Some new official Yo-kai Watch content in the west
Level 5's giant robot game Megaton Musashi W has a Jibanyan themed DLC. Apparently it's been a thing in the japanese version for a while, but it very recently made it into the localization. I don't understand yet what it consists of, he's called a "V-Navigator", wich I assume is the name of the pilots of the giant robots. I assume Jibanyan himself appears in the game as a pilot, I wonder if he has lines and if they would be text or audio.
Not sure if tied to this DLC, Megaton Musashi W also includes stickers of Jibanyan and Komasan to decorate your robot.
101Leafy has made some "let's play" videos of the game after the news, but I only noticed the YW stickers on his robot, not whatever the Jibanyan V-Navigator is supposed to be.
Hololive Virtual YouTuber Inugami Korone and Yo-kai Watch mascot Jibaynan are now available as “V-Navigators” in mech action RPG Megaton Musashi X, developer LEVEL-5 announced. Each character is available for 770 yen each via the in-game store.
V-Navigators support the player in combat with commentary on the state of battle and words of encouragement.
Megaton Musashi X is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch in Japan as a free-to-play title.
I woke up hella late bc I'm sick, but the first thing I did was to watch the level 5 direct and I have many emotions, so I'm infodumping here bc none of my friends particularly likes level 5 games as much as I do.
First of all, THEY ARE HAVING GLOBAL RELEASES!!!!! My latina ass is crying so hard rn- I only managed to play Inazuma eleven and Layton bc I have a modded 3ds, I didn't want to go around to change the location of my switch to japan just to get the games, so it's a relief that they are coming out globally :D
Anyways, all the games look good!!! If I'm not too broke when Decapolice or Fantasy life comes out I might consider getting one of them, but honestly I'm more exited for IE and Layton.
I don't know much about megaton musashi bc I never quite got into it, but the trailer seemed very good!
Honestly I'm so exited about anything level 5 throws at us rn, but now I just have to sit patiently for release dates.
So apparently it is Level 5's 24th Anniversary and to celebrate they're giving away an exclusive clock that features their most famous characters in pixel form.
Unfortunately they only ship to addresses in Japan.
To be in for a chance to win, you need to retweet the post and follow the official Level 5 Twitter.
Fantasy Life i Delayed: Level-5 Unveils New Release Window and Exciting Updates
In an unexpected twist, Level-5 has officially pushed back the release of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time to next year, missing its previously anticipated 2023 launch window. The delay was confirmed by the game developer, leaving fans both disappointed and curious about what prompted this decision.
For those anxiously awaiting further details, there’s a silver lining. Level-5 has…
So here's a making of Megaton Musashi subbed by the same fansubber whos doing the series.
This series is my favorite Mech anime and the reason why this never got picked up by any official licensor of anime I'll never understand. (other than poor taste in anime choices)
