QSMP - feathered cuddles at the end of the world

Summary in which the prison escapees settle in for the night after the final escape.

Notes this is how the 'beds' are setup (names listed after the semicolon ; are those who are/were comatose, some ccs are not listed because they were not present, either playing or as a bed, during the prison event) Bed 1: Phil, Charlie Slimecicle, Tubbo, Missa, Chayanne, Tallulah, Sunny, Quacki; Wilbur Bed 2: Foolish, Quackity, Mariana, Pepito, Leo; Bed 3: Fit, Felps, Pac, Mike, Richas, Ramon; Bed 4: Pierre, Etoiles, Badboy, Pomme, Dapper; Antoine Bed 5: Mouse, Tina, Bagi, Niki, Em; Bed 6: ; Vegetta, Roier, Carre, Rubius, Willyrex

Phil carefully wiped as much of the slime off Antoine’s form as he could, being careful to shield any of the mortals from witnessing his shrouded eldrich form. Antoine twitched slightly toward wakefulness as Phil finished, and folded his limbs into a meditative orientation. The eldritch humanoid nodded back off to sleep, floating silently in the air.

Phil stepped away, taking a turn around the dusty library to check on all the others who had escaped. Foolish was hauling large squares of carpet he and Fit had cut out from the floor with various sharp items. Leo and Ramon were trailing after him. Fit was across the room with Pac, cutting more squares of carpet up from the floor.

The carpets were being piled into a couple makeshift mattresses against one of the far walls.

Pomme, Pierre and Etoiles had been cutting the large, slightly threadbare curtains down from the walls to cut into blankets. Pierre and Pomme had now distributed the large blankets to the six carpet mattresses, and were now making the one for the French, Badboy and Dapper comfortable for rest.

Bagi, Mike and Richas were messing with the blankets for the Portuguese bed; well, Bagi and Mike were. Richas was running back and forth between the various groups that were settling their sleep areas.

Chayanne and Tallulah had dragged Tubbo and Charlie to one of the mattresses, Sunny following. Mariana and Charlie had a rather tearful reunion when Mariana woke after everyone was safe. It did consist of a bit of yelling at each other, but they eventually fell into a rather passionate kiss and gentle terms of endearment. Phil was sure Charlie did not admit that it was Charlie who carried Mariana all the way to safety.

Mariana was overjoyed to learn that he was Sunny’s stepfather, as was Charlie toward Pepito. They had truly been fantastic parents toward Flippa when she was still alive, and they would be amazing parents now they had new chances.

Fit and Pac hauled the last carpet square toward the beds, dropping it on the one Mouse, Tina, Bagi and Em had claimed. Tina and Mouse immediately descended on the pile with the blankets they had claimed. Niki was sat leaned against the wall while Em gently dabbed a piece of curtain that had been soaked in cool water against her mom’s warm forehead. Mouse had carried Niki from the infirmary all the way here, and while Niki’s fever had broken, she was still a bit sick. But she was awake. Which was more than anyone could say for the five who had been placed on the first bed that had been made.

Vegetta, Roier, Carre, Rubius and Willyrex were still deep in a coma. Foolish had gotten so fussy over Vegetta and Roier, which was understandable. They were his Family. There was nothing more important than Family to the divinely touched.

Quackity and Mariana were fussing over Pepito, who was nodding off in the bed that Foolish had claimed for himself, his younger child and youngest grandchild. And his youngest grandchild’s parents.

Phil walked over to the bed his family had claimed. Tallulah was fussing over Wilbur’s sleeping body. Chayanne was sitting on Missa’s lap. The dark haired undead smiled as Phil approached. Phil nodded, returning the smile.

Charlie and Tubbo had passed right out, Sunny cradled between them, also deeply asleep.

Phil slid off his orange jacket, flexing his wings with a slight wince. Chayanne made grabby hands toward Phil, and Phil crawled onto the mattress, and turned so his back was to his husband and his son. Their thin, deft fingers worked through his feathers, settling them.

Tallulah’s hands soon joined Chayanne and Missa’s, making Phil slump as endorphins flooded his system.

Vaguely at the edge of his perception, he heard a shuffling sound, an exclamatory sound, and one of pairs of hands stopped working on his wings. But Phil was this close to passing out, his head full of bird instincts. Of flock, flock, family, joy, flock.

The third pair of hands returned, followed by a fourth, larger but still skilled, which finally pushed him over the edge into rest.

Missa chuckled as Phil tipped forward, finally asleep. Wilbur carefully caught his exhausted father, and Chayanne helped maneuver the sleeping avian into a far more comfortable sleep position.

