her parents having lost her brother before jade was old enough to remember, jade was raised as an only child and was extremely spoiled. as a result, she has a strong sense of entitlement and a distinct lack of ambition; the only thing that has motivated her is her insatiable need for more of everything in life. she returned to california (having spent a few years as a kid in l.a.) to go to ucsd and live life on her own even while being fully supported by her parents. following graduation, her parents’ divorce stunned her and prompted a year and a half spent traveling abroad. it was during this time that jade started to seek some actual independence, monetizing her instagram following.

eventually jade wound up in l.a. and shifted her focus to lifestyle influencing. much as she had in high school and college, jade surrounded herself with a crew of spoiled rich kids and people who like to party. recently, she’s had a bit of a crisis of identity, though. she’s starting to develop a modeling career that initially began through instagram sponsorships and to realize that maybe she should grow up. she’s at a crossroads atm.

...so jade’s a mess, but she’s definitely a mess who needs lots of connections! despite being fairly self-centered, jade can be a good friend--she’s the type who will gladly do things for others as long as it benefits her, too (read: covering the tab after a night of bottle service)--and she likes to get out and do things. she has moments, though, where she just disengages from people if she’s annoyed or upset, and she has a hard time letting people in. she’s genuinely at a moment in her life, though, where she’s starting to do a little self-reflecting and could really use some new people--good influences--to shake her out of her spoiled brat behavior. as for romance, jade’s panromantic and pansexual and has undoubtedly had plenty of casual and serious things in her past; she’s very hot and cold with relationships, so some of them have progressed fast and furious and some of them were probably one-night stands that she didn’t care to revisit. she’s all set right now because she’s recently met and is set on pursuing xavier donovan. i’m planning on requesting a step sibling for her and there will be a friend group request for her at some point too, but please hit me up with any and all ideas--rachel#4303 on discord or through tumblr ims ♡

BASICS. born and raised in queens by her single mother. jasmine's mom was diagnosed with breast cancer & tried to beat it for several years. unfortunately, she lost that battle when jasmine was thirteen. minnie then moved to live with her aunt in california. most of her teenage years, jasmine struggled with depression & a constant feeling of loss (which she still struggles with today from time to time). even though her grades may not have showed it, she was a smart girl and could've graduated with honors if life hadn't gotten in the way. though, the descision had been made for years to leave the small town for the city of dreams straight after high school. got discovered through her youtube channel where jasmine put up her own songs, and she then signed and got a record with sony music.

michael and andrea carter always wanted to have children, but early on in their marriage they realised that biological children did not seem to be in their cards. because they were two people who were full of a lot of love to give children, they started adopting daughters - who were purely the children they fell in love with when they visited the adoption agencies. they ended up adopting three daughters and then, to their surprise, ten years after they adopted their first daughter they became pregnant and had their first and only biological child, who they all affectionately call the “miracle baby”. 


sadly, twenty-one years ago, their mother died from cancer. it all happened very quickly and within about six months after her diagnosis, the girls were left without their mother. their dad had always been an excellent daughters’ dad, but there was definitely a space in the family where their mom had been. even more sadly, about five years ago the miracle baby was diagnosed with cancer (the same as the mom, which is up to the player of her!). all the sisters who weren’t already in los angeles (including my character, josie, who was in new york) came home to support the family and a few years ago the youngest was given the all clear for her cancer - although there is always the risk it will return.


so that’s the history and now onto the good stuff! this request is based of off the little women sisterhood because it is iconic! all the characters should be similar to the little women characters - i like the idea of them all having a ~talent, just like the march sisters so the meg would have dreamed of becoming an actress, the amy an artist and the beth a musician. i’d also love if they could have similar family dynamics - eg the beth being an angel, the amy and the jo always fighting and the meg being a Mom sister, but really a lot of aspects of this are open for discussion!! i’m also not keen on them all being famous, but maybe one or two have sort of made it?


