Kia ora! We've had a jam-packed month of exciting client news, announcements, events and collaborations which we are thrilled to share with you in this month's newsletter. In the lead up to ANZAC Day 2022, Anthem was honoured to support New Zealand Memorial Museum Trust - Le Quesnoy in revealing their partnership with world-renowned Wētā Workshop which resulted in a blitz of national coverage. Our client Fullers360 applauded Government investment into two new electric ferries for Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour, a significant step on Auckland Transport's low emission roadmap. And as we return to life beyond Covid-19 lockdowns, NZ Story CEO, David Downs, spoke to NZ Herald about spurring international connections as the world reopens. RUSH’s Chief Technology Officer, Danushka Abeysuriya, shared some interesting thoughts on Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter with TodayFM and AM. You can catch Danushka speaking at Tech Week 2022, which begins May 16. NZ Doctor spoke to Exsurgo CEO Richard Little about taking control of your brain, pain and sleep. Last but not least, Cure Kids has collaborated with charity organisation Great Full to launch an adorable collection of children's pyjamas supporting child health research in New Zealand, which you can get your hands on below. Bringing New Zealand’s untold WW1 story to life

Working alongside The New Zealand Memorial Museum Trust - Le Quesnoy (NZMMT - LQ), Anthem is honoured to be involved in the recent announcement of the Trust's partnership with Wētā Workshop to create a world-class interactive visitor experience in Le Quesnoy, France. Opening in a phased manner from ANZAC Day 2023, the living memorial museum and visitor experience will honour all New Zealanders who fought in Europe in WWI and bring to life the often-untold story of Le Quesnoy's liberation by New Zealand's armed forces in 1918, after four years of German occupation. Proudly supporting the announcement our team worked to secure a blitz of national coverage across the likes of New Zealand Herald, Stuff.co.nz, Newstalk ZB, Radio New Zealand and Newshub.

Fullers360 applauds Government investment in e-ferries pilot

Last week, the Government announced it will co-fund two new electric ferries for Auckland's Waitematā Harbour. This follows Fullers360's announcement in December 2021 to construct its own electric hybrid vessel, which is on track to be in the water by the end of 2023.

Fullers360 CEO Mike Horne spoke to Radio New Zealand Nine to Noon host, Kathryn Ryan, about the exciting future of Auckland's ferry network. In particular, how the two recently announced vessels support Fullers360's long signalled vision for New Zealand to build and operate the world's first large-scale sustainable ferry network.

Promoting New Zealand to the world

In a recent NZ Herald article, our client David Downs - CEO of NZ Story - spoke to the Herald's Business Editor at Large Liam Dann about the opportunity for Kiwi businesses to dial up their authentic national values to help spur on international connections as we reopen to the world. Capturing the challenge and opportunity in a nutshell: "Kiwis are wonderfully humble but actually sometimes that doesn't wash, so we want to teach people how to get a bit more pep in their step and a bit more haka into it, otherwise you under-sell the country", David explains.

Talking chronic pain and sleep in NZ Doctor

Exsurgo CEO Richard Little featured in NZ Doctor last month to share insights into how the Axon headset can help people take control of their brain, pain and sleep. NZ Doctor Journalist, Maia Hall interviewed Richard to learn more about how by gamifying EEG neurofeedback technology, Exsurgo is helping to create efficient and money saving technology to "free up the human resources and the clinicians to do their smart, human stuff."

Cure Kids x Great Full

Anthem's long-time client and longer-time friend, Cure Kids have recently collaborated with Great Full to launch an adorable collection of children's pyjamas. Anthem initiated the idea for Cure Kids to partner with Great Full as a way to tell New Zealand about the important child health research it funds, to improve the health of our tamariki, as well as raise funds to continue this important research.