Wilbur ran his fingers through Tallulah’s short waves, looking sadly at his little girl. Now not so little. She had new scars, and a harder look to her. But she still looked up at him with the same absolute love as before he had left.

Wilbur carefully removed his golden sweater, and picked at the bindings around his torso. Chayanne leaned over and grabbed a diamond knife from the floor beside the bed and held it out to his elder brother.

Wilbur took it gratefully and cut through the leather straps, letting his brown, almost black feathered wings out for the first time since he left the island. They ached from being bound so long and needed a good preening. Tallulah’s eyes lit up and she tugged his hand and pointed to them.

Wilbur turned so Tallulah could see them in their full glory. His wings weren’t quite as large as his father’s despite Wilbur being a good handspan taller. His flight feathers had been carefully clipped, much differently than the quick rough clipping that had been done to Phil’s. Wilbur was still pissed about that and was going to break someone when he found out who had treated his father’s beautiful wings in such a demeaning manner.

Tallulah and Chayanne began working on Wilbur’s feathers, and Wilbur melted under their gentle, highly adept ministrations. They weren’t quite as good as Phil. And certainly not as good as Kristin. But right now, they were amazing.

The family that had been touched by death quietly bonded, relishing the quiet things after the storm.

When Phil eventually wakes up, he finds that Leo, Richas, Ramon, Pomme and Em had made their way over to his family’s bed. All of them plus Chyanne, Tallulah, Sunny and Quacki are cuddled under his wings. And Wilbur is awake.

HEY!! actually wrote these all out u can tell where i started going off of mostly appearance for these because i only really know a few qsmp characters help obviously not everyone but uhm. swagever (sorry for sending it to inbox it was too big to fit in the comments on that other post)

Tubbo: Groyvle (Frozen in time/Time related things. Looks like how I imagine her, I like the idea of him not being a fully evolved mon I think it oddly fits her)

Spreen: Hisuian Typhloshion!!!!! (Guy who is like darker colors and the ghost typing is such a cool like. hint towards his tragic fate of fucking dying. Plus works well with Fit and Ramon being normal types)

DanTDM: Shiny Sceptile (works mostly with my specific QSMP dragon lore but TLDR is that Tubbo and Dan are really similar genetics wise and look almost identical, but Dan's fully evolved while Tubbo hasn't really mastered it yet hence. Shiny Sceptile (which is more blue so its fitting)

Bad: Yveltal (Death vulture thing, Dark Type, God-related status, Immortal)

Jaiden: I know the obvious choice is like Chatot but. I like to think she'd be an Archeops I feel like she'd be a raptor of some kind and Archeops is like both that and a parrot it feels made for her…. SHE'D HAVE HER NORMAL COLORS THOUGH I THINK

Pac: Shiny Dusk Form Lycanrock: I like to think Q!Pac is some kind of shiba hybrid so he's GOTTA be a dog and Shiny Dusk Lycanrock is the EXACT colors

Fit: Ursaring because like. Look at it that's just him

Cellbit: Meowscarada this is another appearance based one but I REALLYYY like Meowscarada Cellbit its fun to me.

Baghera: KILOWATTRELLLLLL i dont think any of the ducks fit her and I fucking LOVEEEE kilowattrel i think it's a really fun choice for her

Roier: Midnight Lycanrock I like to think Roier is an African Wild Dog and I think it makes this guy fit him! Plus he's red and emo which is fitting i think

Foolish: Palafin! I don't wanna give him Sharpedo because i think it'd be a bit too silly, and Garchomp is for Leo, so Palafin!! Works well with me imagining him as a Sawshark anyways…

Phil: Honchkrow. IT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE HIMMM ITS SUCH A GOOD MON FOR HIM hes not corviknight because thats my c!phil headcanon plus i feel like q!phil's less intimidating

Missa: Alolan Marowak i know next to nothing about this guy but. dude's an alolan marowak

Cucurucho: BLOOD MOON URSALUNA THIS FUCKERS SUCH A URSALUNA its a big intimidating bear that's face is mostly obscured and doesn't really display much emotion raaaagh its so fitting

Fred: Beartic because blue polar bear but GOD i love ur pangoro idea thats so fun

Sunny: Cosmog because i loveeee the idea that shes gonna turn into a solgaleo its so funny to me. groyvle dad with a metal sun lion god following him around PLUS COSMOG FITS HER IN LIKE A LOVING SPARKLY THINGS WAY… made of stars

Dapper: Zweilous (I think a lot of the eggs have evolved atp) Fits bad's dark typing! Little guy!!! Little guy with no eyes!!!!

