Sharing some work-in-progress pics because it’s taking me FOREVER to finish this house! I’m so slow; it’s like I forgot how to build and decorate. And this is a relatively simple house! Haha. Anyway, it’s all built and decorated - I just need to do the landscaping and a little more playtesting. Since I want to go full steam ahead with this megasave, I’ll likely just post houses on the Gallery as I finish them and not do a fancy upload post here on Tumblr. However I am always happy to upload Tray files for those who want them.
BTW, this type of house is called a “Charleston single house” and is a common style found in Charleston, South Carolina. I plan on building a similar one next door, since they’re often found grouped closely together. On the smaller lot to the left, I’ll build a “Charleston cottage” which will likely be a starter. Despite my slowness, I’m having fun, and I’m very determined to keep going on this project!
Thank you so much to everyone who has left words of support and encouragement! I hope you’ll find at least some of my builds useful!

Dear Anon who asked me about the Winden Cove house! Guess what?!? I was working on a CC-free version of this in 2019 (for my megasave), and it’s 80% done!!! I would just need to furnish the upstairs and finish up the landscaping. I changed some things from the CC-version - I expanded the living room because I thought it was too small, and I redid the layouts a little bit on both floors. It’s decorated in a brighter, beachy-ish style.
Tonight when I was taking a look at it I remembered that we now have ladders in the game, so I put ladders on the 2nd floor leading to the 3rd floor, and then a ladder from there to the widow’s walk at the very top of the house. It has a really nice view!
Anyway, since I can use this for my megasave, I would be happy to finish this up for you. I don’t have a family in mind for this so I will probably just make the bedrooms kind of generic (maybe a toddler room, kids room, teen room, etc.). Does that sound good to you?

Hi all! It’s been awhile. Hope you’re all doing well and keeping your spirits up!
When I asked for some build inspiration/requests about a month ago, I received a bunch of wonderful ideas from you, both in my comments and my messages. Thank you so much for those requests! I really appreciate the kind words that you shared, too.
I was immediately inspired and started building one of the requests, but then I ran into some things I couldn’t do the way I wanted to, and I got frustrated. I gave up on that and moved to the next request. That one I got a little farther on (almost finished the full shell), but I wasn’t too happy with the proportions of the house. Sigh. I ended up not finishing it. For the next request I only got to the “searching for inspiration pics” phase before I ran out of steam and went off to do something else entirely. I didn’t even open my game for the next few weeks after that. I know I gave up way too easily for these. For that, I apologize. I really wanted to finish at least one request.
A few days ago, I felt the urge to get back to working on my megasave. I know there are so many wonderful save files out there now, but I remember how fun it was to work on Maristella and how satisfying it was to actually finish it. I’m going to work on one world at a time, starting with Willow Creek, which I was already in the process of re-doing (since I wasn’t happy with Blythe Harbor, my original re-do of WC). You can see how far I got last year in the pic above: I completed the Sylvie Street neighborhood, and I worked on updating Acadia Creek Park. I also started building a modern/renovated museum/art center (this was also last year) but I’m not sure if I’ll keep it in WC or not.
This re-do of WC is titled “Cape LaSalle” to differentiate it from Willow Creek and Blythe Harbor. It will be based on various cities in the southern U.S., such as New Orleans, Savannah, and Charleston.
As for your requests, I’ve collected them all into a file and will refer to them as I work on this project (and as I progress to other worlds) to see if I can work them into this megasave.
Thank you again! I’ll post more soon. :)

Hello. I hope this finds you well. Do you have a map layout for your Brindleton Bay builds and families? I'd like to add them to my game, however not sure where to place the lots. I have your other save and manually added your updated Maristella (Oasis Springs) builds and families to it. Would love to do the same for BB. Thanks.
Hi Anon! I'm doing well, thank you! :) Unfortunately I don't have a map or layout plan for Brindleton Bay yet! I've only placed a few lots and I'm not sure how I'm going to do the rest of it. I've been very slow lately in building lots due to lack of inspiration. Also with BB especially I've created multiple builds for certain lots, and I have a hard time deciding which lot should go in the final save. Haha. But I guess I could just pick one and then list the others as good alternatives for people to place on their own. I'll see if I can work on a BB map this week!

By request, I’ve uploaded my updated Harbor Health Club to the Gallery. I’ve made a few decorative adjustments and added the Rock-climbing Wall from the Fitness Stuff Pack. I also moved it to Brindleton Bay; it fits very nicely in the lot called “Tail’s End”.
You can find it in the Gallery under my Origin ID silrosse or by hashtag jenba. Let me know if anything doesn’t look right!
More pictures can be found in my Harbor Health Club tag.

Working on the mega-save...I don’t know if I’ll exactly go world by world, but my first focus will likely be Brindleton Bay, since it’s the most complete. Since I’m re-doing Blythe Harbor/Willow Creek eventually, I’ve moved the Harbor Health Club from WC to BB - I have it here in my own gameplay save and it just fits so nicely.
I’ve updated/edited it a bit, adding the rock-climbing wall and a glass roof over the indoor pool, as well as re-doing some landscaping/decorating. If any of you use the original lot and have any issues with it, now is the time to let me know so I can maybe fix them. :)

hi Jenba! I wanted to ask you if you ever plan to update your all save file? I absolutely loved it but it's not playable anymore, not even on new save. Your buildings feel so much like home, it's not the same anymore. Best wishes :^)
Hi Anon! Oh no, is that my Maristella Plus save? I didn't realize it wasn't playable anymore. Too many patches since I uploaded it, I guess? I was working on a megasave, but I haven't been very inspired lately, so I'm not sure when/if I'll ever get an update finished. :( However, all of my builds from my saves are in the Gallery, so you could still use the ones you like in your own save!
