Welcome one and all to the Night Vale Obscure Ship Tournament! This is to determine once and for all what is the best obscure Night Vale ship. This tournament brings together canon pairings from the supplementary media (like the books), fandom crack ships, rarepairs, and could-have-beens. Some of these ships have large fanbases on Tumblr, but are more lacking on other platforms. Some of these ships will genuinely make you question who in the world is interested in that. And all of these ships are up for your vote, starting tomorrow!

Some other doodles from yesterday (and aside from the Kevin one, this is about the quality/style you can expect from a doodles for tips commission in ko fi 🙂)

they were once thought to be mutualistic in their symbiotic relationships but it’s come to the point where they’re leaning more on the parasitic side of things (cough omg kasper and his original trustworthiness vs everyone realizing his schemes….)

they drink blood from larger animals or from ticks !! they were originally considered mutualistic because they’re prone to picking ticks off of animals which is helpful right!!!!! well….. they’re ALSO prone to picking at the open wounds of these same animals and even making new wounds soooo

Every god in Welcome to Night Vale is malevolent in some way or another (even accidentally, in Huntokar's case), but the Smiling God is truly the worst of them. His followers can never be free, Kasper Rhodes had his brain put into a robot body unable to smile, and as he finally felt peaceful, "the smile" appeared before him. And I don't even have to mention Triptych, one of the saddest episodes in the entire podcast, showing how truly sorrowful Kevin's life was, is, and will be.

Not who you like better, who would win in a fight. Its a fistfight to be clear, and Kromer's still in her first form with no members of Nail and Hammer to aide her. Kasper ideally doesn't have any upgrades because that seems kind of unfair to have a lady who hates prosthetics fight a guy who made himself a workbot for funsies, but its whatever. Feel free to look up the characters if you need to this will be open for a week