Ramon: Drampa. Mustache dragon thanggggggggg also the idea of this baby dragon being a grampa is really funny

Pomme: DIPPLINNNNNN make that girl into a hydrapple to match dapper becoming a hydreigon eventually. the hydra sisters :fire: ALSO DIPPLIN IS REALLY CUTE i dont particularly care for flapple and appletun feels too like. lazy? for pomme? idk

Richas: Craniados!!!!!! The way people draw Richas reminds me SOOOO much of a pachycephalosaur so I gave him the pachycephalosaur pokemom!!!

Chayanne: FRAXUREEEE haxorus is SUCHHH a chay pokemon to me i think its the yellow. i like to think he's the first to evolve due to being the oldest :3

Tallulah: Swablu: I've always associated the altaria line with music and Tallulah with music so!!!!!

Flippa: Goomy. u'll never fucking guess why

Leo: GABITEEEEEE its a shark dragon its MADEEEE for her honestly

Bobby: Bagon because I feel like it mirrors Jaiden's whole thing with flying in a really sad way

I FUCKING LOVE THEESE. God I love pokemon aus so much they're so fun. And sw on the just appearance ones because they work too. Pac and sunny are probably my favorites from this list

QSMP SCHOOL AU EXCEPT MAXO IS THE TEACHER BECAUSE I SAID SO

Hey so i just love the fact that Phil told Chayanne those bedtime stories about the potato war and went ‘i could make an au out of this’, so I present this!!!! It’s basically just the eggs being amazing!!!!

“As you all know, this morning we are doing mostrar y compartir,” Señor Maxo starts, looking over all his full class of young students with the smallest smile on his face. “I made sure at the door that all parents brought you something to show, so who wants to go first?”

Dapper, a kid who prefers his top hats over learning his two times tables, throws his hand up first, a bright grin on his face that contrasts his deep black skin, akin to his father’s. As smart as a kid he can be, he never really focused on his learning, much preferring to doodle animals on the corners of his pages than to listen to what his teacher had to say.

“Dapper, come to the front.” Maxo welcomed nonetheless, beckoning him forwards. It wasn’t a shock when the boy lifted a cardboard box, skipping down the isle as he kept the box steady.

“It was very hard to decide who to bring in today,” he started, too happy to settle anyone’s nerves, “But papa helped me, and so I present,” he lifted the lid, the box folding with it apart from the bottom, which was being supported by only the palm of his hand. There sat a frog, it’s black eyes void of any thought as it shimmered in the classroom light. “Yesenia!”

There was a yelp from the back of the class, and then a crash following it, Juana’s glasses falling off of her face in her shock. On the contrary, Tallulah, whose seat was by the teacher’s desk at the front, leaned closer, wonder written into her eyes as anything but foreign as she watched Yesenia waddle across the cardboard.

“Yesenia is a blue poison dart frog,” when Tallulah reached her hand out, Dapper had no choice but to slap it away, ignoring the pout on her face to continue his explanation, “Don’t touch her, you could die, or become a potato, do you want to be a potato Tallulah?”

“I’m good, but Chayanne would love to be a potato!” She supplied easily, smiling at her brother who could only glare at her, a silent wish for her to quieten their strange secrets.

“Okay,” Maxo finally cuts in, ushering Dapper back to his seat, “I think that’s enough death talk por un día, whose next?”

Chayanne slowly raised his hand, clear hesitance in his movement but clear determination in his sparkling blue eyes. The kid had always been a wonder to Maxo; he knew the boy inherited his skull-like features from his Dad Missa, a man constantly around the globe for work. His other features, like his golden locks and diamond irises came from his other Dad, Philza, a renowned soldier known for his lack of mortality.

“Chayanne, you don’t have something to show?” The teacher noted as the boy made his way to the front of the class, eyes not moving from where Tallulah and Richarlyson sat close together, the former clapping her hands quietly and the latter giving him a silent whistle.

“No, I uh- I have a story, that my papa Phil taught me.” He replied, his words becoming more confident the longer he spoke. All Maxo could do was nod, encourage him to continue and hope Leo didn’t fall more asleep than they already had. “So, you know how we live on this massive ass potato farm?” There was a chorus of yes’s that spread across the room, and somehow this only enhanced the boy’s confidence. “Well, the farm is a legacy of sorts, created to commemorate one of my Dad’s best friends- Technoblade, is what he told me he was called.”

