jolted, looking at him with a bit of fear in his eyes.

"S-sorry... didn't mean to startle you. Um, is this yours?" He held out the device to him, and his eyes widened.

He took the device and sheepishly put it back in his ear. "Thank you..."

Tim went out on a ledge and signed. 'You're welcome'

The kid's eyes widened and signed back. 'You know sign language?'

Tim nodded, a smile on his lips. "My name is Tim. What's yours?"

"Robby." He replied with little more than a whisper.

Well, so much for not getting involved.

Welcome to Forest Bird! It's a pleasure to see a new head in this forest! I hope you will like it here! I'll explain the Au to you! By clicking here you can already discover part of your arrival here! But let's move on! I'm going to explain this world to you!

The howdy refuge or commonly called Forest Bird is a forest and a refuge for local birds! Howdy Poppy and Frank work together in howdy's refuge their goal? To protect care feed and have information about birds! And you? You are the new employee! You received a letter from Howdy and appeared in this forest without any explanation by losing consciousness, when you wake up you seem to have a small loss of memory but also you find yourself face to face with a certain Wally characters. Wally is a puppet that seems to be shy in appearance he does not have human arms but wings, but wings as hands Wally was not the only one because other people you see from the corner of the eye seemed to have wings as hands, (your goal here is to understand why you arrived here, how why wally to bring you back to his nest and find howdy's refuge and maybe return home but for that you will have to win the trust of each character that You were discovering on the way)

you can start chatting with wally or asking questions but be careful he is shy and wary of strangers you can meet other characters as you go

About my AHIT AU and fanfic:

Both my fanfic, Sins of the Fathers, and my main AU which it is based off, 'Specters and Space Aliens', are set in the same exact universe, and follow the same idea: Prince Charles is tricked by Moonjumper into eating souls, getting corrupted into Snatcher, Hat Kid is sent to him as a baby, and Snatcher ends up adopting the kid despite himself, giving up his soul-stealing ways and overcoming his corruption as he raises Hatty. And Hatty herself gets to grow up in Subcon Forest with a family of ghosts :P

And in both, the Subcon Family eventually goes up against Moonjumper, and I won't explain more than that because spoilers for SotF :P

There are, however, tiny differences between what happens in the fanfic and the AU I RP.

For one, I decided to omit my fan OC Misty from SotF, because honestly, I pretty much only created her to toy around with the idea of my Snatcher having at least one biological kid (even if in this case said 'biological' kid was created with magic).

Also, without giving too much away, right now I plan for SotF to end with a couple other people joining the Subcon Family.

Nonetheless, most RPs I do in the main Specters and Space Aliens verse are set after the events of the fanfic, with the Subcon family having already faced Moonjumper, and, for the most part, having gone back to living peacefully in their spooky forest home, with Hatty now going to a school in town and sometimes being taught about her original world and people by Tim, and Snatcher getting some much-needed therapy.
