While I still love the show, hearing about all the toxicity in the fandom really turned me off so I just try to avoid it.J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. Also Over the Garden Wall and Bojack Horseman (the former of which I still really recommend you see).K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?I’m also gonna say Sunset Shimmer from Equestria Girls. She went from being a seemingly one-off villain to a fully redeemed good guy and leader in her own right. Though she still has her insecurities, it lets her relate to and help others in the same situation to not let those feelings of inadequacy or jealousy overcome them.Also Midna from Twilight Princess. Her change of heart from servicing her own needs to selfless sacrifice after observing how hard Link tried to save others mirrors my own feelings when I met Link in OoT/MM and watched him grow into a true hero, working to help both the people of Hyrule and Termina even when he had no obligation or was openly blamed for Ganon’s rise to power.L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)So I’m not a big fan of Dick Grayson in the DCAU (or any of his animated adaptations aside from Lego Batman; his YJ version being especially egregious) since I see him as rather childish and bad at dealing with conflict, but he’s admittedly a lot better in the tie-in comics, which give him some much needed development as Nightwing (whereas he barely got any screentime in TNBA). There he acts as a genuine big brother to Tim, and is shown to not be as nearly as bitter at Bruce as the Old Wounds ep would have one believe. I also like that they highlight Dick’s fondness for music, wherein his musical knowledge actually comes in handy to solve a couple cases.M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.All of the Mekakushi Dan, SOS Brigade, or Host Club tbhN - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).1) More Kagepro content in general2) More DCAU TimSteph 3) More ItsuHaru

Especially the lines “I found my way without your help, with a broken family” and “monsters in my head”. ;(P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).…Tbh I’m really liking the “Legion x Ouran” idea lately. XD *shot*Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.Hm… I don’t think there are any I’ve really “abandoned”, per se. Most of them are still there, just not at the forefront anymore.R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?All the relationships in Kagepro *shot*S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)Molly Hale from the third movie is the god of the Pokémon world. Just… don’t ask lol.T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?Already answered, but I’ll add a few of my favorites for DCAU TimSteph:1) Tim cuts his own hair after RotJ (or rather just lets it grow long) since he doesn’t trust anyone else with sharp objects around him. Steph is the first person he allows to trim his hair for him (even though she has no experience with it either), since I imagine him feeling comfortable enough around her that he even falls asleep like Sousuke does with Chidori in Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid. (For context, he was raised as a soldier from an early age and this is what happened when they tried to take him to a salon. Played for laughs, but probably an accurate portrayal of people suffering from anxiety/PTSD having to deal with mundane tasks that trigger them.)

2) Similarly, Steph plays piano to help calm Tim down whenever he’s having a panic attack.3) After RotJ Tim refuses to wear red for a long time until Steph knits him a red scarf and tells him it “suits him” bc red is the color of heroes.

As an aside, I also recently like the idea that Logan was at Lex’s party in the DCEU and saw Bruce and Diana together, based on this playlist that I made. U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.Gonna talk about a few I don’t mention too often nowadays.

1) Link from The Legend of ZeldaLink will forever be my greatest true love. He’s the first real “hero” I believed in, and he honestly changed my life at one point to actually want to be a better person. While that faith has faded and I don’t think I can ever reach his example, I still wish I had that kind of courage and kindness - or at least be able to inspire others in the same way he did me.2) Meroko Yui from Full Moon wo SagashiteIf Link was the first (and only) person I ever truly fell in love with, Meroko was the one who taught me what “true love” was in the first place. I won’t say too much since I still sincerely hope you will check out the series someday, but suffice to say there’s a scene towards the end where she makes a choice that shows how much she has personally grown, and come to understand what it really means to “love” someone wholeheartedly.

3) Gary Oak from PokémonThis is a bit of an odd one, but Gary is a character I related to a lot when I was an adolescent since, of the main series cast, he was the first and one of few to really change his “status quo” by quitting training and deciding to become a researcher instead. In my eyes it seemed like a shockingly conscious choice to “grow up” in a world where you can ostensibly remain a “child” forever, and I both admired and deplored him for it (especially at that tender transitory age I was going through at the time, where it feels like you’re being forced to “become an adult” whether you want to or not).

V - Which character do you relate to most?Already answered.W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.Romance in general is really not my thing, so I dislike when it’s the focus/the writers feel the need to pair every character. I enjoyed seeing people’s answers to the first round so much, I figured, hey! How about another round with different questions this time?! :D :D

A - A random fact about yourself: I am deathly allergic to codeine and hydrocodone, and cats. Yes. Cats can kill me. *sigh*

b - Best movie you’ve seen this year: The Lego Batman Movie.

c - coffee that you order on default: Dark Chocolate Mocha.