“Weird name.” Rámon mumbled, and Chayanne gave him the smallest smile, deciding against commenting.

“A few years ago he decided he wanted to break the record for the most potatoes farmed by one man ever.” He started, pacing the front of the classroom with his hands dug deep into his hoodie pockets. “Of course, it’s quite a task, and he had an opponent named Squid, who’d set the record and was continuing to set the record every minute.”

“So he never stopped farming?” Pomme interrupted, arm half raised as she smiled, and Chayanne nodded.

“This man was committed to farming these potatoes, but no one’s dedication could beat Technoblade’s.” It was simply the admiration and amazement in Chayanne’s voice that made Maxo want to listen, and it was clear the kids agreed, with Leo’s head no longer resting on the table and Tilin’s blinking eyes looking directly at the front for once, their hands dancing in front of her to keep himself occupied. “Within just a few months, with a few magical secrets I’ve been told I’m not allowed to talk about, Technoblade broke the record for the most potatoes farmed.”

The smile fell from the boy’s face, and everyone waited with baited breath for the end of his story, naive hope it would end there and then.

“But, um,” Chayanne looked over at Tallulah, who gave him a small nod and that wonderful smile of hers, and the dedication blossomed once more. “But sadly he passed away, and so we live his legacy on, and we donate all produce to charity because papa says that’s what Technoblade would’ve wanted.”

Without needing to be told, Chayanne made his way back to his seat, Rámon not-so-subtly nudging him as a way of saying ‘good job’, and the boy could only supply a small smile, nudging him back.

The rest of the day moved smoothly, with Tallulah’s flower from her garden, Trumpet’s new vinyl player, and Leo’s 3D printed dragon, everyone seemed weirdly content.

Maxo only got a chance to ask Chayanne his question at the end of the day.

Philza was picking him up that day, Maxo could spot that man’s pitch-black wings from forever away, so he knew he had to be quick before the man threw hands.

“Hey, Chayanne, could I talk to you for a second?” He asked as all the kids were walking out, bags in hand as they chatted amongst themselves. Tallulah paused too, turning to face the teacher with confusion in her dark brown eyes, brown hair falling over her face but being mostly contained in a dirty red beanie too similar to her Dad’s. The boy hummed, walking to his desk without question, leaving his twin to linger by the door. “Why did you decide to talk about Technoblade?”

The question was innocent, a want to understand the reasons behind the kid’s thought-out choices, but it didn’t stop the prior hesitation from returning.

“He-“ Chayanne started, before he squeezed his eyes shut, hands pulled into tight fists as he took a deep breath. “He showed strength when it was hardest to.” The boy decided on, eyes out of the window as he thought his words through. “I just want to be as strong as him one day, and I have no doubt the others will want to be too.”

Maxo could only manage a nod and a smile, motioning to the door with his chin.

“You best be going before your papa comes to stab me with that enchanted sword I know he has.” The teacher advised, and Chayanne could only scoff, walking out of the room before he had a chance to say anything else. Like before, Tallulah hovered, thinking it through before speaking.

“Have a buena tarde señor!” She eventually told him, before running after her brother, her long skirt flowing behind her in her haste.

It was for days like those that Maxo became a teacher.

And, sometimes, it was nice to know that the kids could still teach you some things, no matter how much smarter you are.

I can just imagine Chayanne giving an entire powerpoint presentation on Technoblade and the entire qsmp egg population watching with utter amazement

code appearance 3: return of the protagonist

things of note: honestly very fuckin little! this was the shortest "attack" yet and it reveal very little about the code, BUT there are some interesting things to note

1. sky did not change - this is the first time since the code started targeting eggs that the sky hadn't changed. this maybe because it was already night and it was originally theorised that the day / night change happens so it can spawn ghosts. if this is the case the sky cannot be used as a reliable predictor for code attacks. 2. code did not even acknowledge dapper - unlike the first time where the code headed to ninho, this time the code didn't even LOOK at dapper, showing maybe the codes focus had shifted to the parents 3. the code is misogynistic - code has now targeted all the girl eggs, but seriously it seems like the code is only giving the threats to the eggs parents

