First image: it starts with a passage from a poetry by Li-Young Lee, "I loved you before I was born. It doesn't make sense, I know. Long before eternity, I caught a glimpse of your neck and shoulders, your ankles and toes. And I've been lonely for you from that instant". It is accompanied by two stills from Word of Honor Episode 1; one with Wen Kexing looking at Zhou Zishu in disguise from behind his fan and the other with Zhou Zishu looking at Wen Kexing whilst clutching a jug of wine. The second image starts with an excerpt from a poem by Salma Derra, "i want to tell you that i think you have the only hands that i’d like to hold in the cold because you’re the only person who knows that i can’t say words like ‘i love you.’ but for some reason, you look at me, you talk to me, like i might have invented the phrase." It is accompanied by a close up still of Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing's hands from the 24th episode of Word of Honor, wherein Wen Kexing clutches a sleeping Zhou Zishu's hand. The third image is an excerpt from a book by Jeanette Winterson, "Time that withers you will wither me. We will fall like ripe fruit and roll down the grass together. Dear friend, let me lie beside you watching the clouds until the earth covers us and we are gone." It is accompanied by a still from episode 18 of word of honor whereun Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing lie on the grass, gazing at the clouds. The fourth image starts with an excerpt from a poetry by Jan Heller Levi, "All my stories are about being left, all yours about leaving. So we should have known. Should have known to leave well enough alone; we knew, and we didn’t." It is accompanied by one still from the 14th episode of Word of Honor, where Wen Ke Xing stands in the rain and says, "I want to be with you through life and death, but what a pity that we met so late." It is accompanied by a two stills from the 20th episode of Word of Honor, where Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing are seen hugging each other. After that is another excerpt from a poem by Louise Glück, "Doesn't everyone want to feel in the night, the beloved body, compass, polestar, to hear the quiet breathing that says I am alive, that means also you are alive, because you hear me, you are here with me. And when one turns, the other turns—"
The sixth image starts with a still from Word of Honor, epsiode 28th. Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu are eating dinner together. The seventh image starts with an except from a poetry by Bob Hicok, "Here, when I say “I never want to be without you”, somewhere else I am saying “I never want to be without you again.” And when I touch you in each of the places we meet, in all of the lives we are, it’s with hands that are dying and resurrected. When I don’t touch you it’s a mistake in any life, in each place and forever." Following that are two stills from Word of Honor, epsiode 8 and epsiode 27.
