The Phoenix Protocol Shawl, or as my one fireteam member dubbed it, the Phoenix Proto-Shawl lol.

My beloved raiding fireteam in Destiny 2 completed our first week one raid with Root of Nightmares earlier this year, and we all got team jackets for it; when I saw this yarn that looks exactly like the shader my Guardian usually sports when donning the Phoenix Protocol, I knew I had to make a thematically appropriate accessory to go with it 💗✨

Pattern is Simurg by Olga Sukhovalova.

This is the most intensive creation I think I have ever made; it was my first time with complex lace charts (first time mirror charting!) AND first time with a crochet bind off, and I am very very VERY pleased with how it turned out. Part of the reason it took so long to make was because I was intimidated by all these elements, but the end result is completely worth it, if I do say so myself!

Pattern is Letti by Orlane Sucche made with Cascade Superwash 128 in colorway Tempest. It was a super quick knit (made it in the week following Christmas and bound off a few days into the new year), and SO cozy warm.

You may notice the project numbering goes a bit out of order; this was finished back in January, but the weather is only just now warm enough to venture out without Layers for photo ops! (The most impt part of the process lol)
