I'm now at volume 3 of 'Lord of the Mysteries' and I have to say, Klein choosing to name himself after fictional characters every time he has to come up with a new identity is so real of him. Like, that is exactly what I would do in his situation
He immediately composed himself because he had already changed his appearance to that of the deceased Vice Admiral Hurricane Qilangos. And inside Qilangos was the crazy adventurer, Gehrman Sparrow. And inside Gehrman Sparrow was the identity of the great detective, Sherlock Moriarty. And inside Sherlock Moriarty was the identity of Klein Moretti.
His identity is like a Matrioshka doll lmaooo
It's the ultimate Scooby-Doo villain-unveiling, one after another hahaha
Gehrman: Today I found out that apparently if you kill someone in international waters on an unregistered boat then throw the body overboard, they can't trace it back to any one legal system so you can't be prosecuted for their murder.
