Okay I know it's not from the original comic or anything but Mr. Farouk having exactly none of Ben's shit was iconic
Also you cannot tell me this isn't the moment Mr. Ajayi decided "I must know him carnally by the day's end"

Mr farouk telling the waiter no onion in french and then adding "i'm serious big man i'll bloat like crazy" in english is actually the funniest moment of the whole season

Someone ik said that they don't like Heartstopper because "it's cinge and immature". My brother in Christ, they're 15/16! It's almost like 15-16 year-olds don't want to discuss how much money they're gonna put in their joint account for paying off their mortgage. Of course they're gonna want to make out every other second. Of course they're gonna get distracted by the sheer excitement of having a partner. I stg, sex, nudity and substance abuse has been so normalised in teen shows that people nowadays forget how an average teenager acts.
Plus, if you think that Heartstopper is immature then I'm pretty sure you haven't watched the show. The show LITERALLY deals with topics like bullying, depression, trauma, sh, societal expectations, eating disorder, OCD and MUCH MORE!

I just-
I'm left so speechless by this show
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
So many parts of this season touched me in a way I wasn't ready for - and that's after having read the books!
One of the biggest ones was watching adult queers. Mr. Farouk - a queer educator who didn't realise it until he was in his 20s (I was looking into a mirror, y'all) Just hearing him talk about not having a youthful love teenage experience - that made me feel so validated. Yes, I'm in my late 20s and shouldn't be seeking validation from a fictional character, but oh well. As an openly queer educator, I felt seen for the first time.
The second gut punch was in the last episode. When Charlie opened about the cutting. Oh how I bawled. Not only because my heart ached for Charlie, but also because my heart ached for my teenage self. The only one hugging me at the time was myself. No one knew, no one knows.
This series is so important for so many reasons, and for so many people. I am so so thankful to be a part of a generation that gets to have this show as a safe space. And I am so excited that my students will have this as well.
(Yes, I'm that stereotypical Literacy highschool queer-friendly educator. Yes, I am the reason why my students are hooked on to reading Heartstopper. No, I'm not sorry)