1) pomme -> aypierre 2) leo -> foolish 3) tallulah -> philza (could argue that this is incorrect cause philza isn't actually tallulah's parent but wilbur has never seen code so we could argue that code doesn't know any better)

so following this train of thought, the code is likely going to appear in front of any of the brazilians for richas, bbh for dapper, philza again for chayanne and fit for ramon. BUT philza and fit being at twitchcon make me question whether this will remain consistent. 4. BBH STILL HAS IT LASSOED - my current favourite theory regarding the code right now. the two common factors of all these attacks, is that the code has given a item to a parent AND bbh has been present. despite there being plenty of opportunities for the code to of threatened these parents, especially philza as he was streaming for 4 hours before bbh showed up, the code has only showed up when bbh is there. this makes me think that the code may still be lassoed or is targeting bbh. (i am aware that on mike's stream, he right clicked Walter Bob and the lassoed popped but unless we are theorising that Bob and the code are the same entity). this theory is more me being a bbh fanboy and thinking its cool, than concrete but i figured i'd bring it up. its more likely that bbh has just always been around when its happened, but a guy can dream.

i was going to make this a separate post but ill just answer this here. also im obviously going to be biased bc i see some eggs more than others and ofc i miss out on a good chunk of lore bc i only know english. so if im wrong, theres a reason for that!

my hot take is that roleplaying as a child > any other lore crafted. so that shapes the bulk of this list. AND NO SLANDER THEY ALL DO REALLY WELL, THIS LIST IS NITPICKY BC I OVERALL LOVE THEM ALL.

dapper: I SWEAR IM NOT (COMPLETELY) BIASED. a few months ago, dapper's admin would be quite lower, however he's really gone crazy with rp recently. his body language is really cute and feels very childlike, and i really enjoy how he saves emotional sucker-punches when you least expect it. his deathday signs hit that much harder because he rarely shares his feelings. the soul vulture lore was really well drawn-out with a great pay-off. and it all felt very in character and gave so much character development. if dapper openly shared his feelings all the time with bad, i dont think any of this would feel as powerful.

leo: leo feels so much like a character, and i mean that entirely positively. whenever i see her, i feel like i dont even think of QNPC05, i just think LEO. shes spoiled and bratty but in an adorable way, her body language just screams CHILD, and her use of different heads is so fun. also she was the first egg to use colored signs! she has a lot of worries and social anxiety, but i feel like whenever she communicates these to foolish, it never feels info-dumpy. its actually very impressive how much emotion she can put across just through body language.

richarlyson: i actually was wondering if richas should be lower and everyone raises their pitchforks. i know. hear me out. i really like how detailed richas' admin does his lore HOWEVER i sometimes feel like he doesn't act baby enough. idk. theres something about how leo and dapper emote, and even their worries and insecurities, that makes me see them as much younger. that being said, richas' dedication to family conflict is really well-done and something that more eggs should do. (and for everyone disagreeing with me, i know. i know why im wrong. but i just cant help the vibes i get im sorry?). i get a lot of cuteness agression when he shifts to check if people are following him tho 10/10

tallulah: tallulah and pomme are interchangeable bc they both do what i DONT prefer in rp, which is writing out your feelings. dont get me wrong, its great to know the eggs' thoughts, but those sort of angst dumps just dont hit as hard every stream. tallulah just edges out pomme bc she is a bit more irrational, and makes a lot of mistakes, which i think is a brave move in rp.

pomme: pomme has a really well-crafted character, but, again, i really prefer eggs who are harder to figure out vs eggs who lay all their feelings out. pomme is a bit too influential in bbh's lore decisions imo, sometimes i think she should let things play out a bit further before she tries to reign him back. i know shes just rping, but metawise, i think the admin should let him cook a little longer. i do really think she has a great "child soldier" vibe going on, which feels v much uniquely hers. i just think she could take more risks in rp, pomme is a very logical egg but she's still just a child. i dont want her to always choose the logical answer, i want to see how her young perceptions can force her to make a wrong decision.

ramon: ramon is sort of a weird case in that hes ABOVE tallulah/pomme cause he doesnt do what i dislike. however hes below them in general characterization. that being said, hes really underrated in his relationship with fit, and has some very gut-punching one liners. but hes also kind of like richas where i know LOGICALLY he does roleplay like a kid but i just. the vibes are not the same as dapper and leo. what can i do about that. hes just too competent i guess.

chayanne: chayanne is another egg thats hard for me to catch on stream, but i havent really felt any standout moments from 01 or 06 (however i think 01 plays best cucurucho). idk. i know chayanne's personality pretty well, i just need something...more. maybe i just tune in at the wrong times? i DO love his opinions on philever tho lmaoo. i think his best moment was when he kept trying to fight while quackity repeatedly told him he wasnt strong (reinforcing his greatest fear). and i think the fact that chayanne isnt placed in more dangerous situations really hinders his development (since hes understanding of why phil keeps him protected).

