A sphynx cat!

Who proposed getting the pet

Yuuma! He remembered Trey missed his dog back home, and asked if he wanted a pet. Trey mentioned that he always wanted a cat and that the hairless ones were cute

Was the pet a surprise? Or did they get it together?

Together! Yuuma wasn’t exactly sure what to look for in a cat, so Trey helped

What they named it

Sandy! (cuz like the desert)

Who takes care of the pet more

Yuuma, but Obomi helps (after insulting him)

Who spoils the pet (gets it fancy treats/clothes/toys)

Trey. He bought/made her little cat sweaters so she wouldn’t be chilly

this isnt even that weird but i 100% think he talks to himself in the Ray Shadows Voice sometimes. He'll have entire conversations back and forth with himself just doing little voices, probably does really bad impressions of Yuma and Nasch and whoever else too.
