Greater Blue-eared Starling (Lamprotornis chalybaeus)
"Even the juvenile has cool colors!"
Sadly, there isnt a ton to find on this guy because he's a very common, beautiful, generalist. Starlings are known for their flocking, often eating whatever seeds and insects they can find. The range of the Greater Blue-eared Starling covers a large chunk of sub-Saharan Africa, and as such they are labeled as Least Concern by the IUCN redlist.