aaa thank you so glad you like it so far!! I'm gonna talk about juanaflippa in the next ask I answer bc the next ask actually ties into what's going on with her, so I'll just use this one to talk about the rest of the kids who are present at the start of the story

so to start off, we'll contrast Chayanne's story of Missa saving his life with how Bobby ended up with Jaiden and Roier. again, remember that Jaiden and Roier are both very young vampires and as a result don't make the best decisions. one day the two of them were hanging out in a coffee shop or something when this kid wandered up to them and just went "whoa you're vampires!" with 100% seriousness. bc they are both dumbasses they sucked at playing it cool and the kid only became more convinced as both Jaiden and Roier rambled trying to say they weren't. eventually they both gave in and swore the kid to secrecy, and he agreed only if they would both tell him what it was like to be a vampire. Bobby happened to live near them, so over the next month or so he kept popping up at random trying to hang out with the duo asking them all sorts of questions about vampires. Eventually they figured out the reason this kid had basically zero parental guidance was bc he didn't have a great home life, so when Bobby asked if they could turn him into a vampire Roier wanted to do it while Jaiden cheered him on in the background because Jaiden loves to enable Roier and vice versa. after all, they both had grown really fond of Bobby at this point, and his family was shit and he wanted this so why not? well there were a lot of reasons why not but Roier turned him anyway, and yeah they did just kind of end up kidnapping him. good job guys. Bobby seems pretty happy at least.

I'll put the others under the cut!

Leo has a very different story to Bobby. One night, Vegetta was out trying to hunt when he heard a fight going on. He discovered a group of vampire hunters attacking a vampire and their recently sired child, so he jumped in to help but the adult vampire was killed before Vegetta could chase the hunters off. he got the hunters to run off before they could hurt the child though, and since Leo had no one else, he took her in as his own. He doesn't know why her sire turned her and like I mentioned before, vampire children often don't remember much from their human lives so Leo doesn't know either. Foolish was a bit hesitant about them taking in a kid at first, but he bonded very fast with Leo and now takes care of her the majority of the time. Also technically Roier, and by extension Jaiden and Bobby, are part of Vegetta and Foolish's coven because Vegetta turned Roier and they still talk all the time, but Roier likes having a bit of his own independence so he lives on his own with his family

Bad and Dapper possibly have the most interesting story out of most of the parents and their kids. I mentioned before that the vampire hunter groups are pretty scattered and disconnected from each other, so they all have different rules and regulations. One vampire hunting group happens to train children which no one is happy about. Bad is an extremely kind vampire (strictly feeds on animal blood) who tries to help out anyone he meets—human and vampire—so when he noticed he was being followed by a human child with a wooden stake on his belt he decided to let the kid try his best to kill him because he didn't wanna discourage him y'know? Dapper spent months trying to kill Bad who would never fight back, he would just kind of jump out of the way while being like "whoa you almost got me! good job! :D" the two start talking during these attempts, and Bad quickly grew fond of Dapper and Dapper realized Bad was nothing like what the hunters had told him vampires were like. One night though Dapper met a vampire who wasn't so nice, and Bad found him as he was bleeding out. Bad chased the other vampire off and Dapper—who had realized vampires weren't what he thought they were—asked Bad to turn him because he didn't want to die. Bad complied and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Fit has been a mercenary/assassin for hire for the better part of a century now and used to have a policy where he'd work for anyone if they paid him enough. He even worked for vampire hunters a few times. One time he was completing a job with another mercenary friend of his—Spreen—where they had to kill another vampire. During the fight the vampire grabbed a random kid who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and tried to feed from him to get extra strength. Fit and Spreen killed the vampire, but the kid was severely injured. Fit was considering just letting the kid die, but Spreen said they could turn him and train him together and all that stuff. Fit ended up going for it and turned Ramón, but Spreen dipped almost immediately despite saying he'd help out. Fit was pissed to say the least, but he bonded with Ramón and has ultimately become a lot more chill than he used to be thanks to needing to take care of his son.

