SLUGS: THE MOVIE aka SLUGS, MUERTE VISCOSA

A town gets terrorized and murderized by, you guessed it, killer slugs. Why not just use some salt on them? Good question, especially since a character suggests it halfway through and the lead says it's a great idea and nobody ever follows up on it. Of all God's creatures I think slugs are definitely in the bottom percent of scary ones. In college I walked in my door and thought my cat had laid a huge dook on my stove, but it was just an enormous slug that had somehow crawled across the whole kitchen and up onto the range. I guess they're crafty for little slime-os with no real brain?

GRADE: C-

STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - "In The Hands of the Prophets"

Keiko is just having a good time teaching her little school of a dozen kids whenever a Bajoran priest named "Kai Winn" shows up to shut everything down because Keiko is teaching science instead of creationism. Hey how come the whole dang planet of Bajor just has one religion? Come to think of it, every planet met in Star Trek seems to have a real homogenous culture. That's weird!

GRADE: C+
