Hey everyone we wanted to say Happy One Year Anniversary! We thank you all for spending this last year with us. This has been one hell of a year and we look forward to many more with all of you! Seriously we love you all so much and we hope you know it. We’d be nothing without you all and you are so special to us. Seriously, we are so happy we are celebrating this milestone and look forward to more with you all.

In honor of our One Year Anniversary, we have also decided to leave you with a fun, foreboding plot drop as to what is to come. Enjoy and we can’t wait to hear all of your theories as to what you think the below prophecy could mean.

With the start of the Summer and the ominous warning from the Catalyst still looming over Lunar Cove’s head, the Banshees who work at Good Omens gathered at the Fae Court in an attempt to help. They combined their magic in an attempt to look into the future for the whole town only to wind up with a foreboding prophecy instead. The below is what they have predicted to come true, but only time will tell as to what each line means:

Ten of your weaknesses will be used against you,  Nine of you will lose your heart, Eight of you will be left to pick a side,  Seven will walk between a nightmare and reality,  Six of you will gain the upper hand,  Five heads will never be the same,  Four will be confronted by a figment of their past, Three lives will be lost,  Two will face an impossible choice,  And  One will wreck havoc on this town, before Lunar Cove as you know it will either survive or fall...

Hello Lunar Covians !! This week we're going to be trying our first ever Activity Challenge! The premise is this: If the entire rp meets activity for a week, (this Friday, next Monday, next Wednesday) then you'll win a little prize! That prize is that you will get next Friday off, with no activity checks! We're hoping that this little challenge will encourage everyone to reach out to your fellow members and plot, or post some of those closed starters you've been meaning to write (ourselves included), or even fill out one of our past prompts. Admin Kourtney has also posted some events going on for the week if you need a little inspo.

Please remember that this is supposed to be a fun little team challenge to bring out some creativity and a shared feeling of competitiveness, this is not meant to stress anyone out. For this challenge, we will not count anyone who has been dropped from the rp or is on hiatus. You can ask for a hiatus at any time. If this is something you all like, we will bring it back in the future and introduce some bigger prizes. If not, that's okay too! We hope to see you on the dash soon 💗

Hey everyone! We wanted to reach out since we are starting to plot out our Valentine's Day event and we have an idea we're very excited about, but we need volunteers! This is going to be a chaos event, so if you would like any of your characters to be injured please send a message to the main specifying which character you’d like to participate in the chaos plot drop we will be having. We will then go through and pick out which characters will be included in the future plot drop and reach out to you each accordingly to let you know how your character will be involved to ensure it is something you’ll OOC be comfortable with. We’d really love to create a fun, chaotic and interactive event for you, so the more characters who are volunteered the better!

Hi everyone! Your admins have been chatting about how we do activity checks and decided rather than having surprise activity checks where you may not know when the activity check will happen, we decided to have set activity checks. Activity itself has not changed. In order to meet activity, you must post at least two replies (to two different players) within a seven day period. But, for those who like to plan ahead and know when activity checks are happening, we'd like to be transparent with you all and let you know that from now on activity checks will happen on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10p EST. If you post your replies on Monday, you will not be at risk at being inactive until Monday of the following week. We hope having a heads up as to when activity checks are happening will help relieve some stress and make the RP experience that more enjoyable!

A NEW NOTE HAS BEEN POSTED TO THE BULLETIN BOARD IN TOWN HALL

Hello Lunar Covians and tourists alike! As you may have noticed, your admins (administrative assistants to the town, if you will) have been hard at work lately getting everything ready for our latest plot drop and event and we need a couple days in the spa-- uh I mean, to recover! Therefore, we will be out of office until Saturday February 18th! After a teeny break, we hope to come to you new and refreshed, and then give some of our pages (including the plot) a refresh as well! We plan on continuing acceptances on Monday, February 20th, as mentioned in our last event post. Thank you all for your enthusiasm and continued support, we love our current residents and are excited to see new people eager to join our little town as well. See you on the weekend!

Thanks for sticking with us through this huge acceptance day, both current and new members! We hope everyone is getting a chance to know each other and plot things out together. Given that we've had such a large influx of new members and characters, we're going to be taking Monday off and accepting only on Thursday next week to give everyone a chance to mingle (and give us a chance to take a break!) Also, due to our Coalition of NonSupernaturals having (checks notes) zero members, we will be closing off human apps unless they are a member of the CONS (not including our current reservations). Calling all vampires! This just in- we have decided to update our vampire lore. At Lunar Cove, due to their witch origins, vampires not only have the ability to siphon, but now, if they siphon magic from a witch, they will be able to temporarily borrow one of a witch’s inherent abilities for up to an hour. During this time period, the witch will not be able to use said inherent ability, while the vampire, in question, can.

So for all of you vamps in town, you’re welcome. And for all of you witches, you may want to start watching your back when it comes to your fanged friends.

From this point forward, we will be holding acceptances on Mondays and Thursdays with a cut off time to get those apps in at 8p ET to give us enough time to read through all of the apps and post acceptances. Our next acceptance will be this upcoming Monday, so if you're looking to move in, make sure to pack your bags and send in an app by then!

WELCOME TO LUNAR COVE! 

We are officially open! We will be accepting apps moving forwards on a rolling basis, so if you would like to be part of our family, feel free to apply and we will accept as soon as all three admins have had a chance to read them. 

We allow you to take 2 characters right off the bat and for more information in terms of our rules & applying please click here.

For those who have already been accepted, we're so happy to have you here. Please read over the checklist that can be found here and we can wait to start plotting and interacting on the dash with you all! 

Given that this is the first day of the rp, we will not be enforcing the starter rule for the first four starters that are posted. After that, we ask you to respond to at least two starters before posting your own. We also do ask that your first starter is an open starter, after which you are free to make closed starters. Please feel free to write starters/have your characters react to the above plot drop or on anything you'd like and, last but not least, we hope you have fun! We know we're so excited to officially be open!
