And now, let me finally introduce you my fanverse AU based on Alphatale, jdyj!alphatale! It's not canon to the original story, pay attention! You can follow only if you are interested in this fanverse!

Original Alphatale by Shadikal15 & @nytethelad

• William Peterson, aka "Bluetooth" - the youngest son in the Gaster family. He loves computers and is a reliable technician. He hates being called Sans. The character is impudent, confident, but lazy (becomes an introvert over time). Was in a relationship with Chara.

Requiem: Error404

• Adam Peterson, aka "Alpha" - William's older twin brother. He was created in the form and likeness of Sans. Unlike the younger one, he is immersed in workaholism and cannot live without a cup of coffee. The character is soft, whiny, trusting. A believer, which is why he does not accept the marriage between monsters and people as the normal thing.

Requiem: Mirage

• Jacob Riverperson, nicknamed "Great Martyr" - Mother's guinea pig suffering because of his contagious requiem. He was exiled to quarantine with increased conditions of detention, but was able to get out. The character is vindictive, manic. IT WANTS TO EAT.

Requiem: Infected

• Ares Riverperson, nicknamed "Sage" - one of the first sons in the Gaster family, older than the other three. During this time, he learned to control his requiem and was able to save himself from further experiments of the Mother. He knows about all her intentions and tries to remotely help the brothers avoid a difficult fate. The character is restrained, strict, prudent. Don't take your eyes off his third eye.

Requiem: Omnipotent

• Wendy Ding Gaster, she is the Astral Mother. The main antagonist of the story and the reincarnation of the Void formed by Her marriage to W.D. Gaster. For the sake of experiments on the creation of ideal requiems, she is ready for anything, even if it concerns international politics. The character is cunning, playful, cold. She was married to members of the Dukedom of the Riverperson and Peterson families, and is now a widow.

Notes:

• In this version, Infected and Omni are Gasters, not Sans like in the canon.

• Everyone in the Gaster family is a sapphire skeleton, so in order to avoid hunting them, a disguise in the form of ordinary skeletons was created. Because of this material, their bodies without the power of the void are very fragile.

• Infected - the most dangerous of the brothers, while Ares - the strongest.

• The evolution of the powers of requiems is not infinite and has the properties of changeability, which is why there are significant restrictions on the powers in comparison with the original.

• No one, except Mother and Ares, knows about the existence of the first son - Samson. [Information deleted]

What is the relationship between frisk and the alphabros here

Alongside Infected relationship with William

Frisk and Chara are actually related here. They were brought together to Astral Mother to expand the knowledge of different Requiems and also to make William and Adam to feel stronger emotions getting closer to humans. However, Frisk and Adam are very aware of that Will and Chara have a sense that seems completely wrong. And it's love between two different races, which, in their social-religious opinion, is illegal. However, Frisk doesn't know much about other brothers, as he always spends time with Sanses and his sister Chara.

William knows not so much about all torments Jacob feels from the beginning of his childhood, but still he can feel that pain Jacob has, and this is a reason William became to hate Mother much more than before.

What was the inspiration ot idea behind turning Jacob and Ares into gasters and not sanses like in both N!Alphatale and Alphatale

Also some trivia about them like hobbies or quirks would be great

Ares and Jacob became Gasters for... like, many reasons.

1. The main reason. It's just boring and already annoying to see, you know, almost EVERY character turning them into Sanses. Just why? Aren't there more skeleton characters, just like Papyrus and Gaster? I don't understand it, tbh.

2. Also important reason. You see, I wanted Ares and Jacob to look a way taller and skinny than other brothers (still Jacob's head looks wide xd). And also I wanted every character to look completely different. Could it be possible with the fact they were Sanses? I don't think so. And so, the difference between brothers in every detail is what makes them more... Unusual. And it's curious.

3. It was inspired by Dreamtale. I thought it would be great if there are still 2 Sans-like characters as tweens, no more. And so that's why I was thinking of others as not-Sanses.

Why they're Gasters and not Papyruses? Well, actually, we have one... Delios. However, his role and character in this verse is kinda different from the original ones.

I saw in the poster that JDJY!404 had strings which was unusual choice

But what are those strings for

There are only two functions the strings have.

1. They change matter → they change space and time

2. They change energy → they can transform magic, characteristics, etc.

William doesn't create/destroy smth, he makes transmutations of objects.

They can replace some atoms in air that will make a part of the sky look green instead of blue. Just an example.

What are the main differences between your 404 and classic 404

How would you describe JDJY!404 in a single sentence

The main difference is — mine is, like other sleleton characters, not the actual Sans. It's a gem skeleton made of blue sapphire, just like his mom is made of the pink one.

What's also important is that he is not the AU destroyer. Unlike classic Error, his forces are based on changing space-time using the strings.

But that's, I think, is all the difference. He's still an introvert and a very traumatized lonely boy🤧 Actually Osiris has much more differences.

KM won't be in this fanverse, just as there won't be local AU versions of Sanses in Classic Alphatale, like Tint, Hollow Ink and Righteous Error. There's just no need in them, and the reason is — I'd rather make the story more dramatic and less global than make some OP omnidimensional beings.

What are requiems??

Requiems are mental reflections of your mind and emotions. It's not connected with the soul, it's connected with YOU as the spirit. To be created, their hosts need to interact with Void substance. The more you gain void and the stronger emotions and motives you make, the stronger is requiem, but in the same time the harder to control it.

Examples:

• The Requiem of William is Osiris

• Adam → Mirage

• Jacob → Infected

• Ares → Omni

Etc.

However, Requiems can be not only entities, but also some conception. It is harder to understand because their wishes are not so clear. For example, requiem of Gaster is the embodiment of absolute knowledge and watching for everything. And so, fallen into the Core and contacted with the void, he became one with it, and so there is no new entity like others have.
