So lesson 40’s here and season 2’s over huh? Let’s complain about it together

I’m simultaneously dissatisfied and satisfied with S2’s ending. I have negative feelings about the hard mode 40-8 in particular.

I feel like if this is actually the original timeline were back in, the brothers should have had a bigger reaction to MC’s return cuz like didn’t Solomon say that we just up and disappeared at the start of season 1 and the bros were a complete mess?

Makes me feel like something’s up- like the brothers’ perception of time has been altered or messed with in some way.

Initially I thought that Lucifer had seen the way his brothers and himself were suffering and wrought with worry for MC being missing so he asked Barbatos to cast a spell on them to kind of ease that by not making it seem so long that MC’s been gone and make it feel more like only a few days to months (or hell maybe he could’ve learnt to do it himself- this is Lucifer we’re talking about here) but now I’m not so sure and maybe we didn’t actually end up in the correct timeline. Or maybe this is all just nightbringer’s influence (cuz remember they’re all about leading others to happiness or something along those lines)

Either way I’m generally not a fan of it- I wanted that big sappy reunion with over the top dramatics with my favorite demons, damnit! I’ve been robbed!

Also where the fuck did Solomon go? he went through the rift in space time with us so shouldn’t there have at least been a small interaction with him when we arrived at the HOL even if it was along the lines of “oh good we’ve made it back in one piece, I’ll let you go inside and have some time to catch up with the brothers on your own. I’m gonna go debrief with Barbatos” or something?

And then there’s Nightbringer- or more specifically, their lack of presence within Season 2. When was the last time they’d even been mentioned in the story(lesson 21? 22? Were they ever mentioned at all after that?)

I know obvious answer is that Nightbringer=Barbatos (is it just me or was Barbs acting kinda… weird? Throughout the lesson??? He had me feeling like ‘this mf knows we time traveled don’t he?’) but anyway it feels like, for a character the game is literally named for, they’re not very important and front ‘n center…

Maybe S3 will be more focused on Nightbringer and whatever the hell’s going on with that weird ass reception from the brothers we got but for now we’ll just have to wait (I wouldn’t be surprised if solmare made us wait until April when the game hits its one year anniversary for S3 just like it played out in the OG game…)

Also also if the devs don’t hurry up and make 13, mephisto, and raphael dateable in S3 I’m going to riot. Lemme give my pretty wife kisses and take her on cute dates and shit. It’s been like 2 or 3 seasons since she was introduced! Whats the hold up?

My thoughts aren’t coherent anymore so I’ll stop but see y’all in April for Season 3

hey <3 i know the chat news is saddening and as a fellow enthusiast of the new trio I've been going through all five stages of grief about it myself but as a little pick me up let's try to remind ourselves of these 💖 not sure how much devs are to be trusted atp (not at all) but i would like to think it's worth something.. even though they're taking forever with it :') (also all three new characters call you on your bday in nb so that's a tiny w for us too)

I know about the calls but I don't want to spoil myself lol (My Birthday Is in nov. RIP I guess) the fact that Raphael Is the first to call? Very cute, actually.

I remember they kinda promised us a song project with them (maybe not individual songs but still) so I'm looking foward to that, but the devs make It really Hard to be positive lol (unless you stan the popular characters lmao) I really like what they have show us in NB, but wish they would do more with them...

The worst thing to me Is that Thirteen chats in the OG are very cute? You go on "dates" with her and everything (They're open enough to be seen as either platonic or romantic, so you can "date" her in anything but name) Raphael ones are a little more "dry" but if you squint enough, you can see that the intention Is there lol. Maybe that's why I'm sad? Because the only ones in NB who are *explicitly* romantic are the brothers and Solomon, leaving the other characters with almost nothing, and now stoping giving the trio "romantic" content for an indefinite amount of time. Well that sucks :///

I think the only thing making me sane Is Thirteen promising to "protect your soul 💞" in NB, I criticize Solmare for a lot of things, but the only thing I give them Is that they stood with her, (despite the "drama" of her announcement) seeing her taking an important role in the story (With Solomon no less, the star of NB lmao) really makes me hopeful they make her dateable in NB S2, but I'm still wary of the devs :'))

Take a shot every time these two hit on each other. As if to save me from having to do Henrik’s route, Solmare have suddenly dropped Rami’s route and I played a good chunk of the first two chapters today. Instead of doing my usual daily posts, I’m going to dump everything into one post today, since otherwise it’d take ages. Sorry for the long post, folks.

They start the common route by doing something I’ve been expecting them to do for a while - putting off Julia going to work. While I personally don’t mind the stories about her job (mostly cuz I get to see Timo), there’s only so many ways you can retell this setup, so I wouldn’t be surprised if more routes postpone it somehow in future. There is a scene where she briefly goes in to talk to Moses, but Timo and Paul don’t appear at all that I’ve seen.

Instead of starting to work, Julia’s going on a cruise and some of the cast have turned up to see her off. I can’t stop laughing at the thought that this could be someone’s first Love Tangle route and the only introduction they’ll get to Lex and Silvan are “Don’t set fire to your cabin” and “tap water is bad”. :’) They also make a point of saying “some” of the cast are joining Julia on the cruise. But by that they mean almost bloody everyone. Here’s who I’ve spotted so far:

...There are very few people missing from this line up. 32 dateable characters is A LOT lol.

Anyway, Cornelius wants Julia to be the ship’s vet, because that’s apparently a thing that he needs. So he takes her down to this... place, that’s where all the animals are being taken care of on this ship. Because “veterinary clinic on a ship” is TOTALLY the first thing this background makes me think of lmao.

These two have more chemistry with each other than they do with Julia.

Even Julia seems to think so.

Can we just skip to their Taste of New Love route already? Let them date each other instead of the MC. Solmare, I will give you money.

ANYWAY, this post has gone on way too long, so I’ll wrap it up here. So far no sign of the new upcoming love interests, but I’m sure I’ll post about them when they happen, unless someone else finds them first, in which case I’ll just reblog their post.
