Hi Jess!! Thanks for the follow! And I actually don’t cry while listening to babylon despite it being a calum song because it’s relatively more fast paced even though the concept of the song is sad. However, for me, the saddest lyrics in the song are “but still the hardest part is knowing when to let go” because I felt that and I relate to that. It’s like you’re suffering but you don’t know when enough is enough because you still love/have feelings for that person. Another one is “if we’re way too faded to fight, you can stay one more night” because I mean damn, they’ve faded away from the relationship so much that they can’t even fight anymore because there’s nothing to fight about. It’s just a dead relationship but still he wants them to stay another night despite this in hope. That’s why it’s sad.