Cellbit is a bit of an unhinged guy. Like, he's good, but he also definitely has a flair for the dramatic and a bit of a temper. One day he was just hanging out in a public library when he noticed this really cute young kid crying. He comforted the kid and the two began to talk, and over the next few weeks he found himself growing fond of Richarlyson. He started watching Richarlyson's family from afar to see how his parents were, and although Richas' parents were technically fine, Cellbit witnessed them yelling at Richas one (1) time and decided that was unacceptable (he was kind of just looking for an excuse though) and, uh, killed them. He made sure Richarlyson didn't see anything though and turned him quickly after. Because he was so young at the time (4) he doesn't remember anything from his human life which is probably for the better. Also Cellbit hadn't told the rest of his coven about this kid he met at the library, so the conversation when he got back to the house was basically "whatcha got there?" Cellbit, holding a 4 year old in one arm and starbucks in the other, "...coffee." Thankfully the rest of the Brazilians bonded very quickly with Richas, Forever especially who got flooded with mama wolf protectiveness. Richarlyson is the only one who can get near Forever during full moons, with Forever often curling up around the boy and licking his face until they fall asleep together.

Before joining the Big Group, the French coven lived very far out in the middle of the woods by themselves. There were roads, but they were very twisty and steep, often on the edge of mountains. One day, Baghera was out hunting for animals when she heard a car go through one of the road barriers. When she got to the crash site she saw the only passenger who survived was a little girl, but she was bleeding badly and wasn't going to make it. Baghera turned her to save her life, and then realized she didn't know shit about raising a kid, and the guys in her coven definitely didn't know how to raise a kid—let alone a vampire kid. She does her best with Pomme though, and after they join up with the others Forever gives her a lot of parenting advice

Tilín had a bit of a sad story. Wilbur left Quackity only a few days after he turned him, and Quackity was slightly relieved because he's very bad at the whole commitment to someone else thing since he's been alone for so long. But then he found a recently turned vampire kid who had been abandoned by their sire, and since Quackity was abandoned by his own sire (even though he was an adult when he was turned), he knew what it was like and couldn't just leave the kid to die. He really didn't know what he was doing though, and again, had a lot of internal issues with that sort of stuff. He left Tilín alone too much to go off and do his own stuff, and they got killed by hunters as a result. Quackity blames himself so much for it.

Max had a similar situation to Quackity with Trump, except he turned Trump himself because he was desperately lonely after not having a coven for so many decades. Trump was also a pretty lonely orphan kid, so in a way they were a good match for each other. But Max got caught up in his own programming work a lot and sometimes forgot to check on his kid. As a result Trump tried to hunt on his own, ended up exposing himself to some humans, and the Federation had to step in. They killed the humans involved, and then killed Trump as well because he'd put their secret at risk. Max only found out after the fact and was very heartbroken, but also gained a grudge for the Federation after that.

Like I said, I'll talk about Juanaflippa in my next ask. Also as far as Tallulah goes, she wouldn't come in till later in the story, but obviously yes Wilbur does end up taking her in at some point :)

Alright, here we go again. QSMP Day 26 Lore Update, based on what I saw and what I gathered from other people's summaries on Twitter:

First of all, I'd like to address the fact that Census Bureau seems to be more active these days, since Cucurucho was already spying on Vegetta before warning him about the no diamond rule.

Early on not much happened, Wilbur and Philza were introduced to each other's eggs and they had some family bonding time. It is now canon that Wilbur is Philza's son and Chayanne's brother, as well as Tallulah being their granddaughter and niece respectively. When things start to go downhill is after they log off, at Slime's stream.

At first Slime was just gathering resources, running away from mobs and trying to invoke angel!Rubius. Since q!Slime didn't know about Flippa's death at that point, he just kept finding stuff to give her whenever he sees her again (pain).

Everything would change with Cucurucho's visit while he was mining. They started asking him a bunch of questions about Flippa, and Slime started suspecting something had happened to her and demanded they told him. Cucurucho told him to "figure it out yourself", but in the end they did show him the clip of Mariana killing Flippa again.

Slime then enters a state of denial, refusing to believe his daughter is dead and hallucinating with her, however he seemed to finally accept her death after invoking angel!Rubius. Rubius addressed the fact that he had promised him an extra life for Flippa, though he said he had to "ask his father and other people" (aka he most likely promised him that in the first day of the event without knowing if he was allowed to do that lmao). He told Slime he had to choose between bringing back Flippa or Tilín, and Slime ultimately chose Flippa, but asked to give the life to Tilín if she didn't want to revive a second time. He also asked Rubius to not tell Quackity he was given the option to choose.

We now move on to Bad and Foolish, who learn about Leo's "friends": a platypus called Perry, Cucurucho themself and a mysterious black creature called Dark. This creature looks very similar to the monster Quackity drew according to a vision he had after Tilín's death, and according to Leo it protects her, though Foolish isn't very sure of this.

