I don’t care what the reviews say: I love the teachers’ romance. Heartstopper is about queer coming of age, and Mr. Farouk’s queer coming of age was delayed. Many of us experienced this. His story belongs.

Someone ik said that they don't like Heartstopper because "it's cinge and immature". My brother in Christ, they're 15/16! It's almost like 15-16 year-olds don't want to discuss how much money they're gonna put in their joint account for paying off their mortgage. Of course they're gonna want to make out every other second. Of course they're gonna get distracted by the sheer excitement of having a partner. I stg, sex, nudity and substance abuse has been so normalised in teen shows that people nowadays forget how an average teenager acts.
Plus, if you think that Heartstopper is immature then I'm pretty sure you haven't watched the show. The show LITERALLY deals with topics like bullying, depression, trauma, sh, societal expectations, eating disorder, OCD and MUCH MORE!

UHM where are all the students shipping the crap out of mr ajayi and mr farouk?? two single teachers chaperoning a schooltrip and sharing a room should end in at least 4 fanedits and a notesapp slash fanfic written on the bus.

Season 2 spoilers, teachers
Okay, but can we talk about Miss Singh for a second please? The way she's not only supportive and happy for Nick and Charlie, but for Ajayi and Farouk too? Hers and Ajayi's little interaction while the students were preparing the room for prom is just so precious and.. I don't know how to put it but...they seem so youthful in that scene somehow?
The way she bumps his side.
"You should...uh, invite him tonight!"
Look at her encouraging him, her little smile, the way she wants to peek at his phone...how she playfully teases him.
And how fidgety and smiley he is when he texts Farouk tho...
Can you imagine him coming back from Paris and telling her about everything that happened? Her joking about their perfect sunshine and grump energy? But becoming serious immediately when she notices he's quite confused ? Giving him advice and just listening?
Queer friendships are just as important as romantic relationships, and also seeing the queer adults in this show supporting each other, even if it was only a short scene is *le chef kiss*
I kinda want a scene with the three of them tho ,lol
Also, Miss Singh is so pretty? My gay ass can't take it