d - drink that you might order at a bar: Strawberry Margherita

e - Every-day item you keep near you: My crafting box and my laptop. Will I craft? Will I write? I DON’T KNOW. :D

f - favorite color to wear: Black. Not only is it flattering, it makes me feel like a ninja - which is useful in social situations where I wish I could blend into the shadows and/or sneak away. :-)

n - Number of schools you've attended: Uh...I had a very strange childhood. Technically, I went to eight schools by the time I finished high school. I only went to one college (more out of a sense of duty then out of desire), and after that, I was so happy with being finished with formal ‘book’ education. I love learning, but it’s not all about books and tests. As much as I love the stability a structured a lesson plan can give, I feel like the real world is a lot more like ‘hm, okay, I think I can do this...oh, right, well, I’ll try that differently next time.”

o - one thing you would change about your past: Honestly? I’d go back in time and tell my younger self it’s okay to be a nerd, and that other people can be complete jackasses for no good reason. Then I’d turn around and kick a few people where it hurts, just because I’d be tall enough to do it, lol.

p - person you identify most in fiction: Oh, geez, just one? Generally speaking, I’d have to go with the genre ‘Person who is protective but also has a sense of fun.’ One my best friends called me ‘Naruto’, which makes me really happy. :D

q - question you are asked the most often: ‘Are you sure that’s a good idea?’ Answer: How the hell should I know? I’m just making shit up as I go. It won’t kill me. Probably.

r - real life phobia: Claustrophobia. Might have come from being locked in a tiny shed by some neighbor kids when I was five, but long story short: I will get out, and I will kick your ass. Lesson to take away: Don't be a jackass.

s - your theme song: I have two, because just one doesn’t do it justice. :-) One: ‘Safe and Sound’ as done by Alex Goot. Two: Titanium as done by ‘Voices in Your Head’.

t - one thing you’d say to your younger self: ‘Go. Be great.’

u - Unusual experiences: Well, I’ve nearly died in freak/stupid accidents several times, and I’m starting to wonder if there’s a conspiracy. (Not really, I just laugh off near-death experiences because it’s that or never leave my house). Then again, last year I nearly got electrocuted in my laundry room...so maybe it’s just something I better get used to. Ever seen ‘Milo Murphy’? Yeah, that’s pretty much me. “Sticks and Stones may break your bones, so always wear your body armor!”

v - ever wanted to be/been valedictorian? Oh, hell no. I just wanted to do my best, graduate, and get on with my life. School’s never been my strong point. Again, I loved learning - just not the fact that kids could be real assholes without consequence in the schools I went to. Again, strange childhood - glad it’s over. Adulthood’s better, if only because now I know I can call someone on their bullshit - but you - with humor. :D :D Like starting to whistle ‘Toxic’ in the checkout line if someone’s chewing out the cashier for not going fast enough, lol. :-)

w - what superpower would you want: Maybe waterbending/healing. That, or breathing underwater. :-)

x - Which X-Men would you be? Oh, that’s a hard one. Maybe Storm? I mean, DANG. She can hit you with lightning AND fly. Hard to beat that.

y - you interact with your best friend most like: Karrin Murphy and Harry Dresden from ‘The Dresden Files.

z- what is your zany level?: Off. The. Charts. Life’s way more fun that way. :-)

Do you have a lot of regrets? i have one really big one lol, i previously discussed it in another ask, my disgusting af ex… i have another one that I’ve never have really told anyone, that involves my dad, but i won’t put it on here cause well lmao idk

Where’s your happy place? rock concerts. everyone there at least kinda understands why i love these fuckers so much, even though they hit on me and shit. its nice to be around people who get it a lil, even though they’re all way older than me lol. even though, even though. like last weekend i saw Dokken and Dee Snider and after the show they were just playing music from a mix and Cum On Feel The Noise by Quiet Riot played directly after Dee’s set, and EVERYONE was singing along and i really felt at home. I’m never truly as happy as when I’m seeing live music. Like I’m happy other times but its different. its hard to explain man.

What’s a dream you’ve had that you’ll never forget? i have a lot of really bad dreams that were so terrifying ill never forget lol, but like I’ve had really great dreams too. I remember the first dream i had about Axl when i was like 15. it was amazing and wonderful and seeing him in person was everything i ever thought it would be because of the dreams I’ve had of him. he’s just like a dream; i cannot wait to see him again in literally two weeks oh my god.

Are you spiritual at all? i really believe in astrology and i know a lot of people think its bogus, but idk. also like spells and healing crystals are the real deal imo.

What was the saddest point in your life? when my dad got sick, and i watched him get more and more sick and couldn’t do anything about it. and when he broke his back and it healed but his back still hurt so he thought it was that but it was actually the pain from his liver failing. talking to him on the phone and him not being able to answer because he was pretty much a vegetable. telling myself the whole time that something like that could never happen to me and thinking it would all be okay, so when he could talk and the last time i ever talked to him was on the phone and i didn’t want to talk on the phone so i kept trying to get off the phone because i thought ill be able to talk to him when he’s home. he said he couldn’t wait to come home and see his baby girl, and i really believed he’d come home but he didn’t. oh yeah theres the other regret. sorry for the depressing mess