On his part, Maxo was getting drunk due to his grief over his egg's, Trump, death until he meets up with angel!Rubius, who accidentally tells him about Flippa's possible revival. Maxo confronts him about his own child's death and Rubius makes a deal with him to revive Trump if Maxo builds a church for him. However, soon would appear Cucurucho, who tells Maxo not to trust Rubius, and instead tells him that there's a chance that Trump can revive if he is online the next day, during the funeral for the eggs that have died. Maxo threatened then Cucurucho if they didn't actually bring back Trump, and they just... Laughed at him.

He then goes to visit Bad and Foolish, who by this point have had to fight a bunch of Withers Rubius spawned, to tell them about the deal and ask them for help. However they get interrupted soon by the binary code creature as well as more dragons attacking them. They are able to run away and get shelter though.

Maxo, Bad and Foolish start discussing and theorising some stuff, with Bad and Foolish agreeing to help Maxo if Cucurucho doesn't help him after all. Maxo also expresses worry that he's going to be turned into a robot like Luzu, as he was also told to go visit him by Cucurucho.

Turns out: Cucurucho was spying them, which they realised, and they followed Maxo as he ran away from them to make sure he actually believes them and tells him to trust the Census Bureau of the QSMP. The other two went their separate ways, with Bad going out of his way to check up on all the eggs and make sure no one would die out of neglect again.

And I believe that is all. Take into account I had to gather much of this from other people's commentary + the official update accounts so I might have left something out, but hopefully this is good enough.

Also, it seems something will be happening at the funeral, and since someone said "the worst is yet to come" my bets are Dark is gonna appear and won't be as kind as Leo believes it to be, but that's just a theory.

The Pokemon Ranger au!!! For some cutes for you. The first batch of eggs from the initial event are on like year long work placements with Pokemon Ranger School, and get assigned to various bases around the region. The younger eggs are younger kids, not yet old enough for ranger school. The player characters are, like, the established rangers, or run businesses, or whatever. Ramon wants to be a scientist, so is placed with Pac and Mike at HQ, and how Pac and Fit get to know each other better than just in passing. Or, well, Fit heading back to get kit repaired or have upgrades explained and all that. Fit is technically speaking one of the Top Rangers, but generally works in the unshowy and difficult jobs - he doesn't calm legendaries attacking cities or look after abandoned mareep, he's knee deep in sand and mud trying to apply healing potions to grumpy hippopotas in the middle of the fucking desert in a sandstorm for no reason other than it's their job to help. Or dragging a very stubborn onix who is maybe eating a coal mine to a cave humans don't need to be using. That sort of stuff. Fit lost his arm to a Pokemon he was trying to wrangle. Absolutely doesn't blame the gyrados, it was him who fucked up and he knows it. Pac, however, lost his leg while he was still training, having been practicing Pokemon commands with his classmate Cellbit and Cellbit's Pokemon disobeying badly. They're still friends, but it was shaky for a bit, and it's what had Mike divert into science, with Pac following a bit after.

Pokemon rangers do have partner pokemon who stick with them (and in this case they have multiple who chill at home when not with them), but most of the pokemon a ranger interact with they only keep temporarily to help them with a specific task, then let them go back to the wild. They are mostly park ranger? Dealing with ecological problems (and occasionally ecological crimes), but also wildlife rehabilitation. They also have a big comms network because this is the Pokemon world and like. Dealing with ecological disasters where Pokemon and sometimes legendaries are involved is almost superhero level bullshit (*looks at ruby and sapphire - pokemon rangers are who have to clean up if they'd actually started flooding everything*)

In the au sometimes Pokemon with more serious injuries are bought back and treated and there's the equivalent of a sealife sanctuary but for pokemon - heal and rerelease those who can be released, otherwise look after them if the injuries mean surviving in the wild wouldn't work. That's where Dapper is studying! Though, given his dad is the head of the project, that would happen.

Chayanne is placed under Philza, a former top ranger who was occassionally involved in the showy side of it, but stepped down after a nasty injury to lead a local branch. Chayanne and Tallulah are kids of single parent Missa, who is a fisherman. Chayanne's extra partner Pokemon stay with Missa and Tallulah when not needed. Chayanne is also trying to get his mentor and his dad together.

Um other bits... Foolish is a marine specialist! Not all of the rangers have diving training, and Foolish is especially good at it. (Chayanne actually wanted to do the marine specialist stuff, but Leo beat him to it. And won by being his kid).

Mostly its just an excuse for everyone to have cute fun times and sure there's some horrifying, but... it's pokemon ecological conservation hours my dude! Bobby is super passionate about the 'gross' pokemon being important and he's *correct*. Natural balance and all that.
