Shoulder Strap for the Leather Grocery Bag 30" long, 2.5" at the shoulder and 1.125" wide where it will attach to the bag strap clamp. Using Corel Draw sure makes it easy to draw it, but the first tiled print on two 13"×19" Super B size paper something went wrong and it printed 33" long and 2-7/8" wide at the shoulder. Luckily I measured the print and discovered it. Test run of the Leather Grocery Bag It will be about 2" narrower because I will be trimming inside the rough stitch, the height is 21" and the bottom shows the 8" foldout so the bottom is roughly 8"×10". The width at the top is 18" The whole idea is to make this bag fold into 7"×7"×1.5" so that it is easy to carry to the grocery store in San Francisco where mostly walk or take the train or the trolley. Simply because it is too difficult to find parking! The finished bag will have those built-in carrying handles and the 'D' Rings on four corners as well as a removable shoulder strap. It's not easy to cut a 20 inch by 6 foot piece of leather with straight rectangular edges out of a 50 square foot piece of 2 oz/ 1 mm piece of leather to make the Leather Grocery Bag The bag will be made from a SINGLE PIECE of leather The two end pieces will be folded over about 4" to make the bag handles as you saw before. The middle will be folded like an 'M' to give a total of 8" bottom Then the two sides will be stitched to make this bag in a Minimalist Design.