i also would like all these characters to be played by women of color. i’ve listed a few suggestions below but i really want them to be a diverse family! obviously michael/andrea’s ethnicity will be determined by whoever takes the beth. we can even request a laurie if we want!

what are you most excited for on los ageless?: the leveling system, tbh!! i’m a big fan of character development, and i think this will work so nicely to aid in development. i’m also stoked to keep playing some old favorites, as well as getting a few newer ones going that haven’t had a whole lot of life breathed into them. plus.... plotting with a bunch of new people i’ve never met! ♡

favorite types of plots: found families, ships with a good dose of angst & fluff at the same time, enemies to lovers, big families, messy families, ride or die, commitmentphobes finding the person for them, smol and tol, angry and soft - especially the last two together. 🥰

RESERVATIONS

this is gonna sound familiar if you’ve already done an intro, but it bears repeating! once you have posted your development, you may send us an ask with your reservation. messages sent through the im feature or submit will be ignored.

we operate on a first come, first serve basis. you are welcome to send in a back up face claim though just in case. there’s really no specific form to fill out, but if you do not provide the name you will be reserving under, we will not grant your reserve.

we also ask that you double check the reservation list for aliases. if someone else is already using the name you’d like to use, you can come up with a new alias or just add a number to it.

we will be reblogging these onto the main page so people can get a sense of your character(s)! you don’t need to wait to send in your reserve after we’ve reblogged it. if you don’t have a tumblr, you can submit your post to us. it should allow you to do that with an email.

there’s essentially two different categories--dev tasks that require graphics and those that do not. feel free to choose any one of the tasks below. we will be looking to make sure that some effort was put into the task, so dev accordingly! we really do not want to be those people saying no to a face claim reserve because a dev was rushed, but we will if we have to. we promise there are plenty of faces left for everyone and spending the extra time on your dev is well worth it!

jay cooper | first day on the job @agelessrp

jay’s nervous when he crosses the threshold of the fire station, but he doesn’t want to show it. he puffs out his chest and holds his head high, daring anyone to ask him why he’s here. he’s the new guy, but he knows he belongs already. he’s earned it with his barely passing written exam marks and his much more impressive physical exam score. lafd, his badge says, and he wants to wear it well.

jay makes it all the way into the well of the firehouse, and no one says anything. in fact, there’s not even that many glances toward him as the rest of the crew go about their day. easy banter fills the air; he hears snippets of their conversations about spouses, kids, last night’s reality tv rundown. the firehouse operates as a well-oiled machine…one that doesn’t seem to need him. it irks him after a while, the total lack of a response to his presence, and he approaches one of the firefighters who is hanging back and watching the others. “excuse me, I’m looking for captain nichols’s office. i’m jay cooper, the new hire,” he offers as explanation, watching the man’s expression change to one of amusement. confusion crosses jay’s face—what’s so funny? “cooper, huh?” the man repeats before nodding to a hallway, “down that hallway is nichols’s office.” jay gives his own nod in thanks. ”great, appreciate it.” and he heads that way until he reaches an office marked “captain,” the door half ajar. knocking gently, jay makes his way in but no one’s there. he sits in a chair across from the desk and waits. and waits some more.

the minutes pass slowly, and his impatience bubbles up. still, he sits there, expecting that the captain will come in and greet him, maybe even give him a tour. nothing. the sound of the firehouse alarm jolts him from his repetitive thoughts (which are mostly “should I keep waiting? where is this guy?”), and he jumps up, instinct kicking in. racing back down the hallway, he joins the crew as they gear up and jog to the trucks. gently barking orders amidst all of this is the same man who directed him to the empty office. puzzled, jay makes his way back over to the man, who smirks at jay. ”cooper, decided to join us finally, huh?” jay starts to explain himself, “well, there was no one in—” before he’s cut off by the older man. “you said you were looking for nichols’s office, not nichols himself.” the smirk stays put as captain nichols nods toward an untouched locker. “if you hurry, i’ll let you ride along for this one.”
