The Map to the Rings of Samadhi was changed slightly between seasons. In Season 2 and the sets, the Orange Ring is located at the Lotus Hotel in Lantern City, while in Season 3 it's in the city's giant lantern.
[ID: Two maps, with three red marks marking the location of a Ring of Samadhi. The left hand corner is different between the two images. The first depicts lanterns surrounding a building with a lotus on it. The second is of lanterns surrounding a giant lantern. Both are surrounded by mountains]
At one point in development, MK worked at a Monkey King themed restaurant instead of Pigsy’s Noodles.
[ID: A digital painting of MK in his work uniform, he is yawning. Unlike in the finished show, the branding on his shirt and the take-out box have a Monkey King logo. In the upper corner is an enlarged version of the logo. It depicts Monkey King, with opera face makeup and a yellow hat. He has a wide smile and holds a bowl of noodles.]
Two extra spice levels are added to Demon Bull Barbecue’s menu in the Mandarin dub.
[ID: A barbecue food stand where Red Son, who wears an apron, presents a menu chart. In the first image there are five spice levels, and the spice is measured in chili peppers, while in the second there are seven levels and the menu is plain.]
Red Son presumably murders about 5 or more people in "Skeleton Key" by running them over with the Inferno Truck. Counting the couple MK accidentally launches into a pit in an earlier scene, this means the episode may have the highest on-screen kill count in the whole show.
The sides of the boxes seen in “A LEGO Journey to the East” have art from MK’s turnaround sheet, this differs from the final release which uses artwork by the late Sean Jeon.
[I.D: Two boxes of the LEGO set Monkie Kid's Cloud Jet, they are stacked on top of each other on a wooden table. The side of the box has an image of MK in a neutral front-facing pose.]
