2022: Reflection # 1

Bago matapos ang taong ito, gusto kong magpasalamat sa Ama dahil sa biglaang crossing of paths namin ni Sir jomi ngayong taon haha. Pinakilala sakin ng 2022 si Sir Jomi haha. Ito lang talaga ang favorite plot ko ngayong taon. CHar.

Na-floodlike ko yung GC namin. Hindi ako aware. Nasa gawain ako noon. Hindi ko pa masyadong kilala non si sir. Hahaha. I wonder why, sa lahat pa ng GC na meron ako, yun pa yung nawrong send-an.

Nagchat ako about sa Biochemical pathway. Nagreply naman si sir. Hehehe.

Inadd friend ko si sir sa fb before magclose ang second sem kasi kako baka wala ng connection ulit after non kasi hindi na namin siya magiging prof HAHA, after to nung nagmessage ako. HAHA. Kinonfirm aq huhu.

Nagpost ako Oct. 17, sa myday. Nagheart si Sir. I wonder why?

Nagpost ako, one week before midterms, sa myday. Sa gulat ko. Nagreply siya. Kung pwede raw makahingi ng link sa panata.

Nakita ko siya in-person: 1) Prelims - Siya yung nagproctor, 2) Sa may 7/11 - nakakahiya ayoko na tuloy ikwento, basta, 3) Midterms - nagkatinginan kami nitong araw na to sa may bintana, hindi ko alam kung kilala na niya ako in person pero basta huhu, pumasok pa siya sa room namin 4) Nakasalubong namin sa hallway ng CAS - Nagkatinginan ata ulit kami hahaha, siyempre iassume natin, eksena natin yan e, 5) Sa may tapat ng CAS building, naghihintay kami kay maam malu, nakapayong siya, pupunta ng 7/11, bumili ng umagahan, nakadark blue siya na polo, ang pogi huhu. Hindi naman ako tumingin siyempre, kunyari wala lang. Pero tawang-tawa sina Pam sksksksks. Waiting sa no. 7... char.

Masaya na ko dito Lord. Haha. I appreciate small gestures. Hahaha. Assuming ako e. Pero okay lang naman kahit inspiration lang. Salamat po sa happy hormones na dulot mo Sir haha. Sana masaya ka rin po. Goodluck sa iyong journey sa academe. Labyu! HAHA.

Life.

Being able to breathe, being able to laugh and cry, being able to enjoy the little things.

What defines life?

Is it through stolen moments? Those unsuspected surprises? Those treasures in life that are hard to find? Or those simple moments that are full of promises?

Life has everything that we need. Every human being is fortunate and blessed enough to be given the gift of life each day.

Unfortunate events, failures, grief, unanswered questions, hate, and things that are difficult to accept.

This has made most people of this world, in this generation, in fact, hate their life.

Most people are just blinded by all of the things that are going wrong that they forget everything that truly matters; that every situation we are going through has a reason. And only God knows that reason.

You should always remind yourself that even after the heaviest rainfalls, there will always be a rainbow. No matter what you're going through right now, whatever pain, hurt, or emotion you are feeling, remind yourself that everything has a reason that goes with God's plan for us.

No need for self-harm, suicide, negative and anxious thoughts. Your life is precious, you matter, and you are loved. Always remember that.

Whenever you take a look at your reflection in the mirror and notice little imperfections and have negative thoughts afterward, don't. Instead, look at yourself as to how God sees you.

Your life and each individual's life is special and different in this world. It should be cherished. It should be accepted. It should be loved.

I'm more active about this sa Twitter but for my non-Filo moots, here's what's happening:

Certain regions at the Philippines, specifically at the north (I'm not sure which parts but I'm certain that the following are in danger right now: Cagayan, Rizal, Marikina, Metro Manila, Pasig, Isabela, Aurora, and more) are now suffering due to Bagyong Ulysses (internationally called as Bagyo Vamco). Not to mention, we haven't fully recovered from Bagyong Rolly, too.

Some of the residents are still entrapped in their houses and are in need of rescue. If you watch or read the news, some are currently staying at their rooftops (yes, the flood is that bad) waiting for aid. Usually, those who are entrapped are families who have children and elderly with them and unfortunately, we lack the man power as of the moment but we are trying! It's really heartbreaking :((( and I think Cagayan needs help the most atm? It has something to do with the water dam?

Please enlighten me to those who know more.

It’s my 17th Birthday

November 10, one of the happiest birthdays of my life, though it wasn’t celebrated on the day itself, we were still complete and had a bonding as a family. In the same month, it was also my sister’s birthday and the time where my birthday was also celebrated. A week before that, I was asking many of my friends and other relatives to attend the celebration and it was all going well but as the day of celebration is approaching, many of them don’t find time to visit. Comes the 27th of November, I was not hoping many visitors from my friends and companions but at the end of the day, I was greeted by my numerous friends and also with my teachers and classmates. Many of them canceled their events and works just to find time to attend the celebration. I was very thankful and happy that day and I realize that there are so many connections I made that I have to cherish. I greatly appreciated their presence and “syempre ikaw din maam” HAHAHA. I consider them as my second family which I have to take care of and be thankful for. Many of them are tired of school works and have some events with their companions but instead, they canceled it and attended the birthday celebration which is very special for me. Sometimes we need someone to simply be their, not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared about. Labyu guys!!
