it's exactly the right amounts of funny, devastating and romantic! lots of theerapanyakul cousins' feels and the-water-nixie's kimchay is adorable and sweet and aaaah they make my heart melt. this fic is what i wanted from season 2!

2. Something That I Should've Never Thought (of You) by disast3rtransp0rt

it's a twilight au!!! absolutely hilarious but also oh my god i did not expect to become so invested in it or so attached??? started reading this for my 12 year old self obsessed with twilight and... viva-yas-vegas got to me.

3. Idolistic by ditchlilly

i've fallen behind on the updates because i haven't had the time to catch up lately but!!! it's so so good. the way ditch-lily characterises kim is just. incredible. he's awkward, he's a loser and he is so so endearing. and i love love love fan!Chay so this hits all the right spots for me!!

4. A Guide to Living a Mafia-Adjacent Life by puckbaes

a friend sent me this fic and said that i need to read it just after it was finished, and!!! oh my god!! i fell in love. it's a slow burn of kimchay getting back together, and it has grovelling kim which is one of my favourite things in kimchay fics!

and for the last (but not least) one, i will admit that i'm very biased because this is a fic that was gifted to me by the wonderful viva-yas-vegas!

5. A Silver Sky, A Golden Night by disast3rtransp0rt

fae au!! bird!Kim!! i am still very much screaming about it! on the floor!! it only has one chapter so far but it is an immediate favourite. Kim is so very whipped in this one. he has had Chay for five seconds and he is already planning marriage. thank you so much to bestie for writing this <3
