What's even funnier to me than the "bruce wayne cant possibly be batman" meta jokes is the idea that in universe its looped back around. Like, Gothamites start making surrealist memes about Bruce wayne being batman because the idea of him being Batman is so ridiculous to them and it becomes a whole trend overnight Goncharov style.

Bruce wakes up the next day and immediately panics thinking his identity has somehow been discovered by the public overnight (the kids then have to explain memes to him).

i’ve read your fic “weird” way too many times, it’s absolutely wonderful! Would you ever consider writing something similar in Jack’s perspective, like his inner thoughts leading up to the part:

"My bed was cold when I got in last night," he explains, voice muffled.”

Like I’m trying to imagine his inner thought process of coming home late and deciding to sleep in Eric’s bed and I think it would be so fun to read!

hi! i'm less confident with jack's perspective, so i don't know that i'll be doing something from his point of view. however, i can tell you here what his thoughts were:

it's really late when he's coming home from the library. he tried to convince eric to come with him, but he knows that eric doesn't focus well in the library, so he only tried a little.

the library was terribly unproductive feeling, and so he was frustrated before he ever left the building. he also almost got kicked out for audibly groaning. it is what it is.

he didn't even get into his bed when he came home. he stared at it for a solid ten seconds, sleepy and frustrated, before taking off his shoes in his own room and going to eric's.

eric woke up a little when jack was getting into bed with him (which eric doesn't remember at all) and lifted up the blanket when jack hesitated getting in. come on, jackie. and jack got into the bed because he wanted to and he was given permission and he just wanted to feel eric next to him.

sam and eileen: hunting power couple, still working on their communication skills, probably the pair that argues the least out of any of these

sam and cas: don't do this if you want things to be remotely functional when they're done

dean and eileen: maximum damage, minimum functionality. encourage each other to be batshit insane. most adorable odd couple in the garrison

dean and cas: wordless communication but at what cost

eileen and cas: maximum efficiency, they go out for food after (still covered in blood/ash/viscera) and dine and ditch bc they're both the "you're paying for me, right?" wet eyed partner of a pushover

fic where after cas's confession and death, dean talks to him all the time when he's alone. just updates him on jack's goings on (bc jack stayed w his parents TO ME). he develops a life, gets a job, meets new people, and all the time he's just tellin cas about his day whenever he can, tellin him all the gossip at the garage, what new exercise routine sammy is putting himself through now, how eileen is settling in. and the people at the garage know about cas. not that he's dead, but that he's the great love of dean's life or whatever, not that he'd ever put it that way. it's just all over his face. learning to live a simple life. moving out of the bunker. planting a garden. tellin cas when his tomatoes are comin up good, how the mint is bein a little rascal, trying to spread to the other plantin pots, all of it. he lights a candle on september 18th. it's years before cas comes back
